| Demonfey03-03-05, 08:20 AM | Yay! I've got some power here now! :D |
| thasis03-03-05, 07:26 PM | Hey, can I join. I was part of the last one but it kinnda fell apart and I fell distant. I'll try to stay more frequent on this one. |
| Demonfey03-03-05, 07:30 PM | You are one of the originals, so OF COURSE YOU CAN! Good to see you on the boards again, Thasis! |
| necrodude1603-04-05, 01:00 AM | I am currently working on a logo and back story. Welcome Back Thasis. You can have a spot on the council because you were a member before. |
| thasis03-04-05, 08:21 PM | Cool, sorry about the abssence. I'm a member of Runescape. It's so highly addictive I havn't had much time to do much else. I'm toning it down now so I can spend some time over hear. Also the running of my own boards is difficult... BUT IF YA WANT TO JOIN :D !!! LoL. Anyways... this place needs some activity. |
| necrodude1603-05-05, 03:36 AM | Look here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v157/aaron__p/cOTp.jpg) ???  |
| thasis03-05-05, 02:30 PM | What is that? Some hippie band from the 60's? |
| Demonfey03-06-05, 12:17 AM | Interesting, but not a good feel for a game. |
| Demonfey03-06-05, 09:30 PM | Necrodude, I was talking with the forest dwellers, and they are having issues with planning on how to deal with helping provide safe haven for the NPC denizens of the town. I told them that I would run this by you before extending any invitation first. Would you be willing to let this plane act as a temporary safe haven for the masses, by any chance? You will have complete say on conditions and if so or not. Also, does the somewhat unofficial alliance with the psions and warlocks that I forged while waiting to see if anyone else from the original group would return still stand? |

Also, does the somewhat unofficial alliance with the psions and warlocks that I forged while waiting to see if anyone else from the original group would return still stand? I will allow it, we are not evil and we will do what it takes to furthur the acception and appretiation of us and our planetouched brethren. The Children of the planes will offer safehaven to anyone the council deems worthy of our help. If one of you feels that an allience should be made with another guild, feel free to extend the planetouched hand and then return and tell us of the news. Kayne pauses thinking, before slowly rising and walking to view the plane in it's entrity. As the other members of the guild gather near him, the plane changes shape from what was once were stagnant swamps now stand tree-based villages and huts.We are ready to accept The Forest Dwellers. If they come we will concider ourself aligned in their favour. Ask if they will do the same for us. I will also contact some of the original planetouched and try to recruit some new planetouched. You should do the same. With another flick of the wrist the plane changes once more, where a lake once lay there now stood hundreds of buildings. We are now equipped to provide relative saftey to the masses. With concern showing on his rather young and stylish face he repeatsRelative Saftey. Inform them we cannot promise we will not be attacked but if we are they will be protected. Kayne turns slowy and heads toward the doorway. He has felt the ravages of war before and knows how they can affect the world of mortals. He turns and smiles towards his two second in charges, imbuing them with a sense of hope. |

Also, our allies, the warlocks and psions, said that they will come to our aid if we are attacked, and vice versa. We can count on them. I have begun the attempt to recruit, as well. {Crowley goes still for a minute, before returning to the conversation.} I have sent the information to the main body. They will know soon. Body outside body...such a fun spell. Especially if you can forge telepathic links. |
| necrodude1603-07-05, 12:22 AM | Kayne Nods silently and moves to greet the leader of the Forest Dwellers. |
| Demonfey03-07-05, 06:07 PM | Quick thing to note: there isn't a main leader, but rather something more like a council in charge. |
| Frostbite_Ravenheart03-08-05, 05:53 PM | Speaking of a Council - Well as you know The Council of Archmages activly seeks to know and learn. While we have touched many concepts and seen many interesting things on the mortal worlds, it is the lands beyond that we know ley true glory. As such I would like to extend my hand in to an alliance with yours. We'll work out more of the details if you agree In-game, if you wish. -Frosty |
| necrodude1603-08-05, 10:50 PM | Immediatly after seeing the appearance of Frostbite,Kayne bows slightly before extending his hand to the leader of the Council of Archmages. We will gladly ally ourselfs with the Council of Archmages. You may even make use of our plane if you wish. (Vices: Is that Ok with you?) |
| Rurik "The Silent"03-08-05, 10:57 PM | i was thinking about making a shade, would he be welcome here if i make him? |
| necrodude1603-09-05, 02:24 AM | Indeed any form of planetouched is welocme in our halls. |
| Droga03-09-05, 02:41 AM | A pair of glowing red eyes form from nearby shadows. Looking out at the others in the area. The familiar deep, dark, and menacing voice of Droga flows out of the shadows. "Tell me... do these... Children of the Planes support all those from other planes? Do you side with the half elves in their war to exterminate my people? Or do you remain neutral? Better yet, do you support my people's fight to live? For the destruction of the skull would mean no less than our race's doom. Of course, that will never happen. However, I wish to know where you... stand on this matter. Would you allow the half-elves to wipe a populated plane's species from existance, or would you stand as brothers, knowing our plight, as you yourselves must have felt descrimination in your lives. Granted, I may act rash at times, but that gives no right for the genocide of my people. Tell me... tell us.... where do you stand?" |
| necrodude1603-09-05, 03:56 AM | We support all those who are born of the planes and do not take sides in wars that don't directly affect us or our allies. |
| Droga03-09-05, 12:33 PM | A dark laugh echoes from the shadows. The voice again speaks. "Do not think for a moment she will not come for you when she is done with us... Or, rather, when she sees that it is an impossible task to defeat us. She will look for something esle to attack, to claim as evil because it is different. You, are not born of her world. So you are different, and you will be a target. Like it or not... this war effects you, simply because you are... what you are..." |

So you are different, and you will be a target. Like it or not... this war effects you, simply because you are... what you are..." We will be safeguarding the peasants during the war. If she attacks us, she will end up having many people seeing her hatred, her rage, come out. |
| Droga03-09-05, 05:28 PM | "Then stay and guard your peasants until she comes. Until she strikes down and kills your kind. Then let you say that Droga was right. You will see, and you will ask yourselves, why you did not stand against her when you had the chance. You will curse yourselves for not fighting back against such hatred of all that is not her own. You will see, and I will watch. I will gaze down upon you and watch. She will kill your peasants, she will kill your friends and your families. She is more similar to us than she knows. She lacks compasion or mercy. Your choices lie between two great "evils." Our hand is open in friendship, while hers shall come down closed around the hilt of a blade." The eyes disappear as the creautre's final words echo through your minds. |

The eyes disappear as the creautre's final words echo through your minds. Her peasants as well, Droga. We are supporting the militia branch. Besides, you forget one thing: we have a sentient plane that can teleport foes and make mirror images of them. |
| De Batavier03-10-05, 12:33 PM | KArl Abend returns to the Childeren of the Planes Greetings i see that you have changed the location of your plane or is it more the location of the portals. In any case . We Warlocks still honour our alliance. I see we have a new group of allies in our mids. Those of the Forest Dwellers Foundation. |
| Frostbite_Ravenheart03-10-05, 01:00 PM | The Children of the Planes seems to attract many a powerful members and foundations. Perhaps you might consider undertaking a great diplomatic quest in trying to unite all your allies as allies of each other. This would make a very strong alliance. But, there would be problems. One of course is that the CoA and the Guild of Evil would have a great difficulty trying to ally the GoE without surrendering there friendship to the Half-Elves. One way to get the CoA and the GoE to ally would require you convincing most of the CoA's members, as I will never surrender my friendship to the HeF, ever. However I am not the sole decision maker so a majority vote and I'll have no choice but to accept the alliance. Droga, if the GoE wishes to ally us and doesn't mind our alliance with the HeF, perhaps we can start personal alliance talks sooner. Back to the CotP: Your allowing us into your home. This is a great gift coming from you then most other foundations as your do indeed have the most wonderful home. Tie that with the fact that one of the few foundations you’re going to let into your home is one of the few foundations that can attempt on a massive scale try to find and penetrate it. So were entirely safe on your plane. So we need to do something for you. But I've no ideas nor do I want to fall deeply into favor-debt...as that can lead to many problem in the future. On a more personal note: "Alright then, will work out more of the details concerning our great alliance later. On a more personal note..." Frosty takes out a small, sphere shaped item that seems to fit comfortably in closed hands, even changing size of need it. It glows a curious mixture of reds and oranges and even for this will the littlest understanding of magic can feel great power pulsating from the sphere. He hands it to Kayne "Here, take this. Were not quite sure what it does but we discovered this curious item on a little adventure through the shadow realm. We do believe however that it doesn't belong there and some of our best researcher are dumbfounded as to why its there but are positive it came from the demonic planes, more specifically one of the many planes of the abyss. Our chief Archmage who presides over demonic magic has been a bit busy of late so instead of risking the anger of a demon prince, we've decided to hand it over to you. I must say in my travels I've gained a great experience in the working of magic items and I've discovered a ways to trick magic items into thinking I’m something I’m not. The only time I've ever felt something from it was when I speak any of the fiendish languages or curiously, whenever I speak the language of the earth plane. A curious object indeed which is perhaps more useful in your hands. " Just a little gift. We archmages all have our own portfolios and while I doubt this foundation has any great power of the subtle art of manipulating thoughts and emotions, it would be helpful to let in on any secrets related to the much more mysterious primeval music. -Frosty |
| Orcy The Green Wonder03-10-05, 02:19 PM | Orcy's question is where exactly did this thing come from? In game gifts remember must be given and gained with in game gold. If giving a gift, it helps if your character has been approved before tossing around some gold for gifts. Unless of course this is some item that was made at the COA a while back and not used. In which case Orcy would like to know where to find info on that. The only reason he is telling you this is because he has had some problems with other posters handing out gifts they can't afford and have no explination on gaining. |
| Frostbite_Ravenheart03-10-05, 03:09 PM | Wasn't really an in-game thing, seeing as how the game hasn't really started yet. It has absolutly no in-game powers and isn't worth a cent. In fact, I just made it up for roleplaying reasons not the actual game itself. Sorry for the confusion. -Frosty |
| necrodude1603-10-05, 04:19 PM | Well we got the plane as an 'artefact' in the first guild wars and we've kinda lived there scine. |

| Cazic03-14-05, 11:19 PM | A tall muscular being walks into the guild. He has long black hair that looks more like fur than hair, the nails on his hands are long all most to the point of being claws, and you find it odd that he is hearing no armor. The cloths he is wearing are all lose on his body and made of leather. He is carrying no weapons on him, but has a air of power that unsettles you. You can sence a odd mix of energies inside of him that though oppisites seem to be one at the same time. Around his neck you see a holy symbol that you have never even heard of before and you very much want to ask about it and the odd mix of energies. "Hello. My name is Granis Greywolf the Vampire-Bane. I am wondering if you would welcome me into your guild. I am human, but I am afflicted with several different curses that make me far more than a normal Human. I do not know for sure but those curses may be from another plane so perhaps I am plane touchs just as you all are." OOC: Hi. DF aksed for mambers so I thought you all might like to have this guy here. If you have any question to ask about him go ahead. :) |
| necrodude1603-14-05, 11:38 PM | Hmm....I have a feeling from you.... Kayne finds himself walking around the wierd form of the newest arrival. Grabbing Granis' hand, it glows blue a sign that he is truly a planetouched. And if you can't trust me who can you trust. Welcome Granis Greywolf, you are truly a child of the planes. |
| Sssargoth03-14-05, 11:54 PM | Perhaps you might consider undertaking a great diplomatic quest in trying to unite all your allies as allies of each other. This would make a very strong alliance. All our allies are allied with each other, wether they realize it or not, so it's going to get really interesting... :twitch: :twitch: allies attacking each other without realizing they are allies... :twitch: :twitch: |

"It does not surprise me that I am plane touched since the energies of two different dieties flow through me." Granis then looks down to the holy symbol around his neck and makes a silent prayer to his godess. "I am glad that I am welcome here. I only hope you do not change your mind if you ever find out what I am..... most do." |
| Sssargoth03-15-05, 01:11 AM | "I am glad that I am welcome here. I only hope you do not change your mind if you ever find out what I am..... most do." "I do not dought that fair Red. I have heard great things of you, but despite what you say there are those from other planes who do not like what I was and have become." Granis looks down to the Symbol around his neck again then looks back to Sssargoth. "I am of Vampire and Lycanthrope blood and there are few in this multi-verse that can tolarate one or the other. Fewer still that can tolarate both. But through the grace of my godess, The Bright Sister, I have become far more than Lycanthrope or Vampire. I am something that none is any have ever heard of. I am a Kinsmir. A mixing of Vampire and Lycanthrope becoming something far more powerful." OOC: For more info. on Kinsmir check the link in my sig. |
| Sssargoth03-15-05, 01:58 AM | "At least you wern't beaten almost to death by your nest-mates on a regular basis, and have the unfortunate pleasure of a father that wanted to sacrifice you to Tiamat for being the runt. I guess you could say those are the reasons I developed my psionic capabilities." |

I had to deal with older syblinings beating me up on a minutely basis. I think I know your pain as far as that goes and since I lived in Vampire controled lands and most of those Vampire wanted to become Kinsmir. Lycanthropes were normally choosen as the desired sacrifices for the Ritual needed to become a Kinsmir. So once again I think I feel your pain on the sacrifice issue. Maybe more than you since I almost was a sacrifice. I am only alive today because I was able to kill the Vampire before he sacrificed me." Granis then goes over Sssargoth's words in his head. "I guess you could say those are the reasons I developed my Kinsmir powers." The Ritual he is refuring to is the Ritual of the Curse which is needed to become a Kinsmir and the Vampire he is refuring to is the Vampire that he had defeated and sacrifced to become a Kinsmir. :) |

I exploited my races weakness to the cold, which I no longer have, and I froze my father to death, before flaying my nest-mates alive i the most painful way imaginable." He becomes noticably more giddy as he recalls that night, and it's making some people worry....alot. The Sssargoth you are talking to is the origional that was made before the IFWG. He's 20 years old, large sized and ECL 70. | thasis03-15-05, 10:04 AM | Thasis enters the delicate halls of the Planetouched. He looks around slowly. "It seems as if we've grown more people". With that he laughs. "Ahhh, good story Sssargoth. Very good indeed" |
| Frostbite_Ravenheart03-15-05, 03:22 PM | Hmm everyones already allied? How the hell are we gonna have a war then? Bait? BAIT? DAMNIT BAIT GET OVER HERE AND START CAUSING TROUBLE!...wheres the bard when you need him? Any how I'm considering having one of my characters be a "Lupinal" The wolf-like celestial but I'm having a tad bit of difficulty finding information for Pcs and a 3.5 V of the monster. I just thought it would be fitting to ask here ;). -Frosty |

Then we come in and clean up whats left. :D Any how I'm considering having one of my characters be a "Lupinal" The wolf-like celestial but I'm having a tad bit of difficulty finding information for Pcs and a 3.5 V of the monster. Then we come in and clean up whats left. :D Ha! Laugh while you can. The CoA is the most neutral guild here. We seek many allies tis true but we only go so far in helping them. We won't come to their aid in attacking and probably will only take a sentence in a conflict thats too genocidal. This is how we expect to be treated likewise. If somone for some reason declares war on us and our best Diplomates cannot solve it then we don't expect anyone to step in until were just days from the end. -Frosty |

Sorry, no luck finding an ECL. @Cazic: Why should that bother me? My father was a demon that ripped my arm off and beat me unconscious with it, and one of my generals is actually a necropolitan and part demon. |
| Dyne03-16-05, 10:33 PM | I'm considering making a bashful Aasimar Cleric who acts as a healer. If I do, I might make him a member of this foundation. In any case, I suppose I should become more active here. |
| Cazic03-20-05, 03:43 PM | Glad to hear it Dyne. |
| Dyne03-20-05, 06:49 PM | Darn it, my character ideas are getting shuffled around again. Now I'm wanting to make an Imperial Moff character. It'd be pretty cool, though, since I'd have my own personal Star Destroyer. :D Perhaps I'll change Strider into a Dark Jedi Assassin Imperial Moff? |
| Cazic03-20-05, 08:30 PM | If you can put that in DnD terms ya. |
| Demonfey03-22-05, 08:51 PM | {The Crowley here shatters, leaving a note saying that he has died of work related hazards (coughsuicidemissioncough), and is now bound to Carcerai.} |
| necrodude1603-22-05, 10:58 PM | With a tear in his eye and a question mark above his head, Kayne moves over to the shattered Crowley and exclaims WTF |
| Cazic03-22-05, 11:37 PM | Go to FDF it talks more about this there. |
| Demonfey03-23-05, 05:12 PM | With a tear in his eye and a question mark above his head, Kayne moves over to the shattered Crowley and exclaims WTF Long story short, OOG I decided that this would make sure I couldn't use him for the war, IG he stormed the keep of some group of mercenaries on the moon and died from expending too much substance on the way up through the keep. On a side note, my theory on how elementals, outsiders, and summons works is that, to use the case of a summoned outsider/elemental for starters, they draw to them the necessary energy from the world and use it to create a physical form for their soul to inhabit on the material plane, considering that they are, for all purposes, souls infused with the energy of their plane. This explains why summons are temporary, need something like a brazier or bowl, disappear at 0 HP, and why fiends and celestials go back to their homes when they are destroyed on other dimensions rather than just be completely destroyed. |
| Dyne03-24-05, 11:05 PM | I've never seen in the rules that celestials and demons/devils go back to their home plane when destroyed. I'm thinking that my character will be an Aasimar Sorcerer/Spontaneous Cleric (from Unearthed Arcana)/Mystic Theurge. By-the-way, could someone send me the details on the Spontaneous variant of the Cleric class? Please? :) |
| Demonfey03-24-05, 11:37 PM | I've never seen in the rules that celestials and demons/devils go back to their home plane when destroyed. I'm thinking that my character will be an Aasimar Sorcerer/Spontaneous Cleric (from Unearthed Arcana)/Mystic Theurge. By-the-way, could someone send me the details on the Spontaneous variant of the Cleric class? Please? :) It has slight mentions in things like the planar handbook. Why would they be unresurrectable, otherwise (unless they are natives, which are always resurrectable)? I can't remember which book I saw it in, but I'm almost certain that what I put down is the gist of it. |
| Dyne03-25-05, 12:11 AM | In the SRD, it says they can't be resurrected except by Wish and True Resurrection (I believe) because they aren't a body and a spirit, they are one form. So, when they die, there isn't a body there to resurrect. Anyway, what are the rules on Spontaneous Divine Spellcasters from Unearthed Arcana? Anyone who wants to can just post it up, since UA is open gaming content (except for a few bloodlines and other signature stuff; ask jagggar). EDIT: —Unlike most other living creatures, an outsider does not have a dual nature—its soul and body form one unit. When an outsider is slain, no soul is set loose. Spells that restore souls to their bodies, such as raise dead, reincarnate, and resurrection, don’t work on an outsider. It takes a different magical effect, such as limited wish, wish, miracle, or true resurrection to restore it to life. An outsider with the native subtype can be raised, reincarnated, or resurrected just as other living creatures can be. |

EDIT: Eh, well it also is mentioned in some of the stories based off the game. Anyway, if you want a spontaneous spellcaster, go shugenja. They are the oriental series' version of clerics, and they get divine spells spontaneously, although they have a set choice like sorcerors. |
| Dyne03-25-05, 05:11 PM | I don't have stats for a shugenja. And doesn't UA just have tables for Spells Known for variant Spontaneous Divine Spellcasters? That's all I'd need. Isn't there a Favored Soul class that is a spontaneous divine spellcaster? That would probably fit really well. How does it differ from the Cleric? Does it have any other special abilities or anything? |
| Cazic03-25-05, 10:42 PM | There are Favored Souls. Basicaly think Divine sorcerors. |

One difference I can name right off the top of my head is that they get wings at 17th level. There are more that I don't remember at the moment. |

| Cazic03-26-05, 07:58 PM | I want to be a Favored Soul. :D I dont blame you. |
| Dyne03-26-05, 08:20 PM | What is the ability they use to cast spells? I would expect either Wisdom or Charisma. Charisma would be better, 'cause then I'd be able to focus on that for both Favored Soul and Sorcerer spells. |

Charisma would be better, 'cause then I'd be able to focus on that for both Favored Soul and Sorcerer spells. It is charisma, although you have to remember that you can't swap spells out for different situations like a cleric (ie, prepare certain set one day, another set another). |
| Dyne03-27-05, 07:04 PM | Favored Souls cast spontaneously like a sorcerer, though, right? That's even better. Do you guys know what the Cloistered Cleric is like? Would there be a chance of having a variant spontaneous Cloistered Cleric? |
| Demonfey03-31-05, 08:54 PM | bump |
| Cazic04-01-05, 08:46 AM | did e' Bump |
| necrodude1604-01-05, 07:28 PM | So any one got a topic? |
| Demonfey04-01-05, 08:29 PM | Fiendish grafts: parts of fiends ripped off or constructs of evil essence? |
| necrodude1604-02-05, 04:45 AM | *finds arm, picks it up and attaches it to body* hmm that sounds like a good topic..... I would think of them as a demonic gift :D |
| Demonfey04-02-05, 01:34 PM | *finds arm, picks it up and attaches it to body* hmm that sounds like a good topic..... I would think of them as a demonic gift :D Yes, but would the creation involve dismembering a fiend or making it out of raw magic and evil energy? |
| Dyne04-02-05, 03:51 PM | Yes, but would the creation involve dismembering a fiend or making it out of raw magic and evil energy? Dismembering a fiend, simply because it's funner. In any case, I still had some questions on Favored Souls and Spontaneous Divine Spellcasters. Could someone tell me the changes in the UA Spontaneous Variant Divine Spellcasters? I know it's open gaming license. |

| Cazic04-02-05, 10:08 PM | Isn't this topic more appropriate for the divine spellcasters foundation, if that still exists? I dont think it does. :weep: You could talk at the Council of Archmages. Divine magic is still magic so they should know something. |
| Dyne04-02-05, 11:46 PM | Isn't this topic more appropriate for the divine spellcasters foundation, if that still exists? It doesn't exist anymore. Well, it does as a thread, but not as an actual "guild" (as in the "people," which have all abandoned it and/or left the boards entirely). Perhaps I will speak at the Council of Archmages. It has been a long time since I have returned to my study there. Someone better not have taken my chair.... *Hurries off to the CoA* |

| necrodude1604-06-05, 12:57 AM | Stop spamming my guild............ "I didn't grant you enterance to this guild now be gone......" kaynes says and with a flick of his wrist the beast is gone. |
| Cazic04-09-05, 08:26 PM | [deleted] please forget this post ever excisted. |
| Cazic04-09-05, 09:15 PM | [deleted] please forget this post ever excisted. |
| Tenzhi04-09-05, 09:21 PM | That might have been believable, had you not posted the same spam in 20+ other threads as well. At that point it no longer seems like spam, it truly IS spam. |
| Cazic04-09-05, 09:29 PM | Yes I realize that now, but when I was posting it I was in a very good mood and proud of myself for the intro to the guild and spamed without even realizing it at first. :banghead: |
| necrodude1604-12-05, 10:53 PM | Sharply and Hastelily Kayne stands before the gathered group infront of him. My friends a war is almost upon us and with the low amount of membership i suggest that we each search the planes for those who wish to join our ranks. I leave you now to scour the planes and reveal myself to the planetouched across the multiverse as the god of the planetouched, prince of lies and patron of shadows. I leave you now on a peaceful mission to strengthen our guildKayne talks with such power that you must watch intently.I will return and bring back the best of the planes the diplomats and high ranking planestouched from across the worlds. With them amongst our ranks we will place ourselfs in positions of power across the planes and show everyone how the once downtrodden planars are really incharge of this world. :D |
| Cazic04-12-05, 11:09 PM | Hearing the words of his leader Granis, in his Awoken Lycanthyr form, stops his meditation to listen and respond. He then stands to his full 8 feet of height. "My friend I may have a place you can go. It is on this plane, but is fused with the Divine magic of the Bright Sister, the very planet many of this land hail from. Her land is upon the Matiral plain, but is anything from the ordany lands of that plane. If you go there you will find many who will come to your cause. You will be able to find a litteral nation of Lycanthropes and Lycanthyr many of which will join you if your cause is just and I myself and my pack can aid you." |
| Dyne04-13-05, 01:25 PM | War? With who? |
| Demonfey04-13-05, 07:53 PM | {The half dragon demonfey known as Sulkyr walks into the guild house} Crowley left me instructions to join here on the event of his death. Is there anything you ask of me? |
| Dyne04-15-05, 07:02 PM | A figure in black clothing enters the guild halls of the Children of the Planes. His dark robe is covered in symbols of the color violet, and his hood is pulled up over his head. He uses his ebony staff as a walking stick. "As I understand it, the people of this guild seek protection from the outside world. That is why this is set up, I believe. As a sanctuary. I understand why this would be necessary." He tosses his robe aside, and you see that he is of demonic origin, at least half-fiendish. His bat-like wings spread to their full wing-span, and horns extend from his forehead. "My associates and myself would like to offer to protect the members of this guild in exchange for an alliance. All that we request in the alliance is that my party provides aid for the Children of the Planes under any and all circumstances, and the Children of the Planes provide such aid for my party." |
| Cazic04-15-05, 07:13 PM | Granis looks up from the claws he was polishing and step toward the Half-Fiend. He stands up to his imposing height of nearly seven feet. "This is a lucritive alliance you ask for. We are a more defencive poeple, but you strick me as someone that seeks to cause war with all. By the terms of the agreement you have set forth we would have to aid you in that war. Though I may be dark i am no promotter of killing that means nothing to me." |
| Dyne04-15-05, 07:15 PM | The Half-Fiend shrugs off Greycloak's comments. "Take it or leave it. How you choose to interpret the terms of the alliance is up to you. But I wouldn't take this guild as the type that judges people based on their appearance." |
| Cazic04-15-05, 07:23 PM | Granis lets out a loud roar of laughter and looks the man in the eyes. "You apperance means nothing to me sir. If you think the apperance of a half-fiend scares me then you are most greatly mistaken. I lived in a land ruled by Vampire until I was free and found the Bright Sister. You "appearance" is quite beautiful compared to the things I saw in those lands." Granis goes into another fit of laughter. " "Appearance" now thats a funny one. Hahaha. Dear sir you need never worry about your "appearance" around me." Granis still laughs to himself about what has been said. |
| Dyne04-15-05, 07:38 PM | "I meant your 'hunch' that I am the war-mongering sort. Certainly it was based on my appearance. If not that, what else?" |
| Cazic04-15-05, 07:44 PM | "Your offer. It leaves so much open for you to abus the power it would give you over us. That is my "hunch." Tell me who do you serve? " |
| Dyne04-15-05, 07:55 PM | "I am an associate of one known as the Storm Hand for his great power. I assure you, I have nothing to hide." |
| Cazic04-15-05, 08:04 PM | "I see, if you wish to continue this conversation you will need to speak with the guild leader. He is around here somewhere." |
| Dyne04-16-05, 04:57 PM | "Very well. Where is the leader of this guild so that I might speak with him?" Trin, the Half-Fiend, wraps himself in the black robe again, drawing his hood up around his head. |
| Demonfey04-16-05, 08:23 PM | {The floating illusion Crowley head turns to the newcomer.} Sulkyr has told me he has seen you at the GOUE, speaking of mercenary armies and how to prepare for war. |
| Dyne04-16-05, 08:28 PM | "Sulkyr must have been mistaken. I have never been at the Guild of Ultimate Evil." Although Stormhand was at the Guild of Ultimate Evil, Trin was never there. Demonfey, aren't Crowley and Sulkyr part of the Guild of Ultimate Evil? |
| Cazic04-16-05, 08:29 PM | Crowley isnt with anyone now since he is trapped on another plane. |
| necrodude1604-16-05, 09:00 PM | Why do you wish to speak to me??A booming comes from all around. Then suddenly all goes black and when the light returns, Kayne Shadowborne stands infront of you. |
| Dyne04-16-05, 09:09 PM | "I would like to offer an alliance between the Stormhand and his associates with the Children of the Planes." |
| Cazic04-16-05, 09:49 PM | "Before I accept any offer you make to me I must know.... Do your ranks welcome Vampires?" |
| Demonfey04-16-05, 09:58 PM | Shouldn't you ask about werewolves as well? Just to be sure and whatnot? |
| Dyne04-16-05, 10:06 PM | "We have no vampires nor lycanthropes among our ranks, I can assure you. The majority of our group is made up of Humans, Elves, Gnomes, and some others of the common races." |
| Demonfey04-16-05, 10:17 PM | "We have no vampires nor lycanthropes among our ranks, I can assure you. The majority of our group is made up of Humans, Elves, Gnomes, and some others of the common races." And Granis here just so happens to be both. |
| Cazic04-16-05, 10:20 PM | "We have no vampires nor lycanthropes among our ranks, I can assure you. The majority of our group is made up of Humans, Elves, Gnomes, and some others of the common races." "I didnt not ask if you had them. I asked do you welcome Vampires." Granis spits this words out through gritted teeth and through visable effort to restrain his anger. |
| Dyne04-16-05, 10:22 PM | "I wouldn't know. It has never come up, and I don't make such decisions. Would you like for us to welcome Vampires and Werewolves?" |
| Cazic04-16-05, 10:44 PM | "I wouldn't know. It has never come up, and I don't make such decisions. Would you like for us to welcome Vampires and Werewolves?" "You would welcome them. I can smell it on you." As Granis Greywolf the Vampire-Bane says this his teeth seem to grow larger and sharper. "Your breed would welcome any to your ranks." As he says this the hair on his body grows longer and thicker turning into fur. "I tell you this now. Any who would join with a Vampire will never have the aid of myself, my pack, my people, or my Goddess!" While saying this he finishes the trasformation into his Awoken Lycanthyr form; changing to a huge size, towering over most of those here, the four dark wings of this form spring from his back and all his Werewolf heritage shows throw in his silver-grey fur, long bone white claws, and his glowing blood red eyes seem aflame with anger. OOC: Did I forget to metion the Granis's people HATE Vampires. I could have sworn I told you this. :D But no matter if you had done your homework you would have known that in all but his last 2 posts it said "Granis Greywolf the Vampire-Bane speaking" |
| Cazic04-16-05, 10:49 PM | Shouldn't you ask about werewolves as well? Just to be sure and whatnot? Since Granis's people hate vampires if the answer to "Do you welcome vamps?" is yes then weither they welcome Lycans or not is meaningless. :D |
| Dyne04-16-05, 11:09 PM | "I don't see what's to get excited about. I have never had any contact with vampires. Can't say I like the beasts. If you would like to inquire about this, perhaps I could trouble my leader to visit here in person, and you could ask him yourself." I know, I'm just playing the character how he would act. Trin is a diplomat, the kind that likes to slither his way through negotiations. |
| Cazic04-16-05, 11:15 PM | "I don't see what's to get excited about. I have never had any contact with vampires. Can't say I like the beasts. If you would like to inquire about this, perhaps I could trouble my leader to visit here in person, and you could ask him yourself." "Then bring your master here!" I know, I'm just playing the character how he would act. Trin is a diplomat, the kind that likes to slither his way through negotiations. I guessed as much since he went from "We might welcome Vamps." to "I hate Vamps!" :D Also if anything he does is rude or you find it insulting dont take it personaly. I will be RPing. In reality I love Vamps, but thought a burning hatered like Granis's would mix things up in the forum. :) |
| Cazic04-17-05, 01:00 PM | Did we ever finish deciding on who is going to share the Demi-plane with us? |
| Dyne04-17-05, 08:05 PM | "I will inform my leader, but he is a very busy man. Perhaps this should be finished later." Trin leaves the Children of the Planes, his staff clunking against the floor. |
| Dyne04-18-05, 08:49 PM | A man in black plate armor with violet symbols emblazen upon it enters the guild halls of the Children of the Planes. A deep violet cloak billows behind him as he strides toward the center of the room. "I am Stormhand. I am told I am needed here concerning negotiations. It seems there have been some inquiries regarding Vampires, among other things." "Concerning Vampires, I have only come across one in my lifetime, and I killed him. Does that alleviate your doubts?" He says this, looking at Greywolf. "It is my understanding that the Children of the Planes feels threatened and vulnerable to certain beings of the outside world. I assure you, with me on your side, you would no longer have any threats. My forces would be more than enough to defend you against any outside force. Does that interest you?" Stormhand pauses a moment to let his words sink in and allow time to consider them. "As I am certain you have heard from my messenger, I would like to make the Children of the Planes an offer. My men and myself would pledge our support to the Children of the Planes, to promise to fight in the name of the Children of the Planes against its enemies, as well as to perform tasks asked of us. In exchange, we ask for friendship, to be called an ally of the Children of the Planes, and to always be welcome within the halls of the Children of the Planes. Additionally, we would require a small amount of financial support in order to maintain our forces; to better serve the Children of the Planes. What say you?" EDIT: Wait, wasn't I already a member here? Or was that the other thread? 'Cause I'm not on the Members List.... :allalone: |
| Cazic04-18-05, 11:19 PM | He says this, looking at Greycloak. It is Greywolf. :P |
| Cazic04-18-05, 11:22 PM | "I am Stormhand. I am told I am needed here concerning negotiations. It seems there have been some inquiries regarding Vampires, among other things." "Concerning Vampires, I have only come across one in my lifetime, and I killed him. Does that alleviate your doubts?" He says this, looking at Greywolf. Granis eyes the man doughtfully. "We shall see...." |
| Dyne04-18-05, 11:45 PM | It is Greywolf. :P I coulda sworn you said Greycloak at some point. |
| Dyne04-18-05, 11:49 PM | Granis eyes the man doughtfully. "We shall see...." "Indeed." He awaits a reply from the leader of the Children of the Planes. Where has Necrodude gotten off to? |
| necrodude1604-19-05, 04:26 AM | I would like to introduce to the members of the guild,Our newest allies.Kayne Majestically waves his hand towards Stormhand. After a while, Kayne shows Stormhand to another room in the castle. Now, will you be requireing a place for you and your men to stay? |
| Dyne04-21-05, 05:44 PM | Sorry I haven't really been able to post. "That would be greatly appreciated. I will send for my men to garrison the castle. If you wouldn't mind, though, I would like a room now. I could use some rest. Afterwards, there are things to discuss." |
| thasis04-21-05, 05:55 PM | "Ahhhhh, fresh blood. New ones are always fun to play with *cough* I mean help out". Thasis chuckles quitely. "Hmmmm, well I'm glad that we're attracting more attention. More power is always good" |
| necrodude1604-21-05, 08:00 PM | "Ahhhhh, fresh blood. New ones are always fun to play with *cough* I mean help out". Thasis chuckles quitely. "Hmmmm, well I'm glad that we're attracting more attention. More power is always good" Now thasis, you will treat our new ally with respect. ;) Now Mr Stormhand, you said we have things to discuss. |
| Dyne04-22-05, 01:10 AM | Now thasis, you will treat our new ally with respect. ;) Now Mr Stormhand, you said we have things to discuss. Yes. First, could you add my name to the Members List and Stormhand to Alliances? Other than that should be discussed away from prying ears. *Looks around suspiciously* But first: sleep. EDIT: Necrodude, clean out your PM box. |
| necrodude1604-22-05, 03:06 AM | I am now ready for that talk, Stormhand.Kaynes says with a refreshing smile on his face. OOC:I'm working on a new indroduction for the front page, detailing the history of the guild and what we do. If anyone would like to add anything, please Pm me. :D |
| necrodude1604-22-05, 09:18 PM | Kayne returns from his meeting with stormhand with a slight smile rarely seen upon his face. I'm glad that's done.He says peacefully. He announces telepathetically to all members of the guild that he has made and alliance and deal with Stormhand and his "others". They will share our plane for the time with Stormhand and his friends. They will be granted the tower to the north of the plane, that was going to be for the Council of Archmages. In return for a small amount of money to fund a venture, Stormhand has promised us a small share of the products he gets on his venture. |
| Dyne04-23-05, 12:57 AM | Outside, a host of men can be heard marching toward the castle. Looking out the window, you can see a number of warriors in black armor and the familiar violet symbol of Stormhand. You can also see figures in violet robes with black symbols, and each walks with a staff. Heading the column are two lightly armored men bearing the dual colors of the Children of the Planes and Stormhand. The group halts in front of the gate, and one of the flag-bearers calls upward. "Stormhand calls us to here. We are here to aid the Children of the Planes, defending it against invaders, and add our intelligence to your own." |
| necrodude1604-23-05, 03:46 AM | Well met people of Stormhand, Kayne says with a smile as he appears infront of them. I will escort you to the place where you are staying. :D |
| Dyne04-23-05, 01:44 PM | The men follow Kayne to their quarters, where they set up their gear and make themselves at home. Afterward, some of the warriors patrol the halls of the castle and atop the surrounding wall, while some of the spellcasters explore the library. Wizards, go figure. :D |
| thasis04-23-05, 03:10 PM | In the middle of the chambers a dark portal opens. With just enough time you peer through it seeing a dark realm full of waters made of green sludge, monsters wandering around killing all in sight, and the average person commiting henious crimes. Out of the portol quickly jumps a cloaked figure. The portol quickly shuts behind him. He walks up to Thasis and bows. Thasis gestures for him to rise. "Ahhhhh, this is my...um.... friend. He will be aiding me in some buisness I have. If you don't mind could he attend any meeting with me since I need him around at pretty much all times?". With that Thasis walks away heading to the Guild of Ultimate Evil. "I will be back. I just have some buisness that needs taking care of there" |
| necrodude1604-23-05, 08:44 PM | Farewell Thasis........ |
| Dyne04-28-05, 08:01 PM | :bump: Anyone want to accompany me to the Storm Peaks on an expedition to establish a Resource Collection Facility and a stronghold? |
| thasis04-29-05, 12:21 PM | You see Thasis returns. "It looks like the Guild of Ultimate Evil is relitevily empty for now. I'll come help you on your little strongholld project cause I have nothing better to do. Is this stronghold going to be evil though? cause I don't have much experiance with non evil strongholds...." |
| Dyne04-29-05, 07:59 PM | That reminds me, I need someone with the Stronghold Builder's Guidebook to help me work out the stats. "I'm afraid not. If you have architectural experience, then it would be good to have you help in its design. But, I'm more concerned with the expedition to get there at the moment. Your combat skills would be very welcome, if you would be willing to defend the wagon train against enemies." |
| Dyne04-30-05, 07:05 PM | Just wondering, what are your guys' alignments? |
| thasis05-01-05, 01:11 AM | Thasis grins "I'm very good at architecs. And my combat abilities are formidable indeed. I will help you on the design of the stronghold and the expedition to the construction site. Where exactly is this area that you plan to build this stronghold on?" And I have 3 characters of each alignment. Neutrul Evil, Neutrul, and Neutrul Good. My main character I use da most is my evil character. |
| Frostbite_Ravenheart05-01-05, 01:20 AM | The CoA and the CoTP have been allies for awhile. The in-game leader of the CoTP is one of two in-game leaders for the CoA. The other In-game CoA is also a member of the CoTp... If you can follow that you relize that this guild is pretty tight. How tight are we? Can we trust eachother enough to live together? I propose that the Cotp and the CoA "move in" together to from one very big and very strong foundation stronghold. We share many similar aspects such as having very diverse alingments, races and specialities within our seperate foundations. Both foundations have extreme knowldge of very obsecure and unknown things. What say the rest of you? -Frosty |
| necrodude1605-01-05, 03:44 AM | As Head of The organization, i agree with Frostbite's Plans to gather the Coa and The Cotp as one. Together we are stronger, together we are smarter, Together we conquer, Together we stand. Kayne moves forward to shake the hand of his new ally. |
| Dyne05-01-05, 02:22 PM | I guess so. But, we'd really be having like 4 foundations under the same roof: the Stormhand Federation, GoUE, CoA, and CotP. It would be nice to have "clear boundaries" between the sections of the CoA and the CotP, for the sake of comfort. We probably wouldn't like it a whole heck of a lot to be stacked on top of each other all the time. Just a little space. |
| Dyne05-01-05, 04:06 PM | Thasis grins "I'm very good at architecs. "Very well. Follow me." Stormhand strides out of the Children of the Planes, heading toward the staging area of the mission. |
| thasis05-02-05, 10:02 AM | Thasis cautiously follows Stormhand constantly watching for threats. I don't think that the two guilds should go together. I say to many good spellcasters on the CoAM and to many evil Outsiders on the CotP. Wouldn't work out in a closed living enviroment. Even though we claim to be neutrul guilds, we are dominently controlled by one alignment, and so are they. But that's jus my 2 cents. |
| Frostbite_Ravenheart05-02-05, 03:36 PM | Thasis cautiously follows Stormhand constantly watching for threats. I don't think that the two guilds should go together. Even though we claim to be neutrul guilds, we are dominently controlled by one alignment, and so are they. But that's jus my 2 cents. I'll agree the former CoA had many good aligned people but we also had more people, playing at least. I think its balanced the way it is, I may be good but I'm also a politician. So I'll easily let things slide. I may even consider an alignment change if it means more power. -Frosty |
| necrodude1606-05-05, 12:42 AM | Long after the sacred guild house was abandoned, a lone figure moves about the building once feared and respected throughout the planes. He sits, silently on a majestic dust covered throne at the head of a large table. He closes his eyes and whispers "Live". At that word, color and renewed heart spews forth and envelops the castle. As he stands, he surveys the castle now looking exactly as he had left it. Oncemore he speaks, "Come". |
| thasis06-05-05, 02:06 PM | Thasis the Evil suddenly apears. "I heard your call. I am hear and ready for service" Hoping to get this place back going aye? |
| Cazic06-05-05, 05:42 PM | Long after the sacred guild house was abandoned, a lone figure moves about the building once feared and respected throughout the planes. "You sommoned me, sir? My travels are at your command, but I warn you I have much going on right now. So much to do in hunting rouge creations and the insane, and setting up a network of spies." |
| thasis06-05-05, 07:19 PM | "Yes, please be quick for I also am involved in many activities right now" |
| Demonfey06-05-05, 08:42 PM | {A cloud of smoke and ash collests into a form similar to Crowleys, although it is clearly not a revival of his body, but a temporary shell} I hear your call and obey. |
| Cazic06-05-05, 09:17 PM | Oh crap!...... :mymy: I just remembered that my Wizard is not a member of this guild. This is what happens when you are in as many guilds as him. :banghead: Sooooooo.......... Can we just add my Wizard to the member list and pretend he already was a member? |
| necrodude1606-06-05, 02:04 AM | Yep ;) I have called you here to revitalise this guild we all once called home. When you are out there travelling the multivers I wish for you to inform others of our guild and it's benefits. |
| Dyne06-06-05, 01:53 PM | Oh crap!...... :mymy: I just remembered that my Wizard is not a member of this guild. This is what happens when you are in as many guilds as him. :banghead: Sooooooo.......... Can we just add my Wizard to the member list and pretend he already was a member? What about the Greycloak guy? Stormhand strides into the throne room, a unit of guards following him. His violet cloak billows behind him as he walks, and the violet symbols on his spiked black breastplate seem to burn brilliantly. Stormhand steps forward and kneels. "I am at your service. However, perhaps we should meet again in private. Many things have changed since our last meeting." |
| Cazic06-06-05, 01:57 PM | What about the Greycloak guy? You meen Greywolf? Ya but he has been bentched for now. My Wizard is doing a lot right now and that will take up a great deal of time and effort so I am going one PC for now. |
| Dyne06-13-05, 05:15 PM | King William of Bristol, also known as "The Stormhand," strides into the Children of the Planes headquarters and up to Kayne Shadowborne. "I tried to contact you before, but I received no reply. This is concerning our previous agreement. As circumstances have changed, it no longer fulfills its goal. As such, I request that either it become null and void, or it be revised to suit the current circumstances. What say you?" |
| necrodude1606-14-05, 01:47 AM | I suggest we renegotiate the terms of our contract. |
| Dyne06-14-05, 02:02 AM | "Here is my declaration: In exchange for your friendship and support, the Stormhand Federation agrees to sell reasonably priced resources to the Children of the Planes whenever they request and the Stormhand Federation is capable of fulfilling the request. Also, in exchange for this service and to ensure the Stormhand Federation's resource capabilities, the Children of the Planes agrees to defend the Stormhand Federation's resources from outside threats. What say you?" |
| necrodude1606-14-05, 10:33 PM | I would like input from any of the other guild members before making such a desicionKayne then silently moves out of his chair to oncemore survey his surroundings. |
| DolArrah06-14-05, 10:46 PM | A figure materializes, his form concealed by the light rippling fabric that was blown around by a sudden wind. I am pleased to meet you, at last. said the man, hiw pure voice ringing ou among those congregated. I, a member of your allies, The Warlock Circle, wish to be present at your meetings, as I have an interest in your cause. His perfectly crafted features stared out at all of the members, and the breeze that had once been strong now died out to almost nothing. My name is Dol Arrah and I am awaiting your descision. He bows his head, his hair rippling with the wind that came with him and turns his back, in truth waiting for the verdict. |
| Cazic06-14-05, 11:30 PM | Cazic looks up from his studies in a sunny part of the hall. "Hello Dol Arrah. Come to make new friends I see? You will find Stormhand and the CoTP to be strong allies to have at your side. I can vouge for that." Cazic then looks to Stormhand and (necrodude16). "This one is poweful and have provided things to the WC that have been most ...entertaining." |
| Dyne06-23-05, 12:59 AM | How 'bout that discussin'? What does everyone think of the terms of the agreement? It's much broader than before, not much more than an alliance, but I think it'd be better to work out the details as we come to them. I'll post at the Stormhand Federation, telling the members to add their input here. |
| DolArrah06-23-05, 07:29 AM | "I certainly remember you, Cazic. Yes I do . . ." His voice trails off, but he resumes talking. To the alliance, I would say nay, for I have never trusted many others. This seems to be in his favor. We get some cheap items, but then some of us can die, and I, for one, can't regenerate myself. Now, a good alliance woould be more along the lines of this: He stands up and waves his hand. Blueletters appear, reading: The Stormhand Federation and the Children of the Planes are allied under these following conditions. The first is a protection clause. If either of the two organizations request financial aid, it must be givin, unless, of course, the other has nothing to spare. The second is a service agreement. If either group needs something that the other has in abundance, they must be sold it at a reasonable price. The third is an alliance. Neither group may attack the other, nor may they attack an ally of the other organization. Is that to your both of your likings? |
| DolArrah06-23-05, 07:38 AM | Dol Arrah disappears after that pronouncement, but returns a second later and drops some parcels on the table. Sorry, I had just remembered something I wanted to give you. This is some lore from my father, who is willing to share it with you. Rod of Otherworldly Vigil Rod of Otherworldly Vigil A favored gift from creatures, like the planetouched, to their favored mortals, this rod is a symbol that you are liked by the creatures of another plane. It appears at first sight to be a long slender stick, perfectly crafted, almost the size of a staff. It is made of a wood that is unknown to mortals, but, on closer examination, you can feel the power radiating off of this otherworldly gift. Only one mortal may use this rod, and the creator can designate the recipient of the powers that are hidden inside the wand. As long as the rod is held by its owner, that person, as long as they are not an outsider, and undead, an aberration, a planetouched, elemental, fey, or any other creature the DM rules (like a creature with the extraplanar subtype), may get a +2 bonus on any stat as long as they are holding the rod. In addition, they may use the rod to, once per day, gain a +10 bonus on any two skills with the same key ability as the bonus on your ability score. Once chosen, it can never be changed. None; CR 14; Craft Rod, Creator must be a planetouched, aberration, outsider, elemental, fey, or undead. Cost 24,000 Armor of Mithral Fluidity Armor of Mithral Fluidity Created by the elementals of air, this suit of armor feels feather-light and its interlocking chains appear completely natural, as if the armor just grew into its form. It ways only 10 pounds, has no arcane spell failure, has a +6 max dexterity bonus and no armor check penalty. It can be worn under any clothing, without revealing what it is. The wearer can fly 3/day. | premier66606-23-05, 08:27 AM | a (short) guy with wild silver hair, deep black eyes, who uses a black kimono that has figures of storms in it enters the halls. He bowns down to stormhand. As you have called, I am here milord. The other members will probably arrive later. James "Darkstorm" Raynor take a look around at each of the present men (or things). He then looks back at Stormhand. It would seen that the terms presnted by Dol Arrah are fair. However, they could probably need some... Adjustments. |
| Dyne06-23-05, 01:43 PM | Stormhand turns toward Raynor. "Thank you, Captain." "I certainly remember you, Cazic. Yes I do . . ." His voice trails off, but he resumes talking. To the alliance, I would say nay, for I have never trusted many others. This seems to be in his favor. We get some cheap items, but then some of us can die, and I, for one, can't regenerate myself. If either group needs something that the other has in abundance, they must be sold it at a reasonable price. The third is an alliance. Neither group may attack the other, nor may they attack an ally of the other organization. Is that to your both of your likings? "I had more in mind than a trading agreement and a nonagression pact. This should be included: The Stormhand Federation and the Children of the Planes must always support the interests of their ally. If one goes to war against an enemy, the other must also go to war against that enemy, at the side of their ally. Whether in times of peace or war, the two organizations must stand as one, or there is no alliance." |
| DolArrah06-23-05, 05:19 PM | But, what if one foundation attacks an ally of the other? Also, it is unjust to force one group to attack another group they are indifferent to. If they were enemies, that is a different story. Maybe a voting clause, where the members voted on attacking? |
| premier66606-25-05, 07:57 PM | If this were the case, then they wouldn't be true allies would they?Captain Darkstorm laughs softly and is possible to hear some thunders outside of the halls. That's what alliances are for, to force all of the allies to go against a single enemy. In the case of an allie attacking another, the other allies have to stay neutral, and cannot interfere in any case. Simple as that. In any other cases, all allies of a foundation that is attacked are forced to go to war, or be considered untrustfull. |
| Cazic06-25-05, 08:11 PM | "Hahaha...it's like being back home in the Underdark. Are we to start excepting a dagger to the heart as a natural cause of death now? If so please tell me so I may tell the Assasins, for I know they will love that information. Hahaha." |
| premier66606-26-05, 12:58 PM | (You mean... it's not? I always thought it was!! Oh well, :( in that case, I better investigate some deaths in the other clans :D .) Raynor waits for a more formal response while he playing with some lighting in his hands. |
| Dyne06-28-05, 12:15 AM | But, what if one foundation attacks an ally of the other? Also, it is unjust to force one group to attack another group they are indifferent to. If they were enemies, that is a different story. Maybe a voting clause, where the members voted on attacking? "Vote? This is not a democracy. If the Children of the Planes were to abandon us, we would consider them our enemy." He turns to Raynor (premier666). "Indeed, Captain, that is what I had in mind." Stormhand awaits a reply from Kayne Shadowborne (necrodude16). |
| DolArrah06-28-05, 06:46 PM | Where I come from, every creature is flighty and independant. You either need a liberal democracy, powerful dictatorship, or strong bonds of friendship to force others to follow you. I will not attack any one who I do not wish too, unless we put it at a majority vote. That is final! The newest member of the Children wears such an angry face that, even those present who are not the target of his anger shudder involuntarily. |
| premier66606-28-05, 07:43 PM | Raynor smiles at such a pathetic show of emotion. Well, I believe, and please correct me if I'm wrong, that this is something Kayne Shadowborn (Necrodude) or Crowley Maelhaeveck (Demonofey) can decide. Also, you should be carefull to whom you direct your anger, as some may think you are threateninng us. His eyes show a small eletric bright, that sugest that deep inside, exits some incredible power. |
| DolArrah06-28-05, 07:53 PM | His anger fades and he sits back down. A profound sadness is present in his eyes. His voice becomes low and depressed, Yes, I guess it is, and I hope they make the right choice . . . I sincerely hope they do . . . |
| Dyne06-28-05, 11:38 PM | Stormhand is not affected by DolArrah's display of emotions. "What you wish is not my concern. You are not of the Stormhand Federation, so I will not monitor your actions. However, the outline I lay down for the alliance is final. Either the Children of the Planes accepts them, or there is no alliance." Stormhand's disposition is stern. Keep in mind that Stormhand (William Bristol) is Lawful Neutral, and slightly tyrannical. |
| necrodude1606-29-05, 12:54 AM | Stormhand is not affected by DolArrah's display of emotions. "What you wish is not my concern. Of course we would except your terms as the idea of attacking each other is quite proposterous. (OOC: I'm A GM.... :D ) |
| Dyne06-29-05, 03:08 PM | "Excellent. We look forward to dealing with you in the future. However, there are pressing matters at hand that I must attend to." With that, Stormhand turns and strides out of the Children of the Planes. |
| premier66606-30-05, 02:31 PM | Capitain Raynor Bows to everyone in the room. It's good to see you've made the right decision. Now, I must take my leave. Farewell. With that, he disappear in a flash of lighting. |
| Frostbite_Ravenheart08-18-05, 05:18 PM | . Keep in mind that Stormhand (William Bristol) is Lawful Neutral, and slightly tyrannical. slightly? -Frosty |
| Arshes08-18-05, 06:16 PM | doesn't stormhand pay homage to the god of tyranny? i thought typhos was the lord of tyrannts and all those who wish to rule over others. |
| Zombomaniac08-18-05, 09:06 PM | doesn't stormhand pay homage to the god of tyranny? i thought typhos was the lord of tyrannts and all those who wish to rule over others. No. Dyne made a God of Storms called Typhos without knowing about the other god. There is a Typhos of tyranny and the Stormhand Federation Typhos. |
| Dyne08-21-05, 12:32 AM | The Stormhand Federation deity is now called Typhoeus, to avoid confusion (except I might still accidentally call him Typhos without realizing it). |
| Dyne08-27-05, 11:05 AM | Stormhand strides into the Children of the Planes. He once again dons his armor and has a greatsword resting on his back. "War has been declared, and I come here to call upon an old alliance." |
| necrodude1608-27-05, 07:45 PM | The Children of The Planes will stand behind the Stormhand Federation for the entirity of the guild wars.Kayne says calmly as he strides forward from the shadows. |
| Dyne08-27-05, 07:57 PM | Stormhand is put slightly at ease by Kayne's statement, and it suddenly occurs to you that he is actually very tired from the recent events. "It cannot be described how pleased I am to hear that. I will not put the Children of the Planes in unnecessary danger. However, if your aid is needed, I shall contact you at once. "As you probably know by now, war has been declared between the Tyranorian Royal Guard and the Stormhand Federation. Our enemies may strike out against the Children of the Planes for being our ally, so I would suggest making necessary defensive preparations." He turns for the door. "If you need me, you know how to contact me. Until then, may fortune be with you." He then strides out of the Children of the Planes halls, and immediately upon stepping outside he teleports to his next destination. |
