Topic. My character likes to take doors down by the hinges, and to put locks back where they go. Would you use DD and OL, respectively, or something else? And what would the DC be to put them back together?

I'm pretty sure this is somewhere, I just can't find it...

My character likes to take doors down by the hinges, and to put locks back where they go. Would you use DD and OL, respectively, or something else?It doesn't take any particular skill to take a door down by its hinges. It just takes time and a little brute force.

If the door is exceptional and has recessed hinges or something, then I'd say Disable Device would be the appropriate skill to use.

I don't know what you mean by "put locks back where they go," so I'll take a pass on that issue.

See hinges.

I mean, if you had a chest that you unlocked, to relock it.

Relocking a chest would probably either require more use of Open Lock or an appropriate Craft skill if you had to break the lock to open it. Although you might also look at Disable Device's rules for bypassing traps. Maybe if your Open Lock check is high enough you can figure out how to "bypass" it, closing it after yourself so that it re-locks.
