Famed for it's promise of haven and protection, it counts many a goodly being in its flock. Its walls risen high to shelter those within and its senteries ever vegelent agaist any threat. Its central cone-like tower shining as a radiant beacan to the world as a promise for better times ahead. No evil deed is found within these halls and no evil shall it let go unpunished. Several among the Fortress are those who would be called "Redeemed Villians" and thus it tempers its blade in the fires of mercy and cools its metal in the order of Depate. But now you come to us as some sort of follower of the light? HAH! I don't believe it. You'd do best to take the bounty off my head. It will do you no good to see me fall when your people are torn apart limb from limb. You want to play with me boy? You aint got what it takes to be one of the big boys." Jacob sits back down on his throne. "I have shown him the same respect he has shown me, but . . . for you Thasis the Neutral I shall send a messanger out to request he come back to talk." Jacob motions for a messanger to be sent and one of the Guards runs off to get Thasis the Evil. "I do this for you and you alone Thasis the Nuetral." ---------------------------------------- For the record I find the "New Lord stuff and "Surrender Now" stuff (when converted to IC) is kinda funny, but that is OOC. IC it is a huge insult and Jacob is made to not take that kind of stuff. I tried the Quiet approch with Gabriel and the Order and they are on the Last page. Jacov will not stand by. He is made to welcome all (Good, Evil, Nuetral), but not to take insults. Also to clear a few things up. Jacob hates Sargantanas now. He never truely liked the idea of becoming Undead, but was willing to do that to prove himslef to Stormhand (the dead King). Now that that is gone and he went through the "enlightenment" stage he hates Sargantanas for the murders he has commited. Not because he is Undead or Evil, but because of his actions. |

I think this is as good a place as any to try and explain this again. 7th level characters are going to be on their own next round. We're going to create topics specifically for the IFWG to be played in. While we were originally thinking that we could have RP-only and statted characters together, we've been thinking on it and there will be a lot less "Hey, is that legal?" calls if we completely seperate them. In this round, even the statted characters seem to have the ability to teleport anywhere they please (shown by characters popping into just about any guild they please without needing to travel). We don't want next round to mimic that. Having the RP-only characters able to teleport and make alliances with other guilds or possibly NPCs just doesn't work. Your RP-only characters aren't gone, but are limited to the non-IFWG topics. That's pretty much any current guild. They will all operate under the principle of Freedom of Destiny. You can check the Map of the Planes for a nice explaination of FoD. They'll be allowed to show up at Orcy's Arena and cheer on the fighters and we'll from time to time have battles between non-IFWG characters with various character building rules (so you might be able to stat your RP only character the way s/he should be statted). Do I make any sort of sense when I ramble on like this? |
