spring att w/ flurry of blows [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-10-07, 10:54 AM can i perform flurry of blows and still move before and after with spring atack? i have read it over and over and i guess i am not understanding it but i think i can and friends say no i can't. thank ya'll

04-10-07, 10:58 AM Reread the Flurry of Blows class feature, paying attention to where it states the type of action it requires. It is a full attack action, so no, you can not make a move action before or after it.

Spring attack specifies only "when using the attack action" so this works.The only ways to get multiple attacks while Spring Attacking are an ability that gives bonus attacks as part of making an attack (eg Cleave or Improved Trip) or an ability that allows you to make multiple attacks as part of an "attack action" (not merely a standard action).

The above poster sounds like he is assuming that "attack action" in Spring Attack includes a full attack, but that's a completely different action. A Hustle ability (assuming it grants an extra move action) won't allow you to multi-attack spring attack.

04-10-07, 11:31 PM "Snap Kick" Gives you an extra unarmed strike on a standard OR full attack, with all your attacks at -2 penalty. That would work with spring attack. Tome of Battle.
