| Grimmoloth05-29-07, 06:42 AM | Does this feat exist in D&D? If your wondering my source of interest, its from the Icewind Dall II feat list. |
| Shadowfax705-29-07, 09:49 AM | I never heard of it in regular D&D. What does it do ? |
| SolenVlos05-29-07, 12:39 PM | what does it do? must have an equivalent |
| Edymnion05-29-07, 12:44 PM | Haven't seen it, but my first impression would be that it increases your carryinig capacity. |
| skywyze05-29-07, 12:45 PM | If memory serves me right, it increases your carrying capacity by 50%. Might have some other effects too, don't remember. |
| Grimmoloth05-29-07, 04:49 PM | If memory serves me right, it increases your carrying capacity by 50%. Might have some other effects too, don't remember. Yep. Just increases your carrying capacity by 50%. Thats it. I just wonder if it in one of the other dozen books I don't have, but from the sounds of it, Icewind Dall made it up. |
| CantripN05-30-07, 10:50 AM | I recall a Drow-Only feat that did just that. Sec. EDIT: Couldn't find it, but I'm quite sure it exists. EDIT2: Found it. http://realmshelps.dandello.net/cgi-bin/feats.pl?Increased_Carrying_Capacity,Dra gon |
| Xaxor05-30-07, 02:57 PM | Natural Heavyweight from the Planar Handbook doubles carrying capacity and gives some bonuses and penalties to skills. |
| Ogre4Hire05-30-07, 11:57 PM | The "feat" originated as a perk from the Fallout game series, which was made by the same designers who did Icewind Dale. Prior to that, it did not exist in D&D (which made sense, given that few DMs actually bothered to track encumbrance). |
