Portal Concepts for the Inter-Foundation Games [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-30-05, 03:50 AM Hi there everyone. This is the first in our polls. There are seven polls that seek responses the the questions you formulated at MetaThread for the period covering the Christmas 2004 to January 2005 period. Polls 6 & 7 are additional questions that need to be asked before writing the rules.

The five threads are:

1. Portal Concepts for the Inter-Foundation Games
2. PC Concepts
3. Frameworks for Overarching Rules
4. Black Operations
5. Newcomers, Recruits and Managing Level Variation
6. Roles, Hierarchies and In-Game Promotion Opportunities
7. Game Rewards & Penalties

This Poll is Portal Concepts for the Inter-Foundation Games and it is comprised of three groups of questions. The first two questions ask you about whether or not you want portals. Questions 3 to 5 want to know about how important you think Portals should be for the Inter-Foundation Games, and questions 6 to 9 want to know what kinds of portals you would like. Questions 6 to 9 are especially interested in how much control over portal destination you would think would make the game interesting and engaging. The last 19 questions, ask you about the kind of flavour concepts (fluff) and activation concepts - the crunch - that you think would make the portals most interesting.

Feel free to post comments onto the thread, and don't forget to PM or post us your URLs for your top five or so MetaThread Posts. Those URLs are a chance for you to tell us what is most important for you in the Inter-Foundation Games.
