Any thoughts/discussion on using the Versatile Spellcaster feat (rDr), to convert two 0 level spells into a 1st level spell?

Eh, why not? Nothing special about Cantrips.

On the subject of Versatile Spellcaster...

Could you use 4 cantrips for the day to cast a single 2nd level spell (4 x 0 lvl = 2 x 1st Level, 2 x 1st lvl = 1 x 2nd level) or simliar (4 x 1st level = 1 x 3rd level)?

In the feat description, it doesn't say anything about changing the casting time or whether it takes up more actions, so I assume that you can, but could anyone clarify?

This doesn't work. Versatile spellcaster takes two spell slots and converts them into a higher-level spell. It never converts them into a higher-level spell slot, which could be fed back into VS.

Still, this feat rocks.
