X-posting since noone in char-op is replying, what feat choice? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Essentially what I am needing is some good feat selections for a warlock. I currently have Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, And Spell Penetration. Next level (6) will probably take Empower spell like ability. After that I have no idea.

Any thoughts?

04-20-07, 10:51 PM Improved Initiative is a solid feat for any character. If you're having problems with your Use Magic Device skill being too low, take Skill Focus (Use Magic Device). However, an even better option is the Shape Soulmeld (Mage Spectacles) feat from Magic of Incarnum, which gives +4 UMD, Spellcraft and Decipher Script, plus you can take another feat (Extra Essentia) to double these bonuses if you'd like.

Other very good feats for a blasting warlock are Psionic Shot, Greater Psionic Shot and Psionic Meditation from the Expanded Psionics Handbook and System Reference Document (http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/psionicFeats.htm).

You look like you're building toward a master blaster warlock; look up Warlock Theme Builds in particular, but all the threads are useful.
