Grand Center Of The Shadow Hunters [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-05-04, 10:18 PM Before you stands a collosual castle, measuring high enough to hold thousands of beings, with room to spare. vast turrets jut off into the sky. hundreds of elves stand at antention, all of them facing the same nine people. as you continue to look in awe one of the elves spot you. before you know it you are surrounded, but the nine merely laugh. "bring the fool here" one of them says "we will see if he has what it takes."
welcome to the shadow hunters. defenders of good. guardians of vast secret. i will be posting more here.

12-05-04, 10:27 PM well, if ur evil it may. if ur neutral then you'll just be treated as out of place. if ur good then you'll be treated as a sibling. if ur chaotic then u'll be right at home. lawfull characters are seen as too uptight here.....

12-05-04, 10:42 PM well. we need a captain of the north, south, and west watches. you have to have the leadership feat to get the positions there though. plus you can join the special operations branch.

In a flash of blue and silver, Silmarien appears at the Keeps main gates. She looks into the heavens and sees the vast fortification reaching skywards, its many spires so high that only those with sharp eyes can discern the details. She turns, and behind her are 5 Elves and 2 Half-Elves. They are adorned in the Regalry of Peredhil Halls and they have come to help.

She looks skywards and sees flashes of sunlight, reflecting off the armour of the Elven Guards. She listens - and hears the sound of wind passing over the turrets of the castle. She knocks on the front door, and whilst waiting she re-reads the letter she has written.

Turalisj,

I myself cannot always be here to defend this Keep. However, I shall always come when you call, and in my place, when I am not here, please accept some of our people to assist you. For many Elves and Half-Elves have come to the Keep in the last week as the Defenders gather. Many are deeply troubled by the rise of Shadow, and you will need our help.

You have earned our everlasting and undying loyalty. When your horn calls for assistance, I myself will come to assist you unflateringly.

While I am not here - please accept our gratitude for your tireless support. These people I leave here will do your bidding without question.

Please also accept this gift. The magical device is a Communication aide, and it may be used to find me no matter where you are and no matter what the circumstances.

In her hand is a stone on a necklace. It is azure and it glows with its own inner light. It is set on Silverstarfire Metal and likewise is the chain wrought from the same metal.

She clasps it in her hand, waiting for the door to be answered....

12-06-04, 07:27 PM alright, i've looked over the old wotc archives and the council of nine is going to compose of arch psions. lets see those fools from the coucncil of archmages laugh at us when we have nine mighty psions who can match the arch mage power for power!!!!!! :evillaugh :evillaugh :evillaugh :schemes: :schemes: :fight!: :fight!:

12-06-04, 07:45 PM we atleast have the half-elves and the purple knights. the psionics foundation should join easily....we are an entirely psionics based foundation.

12-06-04, 07:56 PM even so, we wield the powers of the mind. and we have 9 arch psions of 20th lvl on our side who can destroy an entire plane themselves. i could keep arguing but i wont. so stop trying to prove the stupid archmages have better abilities and allies. the archpsion can go toe to toe with the archmage, that's what it was designed to do.

12-06-04, 08:03 PM Out of the rolling hills on the horizon approaches Gurney Halleck, playing a merry tune on his baliset as he makes his way to the gate of the massive structure. He walks up the the door and eyes The Lady Silmarien, giving her a slight bow as he strums his baliset a final time before he shoulders it with the leather strap attached. He tightens his sword belt, then waits to be accepted along with the Lady.

The council of arch-mages are all real people..... you just made up some thing were you get 9 20th level psions.
