Can he therefore sacrifice 2 level 0 slots to cast level 1 spells thereby increasing his effectiveness greatly? Seems amazing for low level characters. |

Yea, he can always burn two slots of N-1 to cast one spell of N level (where N is his highest spell level he can cast or less.) For a spontaneous caster, this is a must have feat. |

I was just wondering if any errata came out that excluded 0 level slots from being sacrificed due to the HUGE power level jump from level 0 to level 1. I was not expecting there to be, i just chose to double check. |

You're welcome :) I was just wondering if any errata came out that excluded 0 level slots from being sacrificed due to the HUGE power level jump from level 0 to level 1. The jump in power from almost any spell level to the next is huge. Plus, there are at least three quite useful 0th-level spells: Detect Magic, Light, and Prestidigitation. |
| Nezkrul04-02-08, 09:11 PM | the crazy part is... can you metamagic the spell you cast via spell slot sacrificing, since that one doesn't take a slot? same goes for the arcane fusion and greater arcane fusion spells, but thats a diff discussion. |
