Improved Multiweapon Fighting [General]
Prerequisites
Dex 15, three or more arms, Multiweapon Fighting, base attack bonus +9.

Benefit
In addition to the single extra attack a creature gets with each extra weapon from Multiweapon Fighting, it gets a second attack with each extra weapon, albeit at a -5 penalty.

Normal
With only Multiweapon Fighting, a creater can only get a single attack with each extra weapon.

Special
This feat replaces the Improved Two-Weapon Fighting feat for creatures with more than two arms.

What does this MEAN exactly? Does that mean that, if you ever have improved two weapon fighting but also have more than two arms, you lose the TWF tree and get MWF instead? What if you already have 4 arms, and would recieve TWF as a bonus feat (Ranger, ect.)

What if you have 4 arms, and select ITWF as a fighter bonus feat? Do you automatically get IMWF then? What if said fighter has an 18 dex but only a +8 BAB bonus? (Thus meeting the req for ITWF but not IMWF)

I think it means that instead of a creature with more than two arms taking TWF, it would take Multiweapon Fighting.

I can't see those feats stacking after all.

It means Thri-Kreen rangers get MWF instead of TWF. It means that creatures w/out 3+ arms do not qualify for TWF, only MWF. And you must still meet the prereqs (except in the case of ranger).

It is also worth noting that the TWF tree was reworked in 3.5. In 3.0 the prereqs were +9 BAB for ITWF, +15 for GTWF, and that is what IMWF and GMWF are lining up with (they haven't been printed in 3.5 to the best of my knowledge). It wouldn't cause significant imbalance to move them up to the 3.5 break points of +6 and +11, respectively.

That is true, the ELH is 3.0, but I thought the SRD was updated to 3.5 in every thing. And it has them at the same levels. I must admit though that I thought they were at +6 and +11 before I posted. So it might not be a bad houserule.

I dont know about that. I certaintly wouldnt complain if my DM decided to institute such a house rule considering my love for 4 armed races, but it seems to me that MWF is inherently more powerfull than TWF so that perhapes the diffrence is warranted. I was unaware that TWF used to have the same requierments though.
