Martial Soulknife
You are an expert fighter with your soulknife, focusing more on your martial prowess than your psychic powers.
Prerequesits: Shape Mind Blade class feature, proficiency with all martial weapons and heavy armor.
Benefit:Your Soulknife levels and your Fighter levels stack when determining the enhancement bonus and your Mindblade enhancement class feature. Thus A fighter 5/soulknife 6 with this feat would have a +2 mindblade with available enhancements up to a +2 bonus, just as a soulknife of equal level would. You must still select from the table presented on page 29 of the expanded psionics handbook when picking a special ability for your soulknife.
Furthermore your soulknife and fighter levels stack when determening your effective fighter level for feats that have Weapon Focus as a prerequsite, such as weapon specialization. A character with this feat may select Mind Blade as a weapon when selecting a feat that requires you to pick a specific weapon, such as improved critical hit.
Special: A fighter may select this as one of his fighter bonus feats.

Asthetic Soulknife
You are a dedicated warrior using only your mind blade for protection, you shun other weapon and armor to focus purely on yourself and your mind blade.
Prerequisites: Mind Blade class feature, Still Mind class feature.
Benefit: Your monk and soulknife levels stack when determening your flurry of blows penalty, and number of additional attacks, as well as your unarmed AC and Ki Strike class feature granted from the monk class. Furthermore you may use your mindblade to make a flurry of blows attack, just as a special monk weapon, and your mind blade uses your Ki Strike class feature when determening if you bypass damage reduction.
Your monk and soulknife levels also stack when determening your mind blades enhancement bonus and your Mind Blade Enhancement class feature. You must still use the table on page 29 of the Expanded Psionics handbook to select the special abilities of your mindblade, however you may add Ki Focus to that list.
You may multiclass freely between monk and soulknife. You still face the normal XP penalties for having multiple classes more than one level apart.

I love the soulkinfe class, but I find it extremely restricting and I never use the psychic strike class feature. But the idea of manifesting a blade (or blades) made of pure psychic energy that you can never be stripped of, and that grow in power as you do, is extremely appealing to me. These are two classes I think the mindblade would mesh very well with, if you didn't have to give up so much (maindly the enhancement bonuses) to multiclass with them.

So I guess what I'm asking is, PEACH, and would you allow, or consider with perhaps some revision these feats? I was thinking about presenting them to my DM next time I make a new character, I think he'ed go for it as hes also a fan of soulknifes.

I also think theres other classes soulkinfe could mesh well with, rogue or swashbuckler especially.

Well, I don't think either of them look overpowered. That, and you're combining an already weak class with two other weak classes, so I don't think you have to worry too much about breaking the game. ;)

All in all, I'd say go with them!

Thats kind of what I was thinking, exept the monk part. But seeing as you're going to focus on mindblade instead of unarmed a few monk class features won't do anything.
