| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-20-05, 03:37 PM | A black stone obelisk, the Hellspike stands at the far end of a peninsula of rock surrounded by molten lava. The faces of all manners of the Damned are frozen with looks of anger into the tower of stone and steel. The eyes and mouths of these wretched beings glow as bright as the surrounding lava, as if the Hellspike was merely a thin shell restraining a tide of evil and fire. Positioned around the Hellspike are all manners of Devils, Demons, and evil creatures. Some are busily engaged in some fiendish activity, whether it be hurling screamind captives into the lava, or enacting gruesome scenes of torture. The smell of brimstone, sulfur, and something far worse hangs in the air around the Prison, which only adds to its hellish nature. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guild Name: HellSpike Prison (HSP) Guild Description: Tattered banners of holy symbols lay strewn at your feet like a royal carpet, desecrated images of holyness adorn the walls, and bloodstained corpses hang from crucifixes, their garb obviously of the faith. Chains hang from the rafters, and from those chains hang all manner of goodly beings, squirming in anguish. As you tread farther into the great hall you see darkened cells cut into the walls. From within that shadowy abyss, wails of despair echo like a chorus. The souls of the damned are currency here, for this is a place most foul.....This is the place where enemies of gods converge, and where power is drawn away from the deific patrons...No god holds sway here, though their servants reside here. Not a prayer is heard as the so called "5th Order" makes his way through the room, a pair of batlike wings propeling him through the air with a fluid, serpentine grace. Demon Lords and Arch Devils, Dukes of Hell, and evil creatures of all nature frequent this place to pay their respects to the 5th Order, and their newfound lord, Dyrzakis. Guild Charter: The main goals of the foundation are as follows: -To stop good from hunting down evil -To oppose the Guild of Pure Good and other guilds of good -To gain political and millitary power -To gain access to the most vile of machines, spells, artifacts, and weapons - To unite all the deicidal god-haters in the Realms. They prance about in battle, taking briefly to the air and bringing their clawed feet into play. Despite their advantage in mobility, the vrocks’ deep love of battle frequently leads them into melee combats against heavy odds. A vrock’s natural weapons, as well as any weapons it wields, are treated as chaotic-aligned and evil-aligned for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction. Dance of Ruin (Su) To use this ability, a group of at least three vrocks must join hands in a circle, dancing wildly and chanting. At the end of 3 rounds of dancing, a wave of crackling energy flashes outward in a 100-foot radius. All creatures except for demons within the radius take 20d6 points of damage (Reflex DC 18 half). Stunning, paralyzing, or slaying one of the vrocks stops the dance. The save DC is Charisma-based. Spores (Ex) A vrock can release masses of spores from its body once every 3 rounds as a free action. The spores automatically deal 1d8 points of damage to all creatures adjacent to the vrock. They then penetrate the skin and grow, dealing an additional 1d4 points of damage each round for 10 rounds. At the end of this time, the victim is covered with a tangle of viny growths. (The vines are harmless and wither away in 1d4 days.) A delay poison spell stops the spores’ growth for its duration. Bless, neutralize poison, or remove disease kills the spores, as does sprinkling the victim with a vial of holy water. Stunning Screech (Su) Once per hour a vrock can emit a piercing screech. All creatures except for demons within a 30-foot radius must succeed on a DC 22 Fortitude save or be stunned for 1 round. The save DC is Constitution-based. Skills Vrocks have a +8 racial bonus on Listen and Spot checks. | Orcy The Green Wonder12-20-05, 04:20 PM | Last Orcy knew, Styx dragons ate demons, not socialize with them. And... demon lords and Archdukes? Come now, lets be a BIT more realistic. Anyway, Orcy's primary question is... what happened to Priest? Is he dead, is he alive? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-20-05, 04:24 PM | the thing about Arch Devils and such deals with something completely OOC for this board, its for the actual HSP im using in my campaign ( it double's as as a base for Dyrzakis) and Priest is alive, but away for now as for the demons and such...5th Order socializes with all manner of evil creatures, mostly demons at the moment because of the particular stretch of the Styx he has been in recently |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-20-05, 07:31 PM | we need some activity here.... |
| turalisj12-20-05, 09:32 PM | You DO know that styx dragons eat fiends, not befriend them. |
| turalisj12-20-05, 09:32 PM | damn double posts *kicks comp* anyway, I might turn turalisj into a tartarien dragon (the planar versoin of the red dragon). |
| jagggar12-20-05, 09:42 PM | Well, your friends wouldn't give you indigestion, would they? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-20-05, 09:44 PM | damn double posts *kicks comp* anyway, I might turn turalisj into a tartarien dragon (the planar versoin of the red dragon). that would be sweet! |
| turalisj12-20-05, 10:52 PM | A figure flaps towards the prison, a pair of winged haflings throwing spears at him as he flies. A cone of yellow gas launched from his mouth, then sent the pair flying. He landed a few seconds later, cracking his kneck. Sorry about the shadow hunters, they've been following me around for years. |

Sorry about the shadow hunters, they've been following me around for years. 5th Order scans the newcomer, silently nodding his head in approval so Turalisj is official then, as a Tarterian Dragon? |
| turalisj12-20-05, 11:59 PM | Actually, the dragon's name is Kothar. Decided I didn't want to do the work involved in making Valshin, so Kothar is here instead. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-21-05, 12:10 AM | Actually, the dragon's name is Kothar. Decided I didn't want to do the work involved in making Valshin, so Kothar is here instead. ah i see, good thinking...by the way would you like to join my guild, i could use fellow members 5th Order snorts his approval @ the newcomer then mumbles: "we shall spill much blood on the path of war and unite all dragon-kind under our bloody banners," "will you join me, my brother?" in Draconic |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-21-05, 06:47 PM | 5th Order stands beneath an overhanging rock ledge, near the river of molten lava, meanwhile, across the flow, a trio of mechanized beasts are busy hurling bound captives into the lava. The final ceremony of the Hellspike is almost done, then the Cacofex Splinter shall be joined with its original piece, thus openening the planar breach for good. |
| The Kobold Hero12-22-05, 10:45 PM | Tarsas approaches the dragon carefully, then drops to a kneeling stance "I bow to your will. What would you have you acolyte do?" |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-22-05, 11:23 PM | Speaking Draconic, 5th Order looks upon the hooded acolyte: "Go forth, and gather the flock...bring our draconic bretheren to us" |
| thasis12-22-05, 11:43 PM | A note comes fluttering into the halls... I may not be of a god-hating nature, but I do actively appose the good guilds. I do suggest that we try to work together in the future in our activities, that is if you wish to succead. Thasis the Evil |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-22-05, 11:47 PM | (OOC) shall i consider that as you joining us then? |
| thasis12-23-05, 01:25 AM | Yes, that was the general idea. |
| Tenzhi12-23-05, 02:22 AM | Styx Dragon “Fifth Order” Medium Dragon (Aquatic, Extraplanar) HD: Very Young, Advanced to 10 HD This is the same dragon that appeared to me in the Fortress of the Waves thread? And here I was misled into thinking it was much bigger than "Medium." "Beneath the old man's boat, a dark shape takes form, and soon, a massive draconic maw appears alongside the boat, then then body of 5th Order rises from the depths, staring, unblinking into the man's eyes" Massive draconic maw, eh? By whose standards? A pixie's? As a medium creature, it's only about 7 feet long in total. |
| Demonfey12-23-05, 02:30 AM | Considering that the picture of the styx dragon had its mouth close to the entire length of its head, which would probably be about a foot in this case, that would be a decent sized maw. |
| Tenzhi12-23-05, 02:35 AM | Yes, but "massive"? Not hardly. A hippo's maw isn't even massive (though it is somewhat impressive). But then, great wyrms these days barely even qualify as massive. |
| Demonfey12-23-05, 02:41 AM | True. I mean, what's so massive about a great wyrm that can't even get it's mouth around a ship and bite it in half? |
| thasis12-23-05, 02:54 AM | The whole point is he overexagurated the description. Not realy a big deal. |
| Demonfey12-23-05, 02:56 AM | It's still fun to have arguments about things like this, though. Helps cut through the boring times. |
| thasis12-23-05, 02:59 AM | That is true, but I dunno, something more constructive should be in order. |
| turalisj12-23-05, 10:26 AM | nvm |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-23-05, 02:55 PM | That is true, but I dunno, something more constructive should be in order. I agree, I did overexagerate, but its only for flavor, I tend to get into stories and such when I write, sorry and we should start work on the HSP, if Thasis & Hero are available for some help |
| The Kobold Hero12-23-05, 03:05 PM | Well, just remember that its huge for the character who is four feet tall! |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-23-05, 03:07 PM | Thanks Hero :pint: |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-23-05, 10:03 PM | Styx, Warden of HellSpike Prison, HoardStealer of The 5th Order of Falazure's Children of The Eternal Blood now, in everyone's opinion, which path should i take for Styx later on after he completes the HrS prestige class: dracolich vampiric dragon ghostly dragon skeletal dragon |
| Demonfey12-23-05, 10:23 PM | I'm partial to lichdom, personally. Just don't do it until you have sufficient character levels to burn. |
| thasis12-23-05, 11:00 PM | I think Vamparic Dragon. That could be insanely cool. I've always been a fan of dem. Plus they look insanely cool :D |
| jagggar12-23-05, 11:37 PM | I'll second vampiric. Lichdom seems overdone somehow. |
| thasis12-23-05, 11:39 PM | Oh just a tad, with the whole every BBEG in the Forgotten Realms being one :P |
| The Kobold Hero12-23-05, 11:53 PM | dracolich. but i have never seen a draconic vampire before so... |
| Demonfey12-24-05, 01:09 AM | Yeah, but then you always have to either have a darkness spell cast on you or wait until nightfall to go out, and if someone blessed the water upstream of you, you're pretty much f***ed. And you always have to be able to get to your hoard before daylight, or you're dead. |
| Dyne12-24-05, 01:12 AM | Vampires could just wear really thick clothing to protect themselves from the sun. Then again, few think of that. |
| Demonfey12-24-05, 01:15 AM | Kinda hard to clothe a dragon, though. |
| thasis12-24-05, 01:31 AM | You could create something like a kittie sweater... except a dragon sweater :P |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 01:35 AM | You could create something like a kittie sweater... except a dragon sweater :P :heehee omfg, i think i just pi**ed my pants.... hahaha or, if im not mistaken, there IS a spell somewhere which makes a vampire immune to sunlight, etc...but how to rid myself of the other weaknesses? wouldnt the swimming be voided since im aqautic? idk any ideas? |
| thasis12-24-05, 01:39 AM | Actualy if I'm correct it's a Prc that decreases the weakness's of the vampire. I think it's the Vampire Paragon. I'm not sure where it's located... it might actualy be boards created... |
| Tenzhi12-24-05, 02:06 AM | Vampires could just wear really thick clothing to protect themselves from the sun. Then again, few think of that. As long as they invest in Blindsight. Because if they use their eyes they'll end up destroyed by the sunlight. |
| Demonfey12-24-05, 02:10 AM | Wait! Why not have someone paint a spherical wall of force over so that the inside is completely covered! Vampire-hamster balls! |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 02:32 AM | Actualy if I'm correct it's a Prc that decreases the weakness's of the vampire. I think it's the Vampire Paragon. I'm not sure where it's located... it might actualy be boards created... i need to find ways to nulify ALL vampirism's weaknesses |
| thasis12-24-05, 02:34 AM | I'm pretty sure that's what it does. It's called Vampire Paragon. It's on the Prc boards. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 02:36 AM | I'm pretty sure that's what it does. It's called Vampire Paragon. It's on the Prc boards. link? and i have an idea if you are willing to help, Thasis....you know the half-fiend Duergar from MMII? well, im thinking of making a little "upgraded" version to use as followers.... |
| thasis12-24-05, 02:53 AM | Unfournetly I don't have the link anymore... but your idea sounds potentionaly intressting. What do you have in mind exactly? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 03:17 AM | Unfournetly I don't have the link anymore... but your idea sounds potentionaly intressting. What do you have in mind exactly? if you find it let me know, or you and I can create one anyway my idea was to take the base example of the Half-Fiend Durzagon from the MMII, and give it a few special touches, or completely remake it, but maybe use a different base creature? ( and change the half-fiend template a lil bit to make them more flavoured...i have some sick ideas in mind....) |
| thasis12-24-05, 03:19 AM | Just thinking... do they have a templete that Abominates things (turns them into Abomination versions of the creature)? |
| Demonfey12-24-05, 03:33 AM | Half-illithid. |
| thasis12-24-05, 03:46 AM | I ment other then that... I ment a templete that turns you into a hideos abominified version of what you previously were... without the Illthids... |
| Demonfey12-24-05, 03:52 AM | Not that I've seen (and completely noticed). Hell, half-farspawn are outsiders, as are pseudo creatures |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 04:01 AM | Just thinking... do they have a templete that Abominates things (turns them into Abomination versions of the creature)? Abomination....let's make a template! so we can overcome the vampirism weaknesses and really F things up hahaha |
| thasis12-24-05, 04:23 AM | Well what I was thinking is an Ambominified Succubus. That would be sooooo creepy! And yes, let's make a templete. It'll give us something to do during this time when there is not alot going on. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 04:39 AM | Well what I was thinking is an Ambominified Succubus. That would be sooooo creepy! And yes, let's make a templete. It'll give us something to do during this time when there is not alot going on. that might work...though we need a male counterpart |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 03:03 PM | shall we get to work then? if we do a template though, i want to replace the spells with extra abilities & some custom adjustments, to me, too many spells is a pain to deal with, you know?... |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 05:13 PM | just a thought: I want a Ruin Swarm... |
| thasis12-24-05, 07:42 PM | Ruin Swarms are from the ELH right? And a male counterpart could prove to work. And I'll work on the templete. I'll see what I can work up. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 08:17 PM | whoooo hooo! so is the tam----almost put tampon.... is the TEMPLATE gonna be put on the dragon? like an Abominified Dragon and yeah they are from the ELH |
| thasis12-24-05, 08:44 PM | The templete is a templete that could be added to any non-abomination creature. Atleast that was my thought. Basically it mutates the hell out of teh creature turning him it into a abomination. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 08:46 PM | Abomination-gasm? lmao sweet let me know how it turns out make it as sick, twisted, vile, and evil as possible |
| Dyne12-24-05, 08:50 PM | I don't know the specifics, but I'm guessing the template has an LA. If it does, you might have to lose a few HD in order to work it in, so as to keep under the 15 ECL limit. Either that, or figure out a way to gain the template IG (and the GM's might make you take it a bit at a time, level by level (like in Savage Species' monster classes, and Savage Progressions)). |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-24-05, 08:58 PM | we'll figure it out after it has been drawn up |
| Demonfey12-24-05, 11:43 PM | If you're looking for something that can be used as a character, the daelkyr halfblood (Magic of Eberron) is an aberration race without a level adjustment, and they start off with symbionts. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-25-05, 12:31 AM | If you're looking for something that can be used as a character, the daelkyr halfblood (Magic of Eberron) is an aberration race without a level adjustment, and they start off with symbionts. just might work do you have the stats? |
| Demonfey12-25-05, 12:42 AM | Yes: daelkyr half-blood medium aberration darkvision 60 ft, proficient with all simple weapons and weaponlike symbionts, and class allowed armors. They eat, sleep, and breathe base land speed: 30 Personal symbiont: you start with a symbiote from the table (1st-breed leech, crawling gauntlet, throwing scarab; 5th: stormstalk, winter cyst; 10th: spellwurm, tentacle whip; 15th: tongue worm). If said symbiote is lost, the grown symbiote takes 2d4 days to regrow, and that is the only one that can regrow. Other symbiotes aquired through other means don't. If the current one still lives, the replacement can't grow. They can grow a different kind at each level in the table. Symbiont mastery: gains as a bonus feat symbiont dependency: without daily contact with a symbiote, they lose a point of constitution each day. The constitution drain can only be reversed after they come in contact with a symbiote. Unbalanced mind: any attempt to analyze the mind of a half-blood causes the attempter to need to make a will save (10+1/2 half blood's level+ cha), or be dazed for 1 round Automatic languages: common; bonus language: daelkyr favored class: rogue. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-25-05, 01:20 AM | ok cool, whats the LA & would they gain the aberration subtype also? and can i add it to Styx? |
| Demonfey12-25-05, 02:03 AM | Oh, no. It's not a template. I posted a race. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-25-05, 02:12 AM | oh, oops, my bad i was thinking that was to be the template like Thasis & I wanted sorry goodnight all. Merry Christmas! |
| thasis12-25-05, 01:17 PM | Hmmm... I was actualy thinking this templete was for minions. Didn't know it was for your character. It'd be pretty wicked as a character though. And I got good reason why you could be one to... failed science experiment maybe? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-25-05, 03:01 PM | Hmmm... I was actualy thinking this templete was for minions. Didn't know it was for your character. It'd be pretty wicked as a character though. And I got good reason why you could be one to... failed science experiment maybe? perfect, and maybe we could do a symbiot version of it for minions? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest12-29-05, 12:09 AM | need to do this :bump: sorry |
| The Kobold Hero01-07-06, 03:20 PM | Was this the tread you were refering to in the Kobold Foundation? About the forum RPG? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest01-07-06, 07:09 PM | no, its a new thread in my spoiler |
| thasis02-19-06, 05:13 PM | Bump! What about the project of creating the new creature. Is that dead? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-19-06, 10:24 PM | what would you like to make....? |
| thasis02-19-06, 10:35 PM | Maybe I was mixing dreams with reality again... I have very vivid dreams were I do everyday things and I mix them with stuff I do in real life... maybe I was desiging a creature online in my dreams instead... ****ed up... Edit: Backtracked, nope, not a dream. We were designing something, check post 53-59. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-19-06, 11:42 PM | ah i remember, though instead of a template, lets make a new aberration....something epic that i can use im my online campaign... |
| thasis02-20-06, 10:04 AM | Mmmk... I'm good at stastics (many trial and error monster creations has honed mein skill) but my brain is fried for ideas lately. I'll see what I can do though. Any general starting ideas? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-20-06, 11:34 AM | Yes, but its not an aberration, i have a better idea. a shapeshifting lycanthrope-style fiend (im undecided as a demon or devil yet) with a CR between 20-30 i think i know what i want for him, but i completely bite at statistics |
| thasis02-20-06, 03:57 PM | Hmmmm... lycanthrope shapeshifting demonish figure aye. I'd go for the Abyssal creatures, cause they are just plain wicked. Evil is more of the calm methodical sinsister type. Is this creature pretty chaotic, in the sense of massacre haven? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-20-06, 04:25 PM | see thats where im debating, it is an extreme massacre machine, but it is methodical about it, it will not outright kill someone unless it knows it can get away unscathed. Form Ideas: (Animal-Type Form): A Swarm of Scorpions ??? (Hybrid Form): ??? (Base Form): ??? |
| thasis02-20-06, 06:08 PM | Hyrbrid Form = A humanlike figure with large wings, a scorpion tail, and poisonus fangs. Base Form: A snarling mass of gibbering flesh that has to stubby legs and an abonormally large mutated scorpion tail sticking from it's back that drips blue venom profousely. I feel so vile :D |

I feel so vile :D how bout this: Animal Form = Swarm of Scorpions (& Scarabs) Hybrid Form = Something which looks like Cerberus crossed with Anubis- a 3 Headed Werewolf looking man Base Form = something like a Shadow Demon, though shifts form between a Scorpion, a Scarab, Cerberus, and Anubis (although retains the same attacks and stuff) |
| thasis02-21-06, 06:16 PM | The idea deserved a cookie :cookie: |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-21-06, 07:49 PM | is it a good idea? what are we gonna do? how bout if i make up what we need & u stat it cause i suck with stats, i tried last night, somehow he only had like 47 hp on a CR of 25 & nothing came out right. dont ask....long story |
| thasis02-22-06, 09:35 AM | What CR? 25 as you said? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-22-06, 03:12 PM | yeah...idk major screwup CR 25 shall we make it then? sounds good so what is the actual layout going to be? Animal Form: Scorpion/Scarab Swarm Hybrid Form: (Looks like Anubis mixed with Cerberus - basically a 3 headed werewolf) Base Form: A humanoid figure who's characteristics shift between Anubis, Cerberus, A Scorpion, and a Scarab, although retain the same abilities and such |
| thasis02-22-06, 05:00 PM | Outsider with the Shapechanging subtype. Here's my outline... Outsider [Shapechanger] Hit Dice: 25d8+250 (263 HP) Iniative: +12 (That's only the Dexterity modifier, havn't decided feats yet :D ) Abilities: Str 28 +9, Dex 34 +12, Con 30 +10, Int 14 +2, Wis 23 +6, Cha 18 +4. Saves: Fort +24, Ref +26, Will +20. That's base, havn't worked out ANYTHING else yet, so that's not defenitive, especialy with epic feats that increase all of that in the picture. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-22-06, 07:05 PM | FREAKING SWEET! lol looks sick bro nice work |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-22-06, 11:09 PM | Outsider with the Shapechanging subtype. Here's my outline... Saves: Fort +24, Ref +26, Will +20. That's base, havn't worked out ANYTHING else yet, so that's not defenitive, especialy with epic feats that increase all of that in the picture. do you realize, at CR25, with that array- even as a basic idea...it's going to kick ass?! |
| thasis02-23-06, 10:12 PM | I'll come up with more soon. Jus thinking... wanna incorporate Incarnum into the creature? I jus picked up the Magic of Incarnum and am eager to do something with it. Also, I know it's going to kick ass, that's why I'm designing it that way. The CR can be appropiately increased if necessary. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-23-06, 10:32 PM | i dont have incarnum....damn ummm....we COULD use it as long as you put details on what each thing does ( i dont plan on getting the book, sorry ) so CR 25-30 will be good.... |
| thasis02-24-06, 06:06 PM | I'll abandom the Incarnum stuff considering I don't want to violate copyright infringment laws, and CR25-30 it is. Sorry I'm not quicker, I'm just REALY busy lately. Starting a new campaign and I'm DMing. 6 people to... don't think I've DMed a serious consistin campaign with that many people before. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-24-06, 10:27 PM | good, i reviewed Incarnum the other night,...dont really like it anyway, no problem, i can wait, just let me know how it goes thanks my friend let me know if you need any ideas--- im thinking of giving the creature signature weapons/items/ and maybe an artifact... |
| thasis02-24-06, 10:36 PM | An artifact might be to powerful for such a creature (even at epic level). Is this creature going to be a one-of-a-kind (like the Tarrasque) or is their going to be the option of multiples? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-24-06, 11:01 PM | hmmm....maybe a minor artifact (i've seen cr 20-ish demonlords with minor artifacts in Dragon Magazine) and i was thinkin of making it a unique creature, but one that spreads a lycanthropic-like disease |
| thasis02-25-06, 01:33 PM | Minor Artifact might work if it's a one-of-a-kind creature. A lycanthrope like disease aye... I'll see what I can do. I'm thinking of expanding the statistics a bit. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-25-06, 01:49 PM | well done my friend if you need help, ill be around tonight |

| thasis02-25-06, 02:13 PM | For the artifact I gave him the sword. If you want me to change that around I can. |

| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-26-06, 03:19 PM | i think i have some ideas.... |
| thasis02-26-06, 03:19 PM | Still working things out. My general concept is something to do with summoning swarms. Not exactly sure yet though. For all purposes it's a +5 Greatsword + artifact abilities. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-26-06, 03:21 PM | sweet maybe summon a Ruin Swarm composed of scarabs and scorpions |

Climate/Terrain: The Hells of Baator Organization: Solitary Challenge Rating: Undecided Treasure: Quadruple Standard Alignment: Lawful, Evil Advancement: By Character Class Zah'Nar was spawned on the third layer of hell. In his early years he quickly learned to abuse his natural shapeshifting powers. During his blood wars training he crushed any other devils that he thought would stop him from becoming the best. After he finished training he managed to snag a job working for a powerful devil lord. He served the devil lord loyaly, all the time planning the death of his master. After many years of servitude Zah'Nar killed his master and took his place. Numereous other devils saw the chaos that had errupted from the usurping and tried to seize power themselves. Zah'Nar was smart however and quickly eliminated them through small insurgent teams and hired blood wars mercenaries. Zah'Nar now plays as a crucial general and devil lord in the blood wars, combating mainly on the 398th lair of the abyss, attempting to seize power. Zah'Nar stands about 20ft tall. In Hybrid form his lower body is that of a black snake with red stripes. His upper torso is that of a scorpion. His hands end is large scorpion pincer drenched in infernal poisons. His teath are also covered in a corrosive liquad. Zah'Nar's motives are to attempt to take control of the 398th lair of hell for himself becoming one of the few devils who actualy control a lair of the abyss. Zah'Nar speaks common, infernal, abyssal, orc, goblin, terran, igan, aquan, auran, celestial, and elven. Combat Zah'Nar usualy fights through his minions. On the odd occasion he will fight personally himself. That is only when he belivies he cannot trust anybody else with a mission, or somebody directly comes and attacks him. If he fights, Zah'Nar uses his acid breath as much as possible to attempt to weaken the enemy quickly. If the opponent proves to have extremly good armor he quickly destroys it with his corrosive bite. On almost every turn he also attempts to inflict the person with the infernal poison covering his hands. His spell like abilities are usualy used on in situations where the absoloutly fit. He will only use them if he finds his normal unlimmited attacks aren't working. Acid Breath : Once per round as a standard action a Zah'Nar can make a 50ft cone breath attack (DC26 Reflex Save/Half Damage) that deals 10d10 acid damage. Corrosive Bite : If a Zah'Nar makes a succesful bite attack the target's armor takes 2d10 damage from the corrosive nature of the creatures bite. | Kobold_Ur_Priest03-01-06, 03:32 PM | :OMG! sweet, how's base/swarm forms coming? & i hope all's well |
| thasis03-02-06, 01:28 PM | Finnaly at school again so I'm getting their. I havn't even started the other forms... I'm thinking for scorpion form I'm just going to say he turns into a Ruin Swarm (Epic Level Handbook). For Base form... I'll work something ;) I have powers! |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest03-02-06, 04:09 PM | alrighty then. thats cool. so hybrid form as mentioned above animal(swarm) = ruin swarm composed of scarabs and scorpions base for = something like a glabrezu (wolf demon w/ pincers) of sorts...(at least thats the image in my head) |
| thasis03-06-06, 12:23 AM | So what exactly statistic-wise do you have in mind for this creatures base form. I'm not sure exactly what sort of powers you wish for it to have. My minds creativity spark is going off again though so I'm ready for any combination of unusual powers. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest03-06-06, 03:17 PM | well, for the base form.... wow...um... lets give him the ability to manifest aspects of scorpions/scarabs...such as a tail/stinger & set of pincers...and all kinds of unique things, i dont know, just make it crazy....my creativity is out of tune right now also... |
| thasis03-07-06, 06:30 PM | I actualy ment that my creativity spark is going off in the sense of it's flashing and going wild. Lotz of creativity. Don't worry, I'll think of something. |

Don't worry, I'll think of something. ah, lol you must have taken what i lost, lol im sooo out of the creative zone right now, i can barely think straight from all the projects i've been doing especially the Family Tree project....gahhhh |
