It WILL be translated. what does "Inye na Qualme" mean? it's not on the site. if you give me the translation, I'll add it to "Udossta Neen amar". :D (unless it already has another translation as via that site.)
anglar 03-19-04, 07:14 PM	Taken from the Tolkien Elven. Inye Na Qualme literally translates "I Be Death." I used the line once when I was asked to give my qualifications to be part of a "hunting party". It just kind of stuck.

Quenditar 03-23-04, 10:04 PM	I found it intriguing that Drow morphology bears a truly remarkable resemblance to English, especially the rule that only 3rd singular verb forms take a special person suffix...:eek: Also, what is the apostrophe for, besides looking cool? Does it orthographically separate elements of compounds? Is it a glottal stop? Is it a schwa or other semivowel? (Does it depend on position?) I prefer languages that have a well-defined romanization system, although I understand why a language would retain etymological spellings (like "Fyelezhohe" for the city that calls itself "Fèlèzhwé") in its own script. Is there any guide to Drow syntax or pronunciation in existence? As it is, "Drow" is basically a cipher of English accomplished with a dictionary.
