Would it be overpowered to have a feat that lets you stack Monk and Rogue LV

for Sneak Attack Damage?

Well, concidering that there is already a feat that stacks monk and rogue, and SA is not included it that, yes, when compared to that feat. Though I don't think it would be. I mean, you're already going to do straight rogue anyway aside from the monk levels.

Its in Complete Adventurer if you go buy the short decription on page 104 of Ascetic Rogue you get SA, if you go by the text on 106 it doesn't mention it. Ask your DM about it. it is a very lame feat with out the sneak attack. we been maxing class combo feats at 4 levels crossover for some time, it has cut way back on the cheese factor.

Text rumps table. But i think the feat would have been a lot more reasonable if that wasn't the case this time. If SA stacked on both sides (as well as everything else) it wouldn't be any more powerful the Swift Hunter or Daring outlaw. And would actually make you choose either rogue or monk, instead of going hands down rogue.

the only real problem is the same as daring outlaw, min levels of rogue and then max out. 1/Rogue and 19/monk thats why we went a max of 4 level crossover.

It does have very few prereqs. Heck, it doesn't even require monk levels. I think it should require SA 2d6 and Ki Strike (magic). That puts it at level 9 that yoou take it minimum. Maybe require Flurry of Blows and still mind or something to make only 3 levels in monk required.

improved unarmed strike and sneak attack is all you need

Exactly. All a rogue needs to do is take two feats for monk unarmed damage, and an added bonus. No class levels needed.
