Chosen of the Dark Sun 11-28-04, 08:44 PM	I've often wondered what, in the Realms, it would take to get the surface elves to ally with the Drow. There has to be something bad enough, but I wonder what the cercumstances would have to be. As to a leader, as I said before, even if we do go into the IFGW, why do we need one? Elven society is essentially an anarchy, so essentially all we have to do is just have a council, or have the guild members vote, then have a sort of "ambassador" to the other guilds.

In fact, I'm not sure if we're even gonna participate in the IFWG as a foundation. This is just to discuss stuff about elves of all kinds. In short, come on in. We won't shoot at you.

Dyne 11-29-04, 10:48 PM	By socialism, I think of everyone sharing everything they have with one another for mutual benefit. Usually, this is regulated by the government. To my understanding, Sweden has used such a system and has been successful with it until immigrants started moving in and living off of welfare. By socialism in the IFWG, to me that would mean that we pool our resources and function as a group rather than as individuals. But, if by socialism you mean the National Socialist Party, or Nazis, then I would totally object because that is not socialism in my opinion, that is a Dictatorship in which one person owns and controls everything and gives it to who he wishes. Dammit, how did I get started on politics?

Too bad all portals opened onto Dromkar are directed to the Shadow Gates. Besides, skygge don't have cities, they live in tribes and encampments. Not that your character would know any of this, considering hes never been to Dromkar.

The fun part comes when they shape Mystra herself and the entire weave into a Spiritual Weapon and smite Tenzhi with it, destroying most of their planet in the process only to find that he is unharmed by their efforts and that elves are truly pathetic things in the scheme of the multiverse. There's nothing quite like the sound of a million elven egos breaking - 'tis music to my ears.

Dyne 12-03-04, 12:27 AM	I, myself, don't mind orc or half-orc PC's at all. I have a friend that likes to play as a Half-Orc Barbarian. My elf character, Dyne, is accepting of everyone. Other elf characters I have played as are open-minded, but rather untrusting of orcs. Of course, as a DM, orcs and goblins are some of the best monsters to throw at the PC's.
