Fair Warning! If your thread is over 1000 post long, Shadow and I highly suggest that you start to archive material from such thread soon. During the next pruning (expected some time after UnCon in September), The main reason for performing the prune is to remove some of the out-of-date threads. However, this time one of the last items we're going is going to prune the threads that are over 1000 posts long on the RPG boards. Once the thread is pruned, it's going to be impossible to get material from the thread. Shado and I just wanted to give everyone an early warning because we know we have several threads on this board over that length containing material that the posters want to save. Also, as a rule of thumb in the future, you might want to consider stoppping a thread at 1000 posts and starting a new one. This is similar to the activity that they do over on the Casle of Fun. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contect (through either PM or e-mail) either WizO_Shadow or myself. ps: Keep in mind thatthere are two ways of doing this. You can either: 1) a) Select Thread Tools b) Select Download this Thread c) Select Open d) Save this file to your computer. It will be a .txt file. 2) Cut and paste everything over to MSWord. I've done both in the past. Probably step 1 may be a little less time consuming. FYI.
