If a monk or rogue tumbles past/through enemies... do they get AoO's?? if they tumbled through the square i would think they would... how does this affect the success of the tumble?? whats an appropriate difficulty for this??

im new to DMing in 3.5 (old 2nd ed vet)... sorry if these questions seem dumb... thanks

If you successfully tumble, you avoid any AoOs for movement... that's why you do it.

The description of the tumble skill is on page 84 of the 3.5 Player's Handbook -- the first chart there shows the difficulties of the things you can do with the tumble skill.

It's DC 15 to tumble through threatened squares without provoking attacks of opportunity, and you have to check separately for each opponent the character tumbles past.

It's DC 25 to tumble through occupied squares without provoking attacks of opportunity. Again, you check for each opponent, and if you fail you stop before entering the occupied square and you provoke an AoO.
