Would you let Circle Magic work for Intensify Spell [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-07-08, 12:39 PM I just went Epic with my Evoker Red Wizard of Thay. I have Circle magic working for me, and some nice apprentices pumping me up. I'm going to ask my DM if I can take Intensify Spell Epic feat, and use Circle Magic as a Virtual feat to meet the Empower and Maximize requirements.

Since if you use Circle bonus levels you can turn those levels into Empower, Maximize or Heighten spell.

For those who are board fear-mongers, and that is not everyone. Than just assume this is not a power game where everyone is playing to break the rules, but just to have a good time.

01-07-08, 11:37 PM Pretty much you use the bonus levels to put the metamagics on such as if you have 8 levels and you cast a lvl 3 spell you could use 2 bonus levels to make your 3 level spell maximize or 3 in the case of Empower to any spell. You don't have to pick how you use the bonus levels when you are in circle. You add them on when you cast a spell.
