| HunterofTimbermare07-24-07, 09:56 PM | My current D&D character has some what of a dangeous side to himself. Not only has Lycanthrope but has turned toward the shady side and taken up the class of being a "Street Fighter" and calling it a hobby, The character also has a flaw being greedy and a bit of alcholism. My question is after maxxing out in SF class and getting "pick pocketing" is my chacter allowed to take not only someone's coin poutch but say a dagger, or a few potions? |

Is the item on their belt like a coin pouch would be and about the same size? Then it is probably the same difficulty. Your DM should scale the difficulty according to adverse or favorable circumstances involving item location, how it is secured, and who is watching. If all else fails, lure the victim into an alley and draw your crossbow. :p |

| KrisTheGreat07-25-07, 03:11 AM | i believe in most cases dc 20 would cover it except for taking a weapon from the person this is a use of sleight of hand in the epic book the dc for that is 50 |
| Garonak07-25-07, 04:39 AM | That is if the person is holding said weapon, not if the person has the weapon in his/her belt. |
| HunterofTimbermare07-25-07, 04:36 PM | turns out it does work. I picked a fight with one of our party members who disagreed with me and while he was goning to cast a spell i picked his potion of healing and drank it right in front of him and riped him in two. :D |
