GruunTheLegend 11-22-07, 09:21 PM	ok so im trying to make a character with an epic charge. im doing good so far im a minataur with powerful charge, greater powerful charge, frightful charge, multiattack, improved natural attack, and a level in barbarian so i can rage. is there anymore i can do for this character??:D
runestar 11-22-07, 11:03 PM	Power attack, leap attack, shock trooper. Minotaur does not qualify for multiattack though.
dman11235 11-29-07, 03:48 AM	Visit the CharOp boards for more advice. This is more their territory than here. Make sure to take the barbarian alternate class feature Lion Totem from Complete Champion (if possible). It gets you pounce.

Bison, because with the leap attack and you using the headbutt for your charge weapon, yer basically doing the phycho crusher. Also, M. Bison is the most cheesy and ironic names this guy could ever have. Minotaur Bison....:rofl:
kjenks 11-29-07, 11:39 AM	Pounce. You need pounce. Take the Leadership feat and get your cohort to cast a Lion's Charge spell on you (Spell Compendium). Or take a few levels of ranger and cast it on yourself. Consider a Lesser Metamagic Rod of Quicken.
Eerongal 11-29-07, 12:07 PM	if possible, (i.e. your DM allows) take levels of warhulk so that you get 'whirlwind' (it's not technically whirlwind, but it works the same) as an attack action, then get pounce (lion totem barbarian), get as much reach as you can (hello spiked chain) and charge in, pounce, and whirlwind everyone within your reach.
ragentx 11-29-07, 12:13 PM	Power attack, leap attack, shock trooper. Minotaur does not qualify for multiattack though. I agree with Runestar here. PA, Leap Attack, Shock trooper rock! Just add in Power Lunge (2X'S) and Combat Brute (makes use of the Shock trooper/PA att) carries all the multipliers to the second round. Add pounce (alt class ability for Barb and you devastate anything in 2 rounds) of course you have no AC. Magical item...Rhino Hide Amrmor out of DMG...adds 2d6 dmg on a charge. Do not forget to get an amulet of natural weapons and enchant your Horns to the max. Maybe other can help here...I cannot find it again but their is a feat that lets you throw a weapon during a charge and still get your charge attack, Add 3 Lv's of Hulking Hurler and this feat along with pounce and combat brute...OUCH!!!

This would qualify you for the feat Head Long Rush: you obtain AO's from pretty much everyone but you do 2 x's damage on a charge. add in Power Lunge, Leap Att, Shock Trooper, Combat Brute, imp crit 4 Lv Barb / 2 Lv Fighter / 10 Lv Disciple of Dispater (BOVD) (if allowed) / 2 Lv of ? and pick a weapon with a low crit range to begin using PRC Dispater if you have a scimitar and feat imp crit you get a threatened crit range of around 5-20 if I remeber right...been a while but its as low as hell. add pounce from altr class barb and you are kicking ass....

As opposed to the minotaurs' base of 4d6+1.5xstr? for a max of 2d6+1.5xstr (of a race that is 4 points less strength)? I fail to see how adding a +1x multiplier is better than having double (x2) as a base.
