| The_Unseen_Illusion08-05-07, 06:15 PM | I always thought it was like the Jedi Mind Trick. I had recently used it to keep our weapons from being confiscated by the town gaurds. Can it also help me sell items at base price, instead of half price? p.s. Sorry for posting in the wrong thread |

Since the merchant can sell the items at full price, paying that much for them is not "unreasonable" which is the limiting factor for the spell. But I think most merchants would have some kind of anti-charm precautions in effect, especially those used to dealing with adventurers. |

Normally I would use it to get an enemy to drop its weapons or that surrender would be a really good idea. I've also allowed it to be used to send a thief caught in the mages room to go rob someone else. |
