Breath Stealer (Su): If Asphyxion bites a foe, the victim must make an immediate Fortitude saving throw (DC 65) or be unable to draw breath. A victim so stricken takes 3 points of Constitution damage every round after a failed saving throw until he dies. The Constitution damage can only be halted with powerful magic, such as a wish or miracle spell. The Constitution damage resulting from breath stealer may only be regained with a greater restoration spell cast upon hallowed ground. Each application of greater restoration removes 1 point of Constitution damage. Improved Evasion (Ex): This ability works like evasion, except that Asphyxion still takes no damage on a successful Reflex saving throw against attacks henceforth he takes only half damage on a failed save. Death Attack: If Asphyxion studies his victim for 3 rounds and then makes a sneak attack with a melee weapon that successfully deals damage, the sneak attack has the additional effect of possibly either paralyzing or killing the target (Asphyxion’s choice). While studying the victim, Asphyxion can undertake other actions so long as his attention stays focused on the target and the target does not detect him or recognize him as an enemy. If the victim of such an attack fails a Fortitude save (DC 43) against the kill effect, she dies. If the saving throw fails against the paralysis effect, the victim is rendered helpless and unable to act for 1d6 rounds plus 20 rounds. If the victim’s saving throw succeeds, the attack is just a normal sneak attack. Once Asphyxion has completed the 3 rounds of study, he must make the death attack within the next 3 rounds. Hide in Plain Sight (Su): Asphyxion can use the Hide skill even while being observed. As long as he is within 10 feet of some sort of shadow, he can hide himself from view in the open without having anything to actually hide behind. Improved Grab (Ex): If Asphyxion hits with a claw, he deals normal damage and attempts to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. Asphyxion can use this ability on Large and smaller creatures. Asphyxion has the option to conduct the grapple normally, or simply use his claw to hold the opponent. Each successful grapple check it makes during successive rounds automatically deals standard claw damage. Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex): Asphyxion can not be flanked. Opportunist (Ex): Once per round, Asphyxion can make an attack of opportunity against an opponent who has just been struck for damage in melee by another character. This attack counts as the Asphyxion’s attack of opportunity for that round. Regeneration (Ex): Asphyxion takes normal damage from epic good or lawful weapons. Semi-Divine: Although not a true deity, Asphyxion has some god-like abilities. He receives maximum hit points per hit die, does not automatically fail on an attack roll or saving throw roll of 1, and my grant spells to his worshipers. Asphyxion can grant spells from the cleric spells list and from the death, evil, and darkness domains. Slippery Mind (Ex): If Asphyxion is affected by an enchantment spell or effect and fails his saving throw, he can attempt it again 1 round later at the same DC. Spell-Like Abilities: At will—animate dead, blasphemy, blur, charm person, create undead, darkness, deeper darkness, desecrate, detect chaos, detect good, detect law, detect magic, fear, fireball, greater dispel magic, hold person, greater invisibility, magic circle against good, major image, produce flame, polymorph, pyrotechnics, read magic, scrying, suggestion, symbol of death, telekinesis, greater teleport (self plus 1,000 pounds), unholy aura, unholy blight, unhallow, wall of fire; 1/day—fire storm, hellball (epic spell), implosion, meteor swarm. Caster level 51st; save DC 19 + spell level. Summon Infernal (Sp): Asphyxion can summon four standard infernals once per day. Uncanny Dodge (Ex): Asphyxion can react to danger before her senses would normally allow him to do so. He retains his Dexterity bonus to AC even if caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. Assassin Spells Known (7/6/6/6; Save DC = 19 + spell level): 1st -- detect poison, ghost sound, obscuring mist, true strike. 2nd – cat’s grace, darkness, invisibility, pass without trace; 3rd – deep slumber, deeper darkness, false life, misdirection; 4th – clairaudience/clairvoyance, dimension door, freedom of movement, greater invisibility. |

| thasis03-31-06, 04:48 PM | Very pro. I'm bored lately, I'll create some new abominations of pure evil for the guild. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest03-31-06, 04:50 PM | sounds good. we could possibly finish the Zah'Nar, though i doubt Asphyxion would like another being encroaching on his territory... |
| thasis03-31-06, 04:58 PM | Meh... keep them in seperate cages ;) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest03-31-06, 10:19 PM | hahaha true well we could work on some nice minions...or something else...i dunno |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest03-31-06, 10:53 PM | Spread the Word: The Reckoning Begins.... Seek Others. Gather an alliance. Burn, Kill, Destroy. |
| thasis04-01-06, 02:59 AM | No point in destroying what isn't there. The good guys are waiting untill round 3 to jump into the action once again. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-01-06, 09:52 AM | we could always establish spies in their ranks before hand also...we need to find more recruits... |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-01-06, 12:36 PM | Karn is making an item for our Guild which will test each and every member; loyalty is rewarded, though If you are unloyal in any way, shape, or form- you shall suffer the consiquences. @ Thasis: "Go forth, seek recruits....we need to bolster our ranks." |
| Wilds04-01-06, 12:43 PM | No point in destroying what isn't there. The good guys are waiting untill round 3 to jump into the action once again. They are? Awsome, I thought they had left |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-01-06, 01:02 PM | They are? Awsome, I thought they had left They're scavenging a pitiful existance... |
| thasis04-01-06, 03:31 PM | Well it's realy much point for the good-guys to do anything untill the new round. We've pretty much conquered this round... twice :P Thasis the Evil looks at the creature who has commanded him, "I take no such orders from mortals. Do not attempt to command me for that will be your greatest mistake". Thasis then strides out of the halls. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-01-06, 03:34 PM | "It was no command, merely a suggestion of oppurtunity." |
| thasis04-01-06, 07:04 PM | "Then do not come over so commanding. Let's not let this confusion lead to a breaking after such a short oppurtunity of meeting though. Things need accomplishment. I will suggest one thing at this momment. We need to expand our resources and defenses. There is no point in inflitirating abandoned guilds and empty halls" |
| thasis04-01-06, 07:44 PM | This is the general outline of my book I'm writing. Anything here that might intrest the guild? Also any suggestions on some cool new bump-in-the-nights and ghoulies? Deathwood (a forest of epic proportions, which is also the main adventuring location of the players I DM) is called Deathwood for a reason ;) |

| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-02-06, 07:49 PM | Death-Gasms! DEATHWOOD! Now that that's over with... I'll get right on to creating something... as soon as my brain restarts. I have like NO ideas for undead creatures... :( how bout something like an undead devil or demon? like a lichfiend but more like a Ghoul-fiend hybrid? something to use as assassin-minions of Asphyxion? |
| redhase04-02-06, 08:31 PM | <I> |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-02-06, 08:49 PM | Look in the Spell Compendium, there are a few good assassin spells |
| Wilds04-02-06, 08:52 PM | can you start with the assassin PrC? thought special requirements for prestige classes have to be done ingame |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-02-06, 08:55 PM | it depends, something with a natural sneak attack may work if not, go rogue then assassin |
| redhase04-02-06, 09:29 PM | <I> |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-02-06, 09:43 PM | ask Wilds, im not much on spells... |
| redhase04-02-06, 09:59 PM | <I> |
| Wilds04-02-06, 10:22 PM | Hide in Plain Sight is definatly not 1st level, 30 min per spell level is crazy and add in the fact that hide in plain sight is good, needs to be reworked the first one, dead end, i beleive is in a dragon issue, somehting close to it at least. same idea |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-02-06, 10:25 PM | i thought i saw something like it before.... |

| Lady Rolindin04-03-06, 02:31 PM | first lstmesay I don't want to join this guild, but rather I am making a referance list for all the guilds from a to z. do you want your current creation,s listed on the list. so other players can look them up. any thing on the list would be listed by the creaters name, guild and under spell, class, or lore: (lore includes storeis, things like Redhase's slave chart, or Silmariean's Half Elven stories or his songs of the elves.) if you do then say so and i will enclude them and the creation (spells, classes, lore will be put by your name.) you allready have a class from the last goue in the library that will be added to your name. all names will be listed form a to z and the total number of everthing listed by your name first. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-03-06, 03:39 PM | Just Add Asphyxion under my name but also give credit to a friend of mine named BlackDirge |
| Lady Rolindin04-03-06, 06:01 PM | Kobold Ur Priest classes: Asphyxion {credit to BlackDirge}: Character thread 4 Magic items: feats; skills; spells: Lore; M Moriok Mephidross Classes: Servant of the Blackened Throne: The Guild of Ultimate Evil: Revolution, page 4 coa library Magic items: Skills: Feats: lore: I fixed the two of them yours is seperate for Moriok mephidross. I know from going through the guild's you have alot more things posted in different guilds. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-03-06, 06:28 PM | looks good |
| thasis04-03-06, 07:50 PM | Is Moriok Mephidross still around, or did he deciede to die on us. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-03-06, 07:57 PM | I'm not sure, actually I see him on the list sometimes, though I havent seen a post from him lately |
| thasis04-04-06, 02:37 PM | He's probally lurking untill the next round, or untill more members. I do that to an extent. I only post if I need to realy, or if something sparks my intrest (Which seems to be alot lately :P) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-04-06, 03:07 PM | Well, if you're in the mood to make some undead servants if Asphyxion, we can start those... |
| thasis04-04-06, 06:43 PM | Yep, after I'm finished with my computer I'll spark some creation. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-04-06, 07:13 PM | Yep, after I'm finished with my computer I'll spark some creation. are you fixin your comp? oh joy...lol im liking the idea of a ghoul-fiend kinda thing...maybe something to use as assassins...you know, like the Groundlings were dwarf/badger hybrids? we should make some type of Palrethee-Ghoul things.. Palrethee are demons from the Fiend Folio I think, but dont quote me. |
| thasis04-04-06, 08:48 PM | I have the fiend folio so I'll check. And no I'm not fixing my computer. I've become suddenly obssessed with posting on as many message boards as I can. I find the Wizards one kinnda boring lately as I find so little worth replying to except in the Guild House, and even in the Guild House there is little worth reponding to cause realy, very few people are posting. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-04-06, 08:59 PM | Lol im in the same fix, i post on here & my Day of Defeat clan site a lot so, what do you think of making our little minions? |
| thasis04-04-06, 10:38 PM | I'm having a D&D-Shut-Down lately. I realy need to get back into the hook of making D&D stuff. It's been such a long time since I've created much. I've been writing poetry mostly lately. I'll see what I can, but no promises. I work best when I'm at complete exhaustion, when it's dark, and when the world sleeps. So before I go to bed I'll stat out some wicked **** if I can. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-04-06, 10:59 PM | sounds good...i can test/help with them tomorrow if you want g'nite my friend im off to bed too |
| redhase04-05-06, 05:37 PM | <I> |

| thasis04-08-06, 03:11 PM | Ur_Priest, here is one of the monsters I said I would make. Enjoy! Viceniara Medium Undead [Exterplanar] Hit Dice: 12d12 (78 HP) Initiative: +2 (Dex) Speed: 50ft Armor Class: 22 (+10 Natural +2 Dex), Flat-Footed 20, Touch 12 Base Attack/Grapple: +3/+9 Full Attack: Bite +9 melee(1d6+6) and Antenna +6 melee (Decay) and 2 Claws +6 melee (1d6+3) Attacks: Antenna +9 melee (Decay) or Claw +9 melee (1d6+6) or Bite +9 (1d6+6) Space/Reach: 5ft/5ft Special Attacks: Antenna of Decay, Spell-Like Abilities, and Vile Bite. Special Qualities: DR10/Magic, Fast Healing 3, and Undead Traits Saves: Fort +4, Ref +6, Will +15 Abilities: Str 22, Dex 15, Con -, Int 4, Wis 25, Cha 5 Skills: Spot +14 and Listen +15 Feats: Power Attack, Cleave, and Multi-Attack Environment: Astral Plane Organization: Solitary, Pair, Pack (3-10) Challenge Rating: ? Treasure: - Alignment: Neutral Evil Advancement: 7-12 (Medium), 13+ (Large) A tall strange being stands in front of you. It looks like a hound-creature who stands on his back-legs like a man would. He has a vaguely man-like body but covered in thin black fur and shaped similar to that of a hound. The creature's face is the most chilling part of the being. It looks like a cross between a hound and a beetle. Sprouting out of his chin are two long antenna that end in sharp points that drip with a foul green substance. The creatures fur is dripping with blood and ripped out at certain places. Bones stick out of the skin and deep bleeding gashes cover the body. Certain parts of the creatures body seem to be literally rotting off. Many years ago a once powerful empire of beings called the Viceniara dwelt in a fabulous Kingdom. The Kingdom had dwelt in the Astral Plane for the many years trading with humans from the Material Plane and Angels from Celestia. When a plague went through the human empire, human traders brang it over to the Viceniara. The Viceniara, not used to disease from the Material Plane, started to die quickly. The plague became an epidemic wiping out all of the one great empire that was the Viceniara. The Viceniara didn't die off though. A powerful Viceniara mage made a deal with Nerull himself. Nerull granted the Viceniara a state of undeath, and immortality, in return for service. The leader quickly made the deal as to save his people. The Viceniara were then spell-like abilities by the God of Death, and undeath. After a many long years of servitude to the God of Death the Viceniara rebelled. This lead to a great civil war between those who still followed Nerull and those who attempted to rebel. After the civil war most of the undead empire that the Viceniara had became had crumbled and most of the Viceniara were destroyed. A few hundred of these beings even are in existence to this day. The remnants now stalk the Astral Plane killing beings in their insanity that has developed over the hundreds of years of their existence. Viceniara stand about 8ft tall. They resemble were-hounds with the heads of bugs. Their body is decaying with age. They kill mercilessly in habits they developed during their servitude to the death god Nerull. Viceniara don't speak any language, though they have minimal understandings of Common. Combat Viceniara usually attempt to sneak up on their target catching them by surprise and then use their Antenna of Decay so they get an advantage in combat. They then will proceed to bite their opponent further infecting them. Antenna of Decay (Su): If a Viceniara makes a successful strike with his Antenna the opponent must make a fortitude save (DC19) or take 1d3 constitution drain. If he fails the save he must make another check every round until he either makes a successful save or dies. If the creature dies through this method he returns as a Wight 1d3 days later. Spell-Like Abilities: At Will - Darkness, Death Knell, Desecrate, Inflict Minor Wounds, and Summon Undead II. 3/day - Antimate Dead, Bestow Curse, Cure Serious Wounds, Deeper Darkness and Summon Undead III. 1/day - Inflict Critical Wounds and Summon Undead IV. The Viceniara cast the spell-like abilities as a 12th level Sorcerer. The base DC for the abilities is 7 + the spell level. Tainted Bite (Su): If a Viceniara makes a successful bite attack then the opponent must make a fortitude save (DC19) or take 1d4 strength damage. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-08-06, 03:33 PM | Thanks bro! I also grabbed the Vampiric Glabrezu & Half-Fiend Astral Deva from WoTC's page too.....omfg it's like Evil-Gasm 5000 @ my place right now...we've got the most insane campaign going on..... |
| thasis04-08-06, 03:45 PM | Cool! I wish I was their playing. My campaign right now has 9 evil PC's at the momment. They have formed a gang in the city of Deathport (it's size is 1000 x New York City) called The Bent Mugs of Death (as in a drinking mug...). Their trying to level up to lv7 as fast as possible so they can get access to their Prc (as so they can specilize) and then we're going to slow things down and focus more on storyline. Atleast that's the plan. As for my monster, what do you think balance and flavor-wise? And, I'm currently working on another creature called the Necronite. I think you'll like ;). Should be finished in the next few minutes (or maybe 10?). |
| thasis04-08-06, 03:51 PM | Here is the Necronite. Enjoy! Necronite Medium Undead Hit Dice: 5d12+15 (47 HP) Initiative: +10 (+6 Dex, +4 Improved Initiative) Speed: 40ft Armor Class: 20 (+6 Dex, +4 Natural), Flat-Footed 14, Touch 16 Base Attack/Grapple: +2/+6 Full Attack: +1 Shortsword +7 melee (1d6+6) or x2 Claws +4 melee (1d6+4) Attacks: +1 Shortsword +7 melee (1d6+3) or x2 Claws +4 melee (1d6+4) Space/Reach: 5ft/5ft Special Attacks: Necronite Blast and Spell-Like Abilities Special Qualities: Blindsight 60ft, Darkvision 60ft, DR5/Magic, Light-Sensitivity, and SR17. Saves: Fort +1, Ref +7, Will +7 Abilities: Str 18, Dex 22, Con -, Int 13, Wis 16, Cha 19 Skills: Escape Artist +14, Intimidate +12, and Move Silently +14, Feats: Combat Expertise, Improved Initiative, and x5 Toughness (Bonus) Environment: Underground Organization: Solitary, Pair, or Group (3-7) Challenge Rating: 6 Treasure: Standard Alignment: Neutral Evil Advancement: By Character Level Level Adjustment: +5 Standing in front of you is a humanoid figure. His skin however glows with a green hue and his skin seems decaying on the spot. Blood drips from many gashes across his chest and his socketless eyes glow with a green creepy glow. Necronites are a perversion of humanity. They were created when a necromancer's assistant got to much exposure to an unstable crystal found on the Negative Energy Plane, called Necronite Crystals. Through exposure to the Necronite Crystal, the original Necronites were created. The crystal's energy slowly killed them. They then rose as Necronites only a while after. Necronites are similar to zombies in appearance, however they are faster, intelligent, and imbued with necromantic powers from the crystal. Necronites, through the taint of the Necronite crystals, have a warped sense of reality. They believe that all living creatures are abominations and that they should be exterminated. Unfournetly they are commonly forced into servitude by divine necromancers. This always furthers their hate toward living beings. The end goal of a Necronite is to elimante all living beings. They believe that if this is accomplished the world will enter a permenant state of undeath bliss. Whether this is true or not, the Necronites have firm beliefs. As for their past-life, Necronites have no memory what-so-ever of their existince before becoming a Necronite. The pure negative energy absorbed into their body eliminated their memories and replaced them with a hate for things related to life and positive energy. Necronites on average stand about 6-6'5 and weigh from 150-220lb. They speak common, abyssal, and undercommon. Combat The first course of action for a Necronite is to hit their opponent with A Necronite Blast. They then will attempt to use their abilities to force their enemy into fear and then attack them with the Shortsword as the enemy flees. Necronite Blast (Su)[/B]: Three times per day a Necronite can send of blast of necromantic energy at an opponent. If the Necronite makes a successful ranged touch attack the opponent takes 5d6 negative energy damage and 1d3 temporary constitution damage unless they can make a succesfull fortitude save (DC16) in which case they take half damage and no constitution damage. The Necronotie blast has a range of 50ft. Any creatures killed through a Necronites Necronite Blast have a %50 chance to return as a Necronite 1d4 days after it's death. [I]Spell-Like Abilities: At Will - Detect Magic, Cause Fear, Deathwatch, Inflict Light Wounds, and Summon Undead I (Libris Mortis). 3/day - Darkness, Deathknell, Desecrate, Inflict Moderate Wounds, and Summon Undead II (Libris Mortis). 1/day - Contagion, Inflict Serious Wounds, and Summon Undead III (Libris Mortis). These spells are cast as a 5th level sorcerer. The base DC for the spell is DC14 + the spell level. |

| thasis04-09-06, 12:33 AM | Check this bastard out ;) Blood Hexornate Medium Undead Hit Dice: 7d12 (45 HP) Initiative: +1 Speed: 20ft Armour Class: 19 (-1 Dex, +10 Natural), Flatfooted 19, Touch 9 Base Attack/Grapple: +3/+5 Attacks: Bite +5 melee and 2 claws +0 Damage: Bite 1d8+2 and 2 claws 1d6+1 Space/Reach: 5ft/5ft Special Attacks: Blood Hex, Spell-Like Abilities Special Qualities: Fast Healing 4, SR20, and Turn Resistiance 3 Saves: Fort +2, Ref +1, Will +7 Abilities: Str 15, Dex 8, Con -, Int 10, Wis 14, Cha 20 Skills: Concentration +15, Spellcraft +10 Feats: Power Attack, Cleave, and Sunder Environment: Any Land or Underground Organization: Solitary Challenge Rating: 7 Treasure: - Alignment: Chaotic Evil Advancement: By Character Class Level Adjustment: - A tall humanoid figure stands in front of you. He apears to have a general humanoid form. The creature is so drenched in blood though that little can be seen of facial or bodily features. Only the general shape of the creature can be made out of the blood-soaked body. Blood Hexornates are undead creatures originaly created by drow divine necromancers in the Underdark. The original concept was to create a being that would eliminate the competition of the arcane spellcasters. It was also created as a fear instilling creature. The appearance of a Blood Hexornate was supposed to create fear in any living being who came near it. The method of creation for the Blood Hexornates was to take corpses of various criminals, butcher them into a fashion that would cause fear to all who saw them, and then infuse unholy magical energies into body. The first batch of Blood Hexornates were created to weak for the tastes of the clerics so they destroyed all of them. Only a few remain in existince to this day. Not discouraged by the initial failure they created a second batch, this time dealing directly with the blood, thinking that mixing blood and a double dosage of unholy energy would create a better result. They were right. It created a arcane-destroyer. However there was an unstability in the casting somehere causing the creatures to have sentinence. When brought into their tortured existince the Blood Hexornates rebelled against their masters killing them. Many Blood Hexornates wander about the Underdark to this day, and many have also managed to escape to the surface. Their tortured body and existiance causes them great pain and hatred for the living. Blood Hexornates stand about 8ft tall, weigh 200lb, and speak undercommon. Combat Blood Hexornates will attempt to use their Blood Hex against opponents at the beggining of combat to give themselves an unfair advantage. They will then continue to use their powers to destroy their opponent as quickly as possible. Blood Hex (Su): Three times per day a Blood Hexornate can force one living creature within 50ft to make a successful will save (DC18) or take 1d4 points of temporary intelligence damage. Control Blood (Su): Three times per day a Blood Hexornate can cause some of the blood from his body to seperate itself from the Blood Hexornate and form a seperate entity. This creature looks like a humanoid composed of blood. This creature has the statistics of a Lv5 Human Fighter. A weapon composed of crystalized blood is also formed with the creature (statistics of a longsword). The creature stays animate until destroyed or dispelled by the Blood Hexornate. Spell-Like Abilities: At Will - Detect Magic, Touch of Fatigue, Protection from Good, Protection from Law, Obscuring Mist, Shocking Grasp, Cause Fear, and Ray of Enfeeblement. 3/day - See Invisiblity, Ghoul Touch, Scare, and Vamparic Touch. 1/day - Bestow Curse, Enervation, and Fear. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 01:13 AM | omfg....Thasis...i'm speechless but seriously..keep em coming...maybe once we have a consolidated list, we can start up an online campaign |
| thasis04-09-06, 01:40 AM | All four monsters I've posted I've created today. I've also created two more today but I don't think I'll have time to post them. I can pop out anywhere from 0-10 monsters a day. Hell even more sometimes if I'm motivated and given the time ;) An online campaign aye... *drools*. Sounds good :D |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 02:06 AM | up to you bro if/when we get the Prestige class made, and a list of the new creatures, we can make an online campaign |
| thasis04-09-06, 02:16 AM | We can start he campaign without the monsters. We can just slowly update the monsters to adapt into the campaign as we go. Same with Prc's. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 02:39 AM | ok, i at least want to get a basic idea for the PrC though, if thats ok |
| thasis04-09-06, 01:52 PM | Sounds good. Give me an idea for the Prc and I can work on it for yah if yah want. |
| thasis04-09-06, 02:23 PM | Here's another beast in my Hexornate series: Death Hexornate Medium Undead Hit Dice: 7d12 (45 HP) Initiative: +4 Speed: 40ft Armour Class: 24 (+4 Dex, +10 Natural) Base Attack/Grapple: +3/+5 Attacks: Bite +5 and 2 Claws -2 Damage: Bite 1d8+2 and 2 Claws 1d6+1 Space/Reach: 5ft/5ft Special Attacks: Death Hex, Death Attack, and Sneak Attack +4d6 Special Qualities: Fast Healing 4, SR18 Saves: Fort +2, Ref +6, Will +5 Abilities: Str 14, Dex 18, Con -, Int 15, Wis 10, Cha 18 Skills: Move Silently +14, Hide +14, Spot +10, Listen +10 Feats: Dodge, Mobility, and Spring Attack Environment: Any Land or Underground Organization: Solitary Challenge Rating: 7 Treasure: - Alignment: Lawful, Evil Advancement: By Character Level Level Adjustment: Standing in front of you is a disgusting human-looking figure. He looks like a human, but his face has deep gashes all over it, and their are various bleeding stab wounds all across his back and chest. There are also various stiches covering his body. Created by the Drow during the same time Blood Hexornates were created the Death Hexornates were corpses of captured or killed assassins who were infused with necromantic energies. Unlike the Blood Hexornate the Drow used much more stable energies. Through carefuly infusing negative energy into the body of the dead assassin they brought the assassin into a state of undeath, with granted powers. Death Hexornates currently work as freelance mercenaries for the Drow within their own political struggles. Death Hexornates stand about 7ft tall and weigh 150lb. Combat Death Hexornates don't make themselves noticed unless they have a good reason to. They prefer to sneak up on their opponents, follow them, and deal one deadly blow. If things turn against them they are not afraid to flee. Death Hex (Sp) - One per day a Death Hexornate can make a living creature within 50ft make a fortitude save (DC20) be instantly disinigrated, as the Disinigrate spell. Death Attack - If a Death Hexornate studies his victim for 3 rounds and then makes a sneak attack with a melee weapon that successfully deals damage, the sneak attack has the additional effect of possibly either paralyzing or killing the target (assassin’s choice). While studying the victim, the assassin can undertake other actions so long as his attention stays focused on the target and the target does not detect the assassin or recognize the assassin as an enemy. If the victim of such an attack fails a Fortitude save (DC 17) against the kill effect, she dies. If the saving throw fails against the paralysis effect, the victim is rendered helpless and unable to act for 1d6+7. If the victim’s saving throw succeeds, the attack is just a normal sneak attack. Once the Death Hexornate has completed the 3 rounds of study, he must make the death attack within the next 3 rounds. If a death attack is attempted and fails (the victim makes her save) or if the Death Hexornate does not launch the attack within 3 rounds of completing the study, 3 new rounds of study are required before he can attempt another death attack. Sneak Attack - A Death Hexornate can sneak attack as a 7th level rogue. |

| redhase04-09-06, 07:05 PM | gone |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 07:09 PM | as for the PrC, Im leaning somewhat towards something along the lines of a Mortal Hunter...possibly mixed with Soul Eater or something of the sort |
| redhase04-09-06, 07:15 PM | <I> |
| thasis04-09-06, 08:31 PM | I like both the ideas... as for the Sin Prc's, they're on the hold. They're just an idea that I think would be cool to explore later. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 08:33 PM | ok, want me to do a write-up of ideas for the level benefits? |
| thasis04-09-06, 08:34 PM | Sure, sounds good. I'm actualy working on a cool class myself (core class). The Necrologist: Basically a scholor who studies undead and accesses special powers related to undeath and the undead. Sounds intressting? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 08:35 PM | yeah its cool |
| thasis04-09-06, 08:38 PM | So let's get the right-up of ideas. My basic idea is that at 1st level you can take a part of the energy of a living creature that you kill and turn it into energy called Soul Points. You have a max amount of soul points you can have in your body based off your level. You also gain one power that uses up SP everytime you use it. As you advance you get more powers. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 08:58 PM | 1 power per lvl....immense possibilities...look into warlock invoc's |
| redhase04-09-06, 09:07 PM | gone so am I |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 09:11 PM | uh...ok off to Thasis' site I go. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 09:13 PM | Also, Red...please remove your creatures from my page, it is only open to Thasis' undead & our upcoming CoreClass at the moment. sorry. |
| thasis04-09-06, 09:14 PM | Not necessarily one power per level. More one power ever so often in an organized fashion. It'd have to be worked out. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 09:16 PM | hmmm i just wanted to give him some versatility, but yeah-its cool |
| thasis04-09-06, 10:24 PM | Well we could give him a power at every level, we'd just have to balance the abilities. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-09-06, 10:42 PM | ok good, good when i get home tomorrow from school, ill help out- feel free to think about some ideas...i advise looking into the Warlock,Soul Eater, and Mortal Hunter classes... |
| thasis04-09-06, 11:26 PM | I have a PDF of BoVD so I'll see what I can. Also, here's another ghoulie for yah'all: Kerhail Medium Undead Hit Dice: 5d12 (32 HP) Initiative: +2 Speed: 50ft Armor Class: 20 (+2 Dex, +10 Natural) Base Attack/Grapple: +2/+9 Attacks: Bite +9 and 4 Metal Claws +4 Damage: Bite 1d6+7 and 4 Metal Claws 1d6+3 Space/Reach: 5ft/5ft Special Attacks: Spell-Like Abilities Special Qualities: DR10/ Bludgeoning, Undead Traits Saves: Fort +1, Ref +3, Will +6 Abilities: Str 25, Dex 14, Con -, Int 6, Wis 15, Cha 19 Skills: Listen +6, Spot +6 Feats: Power Attack and Cleave Environment: Any Land or Underground Organization: Solitary Challenge Rating: 5 Treasure: Standard Alignment: Always Neutral Evil Advancement: By Character Class Level Adjustment: - Standing in front of you is a small-disfigured child-like figure. The creature has the upper body of a human child but its lower body is melded into a machine-like metal spider-walking machine. The upper child body is disfigured with various cuts on the body and parts of the flesh decaying. It's decaying mouth has a sort of grin on it. Kerhail are created on rare cases when a child is killed in a machinery related accident. They posses child-like intelligence but the desire to kill, as strong as any serial killer. The transition between death and undeath has caused the child to be strongly attached to death. This has led them to create death among others as to experiment with it. Kerhail are treasured among necromancers as simple-minded warriors who are easily stimulated and convinced to do things with the prospect of death. Kerhail speak minimal common. Combat Kerhail attack with their first four legs that have metal claws on the end. They will attempt to claw a person to death. They sometimes use their minor spell-like abilities that were granted to them upon the entrance to undeath. Spell-Like Abilities: At Will - Acid Splash, Touch of Fatigue, and Mage Armor. 1/day - Scare. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-10-06, 03:10 PM | Been watching Toy Story I take it? |
| Lady Rolindin04-10-06, 03:59 PM | Kobold_Ur_Priest I know you asked me If I would help with a class you and Thasis are working on. The resson my writeings come out so hard to understand is because i write what I think at the time what is on my mind. the reason my classes come out good is because I do this. 1. write up class 2. rewright 3. rewright 4. rewright 6. rewright this is to fix anything that needs to be fixed. takes me longer than most people to right up a class. rewight rewright, is a rule i use to prefect a class. I don't have the time when posting. I am working on 3 classes at this time, Gem Lore master Sorcerer Gem Lore master Cleric Earth wizard (wizards that use the magic that is in everything, rocks, plants, dirt, trees, air, water, fire) got the ideal from the Dragon Lance books and going through the dead guilds still at the same time. I am doing this while trying to find the time between taking care of my 5 month daughter and 9 year old son. I can try to help with your class, but rewrighting is always a good ideal. then post the class on the character thread to have others look at it, once you rewrightten so you think it's blanced a few times then post the class . Have other's tear it apart and then fix it again. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-10-06, 07:12 PM | oh, cool...well we've got it somewhat worked out so dont worry peace. |
| thasis04-10-06, 08:02 PM | Necrologist is well on it's way. I'm also re-doing alot of my monsters as I realized their are errors within the design, and the flavor text flattly sucks. I need to do a redux on all of them. |
| Lady Rolindin04-10-06, 08:06 PM | what I maen by rewrite, when i find the time to go back to college and start again. the same princible foe any english paper, have some one else look over the class and tell you what they see wrong with it. then fix it and have some one else look at the class. do this 3 or more times. as for some of Thasis creatures I d have some questions about them from what I see. some little twiking on them. then they would be no question any one could ask about the creature. just my view though. If you or someone else from these boards see something wronge with my creations then say so and i will look at them again and fix them if it's not something that kills the item, class, or creture. I do see litte things with thasis creatures though or have questions about some things. the question that comes to my mind on this class Kerhail is this. what kind of machinery are you talking about? the creature could fit in any time period with out specifying the type of machinery. is it a type where in the middle ages they get trampled by horses and the plow blade cuts them up, or is it more mordern. Like the kind we use today. all of your write ups have good writting flavor thasis, just add more discriptions to things such as machinery accendent. it's a time issue thing, what time peroid are you talking about. what is the con, even if you make a class like Freddy krouger or jason, they would need con stats. just my view |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-10-06, 09:00 PM | his creatures are not classes they are races ...just to let you know and as for the machinery....think clockwork horror |
| Lady Rolindin04-10-06, 09:13 PM | races or classes need the same thing, they need to have disceptions of thing. to me machinery acident could mean any thing from they were killed in the future and their soul traveled to this time peroid, or they were magled by horses and a plow. thasis just need to describe machinery accident and what con's the races have. if it is a clockwork horror accident then say so, describe machinery accident. |
| thasis04-10-06, 09:22 PM | The version of the monsters on this thread are out-dated as they are practically completly diffrent except for the last monster in which you speak of. That monster I need to do an update on my official thread for that creature (as I have already did a redux with my other monsters on their main threads). I just havn't gotten around to the last creature yet. |
| thasis04-10-06, 09:33 PM | Ok, I just updated all of the monsters on this thread to their current and proper incarnation. For most of them I expanded on the storyline, and for the Blood and Death Hexornate I completly changed their description. Their essentialy a diffrent monster with the same statistics ;) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-10-06, 10:18 PM | :D I think I'm gonna have you make a Kerhail to serve Shadow & Cerberus |
| thasis04-11-06, 12:23 AM | A Kerhail or three ;) They're statistically fine, I just need to modify their description and creation method a bit to be more plausible. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-11-06, 03:09 PM | Ok sounds good, maybe we can make special ones....gifted by Asphyxion.. who knows ah- before i forget, how's the Soul Hunter? |
| thasis04-11-06, 05:44 PM | I didn't get home untill late last night so I didn't have time to work on anything D&D related. As for this morning? I woke up, went to school, and I just walked into the door. Now I have to go off to work, but when I get back I'll do some more pondering. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-11-06, 06:32 PM | ok hope to hear from ya soon and fix my thing on our site plz |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-11-06, 08:35 PM | Ranks edited, Wilds...hit me up when you're on |
| redhase04-12-06, 07:29 PM | Kolbold Ur Priest Also, Red...please remove your creatures from my page, it is only open to Thasis' undead & our upcoming CoreClass at the moment. sorry. [ you can not do this action it is favortism, and any member can post any magic spell, items, creation, races, or classes. You can not give favortism to one player. that statment is favortism, and is against the coc rules. and further more you can not ban any player in your guild, and if any other player wishes to join this guild all the have to say is I want to join as the wizo's have stated before. and they are in the guild. the player aligemnt must match the guilds aligment is the only thing and I only play evil characters. that is the proublem and you owe me a applogy. no favortism in any guild. I am in this guild because i said i wanted to be so Ia m in this guild: wizo rules. I want to help this guild and can post any creation i want, any player can post any creations. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-12-06, 07:59 PM | Red God Damn It You Are ******* Me Off. It Isnt Favoritism, There Are Only 3 Members In My Guild. You Are Not One Of Them....and I Am Not Recruiting Anyone Else. So Stop With These Annoying Posts Or Just Flat Out Go To Hell. It's Me, Thasis, And Wilds Only! |
| thasis04-12-06, 08:41 PM | Kobold, he does have a point. And as much as I agree with you in many ways, the way your going it's going to get you banned. In the CoC you are not allowed to restrict posting (unless it's off the context of the guild) and your not allowed to restrict membership of people. Though your character could be mean to his character In-Game as long as it's not done in a flaming sort of way, and you'd have to give a good In-Game reason why your character is being mean. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-12-06, 09:16 PM | im not RESTRICTING him, im just telling him how it is, i created the guild for certain people to use, ( ie, you, me, and the others who were for the original evil plan) but when people come in whining and interjecting things which dont have anything to do with the discussion at hand, i get ****** Thasis, we have to talk on some type of messenger, do you have anything?....it's important and may shed some light on my recent...outbursts |
| WizO_Cat04-12-06, 10:12 PM | You can't restrict membership. If anyone wants to join the foundation or guild, they're in the guild. A guild can't be selective for only certain people to use. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-12-06, 10:36 PM | im not restricting them from JOINING THE GUILD, merely from posting things which do not need to be posted here. and where it says we arent taking anymore members, it's for the founding positions, which are original members of older guilds who made this one |
| thasis04-13-06, 01:18 AM | Technically Redhase can become a member of this guild. But if I'm correct you can limit him from posting his monsters if it goes directly against the guild, which I believe it is at the time because the Guild is specifically attempting on the creation of the Soul Hunter and my Complete Libris Mortis. Redhase, to solve problems, why don't you post your monsters on the Guild of Ultimate Evil. I have no problem with that and if I get the time I'll review them. Ur_Priest, contact me at my email dungeonmaster2847@hotmail.com I don't use messanger that often, but I might be on late at nights (around now and past sometimes). Actualy I should be on in a few minutes. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-13-06, 02:24 AM | thats fine Thasis, thats exactly what i was saying though...some people just dont understand it |
| thasis04-13-06, 02:38 AM | Ok, I'm assuming this is worked out for both parties? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-13-06, 02:46 AM | sure |
| redhase04-13-06, 04:31 PM | limiting other guild members is a voliation of the coc, and it is favoristm. I posted a undead sin creature. this is with in guild rules. And i made craetions for this guild. You can not limet only certain to post their creations of undead creations. do the wozo's need to say it a gain. no favortism and posting is encoulded in that. I am not a him, I am female and refer to me as a felmale. Any player can jion this guild and you can not limit or stop any one from jioning. all the have to say Is I want to join and they are in the guild. This is not a specail guild for certain players only. any one can join and post their undead creations. this is true fact not flaming. I trying to get you to undersatnd this, you can not limit guild members from posting, any member can post. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-13-06, 04:46 PM | first of, shut the hell up and listen: - NO ONE IS RESTRICTED FROM JOINING, even you-much to my displeasure - THEY ARE HOWEVER, limited from posting any creations not sanctioned by Thasis or myself, because this guild is for THE SOUL HUNTER & associated products & THE COMPLETE LIBRIS MORTIS ONLY - I can honestly say I dont give a damn about anything else you have to say-those rules are my rules, deal with it. Flamer. |
| redhase04-13-06, 05:07 PM | I am being nice to you and not using foul launge, I expect the same from you. Kolbold ur priest first of, shut the hell up and listen: THEY ARE HOWEVER, limited from posting any creations not sanctioned by Thasis or myself, because this guild is for THE SOUL HUNTER & associated products & THE COMPLETE LIBRIS MORTIS ONLY This rule has to be posted onn the first bo of the thread and is not, guild scan not make up the rules as they go along. I am a member of this guild weither you like it or not. and my undead sin creature is based of the LM. that is what your looking for and it is based of the LM. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-13-06, 05:23 PM | you may be a member, but i dont give a damn, your creature has NOTHING to do with the COMPLETE LIBRIS MORTIS or SOUL HUNTER & its affiliated works because both of those belong to Thasis and myself |
| thasis04-13-06, 08:15 PM | Redhase, save us the problems and post it at the GoUE or at my necromancy guild, it'll save future problems. And BTW, I'm neutrul on this, so don't get me involved in a personal rivalry. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-13-06, 08:32 PM | im not involving you- just saying that we are both partners in an ongoing project which involves both of our own designs |
| thasis04-13-06, 08:57 PM | Yes, I also agree with the concept of this guild be focussed around the Soul Hunter and the Complete Libris Mortis. If I'm correct that was one of the original intentions. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-13-06, 10:35 PM | Yes, I also agree with the concept of this guild be focussed around the Soul Hunter and the Complete Libris Mortis. If I'm correct that was one of the original intentions. lol it was the only idea im gonna get the guild remade soon & have this one deleted thanks to Red |
| thasis04-14-06, 03:05 AM | Just change the starting post to more reacurately state our goals, as people didn't get it the first time. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-14-06, 03:08 AM | DO NOT POST ANY CREATIONS UNLESS SANCTIONED FOR USE IN THE COMPLETE LIBRIS MORTIS OR SOUL HUNTER'S AFFILIATED WORKINGS! Big & bold should do it. |
| thasis04-17-06, 01:02 AM | As for the Soul Hunter, I have the ideas jumbling around in my head, but they're not down on paper yet, mainly cause I havn't been home all weekand. For the most part I've been living at my friends places only comming home for sleep, and sometimes not even that. :D I'll see what I can do though... I'm a slow worker sometimes though. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-17-06, 01:40 AM | No prob bro, ill wait as long as we can make the finished product ( the character(demigod???)) into something pretty damn good, which, i know we will do |
| thasis04-17-06, 02:39 AM | Hellz yes, our creative (almost identical) trained minds combined together will create some of the most devestating creatures/NPC's/etc eva. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-17-06, 03:30 AM | Hellz yes, our creative (almost identical) trained minds combined together will create some of the most devestating creatures/NPC's/etc eva. yeah bro...the things gonna be sick so did we determine what race we wanna do and how we're doing those variants? --REMEMBER-- they ALL tie together; race,classes,equipment...all of it will be specific for this beast...maybe we can do an Artifact for him as well |
| thasis04-17-06, 04:05 AM | How bout we make him a Skygge Elder... that'd be so ****ing cool... :D |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-17-06, 08:43 AM | as long as we get the classes made & equipment made, that might work....or else we'll think of something lethal |
| thasis04-17-06, 03:03 PM | My other idea is an Atropol from the ELH. Those guys... are ****ed... and awsome... and OMG creepy... one of my favorite epic monsters. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-17-06, 04:04 PM | BIG DEAD BABY? hahaha w00t! that's actually kinda cool.... :P or we coulda been real pricks and used a Hecatoncheires....100 attacks per round.... :OMG! ....plus all the other cool stuff he has.... :hoppingma but i think an Atropal or Atropal Scion would work (scion's just a fully advanced atropal, isnt it? i forgot) |
| thasis04-17-06, 08:10 PM | Atropol Scion is in all essence a weaker version of the Atropol orginaly presented in the Epic Level Handbook. The Hecatoncheires is also a good choice. I feel like something so epicly powerful so either would be nice. I think the dead baby would have a creepier effect personally, but that's just my opinion. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-17-06, 08:31 PM | i was just thinkin of the Heca because it had so many attacks, but yes, lets go with : Advanced Paragon Atropal (Ranger 10/Mortal Hunter 10/Soul Eater 10/Soul Hunter 20) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-17-06, 08:32 PM | big dead baby it is |
| jagggar04-17-06, 09:10 PM | i was just thinkin of the Heca because it had so many attacks, but yes, lets go with : Advanced Paragon Atropal (Ranger 10/Mortal Hunter 10/Soul Eater 10/Soul Hunter 20) Unholy crap! Are you actually gunna have people face that thing?!? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-17-06, 09:18 PM | Unholy crap! Are you actually gunna have people face that thing?!? actually yes....yes i am.... :evillaugh :plotting: :dancin: of course, the BoVD PrC's are going to be variants to tie in witht the Soul Hunter Core Class' abilities |
| thasis04-17-06, 11:39 PM | To bad we won't be able to use that in the IFGW... in our personal campaing though *grins evily*... the things we create. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-18-06, 12:29 AM | yeah too bad...once we get it done, we can get the campaign setup |
| thasis04-18-06, 12:44 AM | We could have like cult set up around the planes devoted to worshiping this bastard. It'd be... wicked... beyond... all... zap? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-18-06, 03:15 PM | ay.....a cult WOULD be sweet...i was thinkin about something along those lines |
| thasis04-18-06, 05:54 PM | When my brother comes home and kicks me off the computer (or when I get off the computer if my brother decides not to kick me off) then I'll start working on the Soul Hunter. I'm feeling... creative *evil grins* |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-18-06, 08:00 PM | IDEA! The Cult could be formed of the first few Skygge SoulFormed minions, created by our little buddy!!!!! |
| thasis04-18-06, 08:28 PM | How bout bad guy was the first Soul Hunter. His SoulForm Skygge went off, formed a cult, and started an order of Soul Hunters. The trade spread and now cults are set up around the planes, along with various freelance Soul Hunters. Sounds good? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-18-06, 09:00 PM | damn you bro...stop reading my mind or i swear im comin to Canada & having you officially adopted lol |
| thasis04-18-06, 09:02 PM | Hellz yes, party all day, party all night. And work on D&D on the side ;) Great minds think alike aye :D |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-18-06, 09:19 PM | hahahaha perfect, just perfect...dont forget those H00|<3rz, lol |
| thasis04-18-06, 09:30 PM | We can never forget those H00|<3rz ;) :D :P Mmm... I have so many ideas lately for D&D. I can't stop spewing them out of my brain. If only I had more time *shakes fist* |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-18-06, 09:40 PM | time = money = H00|<3rz / D&D  |
| thasis04-18-06, 09:44 PM | H00|<3rz who play D&D? That'd be awsome! Hire them to play D&D with us ;) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-18-06, 09:56 PM | H00|<3rz + D&D = a pair of happy brothers, lol |
| thasis04-18-06, 10:04 PM | Hellz yes. We'd be in the hood aye ;) Anwayz, back to D&D... without the h00I<3rz... :P |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-18-06, 10:09 PM | H00|<3rz..it's whats for D&D... |
| thasis04-19-06, 12:32 AM | I ment to say without the hookerz :P |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-19-06, 03:54 PM | lmao,....no you didnt H00|<3rz. thats so going in my sig someday :P |
| thasis04-19-06, 04:09 PM | Maybe I was thinking of H00|<3rz... but I can't help it :P Anywayz, back to D&D for real this time... |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-19-06, 08:21 PM | alright back to the game- SoH coming along good yet? |
| thasis04-19-06, 08:47 PM | Well I just came home from DMing a very... complicated campaign. Long story short, they spent 1 hour discussing how they wanted to raid an orc camp, mainly cause they felt they were going to get their ass kicked (even though the people are far less powerful then them, they don't seem to know that though). Enough about my D&D game though, I'll see what I can do tonight. I've got all the ideas... just need to transcribe them to paper. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-19-06, 08:50 PM | how was the camp set up and what were the PCs? |
| thasis04-20-06, 12:20 AM | Well at the time their are for PC's: Human Lv3 Wilder Human Lv2 Bard/1 Fighter Human Lv2 Fighter (Now Deceased) Human Lv1 Druid/Lv1 Sorcerer Human Lv2 Alchemist (My friends home-brewed class) Human Lv3 Cleric (Going Mystic Theurage) Human Lv2 Rogue Animated Object (Leather Armor) - This guy was original a Duerger Monk, but he was slain by another party member when doing a deal with a Necromancer. His soul is now inhabiting a suit of armor untill we can make his old body undead. They're heading through the Valley of Zar on a mission to kill an orc chieftens. After dealing with a small squad of orc, and three Lv3 Orc Fighters (Aka Bezerkers) they found out information where the first out of 2 orc chieftens is located. They headed there and hide behind some VERY large cliff/rocks. The rogue snuck through the orc encampent (22 tents, aprox 44 orcs) and drew a Circle of Alchemy for the Alchemist and they also set up some other Alchemical circles (the Alchemist needs to have an Alchemy circle to cast things). Now they have a plan for killing the Orc Chieften (who's tent is located 100ft away from the normal encampment). Let's just say it involves the Alchemist class (which takes like so long to caculate how his abilities work that no wonder it took an hour) and alot of daring. Took them an hour to figure out. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-20-06, 12:39 AM | IDEA! as for our creature in the making: Advanced Paragon Atropal Alchemist 20/Soul Eater 10/Mortal Hunter 10/Soul Hunter 20 Final Decision. can we do it? |
| thasis04-20-06, 02:23 AM | Well the concept for the Alchemist is very complicated, and isn't realy made for D&D. The only reason I allow it in my campaign is because I've personally overseen what it can do and I deemed it not that powerful. My friend has the disk anwayz with all the stuff in it. But if yah realy want to I can get my friend to email me the class and I can post it. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-20-06, 03:23 PM | hmm...damn..no...nevermind...i just liked the idea so what's the final product gonna be? lets work on that, and get the actual creature down w/ whatever classes we can, and then just add the Soul Hunter on when we finish it. maybe instead of doing a HUGE list of powers for him, lets go with the ones i gave you, and make a feat which allows him to create additional powers through the use of his Soul Points BASIC LAYOUT: Advanced Paragon Atropal Mortal Hunter Variant 10 Soul Eater Variant 10 Soul Hunter 20 additions? |
| thasis04-20-06, 07:20 PM | That's pretty strong by normal D&D standards so I'm pretty sure that's good enough. I like it... as for the class production, I have a dance tonight to go to so I won't be able to do any work. Sorry... :( |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-20-06, 08:02 PM | no prob bro how bout we throw another 10 lvl PrC on to make it an even 50? |
| thasis04-21-06, 01:22 AM | Don't forget the HD aye... |
| jagggar04-21-06, 10:55 AM | Well, assuming you're advancing it fully, so far it's: 100 Racial HD 10 Mortal Hunter (V) 10 Soul Eater (V) 20 Soul Hunter 140 Total HD CR I'm less sure about. The atropal itself is undead, but it's in a group of creatures that are all considered outsiders. Other CR Modifiers +15 paragon +10 Mortal Hunter (V) +10 Soul Eater (V) +20 Soul Hunter +55 CR adjustment Advanced Undead CR 38 +55 = 93 Advanced Outsder CR 47 +55 = 102 |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-21-06, 03:22 PM | Well, assuming you're advancing it fully, so far it's: 100 Racial HD 10 Mortal Hunter (V) 10 Soul Eater (V) 20 Soul Hunter 140 Total HD CR I'm less sure about. | thasis04-21-06, 07:54 PM | I'm pretty sure that'd work. Are we going to include the HD in the level, or are we going to do the HD + Lv10 Skygge Soulformed? |
| thasis04-21-06, 09:06 PM | I'm almost completly finished my Necrologist class (and I have it posted up). I have about 9 Deadlocks (their powers, similiar to Invocations, but based around undead-like stuff), so I need to add some Deadlocks. After that's completed I can get back to working on the Soul Hunter. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-21-06, 10:38 PM | well, whatever give the bigger CR will work lvl 20 Soulformed Skygge Soul Hunters..... and i JUST got home from SILENT HILL...lets make him some sort of deity so he can control everything within his domains, as in mold buildings into new ones, warp creatures, blah blah blah ass kicking....blah blah blah :D |
| thasis04-22-06, 12:34 AM | I'll have to review up on the information for creaiting Dieties and the such. We should give him a his own Demi-Plane to. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-22-06, 01:24 AM | I'll have to review up on the information for creaiting Dieties and the such. We should give him a his own Demi-Plane to. perfect let me know when something's able to be statted out |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-22-06, 12:28 PM | I just got the BEST idea for the demiplane! Basically a flying Ship of Chaos - crewed by Soulformed Skygges and other Soulformed beings of course but have the demiplane INSIDE the ship's hull...like below the main deck, it opens into the demiplane, but never actually leaves the ship, you know what i mean? |
| thasis04-22-06, 04:10 PM | Portable flying demi-plane. I like the idea alot. I think we should do that. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-22-06, 05:01 PM | sweet i think i can probably modify the stats for a ship, just add planar traits,etc |
| thasis04-22-06, 06:05 PM | Hey, I'm working on the Soul Hunter right now. I got the base rules and base fluff text set up. Now I just need to do the extra fluff text and right up the powers. I'm basing the rules system on what we based but I'm just tweaking the system for gaining Soul Points to balance things out. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-22-06, 06:17 PM | ok-then the variants wont be too hard-just tie em in with the SP system instead of Blood Points/etc we can do this by this weekend---i feel it |
| thasis04-22-06, 06:45 PM | The class is done, I just need to type of the Powers and then everythings done! :D w00t w00t! |
| thasis04-22-06, 07:24 PM | Ok, the Soul Hunter class is done and complted with powers and the such. It's ready for review. Also, Kobold_Ur_Priest, I put a thing at the beggining giving you credit for helping design the flavor and for inspiring the the powers. The link to the class is in my sig. So basically the next thing that has to be completed is the Soulform Templete. Two or three of the powers I had to put Comming Soon in the description because the Soulform Templete isn't created. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-22-06, 08:20 PM | haha bro- you still have some of the description listing it as a Necrologist, lol but otherwise- freaking amazing! cant wait to see our final: Advanced Paragon Atropal Mortal Hunter 10/Soul Eater 10/Soul Hunter 20 maybe we can even stack Necrologist 20 on there???? do you realize the pain that thing will cause?! |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-22-06, 08:20 PM | im gonna look @ it ASAP :D |
| thasis04-23-06, 04:13 AM | Now that I've gotten the base Soul Hunter out, let's see if we can stat up this god. You probally no more about it then I do so can you do that? And then I'll create up his Demi-Plane and Airship stuff. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-23-06, 01:31 PM | here's the final idea: Advanced Paragon Atropal Soul Eater 10/Mortal Hunter 10/Soul Eater 20 & as for the minions: Advanced Paragon Ghouls (Soul Eater 20) I SUCK & creature stats but i can do the ship/demiplane idea |
| thasis04-23-06, 02:55 PM | Ok, I'll create the monster... and then I have to create the Soulformed Template. That'd be useful. As for my next official project. I'm going to do that Gaurdian of the Bridge. That'll be... pwn... twice... for cash... actualy just thinking... I might scrap that. Somebody else can do that. I hate designing epic Prc's... to boring... I'm going to do something else... something that I've been playing around with for a while... I call it... WRATH No, this is not a joke. It's realy concept. I want to create a Core Class completly based around Wrath, as in the Sin. |
| jagggar04-23-06, 05:45 PM | Definately full BAB. Sounds pretty cool. Hmm, would it be possible to design base classes for all 7 deadly sins? |
| Lady Rolindin04-23-06, 07:11 PM | it seems that someone else as allready done this ideal. @ The Foundation of Terrifying Abominations coa library page 5, by ethereal wickerman what he made were Sin Summens and Sin wrath's. If you ask me Ethereal wickerman could have done a better job, some stats are missing and need to be fulled out more on them. Thasis if you can take Ethereal wickermans ideals and remake them or design your own I'm sure most of us would apperacite it. some creatures in the coa library thread are not complete like the Sin summons and Sin wraths (to me they are). take a look for your self and please redefine them please, their incomplete as is. Or make your own based on what your specks are, this seems a better ideal to me though: make your own bigger and better. |
| thasis04-23-06, 07:25 PM | My end goal is to create a Core Class for each of the Sins along with monsters, spells, feats, soulmelds, invocations, psionic powers, and prestige classes. But before I get ahead of myself I'm working on one. I call it the Apostyle of Wrath. The general concept is they have something called Wrath Points. They aquire rage points through either failing actions (ones that matter though so players can't purposely fail a ****-load of minor things to gain points) or when they take damage from an enemy. When they aquire enough Wrath Points they can expend them to activate Wrath abilities. So it's like a whole class dedicated to embracing your inner wrath. Sounds cool? And yes, I will do some Wrath monsters. But I'm probally going to start with my class. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-23-06, 08:07 PM | might want to check the: Book of Fiends....it has all 7 sins as factions and creatures for each faction.... |
| thasis04-24-06, 05:58 PM | Mmm... might be a good place for inspiration. I want to do something original though... I'll check it out... |
| jagggar04-24-06, 06:19 PM | and i JUST got home from SILENT HILL...lets make him some sort of deity so he can control everything within his domains, as in mold buildings into new ones, warp creatures, blah blah blah ass kicking....blah blah blah :D Holy :censored: that is a disturbed-disturbing movie. Or would it be UNholy :censored:? The first place Rose messed up (okay, at least 2nd place) was speeding away from the cop. If I feel the stats for the Dark Nurses coming on, mind if I post them here? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-24-06, 06:53 PM | go for it. and if you want, stat up the ash-creatures and whatever else you want from the movie...i loved it... |
| jagggar04-24-06, 07:33 PM | Now I remember the line I forgot in my last post: Colin (that was his name, right?) so got what he deserved! A pretty rough draft: Dark Nurse Medium Aberration? Hit Dice: Initiative: Speed: 20 ft ? AC: Attack: scalpel +?? melee (1d4+STR, 17-20/x2) Full Attack: scalpel +?? melee (1d4+STR, 17-20/x2) Face/Reach: 5ft/5ft Special Attacks: - Special Qualities: light drawn Saves: Abilities: Skills: Feats: Improved Critical (scalpel) --------- Climate: tainted hospitals Organization: Challenge Rating: Treasure: Alignment: Always Evil Advancement: Light Drawn: A dark nurse is drawn to attack the nearest light source. In the absense of light they remain immobile. Here's my question: That guy with the beak-like helmet: What sword could that possibly be and what feats/abilities does he need to use it? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-24-06, 07:50 PM | Here's my question: That guy with the beak-like helmet: What sword could that possibly be and what feats/abilities does he need to use it? FULL BLADE! and i would assume Monkey Grip...dont quote me though. but i want him in my campaign, lol...so f*ckin cool..... |
| jagggar04-24-06, 09:51 PM | Yeah, I was thinkin' it was about that. Let's see, what do we have? Ash-babies Torso-spitter 'Colin' Bugs Beak-helm Fullblade-wielder Dark Nurses Bad-ass barb-wire bed Am I missing any 'creatures'? Oh yes, the most evil creature there: The witch-hunters. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-24-06, 10:03 PM | nope. pretty damn good i like it so far and yes, Colin was a bastard. but soooo freakin cool @ the same time... |
| thasis04-24-06, 11:57 PM | I personaly wasn't expecting much out of Silent Hill as almost all videogame to movies **** over...but I've heard nothing but good reviews, and even my friend who hates all movies practically wants to see this. |
| jagggar04-25-06, 11:02 AM | And just how good of a horror movie is it? The last time I clearly remember being kept awake by a movie was back when I offically saw my first 'R' movie, Terminator 2, when I was 5 years of age. Well, last night I feel asleep with the light and TV on. I woke up, watched about an hour of TV while half-working on some D&D characters. I turned off the TV as an informercial tried to come on, and shut off the light. Then I laid there with thoughts of, "Ya know, if the guy with the hugeass sword came in here, I'd be screwed. But if I turned around and put my back to the window, I'd be screwed if he came from that direction. What the hell am I saying? I'd be screwed if he showed up just by virtue of him showing up." This is not a zombie splatter film. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-25-06, 07:01 PM | it's crazy....i loved it especially how the ash-side of things worked |
| lateforwork04-26-06, 06:35 PM | I totally agree.. it resolved really almost perfectly. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-26-06, 07:56 PM | I totally agree.. it resolved really almost perfectly. i thought it was cool as hell...so im gonna incorporate it into the construction of Thasis & My upcoming deity.. |
| thasis04-26-06, 08:15 PM | Oh god... just came back from a crazy ass session. At about half-way the game broke down and we just shut down and said "We're stopping untill we figure out wtf we want to do". So we sat down for an hour and decided what we're going to do. Now I have to spend so much time preparing for the next session.... or I'm going to be boycotted as DM. But I did have excuse for little to no plannning, they had no goals iniative and they gave me nothing to work on. But now that we got something worked out... w00t! |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-26-06, 08:35 PM | hahaha nice... |
| DeimosDeMalus04-29-06, 02:36 PM | A NEW GUILD CREATION: Credit To Karn Exodus(Major artifact): This is a ten-sided object of strange manufacture. At first sight it seems to be marble, yet after it it seems not at all like marble. Its colors are pure and different at each facet. Only its purpose is known: to test those who actually uphold the ideas they believe in, and tell them apart from the living after the ???? has made itself clear. In order to operate it, it is necessary to clasp it with at least one hand and gaze to the center of one face. Creatures without hands may simply gaze to the center of one face, those without sight need just clasp it and concentrate, and those without hands and eyes simply need physical contact and concentration. A creature also devoid of physical form may simply stand within 30 feet and concentrate to operate it. In those cases where a certain facet cannot be determined, the facet facing the entity is considered to be the one. In the case of bizarre entities that can englobe the item, all facets operate at once. The number of the facet concentrated upon determines the effects. Any facet: Any facet begins by scanning the user for weaknesses. There is no way to fool it; and it has no way of conveying them to anybody else. Then it does the following. I will try to be clear enough... I´m NOT inspired about it. Facet 1: Tests: whether the character is actually willing to start over with a new alignment. Fooled by: May not be fooled. Attacks with: four alignment-based one-word utterance spells, 60th caster level, if wronged. Rewards with: a special limitless atonement (Use your imagination...) Facet 2: Tests: whether the character has changed recently alignment. Fooled by: Mind Blank, but then does nothing. Attacks with: ten summoned tarrasques, lasting 60 rounds, also counterspelling any Wish or Miracle cast within 5 miles. Rewards with: similar regeneration (30, no bypass) as long as the item is posessed by user. Facet 3: Tests: whether the character has used his power for the goals of another alignment. Fooled by: Rary´s telepathic bond, but then does nothing. Attacks with: a storm of vengeance, and an earthquake, centered on the user, once every round by 60 rounds. Rewards with: the power to cast spells as a 30th level sorcerer (spells limited to spells known well enough by character). Facet 4: Tests: whether the character has been attacked by something of his own alignment, and why. Fooled by: undetectable alignment, but then does nothing. Attacks with: 1 summoned outsider of the character´s alignment per round, 24 HD max, stopping after 60 rounds. Rewards with: the same thing, usable once per day during a month. Facet 5: Tests: whether the character has supported something against his alignment (organizations, individuals, etc.). Fooled by: vacancy, but then does noting. Attacks with: 1 summoned great wyrm dragon of the character´s alignment/round, stopping after 60 rounds. Rewards with: the same thing, usable once per day during a month. Facet 6: Tests: whether the character has used an element against his alignment (i.e. spells, items, whatever). Fooled by: antimagic field, but then does nothing. Attacks with: an intensified Mord´s sword. Rewards with: an appropiate epic magical item of their own alignment (i. e. Chaosbreaker axe, Holy Devastator sword, Unholy despoiler sword...), toned up a bit if worthy. Facet 7: This facet will test whether the character has ever killed any of his own alignment. It will agree to twisted logics, however. It will forgive acts previous to an atonement spell, assuming the user has the same general mentality he had at the time of atoning (intentions and alignment) Any kill of that kind will cause it to attack. This facet shoots out a barrage of twinned intensified magic missiles, dealing a total of 90 points of damage per round, and will continue its barrage for ten rounds. Retrying its usage will lead to the item casting a quickened timestop before attacking every round, throwing an additional barrage every round per previous try. Should it find nothing to punish, the facet will grant the user the ability to cast a sorcerer/wizard spell of his choice, 8th level or lower, at 60th caster level, as well as paying for up to 10.000 XP per day. Facet 8: This facet will test whether the character has ever killed any outsider of his own alignment on his own will. It won´t justify in any way any such act, and will not ignore them for "greater causes". It can be foiled by a mind blank spell, but after recognizing its presence, it will avoid working for such an individual. It, however, will forgive acts previous to an atonement spell, assuming the user has the same general mentality he had at the time of atoning (intentions and alignment) Any kill of that kind will spring its vengeance. The facet immediately will shoot out a twinned, intensified, 20th level heightened delayed blast fireball right on whatever hole the user has at the moment. If there are no holes to aim at, it will instead place it right over the user´s nose, or above itself. If the user has any hand ready, it also is a good location. The blast from the ball will immediately cause 480 points of fire damage, also dealing it to a 20 foot radius spread. The main target is denied a save if he has any hole to shoot at (mouth, ears, nose...). The fire damage can and will pierce immunity, as well as any resistance but 30. Retrying this will lead the facet to use timestop, then shoot an additional delayed blast fireball at the target per previous retry. Should it find nothing to punish, it will grant its user the ability to cast Greater Planar Ally at will, but with a limit of 24 HD, and will pay for any costs involved in the spell. Facet 9: This facet will test whether the character has ever said something against his alignment. This facet allows, however, for ends justifying means, and will accept acts not immediately described by alignment. It functions as a zone of truth spell, followed by a question. As such, it is foiled by any effect that also foils a zone of truth. However, it won´t work at all if so affected. It, however, will forgive acts previous to an atonement spell, assuming the user has the same general mentality he had at the time of atoning (intentions and alignment) Any act as the ones it hates will spring a trap. The facet immediately unloads a maximized energy drain heightened to 20th level at its user. The caster level is 60, and the save DC is 54. It causes 8 negative levels on its user. If the target is an undead or construct, then it will cast a custom spell to create an adamantine anvil capable of bypassing any DR except for silver right above the user. The anvil weighs about 24.700 pounds, dealing 126d6 damage to any corporeal target. The anvil also hits incorporeal, ethereal and out of phase opponents. The anvil allows a reflex save (DC 54) for half damage. Assuming the user survived and then attempted again to use the item, it will instead cast time stop on itself, then creating an additional anvil per previous try, up to a maximum of 9 additional anvils. The damage is the same. Should it find nothing to punish, it will instead reward its user with wealth beyond imagination. Treat as a custom treasure, with about 12d10 gems and 24d6 art, as well as 3.000.000 gp divided into 75.000 pp, 750.000 gp, 7.500.000 sp, and 75.000.000 cp. Facet 10: This facet will test whether the character has ever done anything incompatible at first sight with his alignment. This facet does NOT allow for ends justifying means, and will NOT accept any act which isn´t immediately described by alignment. It can trace beyond any barrier, penetrate any protection, and neither time nor space are of any matter to its powers of knowing. Mind blank spells, divine ranks, amnesia, NOTHING can fool it. It, however, will forgive acts previous to an atonement spell, assuming the user has the same general mentality he had at the time of atoning (intentions and alignment) If it tests and finds anything it searches for, then it attacks. The facet immediately shoots a five maximized, heightened to 20th level destruction spell at its user. The caster level is 60, and the save DC is 54. Total damage is 510 per failed save, assuming the optional rule is used. Should the target be death warded, then it uses disintegrate instead, dealing similar damage. Using the facet again will result on the facet using first time stop on itself, then using an additional spell every time; this means, one destruction spell the first time, two the second, and so forth, up to a limit of 10 spells after the 10th try. If no rejected acts are found, the item will instead become a servant to the user. It can grant 10 wishes per day, and will last a month. Then it won´t accept any more commands. Should the user attempt to use the item another time, it will be warned. An additional try will result in the target being threated as untrue to its alignment. |
| thasis04-29-06, 03:41 PM | This is realy cool, but this is something that should only be saught after by like 50-100th level characters :D |
| DeimosDeMalus04-29-06, 05:19 PM | i know. it's for epic PCs..... ^_^ |
| supernerd891604-29-06, 06:00 PM | This isnt really evil, but you might want to check it out anyway Reaper (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=626538&page=1htm) probably not what your looking for, but oh well. |
| DeimosDeMalus04-29-06, 11:22 PM | it's freaking amazing...we could use one as an avater of DDM.....wanna stat a specific one out? |
| supernerd891604-29-06, 11:40 PM | Im working on the leader, vincent (ftr/8, wiz/7, rpr/10) if you want, you can help me stat the other twelve. I am making two, my brother is making one, and you could make a couple. I want them all to be at least a little different, and levels 20-23 (Vincent is the best of course, capping at 25) |
| DeimosDeMalus04-29-06, 11:47 PM | i have a perfect idea for the servant of DDM: LeShay Necromancer 20/Reaper 10 can you handle it? weilding dual scythes w/ superior 2weapon fighting,..... think you can stat him? |
| DeimosDeMalus04-30-06, 12:38 AM | or you could ignore this post & continue on your thread, lol would anyone be willing to stat it? |
| supernerd891604-30-06, 09:58 AM | Sry, I dont even know what class your talking about. btw, check reaper soon. |
| DeimosDeMalus04-30-06, 01:20 PM | how do you not know what a Necromancer is?!....you class revolves around it. LeShay Necromancer20/Reaper 10 LeShay are basically elder elves from the Epic Level Handbook who are able to weild dual weapons w/ Superior Two Weapon Fighting (normally bastard swords, but they can be shaped into any weapon they choose) picture a dual-scythe weilding Necro/Reaper..... |
| thasis04-30-06, 02:33 PM | Ah, but do you mean Necromancer as a specialized wizard, or a specific core class created on these boards, or do you mean the Dread Necromancer from Heroes of Horror? I can make a specialized one or use on created by another user, but as for Heroes of Horror? I have no way of getting it at this momment and time so that'd directly hamper my ability to create this NPC. |
| supernerd891604-30-06, 02:42 PM | I didn't use a necro as the basis of this class, i created it by my own specifics never heard of leshay |
| DeimosDeMalus04-30-06, 02:54 PM | Ah, but do you mean Necromancer as a specialized wizard, or a specific core class created on these boards, or do you mean the Dread Necromancer from Heroes of Horror? I can make a specialized one or use on created by another user, but as for Heroes of Horror? I have no way of getting it at this momment and time so that'd directly hamper my ability to create this NPC. Either Specialized Wizard or Dread Necro 20/ Reaper 10 |
| thasis04-30-06, 03:04 PM | Let's go with Specialized Wizard as I don't have Heroes of Horror nor do I know anyone who does. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-30-06, 03:46 PM | fine with me ^_^ so: Leshay Necromancer20/Necrologist20/Reaper10 weilds dual large scythes |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest04-30-06, 03:50 PM | I didn't use a necro as the basis of this class, i created it by my own specifics never heard of leshay no i meant your class is a companion class to a necromancer and how the HELL do you not know what a LeShay is? ever pick up the Epic Level Handbook???  |
| supernerd891604-30-06, 04:44 PM | nope |
| thasis04-30-06, 05:45 PM | BLAPHSMY! BLAPHSMY I SAY! Not only is the Epic Level Handbook one of the greatest books ever written (next to Libris Mortis and the Fiend Folio of course who tie for my favorite books of all time), but it provides rules for expanding your game past the diminutive levels of 1st-20th. |
| supernerd891604-30-06, 06:09 PM | :) oh well btw, how much money do you get levels 20-25? |
| supernerd891604-30-06, 06:13 PM | Hey, thasis, check out my council (bottom of reaper post) and tell me what you think |

| thasis04-30-06, 07:51 PM | Well in your class it's not a requirment to be LN, and plus this is an avatar of our truely evil god, so it's be blasphmy not to be evil. :D |
| DeimosDeMalus04-30-06, 09:01 PM | Thasis- one nitpick....he needs dual scythes...being a REAPER and all and he can use both @ once being LeShay |
| DeimosDeMalus04-30-06, 09:04 PM | ok: make her CE, and give her dual scythes make one +10 Unholy Power Energy Burst Scythe and the other +10 Anarchic Power Energy Burst Scythe then we're set....ok? |
| DeimosDeMalus04-30-06, 09:16 PM | nope how dar ye utter such a word regarding the texts of the epic levels? BLASPHEMER! HERETIC! SACRILIGIOUS TRAITOR! ok sorry, now that that's over... |
| thasis04-30-06, 09:35 PM | Changes made. Now I am going to go back to my normal trolling ;) :P |
| DeimosDeMalus04-30-06, 10:15 PM | noted. thanks bro! |
| DeimosDeMalus04-30-06, 11:18 PM | http://boards.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=9035461#post9035461 Concept Drawing for DDM near bottom, in Necropolitan's spoiler |
| thasis05-01-06, 01:21 AM | I like it, but it seems a bit off a normal Atropol. Remember, it's like a giant ****ing decaying babyish figure. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-01-06, 06:41 AM | i told him to make ours a bit more..undead fiend looking...more like a dead infernal, but thats only a concept- so tell him to change it to normal |
| jagggar05-01-06, 09:08 AM | Here's the $64,000 question: Is atropal a big part of the concept, or is it just a good place for jumping off with the stats? If the stats are just nice to steal, then you don't need to have the art redone. |
| DeimosDeMalus05-01-06, 04:42 PM | Here's the $64,000 question: Is atropal a big part of the concept, or is it just a good place for jumping off with the stats? If the stats are just nice to steal, then you don't need to have the art redone. The Atropal is the idealistic stat base, seeing as it is the dead child of a god....who has, in a sense become more than it would have in normal life.... |
| thasis05-01-06, 06:21 PM | Ok, I made a post at the artist place about the drawing, and maybe making it more Atropolish. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-01-06, 07:15 PM | ok bro, thanks- im on my way to check it out |
| thasis05-02-06, 01:24 AM | Ok, sounds good. I'll start typing up the Soul-Formed templete on Wednesday, because before wednesday I'm going to be furiously preparing the ending for the adventure I'm running on Wednesday. I'm still not finished the ending dungeon yet... |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-02-06, 06:37 AM | ok Wednesday it is...ill look foreward to it |
| thasis05-04-06, 12:55 AM | I'm currently working on creating a whole brand new Cosmology completly diffrent then anything D&D has ever seen (literly). It's going to be wicked. I don't have anything for you to see yet, but it's comming, it's comming. |
| DeimosDeMalus05-04-06, 01:01 AM | ill help if u need me bro  but i doubt a mastermind like you needs my help although you have to admit, i DO have a creatively wicked sense of humor |
| thasis05-04-06, 01:36 AM | I'm not a mastermind, though I do find myself exceptional creative and well-planned. Also your help offer is appreciated, but at this momment and time unneeded as I'm realy working out the general ideas. In a sense it's a whole new fantasy game using the d20 system (though full interchangabal between D&D). I like starting projects :D |
| jagggar05-04-06, 10:44 AM | But do you like finishing them? :P Okay, Priest, what are your thoughts on SH monsters type? I half think aberration because of gibbering mouther, but I also half think outsider because of chaos beast (both ugly and twisted monsters). Or would it be some of each? (Or maybe even an undead?) The bugs definately have the swarm subtype. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-04-06, 03:32 PM | Okay, Priest, what are your thoughts on SH monsters type? I half think aberration because of gibbering mouther, but I also half think outsider because of chaos beast (both ugly and twisted monsters). Or would it be some of each? (Or maybe even an undead?) The bugs definately have the swarm subtype. Im going to have to say: bugs = undead/swarm torso spewers = aberration ash babies = aberration helmed swordsman = undead |
| thasis05-04-06, 10:44 PM | My projects never end. There's always something that I can add on, or do better, or improve on. Always... :D Sometimes things get pretty complete though (hence most of my core-classes and prc's). |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-05-06, 03:21 PM | Sometimes things get pretty complete though (hence most of my core-classes and prc's). cant wait maybe everything will be ready this weekend...maybe |
| thasis05-05-06, 05:51 PM | If we're lucky. I'm just so overloaded lately... |
| DeimosDeMalus05-05-06, 10:29 PM | If we're lucky. I'm just so overloaded lately... true. but you keep making new projects! lol and you dont own up to your mastermind title.... |
| thasis05-05-06, 11:32 PM | I realy only have two projects (that are non-school related) and that's Deimos and my other cosmology. And my other cosmology I've put on the backburner untill I've Deimos done. I mainly ment overwhelmed by school. |
| DeimosDeMalus05-05-06, 11:52 PM | i know bro, i was joking hopefully we can finish him & w/e else is needed an maybe start on sunday cause' i have a plan in the works |
| thasis05-06-06, 01:31 AM | All depends if I'm working this weekand. |
| DeimosDeMalus05-06-06, 07:09 AM | All depends if I'm working this weekand. iight man peace. |
| thasis05-11-06, 12:48 AM | As I mentioned in the other thread, I think I'll be done by next weekand. I just need to find my PDF copy of BoVD which is kicking around SOMEWHERE... |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-11-06, 03:08 PM | lol and as I mentioned: If you cant find it, i have it as well, even though i have the actual book,... |
| DeimosDeMalus05-13-06, 03:27 PM | The Lycan & Afflicted pace wearily across the black marble floor of the Main Hall. :bump: :bump: :bump:  |
| supernerd891605-13-06, 03:39 PM | since you insist, I will take this moment to shamelessly advertise my reaper 1.1 (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=636741htm). |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-14-06, 01:59 PM | DAMN THE REAPER 1.1 TO HELL.. the first version is better. :D |
| DeimosDeMalus05-16-06, 03:41 PM | on a side note: brain damage.... whats the mechanics for calculating ECL/CR again? i seriously cannot remember & im going nuts  |
| redhase05-16-06, 07:58 PM | From the srd Challenge Rating This shows the average level of a party of adventurers for which one creature would make an encounter of moderate difficulty. Ecl is this: {level+hit die+ la}=ecl from the srd Add this number to the creature’s total Hit Dice, including class levels, to get the creature’s effective character level (ECL). so for this game. if you bring in a class that has a la of 2+ hit die, (this tells you how many levels you can have for an ecl of 7.) but the gm's have let the hit die not count, and you can bring in a la 2 +5 levels for an ecl of 7, to start the game. look at the main thread and read the back posts, the gm's have let some to the hit die not count. thats why their are palyers making were creatures, with an la of 2 or more. |
| supernerd891605-16-06, 08:18 PM | I think its just HD+LA, or else your ECL would be twice your level for the average human. btw, what don't you like about my reaper :weep: |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-16-06, 08:44 PM | I think its just HD+LA, or else your ECL would be twice your level for the average human. btw, what don't you like about my reaper :weep: considering i have a CR 78 creature designed(by Thasis) with the original Reaper concept...i believe that's grounds enough not to change it |
| supernerd891605-16-06, 08:47 PM | I see nothing wrong with you using the original reaper. Still, it would be nice if you critiqued my reaper 1.1. |
| jagggar05-16-06, 08:59 PM | ECL = level + hit dice + level adjustment The catch is that a 1 HD creature such as a human has its only hit die replaced by it's class level. Challenge Rating is in a monster's stat block. Increasing a monster's CR gets screwy and the rules are in the back of the Monster Manual. |
| DeimosDeMalus05-17-06, 03:23 PM | ECL = level + hit dice + level adjustment Thanks. i was asking cause' i might use something from the Adv.B assuming it gets approved |
| supernerd891605-17-06, 04:45 PM | Originally Posted by jagggar ECL = level + hit dice + level adjustment Thanks. I'll assume that by hit dice you mean the base creatures hit dice and not total hit dice, or else a human will have an ECL twice his character level. |

| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-17-06, 06:05 PM | ECL = Racial Hit Dice + NPC/PC Levels + Level adjustment ok got it thanks. |
| DeimosDeMalus05-18-06, 07:39 PM | So, wait what if they dont have Class Levels (but have caster levels)? Is It: LA+Racial HD (no levels/no caster level) or w/levels LA+Racial HD+Caster Levels = no levels/but have caster level and LA+Racial HD+Levels = normal right? |
| jagggar05-19-06, 01:25 PM | I'll assume that by hit dice you mean the base creatures hit dice and not total hit dice, or else a human will have an ECL twice his character level. Yeah, racial hit dice. If the monster has the ability to casts spells (and therefore a caster level), such as the Rakshasa for example, it should already be figured into the level adjustment. The same should be true for any other abilities the creature might have. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-19-06, 03:32 PM | Yeah, racial hit dice. | supernerd891605-20-06, 07:02 PM | Anyway, if you'll have, me I'm in. |
| DeimosDeMalus05-20-06, 10:58 PM | Anyway, if you'll have, me I'm in. Ok, so as of now, the up-and-coming Online Campaign shall have: DeimosDeMalus (Kobold_Ur_Priest) Thasis Supernerd8916 -anyone I'm missing?- a website will be made to house the Campaign once all details are complete, and everything is ready to go. |
| supernerd891605-21-06, 12:05 PM | Ill start work on my character once you give me the specifics (level, races, books, abilities, alignment and stuff) I might as well play a reaper, considering I haven't had a chance to yet. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-21-06, 01:48 PM | Ill start work on my character once you give me the specifics (level, races, books, abilities, alignment and stuff) I might as well play a reaper, considering I haven't had a chance to yet. LEVEL: 10 Race: Any Books: Any LA: as long as it doesnt put you over the starting limit of 10 levels, it's ok Alignment: Any, though the majority will be evil. * ANY NON-CORE MATERIAL MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW* Basically, if you wanna play something from the BoVD or something, let us know first, and we'll check it out. And Reaper is ok,although the Original version is preferred seeing as I've yet to play/review the new one. |
| supernerd891605-21-06, 02:15 PM | all right by the way, I'm working on an undead monster. I'll give you the link when I'm finished. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-21-06, 02:24 PM | sweet sounds great and YES, I have a lotta free time too. hahahaha! |
| supernerd891605-21-06, 02:37 PM | OK, here it is: Chilled (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=9210483#post9210483) I'm having trouble deciding CR though. |
| supernerd891605-21-06, 02:48 PM | how do you want me to get my abilities (roll, point buy, other?) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-21-06, 02:55 PM | how do you want me to get my abilities (roll, point buy, other?) Here's the Abilites, use them in any order as you wish: 18 15 14 13 12 10 |
| thasis05-21-06, 05:32 PM | Just a quick question before I go roam other parts of the boards, anyone know where Demonfey? And is he going to be back in the next round? |
| DeimosDeMalus05-21-06, 06:12 PM | Just a quick question before I go roam other parts of the boards, anyone know where Demonfey? And is he going to be back in the next round? not a damned idea he should pop up before the next round though anyway, any progress? and did you finally see the concept art for DDM? http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e357/JadonP/MalusFacelessHateVersion.jpg |
| thasis05-21-06, 06:39 PM | I actualy rather liked it. It's very good. And progress is slow... I've been realy busy with my bands and stuff. It seems like I'm in three bands and a choir now. I'm in a Punk Rock Band, a Symphonic Black/Doom Metal Band, my school orchestra band, and my school choir band. Oooo... so much music. For my Symphonic Black/Doom Metal Band (the newely reformed Black Mantra), me and my friend wrote lyrics for a whole CD last night (realy good stuff to, like not crap). Now we need to do all the instrumentals, practice, memorize, and record. I can see this taking a while... I'm also teaching my friend how to DM, giving him step-by-step instructions on creating a D&D world, and then I'm creating my own world, and I'm also playing in a campaign as a Lawful Evil Human Soul Hunter (yes my class)... tricky part is it's in a Good/Neutrul campaign with Lawful Good members and stuff. Makes things complicated. |
| DeimosDeMalus05-21-06, 06:56 PM | meh........... :weep: |
| thasis05-21-06, 11:59 PM | I think I will be taking a more lurking approach instead of a direct approach to the current activities (unless something peeks my intrest). I'm to busy and there is to little activity here. Frostbite's post has led me to think that this is hopeless. Unless something gets done I think I will leave as he has. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-22-06, 03:26 PM | once the campaign comes underway, im dropping 90% of my board activity since nothing happens around here anymore |
| thasis05-22-06, 03:36 PM | Hey, I probally won't be able to DM the campaign do to my busy nature (and my dedication to the Wizards boards) so if you can get somebody else to that's be good. I'll probally be able to play in it though. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-22-06, 03:44 PM | I'll DM if you can atleast help a little. |
| thasis05-22-06, 06:33 PM | I'll help, but I'll keep my help mainly in PM's and stuff so I don't muck up the main threads. |
| DeimosDeMalus05-22-06, 06:55 PM | I'll help, but I'll keep my help mainly in PM's and stuff so I don't muck up the main threads. good enough bro. |

| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-26-06, 03:35 PM | Nice, nice...i like it i belive i will make my character (though it will be higher level than the party-it will serve as a guide, mentor, etc) but Thasis/I will be Co-DM/DM respectively unless someone else wants to DM, because i tend to play somewhat homebrewed rules |
| supernerd891605-26-06, 03:44 PM | Oh, thank god-er Deimos De Malos- you like it. ;) this is only going to be the second spellcaster i've played so far, if you count that abysmal excuse for a spellslinger that I mangled from a bard a caster. Bone is really weak, compared to the rest of the party. I am thinking about what I can do to power him up. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-26-06, 03:50 PM | I may or may not end up just using some type of fiend as an avatar of DDM to aid/assist/guide the party but i need to know if anyone is available to DM, because i guarentee my rules arent all book-motivated |
| supernerd891605-26-06, 03:52 PM | I am fine with non core, and I can't really offer my services as a DM, as I have never done it before |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-26-06, 04:42 PM | alrighty then. sounds good for now once Thasis speaks his mind on the subject, ill make a website for the campaign |
| thasis05-26-06, 07:28 PM | I actualy have a message boards I started for it. |
| supernerd891605-26-06, 09:00 PM | Where? btw, I need weight load for a character with 14 strength. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-26-06, 10:03 PM | Where? btw, I need weight load for a character with 14 strength. check the SRD. --------------------- anyway, Thasis, post your link to the site and i have the PERFECT IDEA for DDM's stats!!!!!!!!!! PM me! |
| supernerd891605-27-06, 11:15 AM | I already did, it wasn't there. I'll go check some different SRD's |
| supernerd891605-27-06, 11:20 AM | Found it in hypertext srd |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-27-06, 11:29 AM | Found it in hypertext srd thats what i meant anyway, who all is going to be in the campaign? Thasis Priest(DDM) Super who else? |
| supernerd891605-27-06, 06:14 PM | What? No one else? Perhaps you should advertise on another thread. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-27-06, 06:52 PM | I will. also...we have a nifty little bugger...one of DDM's avatars: Chaotic Evil Male Half-Fiend Satyr Outsider 5 / Soulknife 20 / Black Dragon Shaman 20 :) |
| supernerd891605-27-06, 09:56 PM | Nice. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-27-06, 10:31 PM | official stats for him are in the other thread you like? |
| supernerd891605-27-06, 10:43 PM | Just saw it, pretty good. Well done. |
| Wilds05-27-06, 11:18 PM | What campgain you running? |
| supernerd891605-27-06, 11:29 PM | ECL 10 lots of undead want in? |
| supernerd891605-27-06, 11:33 PM | I just realised that my reaper has next to no abilities that work against undead... which sucks, as th undead slayer thing is wher I was going for it... Any chance of me being able to take cure blank wounds instead of natural necromancy? I put it as part of my reaper 1.1, but as you haven't reviewed that, I'll just ask you Kobold. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-28-06, 12:17 AM | Just saw it, pretty good. Well done. thanks need the Soul Hunter added to him though think you can review him & fix any miscalculations? and possibly throw the 20 Soul Hunter levels on it? |

| supernerd891605-29-06, 03:22 PM | Another interesting monster. (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=625175) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-29-06, 04:17 PM | I was hoping you would say that. | supernerd891605-29-06, 04:29 PM | Absolutely, but I gotta go to my grandmas house today. I'll do it later. Do you mind if I use szatanys ultimate barbarians? At least for the leader? i'll probably go humans for most of them (with half-orcs and elves mixed in) plus, how about using Necros race for one? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-29-06, 04:35 PM | not sure if i saw it, but sure, what the hell. also- if you can, give them all construct grafts or the half-golem (prefferably Iron) template....but make sure the construct grafts are all kinda...*unique* like mechanized tentacles( like a displacer beast or choker's claws) or stuff like that thanks man ^_^ |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-29-06, 04:39 PM | EDITED POST ABOUT BARBARIAN CLAN see if that's ok also, if you have it send me the link for the ultimate bbn |
| thasis05-29-06, 06:03 PM | Szanty's classes are preferable over the PHB ones. They make them fun to play, allow diversity or specielty, and allow you complete control over your characters progression. |

| thasis05-30-06, 04:34 PM | O.o.... I could probally type it up and send it. What book is it in? And check out this baby, just designed it: The Mortician's Daughter A gaunt looking feminine figure stands in front of you. She has a generally human form, but she is disfigured beyond recognition. Her face and body are covered with various scars and openly bleeding cuts. Bulbous sores ooze puss out of various areas of her body. She has long black hair that stretches past her waist. She wears it so it covers most of her face. Her eyes are equally as disturbing as the rest of her body. They are yellow, almost feline shaped, and the iris continually swirls in a inconsistent form. Different appendages of her body continually spasm and contract increasing the uneasy feel to her body. Created from the corpse of a freshly diseased female body, the Mortician's Daughters are abhorrent undead creatures used as shock troops in powerful Necromancer's armies. Mortician's Daughters are created through a revolting process known as The Transformation from Beauty. This is covered further onward. Mortician's Daughters are not generally intelligent creatures, though they possess sentience. If left to their own devices they simply rely on simply instincts to feed. Strategies and Tactics Mortician's Daughters are quick and furious fighters. They will savagely attack those who they are told to kill. They use their speed to their advantage, attacking enemies and then hastily retreating to come back in for a kill. If they can, they will try to catch their opponents unaware as to sneak attack them. Lore of the Mortician's Daughter Knowledge (Religion) DC15 - Mortician's Daughters have abnormal inhuman speed. DC19 - Mortician's Daughters are foul undead monstrosities. DC23 - Mortician's Daughters have a resistance to magical energy. DC27 - Mortician's Daughters are created through a ritual called The Transformation from Beauty. Ecology Mortician's Daughters, when left to their own devices are generally almost unintelligible. They have minimal intelligence, and they tend to resort to their natural desire to feed on the flesh of others. When under the control of Necromancers, they are always obedient. They will follow orders quickly and efficiently. They are commonly used as assassins or shock troops. Society The Mortician's Daughters themselves don't have any society of their own. They are simply savage creatures brought into this world to serve and destroy. The Transformation From Beauty The Transformation From Beauty. is a grusome ritual required to create Mortician's Daughters. To complete the ritual you must have atleast 5000 gold for expenses to complete the ritual. Once you have aquired the reasources to complete the ritual you must then procead to disfigure the corpse of the creature being inflicted with the ritual in fashions as described in the Mortician's Daughters description. After that is completed you must then procead to spend 1000 EXP and complete a Knowledge (Religion) check DC29. Once this is completed the process of transformation takes 1d4+1 days to fully complete. After this a fully formed Mortician's Daughter comes into existance. It does now come into being in your control however. |
| jagggar05-30-06, 04:35 PM | I just have not kept up with their PDF market. I know when they originally came out they were the same price as the books, and since I like to take my books with me, downloading PDFs to my desktop was not gunna cut it if there was no price difference. |
| supernerd891605-30-06, 04:44 PM | :mymy: creative yeah, I agree with Jagggar |
| thasis05-30-06, 04:49 PM | I have to agree with the pricing thing, but most of the PDF's I own are self-scanned copies of hardcovers I actualy own. I actualy prefer hardcover, but sometimes I can't bring my hardcovers with me all the time. I have bought a few PDF's over my time though. So what do you think of mein monstereous abomination of the undeathly nature? |
| thasis05-30-06, 05:00 PM | Here's another undeadly abomination for yah'll! Just a quick warning, if you don't like the harm of children you might not want to read on as this complety disfigures them ;) :D :P Children of Pestilence You see what seems to be a small infantine child. At least that was your initial impression. As you take a closer look, you see it only resembles a child. It has the general shape of a human, but its face is twisted and contorted into a mess. Its mouth is always partially open; with many thrashing tentacles inside replacing, it's tongue. For hands, it large claws that drip with poisonous materials. It's eyes glow pure green and the being has a demonic grin to it. Small Undead Hit Dice: 3d12 (20 HP) Initiative: +2 (Dex) Speed: 20ft Amour Class: 15 (+2 Dex, +3 Natural, +1 Size) Base Attack/Grapple: +1/+3 Attacks: +5 Melee Claw (1d4+2 and Poison) Full Attack: +3 Melee 2 Claws (1d4+2 and Poison) Space/Reach: 5ft/5ft Special Attacks: Poisonous Claws Special Qualities: Undead Traits Saves: Fort +1, Ref +3, Will +6 Abilities: Str 14, Dex 14, Con -, Int 2, Wis 17, Cha 8 Skills: Move Silently +8 Feats: Dodge, Weapon Focus (Claws) Organization: Solitary Alignment: Neutral Evil Challenge Rating: 3 Treasure: - Children of Pestilence are twisted creatures created from the corpses of babies through a ritual known as the Transformation from Innocence (detailed further down). Children of Pestilence are created as shock troops by many sick necromancers who manage to get hold of the corpses of children. Children of Pestilence are barely sentinent, with the intelligence of only the most primitive of animals. They rely of pure instinct to kill, as that is all they know. Poison: Whenever Children of Pestilence hit an opponent with their claw attack the opponent must make a fortitude save (DC20) or take 1d2 constitution damage. Strategies and Tactics The Children of Pestilence know very little tactics. They only thing they realize in combat is the end goal to make the enemy fall. Unless commanded otherwise the Children of Pestilence will continually attack the opponent with their claws inflicting as much damage as possible, also hoping to get poison damage in. Lore Knowledge (Religion) DC 13 - Children of Pestilence are undead creatures. DC16 - Children of Pestilence have poisonous claws. DC19 - Children of Pestilence are created through a process known as the Transformation from Innocence. Ecology Children of Pestilence when left to their own devices have very limited consciousness, resorting to a primitive animalist urge to kill. This is because that is all they were created to do. Society The Children of Pestilence, list most unintelligible undead, have no society of their own. They are usually found in the accompaniment of other undead if put into a combat squad, but on their own they savagely stalk the nights attacking people as if they were animals. |
| jagggar05-30-06, 05:04 PM | I have to agree with the pricing thing, but most of the PDF's I own are self-scanned copies of hardcovers I actualy own. I actualy prefer hardcover, but sometimes I can't bring my hardcovers with me all the time. I have bought a few PDF's over my time though. Ah. I wish my scanner was nice, and that my computer had room. (The scanner almost always puts little colored lines on stuff. A random line of blue here, pink/red there don't forget the green.) So what do you think of mein monstereous abomination of the undeathly nature? Well, for someone who says he doesn't like Ring. . . But who named the ritual "Transformation from Beauty"? I mean, come on, the necromancer is probably thinking this is a beautiful creation. (Stupid adventurers wanting to destroy such a work of art.) |
| supernerd891605-30-06, 05:10 PM | You are sick Thasis. You know that? Well done. |
| supernerd891605-30-06, 05:18 PM | Back to the topic on hand, I was thinking about adding a rank of archers from an allied ranger forest, and now I have the perfect excuse. Necros girl nephy...nepha...things have higher dex than strength. Since their strength is not as good as the males (at least, not girl nephi... all right, I'm calling them thrice from now on (from thrice-forged). Anyway, thrice women aren't as powerful as thrice men from a stat point of view) the girls are sent to this allied forest where they learn archery and hunting. |
| jagggar05-30-06, 05:19 PM | Children of Pestilence are barely sentiment, with the intelligence of only the most primitive of animals. They rely of pure instinct to kill, as that is all they know. I believe the word is "sentient" and I thought it didn't apply to animals. And what kind of poison is the poison? Save DC? Primary damage? Secondary Damage? |
| thasis05-30-06, 05:36 PM | Sorry, ment to say sentinent, and I accidently forgot the poison. I'll correct that. And Supernerd, I'm glad you like it. Just be prepared to find one... or five... hovering above your bed if you ever cross my path ;) :P |
| supernerd891605-30-06, 05:43 PM | No worries, I never go to bed unless my +5 undead bane holy sword is at my side ;) :P What do you feel about an Athena like diety, created by the war father and revered by the archer women? I don't feel like statting her, and you created the war father so I decided it would be best to ask you. |
| thasis05-30-06, 05:48 PM | <<...>>... I create my undead with anti-anti-undead measures :D |
| supernerd891605-30-06, 05:50 PM | And I have anti-anti-anti-undead measures ;) Hah! I beat you! :P |
| thasis05-30-06, 10:51 PM | I bet you can't defeat this though ;) : Just to clear things up, I do no usually follow the rules that non-sentient undead are evil, but as the 3.5 rules states they are, I am putting this as they are simply because that is the standard form. If you wish to use this monster in your campaign and change it to suit your alternate standards do so. Leprous Defiler A large cancerous blob of contagious material oozes forward. It looks like it once had a humanlike body, but it is long disfigured into the gelatin mass that you see in front of you. The creature that stands in front of you seems to have a gaping mouth in the center of it's molten flesh covered with fangs sharp enough to penetrate bone. Medium Undead Hit Dice: 12d12 (78 HP) Initiative: -2 (Dex) Speed: 15ft Amour Class: 20 (-2 Dex, +12 Natural), Touch 8, Flat-Footed 20 Base Attack/Grapple: +6/+13 Attacks: Touch of Leprosy +13 melee (Leprosy) or Bite +13 (1d8+7) Full Attack: Touch of Leprosy +11 melee (Leprosy) and Bite +11 (1d8+7) Space/Reach: 5ft/5ft Special Attacks: Leprosy Special Qualities: DR10/Magic, SR20, Regeneration 3 Saves: Fort +4, Ref +2, Will +7 Abilities: Str 24, Dex 6, Con -, Int -, Wis 9, Cha 5 Skills: - Feats: - Organization: Solitary Challenge Rating: 10 Alignment: Neutral Evil Treasure: - Advancement: 13-21 (Large) Leprous Defilers are monstrous semi-humanoid semi-ooze undead creatures. They dwell mainly in dungeons and areas with high densities of negative energy. Their exact purpose is unknown, but they seem to simply ooze about spreading disease in a lack of consciousness. The Leprous Defiler's exacts origins are unknown. Scholars have proposed various theories however. The most commonly accepted theory is that they were formed by a mad necromancer attempting to make an undead form of a gelatinous cube. Leprosy: If the Leprous Defiler successfully makes a Touch attack (at +13) the opponent must make a fortitude save (DC13) or contract Leprosy. Leprosy is detailed at the end of this post. Strategies and Tactics Leprous Defilers have no general strategies or tactics as they are mindless undead. When in combat they simply attack until the enemy is killed or they are destroyed. Ecology Leprous Defilers seem to have no overall purpose. They simply roam about in a mindless drone, attacking those who it encounters in a mindless fashion. It also seems to get some sort of emotional delight from transferring the disease. Scholars have been puzzled about why this is, as the creatures are not sentient. Environment: Any Society Leprous Defilers have no society as they are mindless undead. They simply roam about the landscape they dwell in, spreading disease and leaving a trail of death. Leprosy If a person catches Leprosy they automatically become a carrier. Any creatures they touch must make a fortitude save (DC10) or contract leprosy themselves and become a carrier. Every day that you have Leprosy you must make a fortitude save (DC13) or take 1d2 points of permanent constitution and charisma damage. As soon as the Thrice are done, the War Father's machinations of war shall flow forth from the Forge Mechanicus' halls. |
| thasis05-31-06, 12:08 AM | You could probally create a goal guild based around the War Father and his Forge Mechanicus (not to give you inspiration or anything  ) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest05-31-06, 03:09 PM | Actually, the Forge Mechanicus is an upcoming Guild I'm gonna make :D |
| supernerd891605-31-06, 05:31 PM | I could be gone a couple of days, I'm going to my moms house for a bit. Don't know when i'll be back, and she doesn't have the internet. :( Send me the half-golem and I'll try to finish Gunja up as soon as I get back. |

| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-03-06, 12:14 PM | The preparations for Forge Mechanicus are under-way |
| thasis06-03-06, 04:09 PM | The preperations for a new evil are on the way... trust me... it's going to be good. |

| thasis06-04-06, 11:35 PM | They havn't been created or posted. I just have concepts, and when I post them you will like them. I think we've had a misunderstanding here. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-05-06, 03:26 PM | |
| thasis06-05-06, 08:45 PM | I posted them, you better like it! :P |

| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-06-06, 03:25 PM | let's not go that far, or i shall be forced to bring the War Father's wrath upon your creations  |
| thasis06-06-06, 08:44 PM | My next creation will be a god killer ;) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-06-06, 08:47 PM | sweet. I think i wanna find someone to make more enhancements for War Child's Metal Destrier (......er....Equine Golem....) I already upgraded him a tiny bit, nothing much, just swapped his wooden parts for adamantine ( gave him adamantine body/changed spell effects from wood - adamantine ) |
| thasis06-07-06, 01:46 AM | Spinning Saw Blades! Spinning Saw Blades! |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 01:40 PM | Spinning Saw Blades! Spinning Saw Blades! something like Doc Oct's arms which come from the chest of the horse or spinning saw blades! (with interchangeable attachments, like Elf Grinders of course) |
| thasis06-07-06, 05:57 PM | Doc Oct's arms with spinning blades! |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 07:56 PM | Doc Oct's arms with spinning blades! yeah, or that LMAO! anyway, seriously- Elves, you think you can design some attachments for War Child & his mount? |
| thasis06-07-06, 08:59 PM | Oh, sorry bout the fact that I'm not realy producing stuff. I'm sooooo busy lately. I'll see if I can get some stuff done later on tonight, though no promises. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 10:05 PM | alright bro, no worries- you're always good to your word |
| thasis06-07-06, 10:19 PM | I try to be. Just seems I either over or under exagurate the amount of time needed. When I say I'll be late I'm early, and when I say I'm going to be early I'm late... *frowns* |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 10:22 PM | but you always come through for it no matter what |
| thasis06-07-06, 10:42 PM | Yah, I tend to. I'm somewhat reliable :P Ok, so my next creation, I got the begginings done (concept, Hit Dice, Attributes, description)... I call it the World Defiler. It's not a construct... but let's just say you'll love it. Hell it's called the World Defiler, how could you not like that. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 10:58 PM | nice though i've changed my mind on his little...pet instead of giving him a Clockwork Choker, i may co-op with you on some stats for a small constuct... |
| thasis06-08-06, 01:30 AM | I'm willing to help you on something. Contact me through PM, Emails, or post here to tell me what you want me to do. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-08-06, 09:24 AM | I want to make a small sized constuct known as a Word Bearer which is a construct made of black adamantine (adamantine Body feat) which resembles this Dark Angel Standard Bearer: http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/spacemarines/catalog/darkangels/images/standard_bearer.gif but instead of the bolter pistol has a warhammer It will basically be a servant to War Child, and carry his deity's banner (which is in the process, should be ready by next week) and stuff like that, but still be able to hold its own in combat, and have a few unique abilities CR3 max please... |
| thasis06-08-06, 10:14 AM | I can create it after dinner tonight (or sooner possibly, though no promises). |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-08-06, 10:59 AM | sweet. the ECL 7 round is gonna kick so much ass oh & i fixed my sheet |
| thasis06-08-06, 04:37 PM | I dunno, I'm not to enthused. But my complaints will be for another thread. The World Defiler has been brewing in my mind some more, so some conceptual work has been done. Things are progressing... :) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-08-06, 06:49 PM | i know what you mean as far as the World Defiler & Word Bearer.....any stats yet? just curious. |
| thasis06-08-06, 07:27 PM | World Defiler has some minimal starting stats for Abilities, HD, and HP, plus size and creature type. As for the Word Bearer, I'm starting on him relatively soon. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-08-06, 07:58 PM | :p Yay! :p |
| thasis06-08-06, 11:45 PM | Mmm... back home, going to start the Word Bearer again. |

| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-11-06, 03:41 PM | So I guess I'll finish off the Word Bearer after I respond to some posts. I hope you will like it. It's pretty generic, but still cool and effective. Kinnda like Warhammer Guys aye ;) cool, thanks bro....hey do you happen to have any of your old Warhammer stuff that you dont want? we're in need of an army and stuff out here for a friend, and he's pretty much broke right now.... :weep: as for the WB, you know the one construct,...i think it's called a Hammerer or something like that,...that'd be a good basis |
| thasis06-11-06, 04:28 PM | Sorry, my warhamer stuff is all at my friends. No clue what he did with it. And it's all 40k, painted horribly, and they have so many lairs on them that it's impossible to paint over them. |
