A player mentioned that in one of his (many) books he ran across something where the PC's could "train" in various tactics to gain a mechanical advantage in combat.

They said its like feats but you don't have to take them??

They are hoping to just say they "Train" and start getting +'s to attack and damage.

I want to find this feature and need to know which book and where to look..

Any help??
