03-25-05, 07:28 PM Welcome to the Raizer mercanary academy, the most *cough yeah right* honorable academy on the material plane. construction has just begun, and positions are open for those who want to teach.

guild goals:
train aspiring thieves, mercanaries, assasins, and gurrialla warfare soldiers in the latest combat tactics. this guild also has a secret goal, which will be revealed to the student at graduation.

guild house statistics(what the academy looks like and such)
the academy ia located on a mountain that has been flattend out magically. located over 100miles from the nearest metrpolis, there are virtually no maps that will show you the way here.

"Hello old friend. This is quite the place you have here. It was not easy to find, but I like it. I believe I may be able to fill one of those teaching jobs."

Looks very interesting Solmund.
I wouldn't mind taking the position of "general history." Just tell me what to do and I am there.

03-25-05, 10:12 PM general history means you have to have atleast 8 ranks in knowledge (history) and minimun 5 ranks on two other knowledge skills. also, what would you like fpr your teachers quarters? (up to 10k for each teacher)

"long time to see. the academy is kept hiddent for good cause. we are about 2% done with the primary area. all of the teachers quarters will be made from adamantine, allowing maximum protection. the teachers all get a fancy bedroom suite. i myself get a luxery suite. the students each get a basic bedroom, with a door connecting every other bedroom. the quarters are assigned in male/female fashion, but the doors connecting the rooms are sealed to prevent anyone but the person of the same gender from entering. the portal to the jesters guild has been guarded with more spells that a wizards spellbook. 10 balistas are being constructed and my construction manager has assured me that this place is impenitrable, should it ever come to that. unfortunatly, there seems to be an army of giants mobilizing. but the academy should be finished by then."

He comes up, lifts his hat above his head, and casts it near the ground in a simple bow.

"My name is Gael, and I'd be interested in a position here: Instructor of Infiltration."

A five foot man walks into the under-construction complex, with a modest grin on his face. He's dressed in simple, white clothing, with a thick white cloak thrown across his back, and wearing a white beret atop his head. He comes up, lifts his hat above his head, and casts it near the ground in a simple bow.

"My name is Gael, and I'd be interested in a position here: Instructor of Infiltration."
"greetings. yoyu says you want to take the position of infiltration? do you have any history and training in the field? if so then come into the temporary quarters and have a drink of moondrop wine so you can tell us what your background is." solmund says, turning towards his friend. "if you would like to join us, you're more than welcome."

03-27-05, 10:40 AM i need any sorcerers or wizards that need work to help in the construction. i need the following spells a few times a day:wall of stone, telekinesis, fabricate, air walk(fly or levitate will work). please note that this will take up your time for atleast 5 weeks.

"i might just have a job for you. do you know how to cast wall of stone? if so then you are gladly welcomed. and the teaching position of instructor of magic will be yours as well as a small payment for your troubles.
what do you say to 500 per section done for casting wall of stone? you'll need to cast it 8 times per section though. i currently have 49-sections. i am also looking into floating the academy for protection.
and just so you know, this is NOT an evil academy. it is nuetral aligned. good and evil alike are welcome to apply. i just want to make that clear so people don't get any ideas about this place.

03-27-05, 02:53 PM Hmmmmm, I don't know if I can cast Wall of Stone. I'm a Skygge which has a high LA and I don't have my PHB on me so I don't know what lv ya have to be to cast Wall of Stone so I don't know. Probally not though. But I do know alot about Magic both Divine and Arcane and I have a fair share of Psionic knowledge.

03-27-05, 04:17 PM We'll I already got a ranger working at the swordpoint military academy but I could also teach your men in the ways of Guerrila warfare as that is pretty much what rangers do. Also, As I operate far away from the academy I'm pretty much free to teach whoever I want. Also in RL I got quite a bit of knowldge of the subject if I might say.

03-28-05, 01:28 PM A man in a grey cloak walks in, I am good at a number of things, what do you need. *pulls two hand cross bows from his cloak shoots eight bolts in to an 8"X8" block of wood, where can I be of assistance.

03-29-05, 02:05 AM Just came over to notify everyone here of something. I intend to quit the playing aspect of all guilds I'm currently involved in. I'll still be making RP contributions, I just won't be making any statistical contributions to any of the guilds in the INter Foundation Games as anything but a GM.

I'd still like my character, Gael, to participate in-character as the Professor of Infiltration, but if you want a character who can make statistical contributions to the guild, Gael won't be your man.

HEY! I killed the spam and if you kill me then you will be killing the wixard that is going to be helping you build this place and you will be killing a teacher.

i can kill the spam myself, by simply calling for wizo intervention. teachers and wizards can be replaced for almost no charge at all. and thanks to the secluded area of the academy, no one will even know about your death.

you are now sentenced to death. by burning your spellbooks and pouring the ashes down your throat. :D

Hmmm Very creative, but I have friends in all the right places.
*suddenly a small army of Warriors (mostly NPC followers, but there are a few PCs and a cohort in there :P ) who then break throw the Monks and grab Cazic*

05-01-05, 02:32 AM Hello, Raizer members. I feel obligated to let you know about this post -- a call to arms to any guild who wants to be the Guild House's place to go for mercs. I posted this because this guild appears to be slowing, and we'd really like to see some mercs in the games. Preferably, these would come from a PC organization (like this one), but if not, then they'll be provided by NPCs.

Anyway, check the post, and let me know if you guys are interested!
