I was wondering if there was a feat for Techniques.

Or if not how this would sound...

Paladin Mod. Trade Spells for Weapon Techniques

Basically instead of casting a spell you could burn the spell slot as a full round action to deal bonus damage with your weapon.

So say...

1st level slots allow you to...
(Caster Level)d6 Elemental or Holy damage to target with your weapon instead of normal damage to 1 target.
(Must make successful attack roll)
(max 5d6 damage)

2nd level slots get you...
(Caster Level)d6 Elemental or Holy Damage to a 10ft radius with your weapon instead of normal damage.
(Requires Ref Save DC 15+Cha)
(max 5d6 damage)

3rd level slots get you...
(Caster Level)d12 Elemental or Holy Damage to a 10 foot radius with your weapon instead of normal damage.
(Requires Successful Attack Roll)
(max 5d12 damage)

4nd level slots get you...
(Caster Level)d12 Elemental or Holy Damage to a 10ft radius with your weapon instead of normal damage.
(Requires Ref Save DC 15+Cha)
(max 5d12 damage)

...Elemental Mods...

Cold deals +1 point of damage per die.
Fire Deals +1 Point of damage per die
Shock boosts Save DC by 2
Sonic Reduces damage by 1 per die, but bypasses object hardness
Holy deals damage to Evil and undead ONLY.

What you want is a divine version of Arcane Strike. Might get kind of powerful if you let a cleric have it.

You might check out the swift bless weapon, knight's move, quick march, and zeal spells from the SC. They are all swift actions that improve your attacks or give you more tactical options.

Will do. And i need to get a laptop and all of the books in pdf or a means to buy all the books in hard back....

:( really sucks having to use D20Srd.com and dandwiki.com as a referance...

Your idea seems to closely match things found in Tome of Battle: Book of Nine Swords. It is basically "sword magic", where you can hit a guy with a flaming sword for extra damage, or smash into him for 4d6 damage, etc. -- almost as if you were casting a kind of spell. The Crusader class is very similar to a Paladin already, and he can Smite much more often. :)

Otherwise, there are Paladin variants where you give up spellcasting for bonus feats, I believe a nice one is in Complete Champion, making a kind of Paladin/Fighter hybrid. It's not like the spells would do all that much anyway...
