The feat Touch of Golden Ice (BoED) forces all evil creatures to Fort save or be ravaged by Golden Ice. Are the saves and damage caused by that feat direct out of the book, or does the saving throw scale with the feat owner's Con score affect the saving throw like poisons.

Ravages are stated to work similarly to poisons, so I have a little dissention in my group.

A monk in our group has that, as I recall the save/damage is flat out of the book with no scaling for character level or stats.

I think it's a Fort save DC 14 iirc, I don't recall the effect as it has never worked for him and he's considering re-training it to something else.

Yeah, DC 14. I don't think it goes up at all, unfortunately.

I also can't see it not working at all. If a monk lands three blows in a round, doesn't the evil creature have to make three saving throws? Somebody's going to roll a one eventually.

You would think that eventually it would work statistacally speaking, which is the only reason he's kept it this long I think. Hope springs eternal.

That is the math of the feat.

Eventually they roll a natural 1, and you get a lot of attacks so they have to roll a lot of times.

The higher level you are the more attacks you get.

At 15th level a Monk gets 5 in a flurry. That means once every four rounds, you should Golden Ice them, not counting Haste and other similar things.
