| Fell Poopsmith08-14-07, 11:25 AM | Is it possible to take feats such as Sudden Widen or Sudden Empower more than once? |
| arderkrag08-14-07, 11:32 AM | Ummm...no. Why would you want to, anyway? |
| Fell Poopsmith08-14-07, 11:34 AM | To use it more than once. |
| arderkrag08-14-07, 11:37 AM | Ok, I'm at work - what are limits on said feats? I don't have Comp. Arcane with me. |
| Mindolin08-14-07, 11:43 AM | If it does not say that you can take it more than once, then you cannot. |
| Fell Poopsmith08-14-07, 11:53 AM | Gotcha. |
| Fallenangel35908-14-07, 12:03 PM | any idea on where the rule that says that is? |
| tarkin08-14-07, 12:07 PM | In the PHB, under feats. Also, in 3.5 they clearly stated that you can not apply the same metamagic twice to the same spell. |

The sudden feats are useable once per day. He wants to be able to use them more than once per day by taking the feat more than once. But I could see how you might miss that. |
| jaelis08-14-07, 12:17 PM | Also, in 3.5 they clearly stated that you can not apply the same metamagic twice to the same spell. Well, you wouldn't be doing that. I don't think there would be any thing wrong in letting you take a sudden metamagic feat more than once. But RAW, you can't: In general, having a feat twice is the same as having it once. |
| Buttmonkey08-14-07, 04:31 PM | Well, some state that you can take them more than once, Mortal Bane, for example, but with the sudden feats, they're useable only once per day, so I would see no harm in taking a once per day feat more than once. You're devoting an entire feat to it, so why not? |
| primemover00308-14-07, 07:38 PM | Feats are easier to get a hold of than Rods.... I'd only allow it once. |
