| Darastrix06-21-03, 09:58 PM | Sign me up little brother with the exception I'm only half. Lol.... Dragons when run correctly should be the most feared creatures. Sadly most DMs do not take advantage of their stats or expand them. Sadder still most DMs do little to describe the effect one will have on your PC. Long live Darastrix..... Maybe we should call it the Darastrix Foundation. |

| Sarzyn06-21-03, 10:17 PM | Hey sign me up to!!! I love chromatic dragons:angel: |
| Tenzhi06-21-03, 10:18 PM | Dragons... oldest and noblest of all races. We need not advertise ourselves with a tacky foundation like lesser races. Our greatness speaks for itself. |
| Orcy The Green Wonder06-21-03, 11:09 PM | Tenzhi, you almost had Orcy thinking you were going to join this one. And those "lesser races" have beaten many a dragon, keep that in mind. That goes for the rest of you as well, do not grow arrogant with your years, they are far fewer than you would hope. (this is not a threat, or an attempt at a flame, Orcy simply wishes to share some wisdom) |

That does not increase the virus' stature - least it shall remain. And lesser shall remain lesser. |
| grimclaw06-22-03, 02:19 AM | Tenzhi, you should go over to the human foundation.there is about to be a major battle between all the "lesser races" question,do you leave your lair often?:D |
| Tenzhi06-22-03, 02:32 AM | I was doing a bit to stoke the fires of that multiracial battle. I just haven't deigned to visit the worthless humans. Elves are more worthy of my wrath... indeed, it's about the only thing they are worthy of. |
| Dragon Master06-22-03, 03:33 AM | Why is a dragon foundation on the races boards? Shouldn't it be somewhere in the monster lair? |
| grendle06-22-03, 04:10 AM | i am new and did not know. |
| grimclaw06-22-03, 04:24 AM | who is going to argue with a pack of dragons? |
| Dragon Master06-22-03, 04:29 AM | A Dragon Master, who else? Oh, and possibly those people who are soooo against foundations because they think they are spam (and i happen to agree thats some of them are spam, not all, but this one is, sorry guys). Oh, and i think Dox has got some plan for the foundations- they're a waste of space and entitle a certian point of view, which only ever leads to flamming. I will leave you guys alone now however, as i do not wish to destroy your attempts at making a foundation (i may be against it, but i respect your right to do so). |
| Jamma06-22-03, 08:03 PM | hay orecy com join the minotuar foundation from a fellow halforc. hay don't jion the dragon foudation join the minotuar foundation. :b: :b: :b:    |

Maybe we should call it the Darastrix Foundation. I agree wit Darastrix, Dragons are never taken seriously and DMs don't run them to their full potential and that as a foundation we should stand up to those DM's and insist that they don't disgrace the word dragon with whimpy look a likes. | BladeBoy06-25-03, 04:54 PM | yeah, i'm only a half dragon too, but i want in. this looks interesting:D |
| Wizard06-25-03, 07:14 PM | Dragons, if played correctly, should be basically invincible. I personally hate fighting Wyrmling dragons. It sort of makes the whole dragon thing a little cliche. In spite of this, my DM became my new vote for Mensa when he had me continually fighting a specific red dragon at every age category-from wyrmling to great wyrm. I was a wizard (hence the name) and kept getting reincarnated, following up with a polymorph self made permanent. The dragon, meanwhile, kept on in its evil deeds (masqueraded as a king for a while before I found it). It made for a great climax to three years of one campaign when we duked it out in this tremendously cool aerial battle. The DM jacked up the dragon with magic items to compensate for my extensive cone of cold scroll library. That was a final battle. Also, sign me up as #3. |
| Jamma06-25-03, 07:15 PM | why dose every body like dragons. you should join the minotur foundation . instead of the dragon foundation . ahh!!! dragon breath use a tic tac plz!!!!!!!!! :smirk: :b: :b:  |
| Tenzhi06-25-03, 07:31 PM | Minotaurs are cool, but I prefer Yak Men. |
| Gladius_Lucix06-25-03, 07:48 PM | I would like to join. While a chromatic dragon can (and should) be a party's worst enemy, a metallic dragon can be a party's best ally. As powerful as the chromatic dragons, but benevolent. |
| Mraven6606-25-03, 07:54 PM | I will join as well. It is high time that we dragons rose up into the skies and rode winds freely as we did when the world was new. Long live The Great Wyrm! |

Orcy doesn't want to give any of those foundation haters a reason to close foundations down. Oh, and hullo dragons. Well there is no need to be. And I didn't say go to all the boards and start a flamewar. But I also don't see the need to be friend with each and everybody (especialy the haugthy races like elves). | cancundragon07-08-03, 07:49 PM | FONT=times new roman]There used to be an ability that would alow a half dragon to change into a full dragon, does anyone know how it works or if it is still active? I know that it was used on gold and silver dragons and on their kin each time they transformed they would lose there other traits and features or something of the such. If anyone can help me out please do.[/FONT] |
| Iason07-08-03, 08:11 PM | The epic Dragon Disciple transforms into the likeness of a true dragon as he progresses in levels... I also think i saw something about druids wild-shaping into dragons in a Dragon magazine... But i have never heard about the ability you mention... is it a permanent change??? or is t more like the druids wild shape??? It shouldn't be THAT difficult to come up with an abillity or maybe a spell to do what you describe... I might have a go at it... *reaches for the stack of D&D books* |

| cancundragon07-08-03, 08:16 PM | If the gold dragon changes into elf he should share the ability to change to his kin right |
| cancundragon07-08-03, 08:20 PM | In what book is the spell detailed? |
| Iason07-08-03, 08:22 PM | There isn' any... i was thinking of creating it.... Anyhows... a half-dragon's (permanent) change into a full dragon would be somewhat of an event... it would require either the intervention of a deity or an epic spell i think.... |

| cancundragon07-08-03, 08:25 PM | the change is not perm. but it does last for several rounds. where can i find the info for those spells or feats. I know that dragon blooded feat is needed too but the info is just on the tip of my tounge. |
| cancundragon07-08-03, 08:29 PM | which spell do you recomend to use or relate it with? |
| cancundragon07-08-03, 08:33 PM | ? no clues? |
| BladeBoy07-08-03, 08:36 PM | My DM house ruled that it was..5 wishes to turn into a dragon? But i think that was only if they were a half dragon in the first place. if that's any help |
| Iason07-08-03, 08:36 PM | Working on it... I'll browse through the books... concuct an epic spell, or something... Patience Daniel-Zan.... :D |
| Lyssiah Storm07-09-03, 12:18 AM | guess I don't count... since I have yet to receive ANY kind of answer! Besides.... Dragon's may be mighty powerful..... but they are worth KILLING too! |

| drachentoeter08-01-03, 03:19 AM | I guess if it wasn't for the memberlistings this thread would soon disappear in the electronic nirwana. Apparently we have not much to say beyond "we love dragons". I kind of get a feeling that unless somebody comes up with some real dragondiscussion all we are is spam. Maybe advice on how to come up with dragons that actually use their powers in new and smart ways, so that PCs run screaming even if it's just a little dragon. Usually PCs beat dragons because they get to pick the battlefield, the dragon acts like a retarded teen (believing stupid bluffs, landing in front of the meleefighter instead of on top of the mage, landing at all, not knowing when to retreat, sleeping in a cave where it can hardly stretch its wings and flying is impossible). All that despite the fact that they are supposed to be cunning agesold creatures and spellcasters. You know one or the other red one might figure it out eventualy that adventures like to get fireprotection when dealing with them. Nasty surprise if they run into electricity or dispel magic traps or drop in a puddle of acid. Anybody got a nice lair out there? Well let's hear about it. I promise we'll keep it inside the foundation. Just good for laughs about the futile attempts of those pesky adventurers. Grab yourself a tasty elf or two and tell us all about it.;) edited bad bad spelling mistake |

| Demon Lightfoot08-05-03, 02:43 AM | I love dragons; without them, I wouldn't have such stylish spellbook covers, spiff dragon-leather clothing, dragon-claw crystal ball stand or the huge amounts of magical and monetary wealth in my vaults. And let's not forget all of those sweetsweet juicy XP...:cloud9: Thanks, dragons!:cookie: |
| Iason08-05-03, 03:29 AM | Well the Dragon Foundation continues to grow... however i do agree with drachentoeter that we need to be discussing dragon tactics and the like more :D So here is a personal favorite of mine from the Book of Challenges, where a wyrmling green dragon really makes the best out of it's breath weapon... The PC's enter a 15-foot-by-15-foot room. The cieling is 20 feet overhead... The room is empty except for an opening in the wall that looks like a tunnel only a few feet in diameter (the dragon lurks in the tunnel). The dragon hdes near the entrance and attacks by using his breath weapon which fills the whole room and then retreating 40 feet back into the tunnel. If the PC's follow only one can attack at a time. If not the dragon returns when it can use its breath weapon again. The cramped conditions in the tunnel imposes a lot of penalties to M size PC's and gives the dragon an edge in the fight. Also the cramped tunnel makes sure that the players will be hit by the dragon's breath weapon once they pursue it :D I have run this encounter a few times and it really works quite well... My players gained a new (and appopriate) respect for dragons (if the smal ones are that nasty think about what the large ones can do)... |
| Nerfix08-07-03, 05:16 AM | *BUMP* Give Red Dragon Cone of Cold and/or Ice Storm. |
| Yaztromo08-10-03, 02:19 PM | posted by Nerfix *BUMP* Give Red Dragon Cone of Cold and/or Ice Storm Or you could put his lair someplace unexpected. Imagine the PCs in an arctic wasteland, Big Bad comes along, melts the iceburg, the PCs don't even have time to say 'what's he doing here?' |
| Iason08-10-03, 03:43 PM | I'm not really shure that there's enough "firepower" in a red dragon to melt an entire iceberg... But it certianly could make for an interesting ambush if the dragon uses its breath to breach a wall of ice that the players thought solid... |
| cabetardo09-22-03, 10:56 PM | come on plz dragons rule. we only need to get the rabbits like for sex and bie bie other races. Im number 21 plz though my father was a dragon and my mother an elf im soo happy with myself:D |
| Iason09-23-03, 01:40 AM | Ahhhh... almost forgot the scaled society. I have been meaning to ask my draconic brothers: Dracons with class levels! Any experiences and/or ideas? Should it be done ot should you stick to HD advancement? I recently created a juvenile blue dragon with 3 levels of rogue and threw it at my players... Though they defeated it it was one of the most interresting fights I've seen yet so I'm considering doing something similar again... |
| cabetardo10-02-03, 11:51 AM | Dragon power!!! i just set a 3 juvenile red dragons behing a mountain they just made the pc have a hard time. both dragons and PC´s survived txs to the mother which is a very old Red dragon. Both PC and dragons fled from a powerful storm. Very good idea.(i made this so more members can join) :D :smirk: :invasion: :whatsthis |
| Ashes_the_Red10-02-03, 02:24 PM | ( the sound of creaking leathern wings and the rustle of scales is heard) " I would be most interested in joining a gathering of Wyrms, and the chance to discuss the trials and tribulations of the ages that are a dragon's life....." Hailing from the council of wyrms Ashes the red, known by more than a few other names.... Mountain breaker to the dwarves Bane of forests to the elves Red death to the orcs the great calamity to the halflings and Ashes by the rest.... I would be honored to join your foundation and offer up my experiance and dragon lore:devil: |
| Iason10-02-03, 03:03 PM | Hehe... welcome great one... You honor us halfbreeds with your presence... :D |
| Ashes_the_Red10-02-03, 03:44 PM | Well I for one as a member of the Dragon race have never sat on my scales and watched the world go by.... I mean what is the point of all this intellect and power and money if you never get to use it. as such I have found a more interesting outlet, the manipulation of people and nations! ( dragons more than almost any creature have the capacity for incrediblely long range plans and plots, one of which and my most recent is the building of a cult of fanaticaly loyal kobold worshippers, all a dragon must do is protect them from their enemies for a few generations and presto...loyal servants, give a few choice followers some nice items from your horde ( on loan of course) and make the others train and prepare and before you know it you have a vast network of spies and operatives) OOC: what I am getting at is you can begin using dragons in campaigns at low level through the use of underlings, and if done well it may be quite awhile before they ( the PCs that is) begin to realize what they may be up against. In the meantime your Big daddy dragon can be plotting the downfall of kingdoms, and the rise of new ones, and you may ask why?, why would a dragon even bother with this, well my answer at least for me is Why not? It would likely be a most interesting diversion and even fun for the old wyrm, it could even be the reason why so many half-dragons are made...perhaps to be called upon in the future, to further another one of the wyrms schemes.... as you see dragons have alot of potential as challenges even beyond their hitdice and breath weapon, so put those 20+ intelligences and charismas to work and start undermining societies. (This was brought to you by the KMFDM "Kobold,Movement,For ,Destruction,of Mankind" a proud supporter of evil dragons everywhere. |

| Yipwyg the Mighty10-02-03, 06:36 PM | I wish to join this foundation. I have made a red dragon fighter as a character, and they have unlimited usages as villains. I had one which torched cities for bragging rights, another who poisoned the minds of all of the World leaders, then took charge and put his children and descendants into positions of power within his government. |
| Joneleth Talshara10-04-03, 01:49 AM | As a DM, I am very, very fond of using dragons as adversaries or allies. When done well, they are the bane of adventurers. Minus the blasted min-maxed mages with DC50 disintegrate spells, of course. :D Dragons, to put it bluntly, rock. Pity that this is a 'Dragons as PCs' foundation rather than 'Dragons as Monsters', or I'd be very, very glad to join in. IMO, they don't work as PCs unless in a setting such as Council of Wyrms. |
| drachentoeter10-04-03, 07:01 AM | Last time I checked this was the dragon foundation and not the dragons as pc's foundation. Of course most members happen to run halfdragons as pc's, but that doesn't mean you have to. So if dragons are your thing I'm sure you're more than welcome. |
| Joneleth Talshara10-04-03, 09:38 AM | Last time I checked this was the dragon foundation and not the dragons as pc's foundation. Of course most members happen to run halfdragons as pc's, but that doesn't mean you have to. So if dragons are your thing I'm sure you're more than welcome. It is situated in the PHB playable races board instead of the MM monsters board, however. Logical assumption. Ah well. |
| drachentoeter10-04-03, 04:13 PM | Well, I guess it's just that, an assumption. But since the majority of members runs dragon pc's it probably fits better in the races board than in the monsters board. I for myself don't run a dragon pc, just thought, well to put it bluntly, dragons rock . And as a sidenote, next time fry those pesky mages first. After all they don't have a whole lot of hitpoints. Given the fact that usually you have all the time in the world to prepare for their arrival, you are smarter than most mages and there is some entertainment to be had watching them struggle and fail, every adventurer should think twice before setting out to meet a dragon on his own turf.:smirk: Transform mud to rock has served as a nice lair trap for me. The poor party came upon a more or less harmless magical trap (none really are) plus the ceiling was a shitload of mud that had been transformed to rock. Guess what, they dispelled the trap and the ceilling came down. With a lucky roll (or dice fudging), one of the pc's stayed out of the mud coming down and rescued his more unfortunate comrades. They had barely survived the first 100 feet into the lair. The dragon was aware of their coming and started wondering if he would have to get up in the end and finish them off (probably not he thought), since it had been a very long time that anybody had made it past the entry trap. |
| Getarnal_the_Drow10-04-03, 05:14 PM | I love DRAGONS and I recently created a half-DRAGON PC for an online game, and in a recent session I used a red DRAGON which nearly wiped out the entire group before being killed by some lucky crits. Put simply DRAGONS rule. (can I join the foundation) |

| Waterless11-04-03, 08:00 PM | Heh, I'd like to sign up... Ah luhrfs teh dray-gons... :B On a serious note...I havn't been in a major game in a while, but, were I to DM again, I think that I'd probably use dragons to a silly degree. For instance, my current idea is to have two dragons working against one another; One, an ancient, crotchety but evil Red , and the other, an equally as ancient but adorably clumsy Bronze/Copper (I havn't decided.) The Bronze/Copper would be the employer for my players, the secret "man" behind the entire mission...kinda like a Charlie's Angels scenario, only the angels would be the players, and Charlie would be...a dragon. And he would, of course, have hired the players to investigate the evilness of the surrounding area, unknowing that the evil lord behind all the evilness is in fact the crotchety Red, and the Red is equally as ignorant as to the Bronze/Copper. The humor potential is so vast as each force works against each other...I might even create a team of evil npc's that compliment the player's characters. The possibilities are endless... Anyhow...I just thought I'd share my latest idea for when I next DM... |
| drachentoeter11-04-03, 11:51 PM | Nice Idea. I like it. I'd go with a bronze dragon. I'd have Charlie be lawfull instead of chaotic good like coppers. Also they are less willing to kill and read thoughts fits a detective very good and they can assume any humanoid form as long as they chose too. |

Besides we don't need to run to our brethren for every little event as we are quite capable of handling things by ourselves. No need to comment on every little fart in the universe when you are a creature of such magnificence and power. Did I mention how humble dragons are.;) |

| drachentoeter11-10-03, 03:09 AM | Well, I as for one would surely like to hear from the exploits of one with such noble ancestry as yours, as he carves his teeth and claws in what is his for the taking. I'd also like to hear what great deeds our chromatic brethren claim for them or those descended from them. Even what those , that were watchers of dragon and their kin, beheld. So the names and the deeds of those that drew breath before us or with us, can be remembered and used to teach us. The oldest and wisest (did I mention humblest) of all the races, we can only learn from our own. ;) |
| mythusmage11-10-03, 05:20 AM | Do you have a list of babysitters? I've got a bunch of Hatchlings (http://www.mythusmage.com/d20/dragonearth/bdh.html) that are eating me out of house and home and I need to go hunting to restock. Babysitters should be gentle, patient, have good character and good voices. Above all, they must refrain from killing the little darlings. If I can resist the temptation, so can you. Please contact Hassled Black Dragon Mother via my host, Mythusmage. |
| cabetardo11-11-03, 10:03 PM | Female dragon babysitter Half Red half human Monk very capable to take care of anything because of the 47 ac and the 75ft speed |
| mythusmage11-12-03, 01:59 AM | The AC and movement rate aren't important. How do you feel about drool that produces 1st degree burns? |
| drachentoeter11-12-03, 07:36 PM | As we don't have an extensive list of volunteers for this job you shouldn't be to picky. I might know a evil necromancer or two that would take care of the hatchlings, but they wouldn't want to give 'em back. |

| mythusmage11-16-03, 10:54 PM | Never mind, I found these cute elf girls to keep an eye on the babies. Coeds at a local university. And their thaumaturgy professor did an acid resistance charm on them which does a pretty good job of protecting from black dragon baby drool. I was able to catch a pair of aurochs and an elderly rhino. Sold the horns and other parts, which let me get a few hundred pounds of dead cow. The babies will dine on the aurochs and rhino, while I get the dead cow. (You ever eat auroch? Gamy does not begin to describe it. Tougher than a Yankee dwarf. And don't get me started on the California Rhino. I swear, if let be the hide alone could out last the Pyramids.) |

| LizardRider11-17-03, 02:14 AM | Yeah. Want to know the perfect why to defeat mounted cavalry? Tripwire in front of a 30' deep spiked pit that drops boiling water on anyone when they trip over the wire and fall in the pit. I don't think any cavalry can withstand that. A kobold's perfect trap. :cloud9: |
| Legions of the Unknown11-17-03, 01:31 PM | yes a perfectly nasty kobold trap  sounds fun 2 make just remember it works on more than cavalry, hehehe  it works on running humans. but more importantly knights, the evil (LG palidin) ones on horses . |
| LizardRider11-18-03, 12:32 AM | Heh Heh Heh! Great fun for everyone! :D :bounce: |
| anglar11-18-03, 12:54 AM | They would get a Reflex save to see if the horse could jump the pit. There's also a great deal of work that would go into making such a trap which is only heghtened by the fact that you'd have to make it on an open battlefield. |
| LizardRider11-18-03, 01:04 AM | First of all, the trip wire will not only drop the boiling water but will also make a trip attack against the horse with a +5 bonus to the trip attempt because it is concealed and low to the ground. Second, this will only be used on small groups of cavalry or monsters. Third, it will only be used in the spot of the trapbuilders' choice. Next, there will be many hidden crossbowman to take his friends out. I'll start a new thread for traps. It is best used in a high-walled canyon. |
| Legions of the Unknown11-18-03, 03:35 PM | hehehe death to :b:palidins:b: :smirk: hehehe  |
| Legions of the Unknown11-18-03, 04:12 PM | and to be more on subject for this foundation what does everyone think about the epic lvl dragon (prismatic and force) does anyone have any thoughts to these 2 dragons |
| Tenzhi11-18-03, 04:30 PM | Why use boiling water when you can use boiling oil followed by a volley of FLAMING arrows/javelins/whatever. And kobold traps are perfectly on-topic, for kobolds are just the sort of minions an evil dragon would enlist to guard its lair. I liked the Force dragon, but I have a 2nd Ed version of a prismatic dragon that I created that I like better than the 3rd Ed Prismatic Dragon. |
| Legions of the Unknown11-18-03, 04:35 PM | cool and yeah i guess they are and boiling oil is i little to smart for a kobold but the dragon could tell them to do that :D wut do you think of the 3e shadow dragon |
| Tenzhi11-18-03, 04:39 PM | Kobolds are as smart as humans, and humans might think of using boiling oil. I was never a big fan of Shadow Dragons as written due to my natural distaste for level drain. Personally, I think their breath weapon should drain Strength. |
| Legions of the Unknown11-18-03, 05:13 PM | i still dont think many average humans would think of that maybe some that have about 5 lvls in a fighter or palidin. or some that have been in wars/ conflicts where boiling oil was used if they had the idea the yeah they could do it yeah it should drain str or con |
| drachentoeter11-18-03, 05:40 PM | @ Tenzhi could you post the stats of your prismatic dragon, please? |

Why?, you know why: The dragons have the ambition of the human, the power of the gods and the arcana knowledge of the elven people. If someone says: - They aren't versatile as humans are. Who cares for adaptation? Dragons do not have to adapt to anything, they change the world as they desire. And as a member of a crossbreed between the dragons and drows, I want to join this foundation to bring suffering to the lesser races that infest the world. |
| Legions of the Unknown11-24-03, 01:25 PM | you can join by putting member of the dragon foundation into your sig due to the new CoC but if it wasnt that way you could join anyways to my knowledge (others who are in charge correct me if im wrong) and just so you know there are no numbers anymore;) |
| LizardRider11-27-03, 12:05 PM | AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! The foundation is on the 2nd page! The 2nd page!!! I can't believe the members of this foundation would let the foundation get bumped to the 2nd page! I'm ashamed of all of you who are part of this foundation, including myself!!! AAAARRRGG!!!!!  LizardRider :king: |
| aravilar_holistacia11-28-03, 04:49 AM | Greetings to all, uruloki. A reminder: Please review the CoC regarding foundations before continuing to post here. | Awaken Dragon11-30-03, 01:38 PM | I love dragons. I'm a quater dragon in our group but I'm a Dragon Disciple. If you'll have me I want to be part of the Dragon Foundation |
| Legions of the Unknown11-30-03, 02:02 PM | cool what special abilities does a 1/4 dragon get??? |
| Kkat12-07-03, 04:01 AM | I would join, but since when do Dragons need a foundation to proclaim Their Greatness? Foundations are for races who have an inferiority complex. (And rightly so. After all, they aren't Dragons.) --Kkat (Besides, I do not like to clutter my meaningful sig with tacky foundations) |
| Awaken Dragon12-07-03, 06:25 PM | Problem is that my 1/4 dragon characters neat abilities and scores aren't that good and really messed up and my DM ( don't get me wrong hes a good guy and all and this was his first time creating this so ..) really did a bad job with it. ANy one who can help I'd be open to some suggestion |
| LizardRider12-08-03, 11:14 AM | If he's a 1/4 dragon then that means he's 3/4. . . . . . .what? |

| Awaken Dragon12-09-03, 07:46 PM | It was an accident. The double post not my character. Yes my character is 1/4 gold dragon his dad was a hlaf gold dragon and his mom was a human. He doesn't know alot about them because he grew up in the wild alone. |
| LizardRider12-10-03, 06:39 PM | That sucks. I play a half-celestial Bronze. He looks like a normal bronze except that he has bird wings instead of dragon wings and his eyes are a green-gold. His father was a Celestial Bronze and his mother was a normal bronze. He never met his father and his mother died when he was only a wyrmling. His name is Bandilianthekrangdragoronan, Bandilianthe, or to his friends Bandy. Only one person calls him that though. Yakmick, the Mighty Orc Slayer, Trapmaster. Yakmick is a kobold who is a pyro and a clepto. |

| Awaken Dragon12-21-03, 07:56 PM | cool. My character does know a little about his heritage though. He got a sword that was passed down from generation to generation. Its called the sword of pyramos and once per day he can channel a fire based spell threw it ( fireball, Burning hands, ect) Its cool. Can't wait to level up kick ass breath weapon. |
| LizardRider12-23-03, 11:39 AM | awesome! My DM let something slip to me about a greatsword of power. It can do three different things per day as well as being a shocking burst weapon. It can give the wielder the power to use the spell call lightning as a spell like ability permanatly; but he has to shock it once every other week to keep the power (If Bandy had that weapon keeping the power would be a cinch). The wielder also gains the ability to use lightning bolt at any time so long as he has the sword (carrying, wielding, attacking, ect.). Finally the wielder of the sword can call forth a storm: Lightning storm 3/day, Snowstorm 3/day, Vengeful Storm 1/week (like the spell). The DM said that he might put it in the next adventure, so I'm hoping to get it. |
| Legions of the Unknown12-23-03, 02:23 PM | that sounds like a nice sword ill have 2 make something like that for one of my quests |

| Trevelyn RedScale01-05-04, 04:40 AM | I've got to sign up for this one. I'd like to introduce Baron Trevelyn RedScale 14/10 sorcrer/Dragon Disciple. Half Red Dragon half elf. He aquired his draconic shape through the DD prestige class. In true Red Dragon sense he is totally obsessed with his Hoard and increasing his dominion. Each night he piles up his total wealth and sleeps laying atop it with his wings spread protectivly over it all. After slaying a family of Coppers, he has taken over their hoard and Lair for his own. He has recently began building on a local temple to BANE to further the church, and his own needs. Being CE he can be unpredicable at times, but you can allways count on him to be looking out for #1! While he is only a Half-Dragon Baron RedScale would make an exellent addition to this group please sign him up immediately |

| Tenzhi01-07-04, 10:21 PM | The prismatic dragon stats I have are 2nd Edition and I don't know if I have the gumption to convert. Suffice to say that the Prismatic Dragon was actually based on the Prismatic spells (I forget, do the Prismatic spells even exist in 3.x?) and each of its breath weapons had an effect related to the prismatic spell effects by colour. |

Instead they seem content to gather vast amounts of knowledge and follow their own, seldom understood paths. A Zhi Lung's body is long and serpentine, coiling in on itself in almost hypnotic patterns as it moves. Its scales are bright silver in its juvenile years, seeming to tarnish black as it ages until the dragon is almost entirely black with silver-edged scales. Great, flowing silvery eyebrows overshadow unseen eyes, and a matching beard and whiskers adorn its muzzle - giving it the appearance of a wise old man. From a Zhi Lung's head sprout great antlers - the colour of ivory in the dragon's youth, they eventually become jet black as the dragon matures. Zhi Lung live wherever their unique path in life takes them, often never settling down in one place for very long (for most dragons this might be problematic, but a Zhi Lung's horde is made up of knowledge). Zhi Lung enjoy eating finely wrought metal, especially if it is enchanted. Though some have been known to develop quite a taste for elf. Click Here for Stats |

| Tenzhi05-20-04, 11:07 PM | Originally posted by Silmarien Aldalome  flavour text. They're a chaotically aligned dragon, yes? I'd be curious to know a bit about their "architecture" - snippets - are they a larger more powerful kind? Usually true neutral, actually. As to whether they're larger and more powerful - I haven't decided entirely, yet. I'm not sure they even have the same larval form as other Lung dragons. I'm thinking that they instead spend their first three age categories in a humanoid form gaining class levels (accumulation of knowledge). After they achieve 20 HD they would assume their fourth age category and juvenile dragon form. Their juvenile age category would therefore start with the 20 HD they accumulated up to that point which would make them slightly more powerful than the Tien Lung. |
| Tenzhi05-22-04, 05:42 AM | Chin Lung (Man Dragon) Lung dragons are creatures of spirit made flesh. The larval form of the rare Zhi Lung dragon is a clear example of this trait at work. Whereas other Lung dragons are born into flesh as a Yu Lung, the Zhi Lung is born as a spirit within a (1 HD) humanoid being. Such beings often do not know they are a dragon until late in their humanoid life, and many die before they can awaken their draconic nature. Chin Lung possess the traits of whatever humanoid they are born as. As soon as they acquire 5 class levels, they gain the abilities of a wyrmling and become aware of their draconic nature. Anytime after it achieves 20 class levels, the Chin Lung can choose to shed its humanoid form and become a full-fledged juvenile Zhi Lung. If the Chin Lung dies after it achieves 20 class levels, but before it chooses to become a Zhi Lung, the death of its humanoid form automatically (and immediately) triggers the transformation. A newly formed Zhi Lung has full hit points. For some reason, the humanoid form of a Chin Lung is noticeably smaller or larger than a typical member of that humanoid race. They also often possess prodigious silver-white eyebrows (or eye ridges, scales, etc as appropriate). The life span of a Chin Lung is twice that of a normal member of the appropriate humanoid race. It will be reincarnated as a member of the same race with the minimum number of HD needed to be one age category less than when it was killed. Plane Shift: A young Chin Lung regains the standard Lung dragon plane shift ability. |

The dragon can cease or resume flight as a free action. Deflecting Force (Su): A Zhi Lung of adult age or older is surrounded by an invisible field of force that grants it a deflection bonus to AC equal to its Charisma bonus. Adaptation (Ex): Once per round as a full-round action, a zhi lung of old age or older may adapt to an environment it is in and become immune to any harmful effects of that environment. Additionally, a zhi lung may use this ability to gain energy immunity against a specific type of energy. |
| Silmarien Aldalome05-22-04, 11:32 PM | Very nice - and a particular flavour to your work - I particularly liked the "noticeably" aspect to the height of the larval-humanoid dragons. I'd like to explore the reasoning and ethos behind larval dragons in humanoid form. What is the purpose or reason that a dragon even needs a humanoid cycle in the first place? I.e. are we talkin' Mulder and Scully conspiracy-alien theory here - or more - "great Grasshopper - learn that all life is connected. No dragon is wise unless it has lived the form of another..." sorta stuff. regards stav |
| Tenzhi05-23-04, 12:36 AM | Sil: Lung dragons are creatures of spirit, able to shift between the realms of spirit and flesh at will. Most lung dragons go through a draconic larval form (the Yu Lung or Carp Dragon), immediately birthed as creatures of flesh and spirit. With the Zhi Lung, I wanted not only to tie up their whole nature into a quest for knowledge through experience, but to emphasize this spiritual nature. As such, rather than being immediately birthed as dragons in flesh and spirit, I decided to make a sort of egg of humanoid flesh - the dragon's spirit is incubated within the flesh; in time and with the proper care it will grow and become aware until it is ready to "hatch" into full dragonhood. Also, this humanoid form gives some reason to why the Zhi Lung are so rare - as the humanoid form is more vulnerable to death through various means, and not all potential Chin Lung will even gain enough class levels to awaken to their draconic nature. |
| drachentoeter05-23-04, 03:57 AM | Awesome work, Tenzhi, gotta have one of those, ........at least. Now I only have to figure out a way to include them in a campaign. I was thinking along the lines of a party of all different races, thrown together by a twist of fate (that'd be me ;) ), where none of them is aware of their lung nature (as in I wouldn't tell them till they hit L5). Allthough I'm not sure if my players would really dig the idea of a party all dragons. And since I wouldn't tell them till they become aware of their draconic nature I can't ask them beforehand. Hopefully they'll be just as thrilled as I am over your creation Tenzhi. I would give them a hint in their first adventure, that each of them caries some sort of older spirit within. That should also help establish a bond between them, that keeps the group together. Knowing my players, it is most likely that they will try to investigate the nature of this old spirit. Which would serve nicely as a hook for further adventures. Such Lore is not easy to come by, especially since I'm planning on a low level magic campaign where magic shops are unheard of and wizards have better things to do than equip low level adventurer partys. On their way to fifth level they'll have to track down a Zhi Lung to answer their question. Of course they will be reaching 5th level with the XP for that encounter and find the answer within. Which is exactly what the Zhi Lung will tell them, where to find it. It is suposed to be a journey on the outside that reflects the spiritual journey on the inside. I'd apreciate some feedback on this campaign idea. Also suggestions as to whether I should make them into the last of their kind (except for that old one they are searching), simply a new generation or other stuff that I can use for background or adventurehooks. Of course I assume that tenzhi has no problem with me stealing his creation for my feeble campaign. ;) |
| Tenzhi05-23-04, 04:18 AM | The idea was freely given, so technically you can't steal it. ;) I do like your campaign idea, though. Were I to do it, myself, I'd have the players seeking a "wise old man" rather than telling them they were seeking a Zhi Lung. I'd also make it a campaign world where dragons have become a matter of legend that no one has actually seen in ages. The crux of the campaign would eventually revolve around figuring out what happened to the Celestial Bureaucracy and all the lung dragons... |
| Ouroboros05-23-04, 06:54 AM | So the Zhi Lung don't die of old age then? |
| Tenzhi05-23-04, 07:17 AM | Originally posted by Ouroboros So the Zhi Lung don't die of old age then? IMC, no dragon dies of old age. But, if one needed to know the life expectancy of a Zhi Lung one could just use the life expectancy of a typical Silver dragon. |
| drachentoeter05-23-04, 11:54 AM | Originally posted by Tenzhi Were I to do it, myself, I'd have the players seeking a "wise old man" rather than telling them they were seeking a Zhi Lung. I'd also make it a campaign world where dragons have become a matter of legend that no one has actually seen in ages. I'll go with the second bit, whereas nobody has seen one in ages, and have the "wise old man" send them searching for the Zhi Lung Dragon. Kind of a spiritual guide that sets the wheels in motion. When they find the Zhi Lung, realizing their own draconic heritage, they'll know who the "wise old man" really is. He would be a recurring NPC that pops up before a new age level is gained. At level 0 (PCs birth), level 4 (sending them to seek out the dragon), level 9 (the eternal nature of their souls), level 14 (the nature of the universe around them) and level 19 (the transformation into the dragon). He'd be back shortly thereafter as soon as any of the PCs becomes a full fledged Zhi Lung. At this point the old Zhi Lung would leave the realms of the flesh for an unknown realm thus ending a cycle the PCs just started for themselves. The crux of the campaign would eventually revolve around figuring out what happened to the Celestial Bureaucracy and all the lung dragons... I don't want to incorporate the Celestial Bureaucracy. Nor any other Oriental Adventure stuff, unless they decide to go to those eastern countrys after they realize their draconic heritage. If I incorporate any oriental background before that they'd probably figure it out to early just by their own physical features (the prodigious silver-white eyebrows). I was thinking to have their sizes deviated by a random dice roll immediatly after character creation. |
| drachentoeter05-26-04, 02:40 AM | @ Tenzhi I found a potential problem with the stats of the Zhi Lung. What happens if a Chi Lungs ability scores are higher than the full fledged Zhi Lungs? Example would be a wizard with a starting intelligence of 18. At Level 4 it becomes 19, at level 5 he gains +4 for being a wyrmling bringing it up to 23. At Level 8 it would become 24, at L12 25, at L16 26, and finally at Level20 27. If he chooses to become a dragon now it will drop back to 18, a loss of 9 ability points in his primary stat. |
| Silmarien Aldalome05-26-04, 02:47 AM | Hi There Drachentoeter - good to see you. @Tenzhi: What's the "Celestial Beuaracracy" - sounds as awful a term as "Portfolio of Mystra the Goddess of Magic" - what is it with all the importing of Earthly terms? stav |
| Tenzhi05-26-04, 02:58 AM | In the great journey of life, sometimes one must take a step back in order to take two steps forward. ;) But really, the ability scores given (as with most monster files) are only typical scores. The only reason they are listed as modifers with the Chin Lung is because they are applied to whatever base humanoid form the Chin Lung is in. Just subtract the racial modifiers (if any) that were applied to the Chin Lung and then add the difference of the Zhi Lung's modifers as compared to the Chin Lung's modifiers to get the right ability score. An age category 3 Chin Lung has a Str +6, Dex +4, Con +6, Int +4, Wis +4, and Cha +2. A starting Zhi Lung would have base racial ability modifiers of Str +16, Dex +2, Con +8, Int +8, Wis +8, and Cha +8. So, in the transition from Chin Lung to Zhi Lung, a player should modify his ability scores like so (after removing previous racial modifiers): Str +10, Dex -2, Con +2, Int +4, Wis +4, and Cha +6 |

As we are all Earthers (so to speak), all terms we use are inevitably Earthly. ;) The "Celestial Beauracracy" (sometimes referred to as the Jade Court) are essentially the divine directors of earthly affairs. They decide things like where and when natural disasters will occur, and the proper disposition of spirits heading into the afterlife. They may also influence wars and other mundane affairs of the people. They are not, however, gods. Rather, they serve as the gods' law-firm/agency/thingie and act as a confounding buffer betwixt the gods and foetid, stinky mortals. Tien Lung dragons are generally in charge of the court, and various other dragons play important roles, but all manner of Spirit-type critters play various roles in the court and a great deal of them are bored... and there are few things as dangerous to mortal men as bored, bureaucratic spirits. |
| drachentoeter05-26-04, 03:12 AM | ...and, as you might have allready guessed, they come from chinese mythology. |

Ah well, as drach said, it's based on Chinese mythology. Personally, I like the oriental flavour of "Jade Court" - "Mortal Custodians" seems too stuffily sci-fi. Of course, I suppose if "Jade Court" isn't to your liking, you could always say "Qing Yu Fa" - or translate it into elvish where it will likely have too many elegantly pompous syllables, an odd accent mark, and possibly an apostrophe or two for good measure. ;) |
| drachentoeter05-26-04, 03:50 AM | jade represents immortality or eternity in chinese beliefs, therefor it was often used in emperor's grave sites. BTW I still could use some suggestions and comments on how to implement the dragon campaign setting. The Questions that bother me most is initial motivation of the players to form a group and should I introduce an antagonist plotting the demise of the would be dragons? If yes, who would he be and what would his motivation be? There is still many holes in the plot and I'd appreciate any help to fill them. Should I leave the size deviation up to the players choice and would it be enough to change their size categories? I have allready included in the write up that their unusual looks and size make most people feel a little uncomfortable around them. Prestige classes will only become available during the campaign as they find either the necessary training facilities or lore to persue those careers. |
| Tenzhi05-26-04, 04:55 AM | Before anything else, I found this interesting dragon-related "interview" over at mimir.net: http://www.mimir.net/mapinfinity/dragons.html Now, the obvious antagonist would be a person or group that was possibly responsible for the disappearance of the dragons in the first place. Heck, for motivation all of the players could find themselves under attack from this group of people who are aware of their natures even if the players aren't. As for the size dilemma... I'm not sure it should be drastic enough to alter a race by an actual size category. I might give out virtual size penalties and bonuses - for instance, I might treat a character as being Large for the purposes of grappling and other checks that might be modified by size but not give them the benefits of reach or an AC/hit penalty or the ability to use large weapons... but really it's intended to be a mostly cosmetic change. A human might be 4.5-5 feet if short, or 7-8 feet if tall, as an example. |
| drachentoeter05-28-04, 05:18 PM | O.k. , I like the virtual size penalties/boni and will keep it mostly cosmetic. As to the antagonist: A group or person powerfull enough to be responsible for the disappearance of the dragons should have no troubles squashing my first level player characters. Maybe a group or individual interested in them not coming back might work. How about a lung dragon connected to the celestial bureaucracy, who loathes the independent freelancing Zhi Lungs? Like one of those typhoon dragons (can't remember what they're called), but their evil and tend to overstep their orders, so that only tien lungs can get them back in line. He'd be avoiding a direct confrontation with the Zhi Lung, who'd probably be powerfull enough to take him down. Instead he'd resort to minions and hired assasins to kill the Chin Lungs before they reach enough experience to transform into Zhi Lungs. He'd be just a puppetmaster in the background pulling the strings of strawmen, the players would overcome one by one as they climb in levels. Untill finaly around level 20 they'd find the source of all the malice they had to endure. They'd have to seek him out for the final battle that takes them to level 20. Since that fight would most likely take place in a hurricane it makes for some nice cinematics. Let me know what you think. And nice link btw. I read all the stories of mapping the infinite but the dragon interview beats them all, with the modron conspiracy a close second. |
| Azer Firelord05-28-04, 06:37 PM | The Firelord enters the cave of the dragons, glancing around nervously-even a Firelord can be eaten by a dragon... Hallo Great wyrms. Something I've wondered as an azer...Why are Red dragons Chaotic? I mean, us fire types are pretty lawful- why the azer certianly are, and the firegiants, and even the hated efreet...Red Dragons seem the exception...any thoughts? |
| drachentoeter05-28-04, 09:08 PM | Well, the reds are the anthithesis of the silver and golds which are lawfull good. If you look at the whole picture, you'll find that there are more neutral than lawfull firetypes. Magmins are ch-n, Fire- and Magmamephits, Rast and Thoqqa are all n and Fire Salamander are any evil. So the only thing that can be said is that there seems to be more lawfull than chaotic firetypes. The eye of a white wyrm pops open as it detects the presence of the acer. For a moment it wants to breathe a little ice on that fiery thing to teach it a lesson. But then it decides that it is probably one of the toys of the red wyrm over there with the real bad temper and goes back to sleep instead, pretending the acer isn't there. Soon the white is fast asleep and in it's dream the red one begs for mercy for having offended the mighty whyte wyrm with its presence while he slowly freezes him to an icy death. |
| Azer Firelord05-28-04, 09:14 PM | Thanks- I guess most of those neutral critters are more like animals than anything else- the thoqqua and rast certainly...still fire can be used for both chaos and order so fair enough- and I guess the fire-breathing dragon is the original mythic one and so should correspond to the alignment displayed in the myths... The azer glances around at the, thankfully, sleeping, dragons and carefully edges its way back to the holds of the dwarves. |
| Ryeix the Gold05-31-04, 05:20 PM | *Enters the smell of death coming with the necromatic black dragon.* The Black Dragon Ryeix would consider joining this guild thingy, but cant understand the stuff yoos talking 'bout, Im not much into Rping off-line, iz a Terisia dragon. *Leaves the scent of death following him.* :b: 4 Ever! Ryeix the Gold |
| Awaken Dragon05-31-04, 09:15 PM | Now tell me if this makes sense. A reformed chaotic good balck dragon. Any thoughts? |
| drachentoeter06-01-04, 12:56 AM | @ Ryeix first of all welcome to the foundation or guild as it is called nowadays. We were talking 'bout a campaignsetting that is based on a oriental dragon tenzhi created one or two pages back, the Zhi Lung. It goes through a larvae form, called a Chi Lung, as a humanoid that becomes aware of its draconic heritage around Level5 (any class will do) and turns into a full fledged dragon (the Zhi Lung) after Level 20. I think it's as cool as it gets and therefore I'm building a campaign around it. Read Tenzhi's posts about it if you wanna know more about it. @ Awaken Dragon No, it doesn't, but it doesn't need to either. ;) It's a nice idea though. Let us know how it turned out in game, should be quite interesting and make for good encounters. What do you mean you don't want to fight me? I'm a dragonslayer, that's what I do for a living. I slay evil dragons and rescue kidnapped maidens. ... Let me get that straight. You're not evil and kidnapping is barbaric. Ya think I'm colorblind? Next you're gonna tell me you're a silver and your scales just got scorched, right? |
| Orcy The Green Wonder06-01-04, 01:13 AM | A CG black dragon would work fine using the "Redeemed Villan" idea from the BoED. So, it does make sense, to Orcy anyway. |
| LizardRider06-03-04, 03:51 PM | I 'spose it's possible. besides, this is D&D; ANYTHING is possible! |
| Silmarien Aldalome06-03-04, 10:08 PM | or translate it into elvish where it will likely have too many elegantly pompous syllables, an odd accent mark, and possibly an apostrophe or two for good measure  Elen Síla Lúmmeñ Omentiélvo Great Elf-Bane! Hi there Azer, Awaken, Drach, Orcy and Lizard. In an ancient campaign, in a galaxy far far away when I was a fledgling - our DM had a varian on Gold Dragons that would bond with one person (as an act of gratitude after a courageous thing). This dragon could fly between dimensions. Has anyone heard of such a thing? stav |

But I've not heard of anything exactly like it from D&D. |
| Awaken Dragon06-04-04, 11:35 PM | Well its undecided how the players going to play it out....he wants to be a neutral black dragon...that fights for the side of good ...whos a cleric and worships obda-hai...the guy jsut wants to look black and have acid...I told him copper dragon would make more sense...its all pivatale to what our DMs going to have him be. |

| Silmarien Aldalome06-06-04, 01:15 AM | Thanx Tenzh-mann+Lizard & big hello tharr, to Awaken Dragon. Tenzh - yeah, haven't seen the Pern stuff for ages now, but I remember.... Then, I'd like to see ideas about a Plane Shifting Dragon - or even a Trans-dimensional dragon. Scope, outlook. Where would they fit in the "order" of things? regards stav |
| Dragonlover06-15-04, 09:37 AM | No idea if you're still taking members, but if you are count me in. Cheers, Dragonlover |
| Son_Of_Cthulhu06-28-04, 03:08 PM | hey all, your guild looks awesome. can i join? |
| Sssargoth06-28-04, 07:37 PM | Welcome to the Dragon Foundation, dragonlover, and Son_Of_Cthulhu. All you have to do is put "Dragon foundation member" in your sig, and your official members. |
| Silmarien Aldalome06-28-04, 09:59 PM | You bet Son_of_Cth. yes - welcome to Dragon Fields. May your stay here bring you wealth and prosperity Sil says in greeting. There's a story behind your Avatar's name - and we'd like to hear it - if you wanna tell it. How is it that Cthulhu ended up with a Dragon-Offspring - or at least some links to Dragons.....? |
| Son_Of_Cthulhu06-29-04, 05:25 AM | ahhh...my avatar name... the story is real simple. pretty much, i started to read A LOT of H.P. Lovecraft at school and a bunch of my friends started to notice that I was always reading his works, so I sort of got the name Son of Cthulhu. and about the draconic offspring, all i have to say is that Cthulhu might have been a bit promiscuous before achieving has elder god status, but besides that, i have no idea. |
| theyettie07-14-04, 04:40 PM | this seemed like a good place to look. i am looking for drqtgons to play. eberon, forgoton realms, dragonlance i don't care what they are out of. i don't even care if you made them up your self. i have some friends that i am building a campain for and i want something new. i have monster manual 1 and 2, dragonomicron, oriental adventures, monsters of fauren, and 4 dragons from the monsters of mahem articles. anyone who can help pm me please. |

| Silmarien Aldalome07-20-04, 07:25 PM | *looks upstream* There seem to be a few Lovecraft readers amongst the posters. bored sigh "Mayhap then" a male voice from the Aether teases - "it would please you to know that it will be the Voice of Complacency that brings the Wyrms to ruin." There is a Tonal intonation - and subtle rippling of Space. "For the Great Wyrms are not immune to the Laws - or Lore of the Universe." Hi there Turalisj - I want to know how to knock out a Blue Dragon. We've got one hounding us in our campaign currently. Hetzfurenz - a rather haughty pain in the rear - and in possession of an Amulet of Blue Dragon control. Hetzfurenz is also locked to the ancient past of the Southern Provinces of Aarendor. Any suggestions? |
| turalisj07-20-04, 08:30 PM | get a couple of bronze and gold great wyurms and promise them they get to split the loot, they'll no doubt go and kill him asap then take his treasure and fly off |
| Tenzhi07-21-04, 01:34 AM | Originally posted by Silmarien Aldalome "For the Great Wyrms are not immune to the Laws - or Lore of the Universe." "I disagree - some of us *are* Laws of the Universe (or multiverse) and ergo carry some immunity." "And the wolf who becomes a sheep has mutton in his future." As for your draconic blues ( ;) ) - why is the dragon after you? Have you tried conversing with it? Blue dragons can be surprisingly reasonable unless you've done something to truly irk them. |
| turalisj07-21-04, 03:28 AM | like taking one of their egggs or some of its treasure |
| Silmarien Aldalome07-21-04, 07:31 PM | Sil smiles provocatively "Even the Valar were bound by the Laws, and by the Lore that they themselves had created. It is not possible to separate one's self from Life. By merely existing one recapitulates Lore. But - dost thou speak to Chaning Lore? For this is no simple matter either. @Turalisj *chuckles* @all OK - Hetzfurenz is a rather haughty thing. Sacked and burned the Elves many times you know. In response, and many aeons ago, the Elves made an Amulet of Blue Dragon control. This is a family heirloom - whose use is bound to a blood line. This Heirloom came into our possession by way of "chance", or "fate". At which time, the dragon got all black-maily. So - dragon or no - it's no fun living in the Vale when you know that his blue scaly hide wants to turn people into crispy critters! What do you recommend |
| turalisj07-21-04, 09:55 PM | tell tenzhi youl'll offer him alln the elves he can eat and he'll go right over to that dragon, that or get 10 or 20 golems and go kill him yourself (i'd offer but i really hate blue dragons) p.s. whats his age? great wyrm? ancient? old? |
| Tenzhi07-22-04, 12:11 AM | Originally posted by Silmarien Aldalome Sil smiles provocatively "Even the Valar were bound by the Laws, and by the Lore that they themselves had created." Tenzhi seems to smirk. "Think about that statement for a moment - the Valar were bound by the Laws which they created. Think about mortals and how they are bound by their perceptions until they learn to see beyond what they normally can. The only true limits are those we set - consciously or not - for ourselves." OK - Hetzfurenz is a rather haughty thing. Sacked and burned the Elves many times you know. In response, and many aeons ago, the Elves made an Amulet of Blue Dragon control. Sounds to me like you are meant to find a person of the proper bloodline to use the amulet - after all it was created specifically to counter this Heinzfiftyseven dragon. |
