Two Weapon Defense with Shield Bash Questions [Archive] - Wizards Community

So I have been working on a character build where the character uses a shield as part of his two weapon fighting using improved shield bash feat. But i was looking at using two weapon defense feats to augment his defensive abilities. The problem that i ran into is that two weapon defense is described as a "Shield" bonus, so i am having trouble figuring out if this "shield" bonus will stack with the AC bonus he is getting for his actual shield.

So will this feat stack with him using a shield as one of the two weapons? or should i not bother with the feat?

07-20-07, 04:55 PM As it is a specified "shield" bonus; they would not stack.
Same game mechanic reason that 2 shield's "shield bonus" don't stack.
