| Fuchs05-19-07, 09:08 AM | Hi I'm not sure how "Vexing Flanker" (PHBII) works. Is your flanking bonus +6 or +4 (stacking with normal bonus or subsume it)? |
| CantripN05-19-07, 09:37 AM | Subsumes it. |
| Fuchs05-19-07, 09:56 AM | And Why? It is not a named bonus, and I didn't read the word "instead" in the feat description. |
| CantripN05-19-07, 10:05 AM | Benefit: Gain a +4 Bonus. Normal: Gain a +2 Bonus. |
| Fuchs05-19-07, 10:09 AM | Benefit: Gain a +4 Bonus. Normal: Gain a +2 Bonus. By this logic you can't combine combat expertise (PHB p.92) with fighting defensively. Is that correct? (Benefit: Combat Expertise Normal: Fight Defensively) |
| CantripN05-19-07, 10:12 AM | By a literal reading, true. But as far as I know, you can indeed stack them... A character without the Combat Expertise feat can fight defensively ... Dunno. It's used as +4 by all people, including the CO boards... |

I just read pounce (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/glossary&term=Glossary_dnd_pounce&alpha=P) and came to the conclusion that you can take a "normal" charge attack and then a full-round attack, because one attack is part of a charge... but I don't think this is intended. |
