Recently I have been looking at my collection of books, and not once did I find anything....well almost anything...that resembled street fighter. Now I know what you are thinking.
The heck do you want? This is DnD not playstation!!! NOOB!!!!

But flurry of blows is just like E.Honda's thousand palm slap.
What I wanted to know was there anything else, like say the Hadoken, Chun Li's lightning kick, element adding abbilities for unarmed attacks, and so on.

Also, not being a monk player, actually I have never played monk before, I dont really understand it's progression. If it really were a monk, you wouldn't just get punches. You'd have kicks, arm breaking manuvers, and things of that sort.
Maybe I haven't read it fully.

But at anyrate I would like this answered.

Fiery Fist, Fiery Ki Defense, Ki Blast, [PHBII] and various Power Attack-dependent feats come to mind. [CW mostly]

The variant ability for monks in Dragon Magic lets a monk wreathe his unarmed strikes in elemental energy.

But if you want the really flashy stuff, see if one of your friends owns the Book of Nine Swords. The Street Fighter crew probably has more swordsages and warblades among its ranks than regular monks, considering the types of moves they can pull off without the aid of magical items.

Also a few warlock levels might be a decent idea, you can lob your eldritch blast all day, just like ken and ryu.

That said, i have been working on an Mortal Kombat d20, it's not ready yet, probably won't for a couple of weeks, but when it's done you might be able to use that system for a street fighter themed one.

You seem to have missed that most all of your issues in the books already.

There are tons of special "monk" abilities: throwing people far distances, shooting blasts of energy, sheathing your body in fire...

Most of them are in the PHBII and Complete Warrior, a few are in Oriental Adventures (and Mighty Throw is in the free errata file for Oriental Adventures because they forgot to put it in the book), several Prestige Classes add things like the Drunken Master, the Reaping Mauler, the Kensai, the Enlightened Fist, Sacred Fist, Fist of the Forest... and many feats and Prestige Classes exist in the Environment series of books (Sandstorm, Stormwrack, and Frosturn).

Monks by default do not only attack with their fists, it says in the Monk description that a Monk's entire body is his weapon. Fists are just the most commonly used parts for most, but it can just as easily by your legs or head or elbows... So you can Flurry with punches, or with kicks, whichever you prefer -- they still do the same thing, though many feats specify they affect your 'fists' and you may want to discuss with the DM about allowing it to work on your feet if that is what you prefer to focus on.

If you are looking for a large amount of "Monk" abilities, you should look into getting Oriental Adventures (this is a 3.0 product, but you can download a semi-official update to 3.5 from the original author in Dragon Magazine #318 available for download at Paizo.com for like $5) which has many classes, prestige classes, and feats (though most feats have been reprinted since). Some of the prestige classes are hidden in the back of the book because they are technically setting-dependent but I don't think it would be a problem to use them in other settings.

Complete Warrior, and Player's Handbook II have a ton of things. Many types of moves you might be interested in are covered in Skill Tricks presented in Complete Scoundrel, like instantly getting back on your feet, or running up walls, but otherwise that book has little for unarmed combat, unless you are willing to take levels in Rogue or other classes with Sneak Attack-like abilities such as Ninja or Scout.

The environment books have classes that focus on manipulating elements, Frostburn has a class that gets fists covered in sharp ice, Sandstorm has several interesting feats like making your Stunning Fists into Poison Fists, or giving them a bit of reach. Stormwrack has the least for unarmed combat, though there is a feat that lets you Trip multiple foes at once.

Tome of Battle: Book of Nine Swords has a whole system that is sort of like melee magic. You should look into it, it is hard to explain.

The Dragon Compendium (Volume 1, though they have yet to make a volume 2...) is another good source for unarmed and Monk-ish abilities. It is not an "official" WotC product, but the most things that appear in WotC books have originally appeared in Dragon and Dungeon Magazines in the past. There is a class that is sort of like a martial-arts dancer (makes me think of capoeira) and feats like Ring the Golden Bell which let you make Stunning Fist attacks (with damage) at decent range. It's a nice book.

The majority of "special", or niche things are in Prestige Classes and feats, and you shouldn't be afraid to train a bit of magic or maneuvers (ToB) to get what you want.

If you are looking for particular things, we can probably help point you in the right direction on these boards.

If you have very specific ideas of what you want a character to be able to do though, you may want to ask on the Character Optimization boards; they can figure out anything.
