| Dyne11-26-05, 11:30 PM | In the midst of the Great Forest, settled in between its guarding branches lies a small settlement. The last of the race of Elves makes this blessed spot its home, where their advancements of civilization and magic blend with the simple truths of nature. Elves of all kind can be found here, from all walks of life, coexisting peacefully in the only known cooperation of all Elf subraces. Good and Evil are left at the door, and the only laws binding this place are that of fellowship and the advancement of the Elf race. | Dyne11-26-05, 11:34 PM | No longer a reserved post. Just pretend this isn't here. |
| Dyne11-26-05, 11:38 PM | oops. :banghead: That's allright, I could put the Members List in the Opening Post, so I'd only need two reserved posts, rather than three. EDIT: I'll take it you want to be a member? :D |
| Aramar the Black11-26-05, 11:58 PM | I would like to be a member as well. |
| Dyne11-27-05, 12:07 AM | I would like to be a member as well. Done. If anyone has links to Elf stuff, feel free to post. Alternatively, if you know of Elf stuff published in books, go ahead and leave me a page number. |
| Aramar the Black11-27-05, 12:21 AM | This is a large site with lots of information of the Elves of Fearun, based off mostly 2nd and 3rd edition material, I believe. LINK (http://myth-drannor.net/DlabraddathNet/z-Cormanthyr/home%20page.htm) These are some great pictures of elves, by one of my favorite artists, Jason Engle: (note that some have rounded ears) Elves (http://www.jaestudio.com/Elves.jpg) and Elven Lords (http://www.jaestudio.com/ElvenLords.jpg) |
| Demonfey11-27-05, 12:22 AM | Like an oversized insect, the Aberration climbs up into the community of the foundation. Interesting place you have here. |
| turalisj11-27-05, 12:22 AM | you can add me to the list of members aswell. |
| Dyne11-27-05, 01:16 AM | you can add me to the list of members aswell. Welcome aboard. Quarion Liadon views the aberration with no enmity. "You are welcome here. Although, you are a strange creature to me." |
| premier66611-27-05, 09:58 AM | Put me in. My char will make his aparition soon enough. hey, will this guild be part of the IFGW? |
| Dyne11-27-05, 12:11 PM | Put me in. My char will make his aparition soon enough. hey, will this guild be part of the IFGW? You are welcome here. We will most certainly be a part. My character shall be Quarion Liadon, a Forest Elf (see the link to my creation) Druid, who shall also be a part of the Forest Dwellers Foundation. |
| Aramar the Black11-27-05, 12:55 PM | So, I guess that means that Tirian now has his place here as well. |
| Dyne11-27-05, 07:20 PM | So, I guess that means that Tirian now has his place here as well. Certainly. I'm considering making a Forest Elf Paragon, since the regular Elf Paragon doesn't fit my concept at all. It would cater more to Druids and Rangers, since that's what Forest Elves focus on. EDIT: I also revised the Forest Elf subrace a little bit, go ahead and check it out. |
| Dyne11-27-05, 08:20 PM | I finished the Forest Elf Paragon and posted it at the Forest Dwellers Foundation. Check it out, at your leisure. |
| Demonfey11-27-05, 09:30 PM | Welcome aboard. Quarion Liadon views the aberration with no enmity. "You are welcome here. Although, you are a strange creature to me." You should see the other five me's. I am a manifold creature, and began a fey'ri, or demonfey. |
| Aramar the Black12-12-05, 11:23 PM | Tirian comes forward, changing from panther to elf as he moves. "Quarion, we are both children of the Forest, serving a place ing the Foundation of the Forest Dwellers, and our place here. Though it may be mere formality, it is my thought that we should establish a formal connection between this guild and "mine". |
| thasis12-13-05, 03:12 PM | I'll join this guild for when I get back. I'm abandoning the old Thasi (I'll explain better in my official return) for the time being so I'm thinking of a drow character (untill the old Thasi return ;)) |
| Dyne12-13-05, 07:40 PM | Quarion Liadon nods to Tirian. "I was thinking the same thing. The Elven people and the forests have forever been closely tied to one another. Especially in these difficult times, bonds of fellowship are of dire importance. "As the speaker for the Elven Foundation, I graciously accept your proposal to a formal alliance." Glad to have you, Thasis. |
| Aramar the Black01-03-06, 11:49 PM | Mayhaps, as those dedicated to the forest, there might be some who known of the ancient magics which allowed us to direct the growth of plants and trees, and the magics which bond us all in a mental state that surpasses our usually experiences. Can the Drow, and the elves of the waters still participate in such rituals? Can anyone here give answer? |
| Lady Rolindin01-06-06, 04:27 AM | What about the other elfs, the star elfs from the fr; and the snow elfs from the dragon magzine. Star elfs would be good to play, they liver longer than most elfs, alot longer. |
| Dyne02-17-07, 03:12 AM | Might as well bump this, instead of creating another thread. I'll probably post up some more Elf-y stuff in a bit. |
