If sombody does a spring attack vs sombody that has thicket of blades up does the thicket negate the ability of spring attack to nagate AOO on them for doing it?

Because by RAW it does state that any movemt in any hex you threaten provokes an AOO.

I read it as negating the AoO protection granted by Spring Attack.

Note, they would still get the +4 from Mobility.

And Spring Attack still lets you do the attack in the middle of the move.

Not sure if Tumble could negate the Thicket.

Wow... I don't know If I like that. Spring attack is a fairly feat intensive chain to climb. These stances are only once per encounter right?

Stances are active constantly, as long as you've taken a swift action at some point to enter it.

Read the Spring Attack Feat - it specifically states that "Moving in this way does not provoke an attack of opportunity from the defender you attack". It very specifically notes that the movement of the attacker does not provoke AoO's from the defender. Note that other AoOs from other actions taken by the attacker would not be negated by the Spring Attack Feat (such as initiating a grapple, attempting a disarm, etc. . . ).

If Thicket of Blades generates AoOs based on the attacker's movement, then Spring Attack would still negate them.
