| Elvez4ever06-02-06, 11:05 AM | Welcome to the founding of the E.A. As a fan of elves, I feel that everyone with a devotion to such a great race needs to have a place where they can all come toghether. The 5 Cardinal Rules are as follows: 1. Respect nature and all those who uphold it. 2. The bow will always defeat the sword. 3. Defeat the darkness, for it is the enemy of light. 4. Art, in any form, is the greatest expression of emotion. 5. Live. Love. Learn. I will be willing to accept reasonable alliances with other guilds as I see fit. If anyone has any objections to anything I do or say, speak up and I will consider your feelings. All manner of elves are accepted hear, including non-evil drow, for we are kin, and toghether we stand strong. Help recruit new members! Link to this page in your sig! :D |
| Elvez4ever06-02-06, 11:35 AM | Our official message to the Guild of Ultimate Evil- "Beware you filthy creatures of the under-dark, by making an enemy of the Half-elves, you've made and enemy out of the Elven Alliance. May our arrows pierce your armor like the chill of winter..." - A message from the E.A. note- attempting to secure an alliance with The Forest Dwellers Foundation. |
| thasis06-02-06, 03:44 PM | Out of the darkness a large black fiendish monstrosity calmy strides up to the leader, "I'm using much restraint to tear you limb from limb". With that he flexes his massive muscles and makes his long powerful claws very apparent, "You do not know who you are messing with when you make us enemies. We are the strongest foundation in the running. The few who appose us are scattered and hiding. At this momment we have a strong base, membership, and holding on the lands. We also have people waiting in the shadows, silently waiting for the oppurtune momment to return". With that he lets out a loud roar and flexes his muscle again, "Remember that I spared your life". He then slides into the shadows once again and disapears. |
| Zombomaniac06-02-06, 04:58 PM | "Quite the interesting fellow, isn't he?" A figure steps out from behind a pillar. He is a stricking sight as he is dressed in all blue explorer's gear, bears a striking resemblence to a Monkey, and even his fur as a blue tent to it. The Monkey-man stands to a strong 5 almost 6 feet, but seems slimly built, he wears a slite grin on the corner of his lips that seems to be there as a natural part of him, and holds a staff with many small, stark white, animal skulls tied to the top. He turns away from the, now much smaller, shadows and looks to the leader of the Guild. "Greetings fair Elf, I am Rava the Blue. I heard tell of your Alliance and felt we may gain from each other, for we Vanara are much the same as Elves with nature, though some might say we are closer to it, but it matters not. Shall we be friends, furless one?" |
| Wilds06-02-06, 06:04 PM | A werewolf bounds in. " Excellent more elves....they always taste good." And leaves |
| Wilds06-02-06, 06:07 PM | A tall dragonborn walks into the room. "Begone lycan, your kind are not welcomed in a place of hope and light." Turning to the main person, "I serve Bahamut, the Light of Dragons." |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-02-06, 07:07 PM | An ebony furred lycan & small leatherclad figure step into the room, their bodies moving as one; and it is as one that a voice issues forth, both sets of lips moving in unison: " We are the voice of Deimos De Malus, Terror of The Wicked, Consumer of souls.....you shall soon join the death heaps, and your carcasses shall burn." With that, they turn, once again as one and vanish in silence. |
| Zombomaniac06-02-06, 10:56 PM | "So . . .two Were-Wolves and a midget walk into a place of Good, threaten people's lives, and then leave. What have we learned?" Rava pauses for dramatics and leans forward a bit. "The Front Door must be locked at all times. -- Just a suggestion." |
| thasis06-02-06, 11:10 PM | A deep voice resonates through the chambers, "We do not need doors to come in. We simply need the shadows". |
| Zombomaniac06-02-06, 11:14 PM | A deep voice resonates through the chambers, "We do not need doors to come in. We simply need the shadows". Rava looks around the room and under his arms. "Great, just great. I'm hearing voices again. I knew I shouldn't of had what the Dwarf was drinking." |
| thasis06-02-06, 11:17 PM | A deep resonating laughter penetrates your ear canals, "I am no simple voice. I am all you were born to fear. I am hatred and darkness in pure material form. I am what you should bow to and serve" |
| Zombomaniac06-02-06, 11:24 PM | A deep resonating laughter penetrates your ear canals, "I am no simple voice. I am all you were born to fear. I am hatred and darkness in pure material form. I am what you should bow to and serve" "'Born to fear' you say? Sounds like my month of shedding." A uncontroled shudder runs through Rava's body. "By the Water Spirits, I hate that month. Furr gets all over the furniture and once it grows back in I have to redie it blue all over again." Another shudder runs through Rava's body. |
| Elvez4ever06-02-06, 11:26 PM | "Ahhhh.... But what you do not realize you simple creatures of the darkness, is that this is OUR turf... not your vile garbage pit you call a guild. Might I show you the way out?" A hawk cry is heard in the distance... It's a signal arrow! A swarm of arrows follow from within the trees, coimg from all sides. Hawks, wolves, and all manner of creatures charge form air and land. They nip, claw, bite, and peck. The blood gushes from the wounds of the enemies, staining the ground a crimson red. The intruders are slowly forced back into the tree line. This time, only a small amount of arrows fly from the trees. They strike with deadly aim, giving a cut along the left cheek of each of the intruders. "A token, so you may remember this day, and never again mock the power of nature. Remember, the dead of winter can kill even the strongest beast..." "Dragonborn....Rava...., I'm sorry for such a rude break in. My humble apologies. Dragonborn, speak your name. As for you Rava, make yourself at home and I'm sure some of the clansfolk will tend to you." |
| Zombomaniac06-02-06, 11:35 PM | Ok this is where the Rules Laywer in me shows up. If you dont have the stated ability to shoot, God knows, how many arrows then dont do it. Also dont do stuff like "giving a cut along the left cheek of each of the intruders" that is meta-gaming. Meta-Gaming is very very bad. You can verbaly threaten them, IC, all you like, but dont step into phsycal action unless you can really do it, by the rules. Now I just need to think of a good RP to respond to you. :thinks: |
| Elvez4ever06-02-06, 11:38 PM | Alrighty sorry. So I might have to wait to acctually have members before hails of arrows can come flying out of trees? :D Won't happen again... Sorry I just figured game wise an elven alliance would be fairly old and therefore have strong defences... once again sorry... :D |
| Zombomaniac06-02-06, 11:41 PM | Alrighty sorry. So I might have to wait to acctually have members before hails of arrows can come flying out of trees? :D Won't happen again... That is all we ask. Thank you. |
| Elvez4ever06-02-06, 11:45 PM | Ok. That's settled... BACK TO GAMING! :D :D :D All manner of elves rush to Rava bringing different and exotic things. Fresh fruits and crystal clear spring water is set before Rava. Meta gaming 4 1 sec, what gender is Rava? Thanks. |
| Zombomaniac06-02-06, 11:50 PM | Rava the Blue is male. :) He is a Vanara from Rokugan. You can find this stuff in Oriental Adventures. |
| Elvez4ever06-02-06, 11:54 PM | Thought so but thank you! :) Next move is yours Rava |
| Zombomaniac06-03-06, 12:06 AM | Rava picks an Apple from one of the Elves and thanks him or her. Then waves the rest away. "Have to watch my figure you know." Rava laughs after this and leans against the piller. "So we are three strong know. We'll have to find ourselves a place to stay." We will have to start thinking about the rules side of things soon. All of us have to make our 7 ECL PCs and we will have to aquire the land we will start our Alliance from. I will have to look up the rules for all this again and then I will make a better to-do list and hopefully get a lot of it started. |
| jagggar06-03-06, 12:08 AM | You can verbaly threaten them, IC, all you like, but dont step into phsycal action unless you can really do it, by the rules. *puts on GM uniform* There aren't any rules. There aren't going to be any rules except for Freedom of Destiny. Freedom of Destiny means the arrows can fly, but the targets get to decide if they hit or not or whatever else. You control what happens to your characters, but you can't control what happens to anyone else's characters. Now, if we end up with a ton of people dodging everything, we'll toss in a d20 roll. More details on that in Meta or if/when it comes up. |

| Zombomaniac06-03-06, 12:16 AM | Thank you^ So without the arrow/cheek thing that post was legal? That depends on if we go with FoD IFWG or By the Rules IFWG. FoD we do what ever we want basicly. By the Rules we play DnD. I myself am only going to be playing By the Rules IFWG. |
| Elvez4ever06-03-06, 12:21 AM | "You are more than welcome to stay here guest Rava. We've taken tree homes a step further. The bridges you see outside are infact leading to balconies, the homes themselves are built into the ancient trees of this glade. I can has Ka'Lashar take you to your room. He's the best bard among us and I think you would enjoy his company very much." |
| thasis06-03-06, 12:51 AM | I prefer the rules based. I say scrap the freedom of destiny thing (even for the old IFGW round that is seemingly continuing in the guilds) and do rules based. It's soooo much easier and less argueing. |
| jagggar06-03-06, 01:03 AM | If ya wanna go over this again, go to Meta (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=581509). No need to clutter a newly started foundation with it. |
| thasis06-03-06, 01:25 AM | A short old man slowly strides into the halls of the Elven Alliance. He starts to speak in a kind and genereous voice, "Hello. My name is Thasis the Good. Do not get me mixed up with my kindred Thasis the Evil, though we do share a very similiar name we are nothing alike. I am here to represent the Guild of Pure Good. We do wish to procead with an alliance as this can help both of us greatly. Is there any specific terms you wish to discuss?" |
| redhase06-03-06, 02:11 AM | Can elves get along with each other? Remember the Elven Crown Wars, Elves even turn evil. Not everything Elfs do is good, some of my best Necromancer friends are evil Litch elves. The only good elf is a breeder to a demon, Long live the deamonfey the true elves. Go ahead and make a tready with those tree huggers, their time is limited also like yours. ARRRRRRRR What a Rush! |
| thasis06-03-06, 02:50 AM | Well elves can be evil, but orcs can also be good. This guild is mainly focusing on the good elves. Evil elves usualy go and join the GoUE. |
| Elvez4ever06-03-06, 11:33 AM | If you read my first post this is for all NON-EVIL elves.... |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-03-06, 11:39 AM | "So . . .two Were-Wolves and a midget walk into a place of Good, threaten people's lives, and then leave. What have we learned?" Rava pauses for dramatics and leans forward a bit. "The Front Door must be locked at all times. -- Just a suggestion." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! i'm sig'n it later.... |

We do wish to procead with an alliance as this can help both of us greatly. Is there any specific terms you wish to discuss?" "I think that an alliance would be most agreeable. I'm willing to give you food, equipment, entertainment (Ka'Lash is quite a good bard...), shelter and if you or any of your guild members ever need it. In return I ask only for a trusted ally who will assist me when need be." |
| Elvez4ever06-03-06, 12:50 PM | "'Born to fear' you say? Sounds like my month of shedding." A uncontroled shudder runs through Rava's body. "By the Water Spirits, I hate that month. Furr gets all over the furniture and once it grows back in I have to redie it blue all over again." | Kobold_Ur_Priest06-03-06, 12:58 PM | stop. anyway, check back in the GoUE. |
| Elvez4ever06-03-06, 12:59 PM | ok and ok honestly i was just bored.... don't know what came over me sorry |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-03-06, 01:01 PM | ok and ok honestly i was just bored.... don't know what came over me sorry its ok, just dont do it a lot, or you'll get in trouble some people who shall remain nameless used to spam the hell outta the boards w/smilies |

| Zombomaniac06-03-06, 04:16 PM | Unintentional. System did it.... We know. :) |
| thasis06-03-06, 04:25 PM | Thasis the Good nods his head to the leader of this fair establisment, "An allyhood we have. Let us enjoy eachothers company and alliance for years to come" |
| Aramar the Black06-05-06, 12:23 AM | A grey pather strolls in, moves itself to the side of the actions, and sits itself down. It seems very calm, yet alert and attentive to it's surroundings. |
| thasis06-05-06, 12:35 AM | When a panther walks in you know a cougar will follow :D |
| Aramar the Black06-05-06, 12:44 AM | As well as a leopard, mountain lion, and a puma. |
| thasis06-05-06, 12:48 AM | I ate a puma once... tasted like beef :P |
| Aramar the Black06-05-06, 12:53 AM | So not everything tastes like chicken.... Ever notice how most meat taste like something else? And that's not limited to fast-food meat, either. |
| thasis06-05-06, 01:06 AM | Well atleast we can compare it to something else. Everything has a distinctive flavor, but things usualy can be compared to other food (with the exception of some realy bizzare shizaki). |
| Elvez4ever06-05-06, 12:39 PM | Alligator tastes like beef too.... |
| Tenzhi06-05-06, 01:13 PM | I swear, elves are beginning to procreate like goblins. It seems like every time I turn around, more elves spring up from the trees that just sprang up. But ere the End they'll all be devoured by the Elf-Bane. |
| jagggar06-05-06, 01:32 PM | And the next post will be about what elves taste like to get us back on topic? :P |
| Aramar the Black06-05-06, 01:44 PM | And the next post will be about what elves taste like to get us back on topic? :P I was hoping it wouldn't come to that. |
| Elvez4ever06-05-06, 02:27 PM | Acctually Elves are something like salmon.... Very fleshy, lots of bones..... ummmm not that i would know..... :angelhide |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-05-06, 07:48 PM | http://boards1.wizards.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4113&stc=1 The Symbol of Deimos De Malus The War Father's is comng soon. |
| thasis06-05-06, 08:58 PM | Probally the wrong thread for that... but... OMFG THAT RULEZ ALL 1337! |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-05-06, 09:23 PM | seeing as it will be burned into their flesh soon, i believe it's the perfect thread for it.... |
| Aramar the Black06-05-06, 09:30 PM | Umm, if I've already had a symbol buned into my flesh, can I pass on this one? |
| Dyne06-05-06, 09:36 PM | An Elf in emerald green robes leaning on a staff of wood appears amongst the Elf Alliance. Curious about the new establishment, he looks around, until he finds a note: Our official message to the Guild of Ultimate Evil- "Beware you filthy creatures of the under-dark, by making an enemy of the Half-elves, you've made and enemy out of the Elven Alliance. May our arrows pierce your armor like the chill of winter..." - A message from the E.A. note- attempting to secure an alliance with The Forest Dwellers Foundation. Dyne the Archmage scratches his head. Why would anyone want to back the Half-Elves anymore? Especially at risk against the Guild of Evil? Shaking his head, he turns and vanishes. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-05-06, 09:54 PM | Umm, if I've already had a symbol buned into my flesh, can I pass on this one? If you oppose DDM & The War Father, then no, you're body will feed the pyre like the rest of them.... |
| Aramar the Black06-05-06, 11:33 PM | I just hope you weren't planning to put it prominetly on my chest; my front is taken. And he who has branded me before is quite powerful. |

Curious about the new establishment, he looks around, until he finds a note: Dyne the Archmage scratches his head. Why would anyone want to back the Half-Elves anymore? Especially at risk against the Guild of Evil? Shaking his head, he turns and vanishes. Rava stares at where the Elf stood with a perplexed look upon him. “What’s he talking about?” He scans the room, but still looks unsettled. “I don’t see any Half-Elves,” He looks the room over again, checking behind pillars and in dark corners, even spinning around very fast a few times to make sure no one is hiding behind him. He leans over to the Panther and whispers to him. “What’s the crazy green guy talking about? There arn't any Short-Ears here." |
| Tenzhi06-06-06, 11:10 AM | Acctually Elves are something like salmon.... Very fleshy, lots of bones..... ummmm not that i would know..... :angelhide Actually, elves tend to be somewhat thin rather than particularly fleshy. They have a flavour similar to bacon only sweeter and with a smoky aftertaste. Their normally brittle bones have a strange composition that causes them to become candy-like when cooked - crunchy but soft enough for normal humanoids to eat safely. I find a marinade of coffee, butter, garlic, pepper, and (oddly enough) nutmeg for four hours before cooking really enhances the flavour and tenderness. They also cook well with a generous brown sugar glaze. And I would know, for I am the Elf-Bane. :dragon: |
| jagggar06-06-06, 07:14 PM | They have a flavour similar to bacon only sweeter and with a smoky aftertaste. Well, if everyone didn't insist on BBQing them . . . :mage: |
| thasis06-06-06, 08:35 PM | I tried elf once... they tasted like your... MOTHER! :D |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-06-06, 08:36 PM | Well, if everyone didn't insist on BBQing them . . . :mage: Mmm...Teriyaki..... |
| Dyne06-07-06, 06:34 PM | Rava stares at where the Elf stood with a perplexed look upon him. There arn't any Short-Ears here." The "green guy" reappears. "Oh, they're here all right, but... in disguise." :shifty: His voice drops to a whisper. "There are Half-Elves among us!" |
| thasis06-07-06, 06:41 PM | "When I realize who is who I will devour there very essence and soul... and then I will deface their bodies for all to see" |
| Zombomaniac06-07-06, 07:46 PM | The "green guy" reappears. "Oh, they're here all right, but... in disguise." :shifty: His voice drops to a whisper. "There are Half-Elves among us!" Rava leans over to whisper back. "There are crazy people among us, too!" "When I realize who is who I will devour their very essence and soul... and then I will deface their bodies for all to see" Rava rubs his head. "Damn, still hearing voices. " |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 08:03 PM | Appearing without a sound, a mighty Warforged sits atop a Metal Destrier, a great axe in hand, and a heavy flail dangling from his back. "It seems that the time has come for myself to intervene on the War Father's half. I am War Child, Son of the Father, and I am here to bring his will upon this place." The Warforged & its mount are fierce sights to behold as they enter the Hall...their black adamantine bodies burn with Abyssal flames, and their metallic carapaces are covered in brutal spikes dripping fresh blood. (Equin Golem "Metal Destrier" & War Child's bodies have multiple continual flame spells on them-which can be activated/deactivated at will) |
| thasis06-07-06, 09:04 PM | Do you plan to start a conflict? If so is your character approved? If not you can't have a conflict as in the FoD thing we've decided no conflicts. Also, is your creation approved? And do you have enough money to create this, in character. All of this can be ignored if this is a FoD character, but still, you cannot officialy attack others, cause if I'm correct then FoD characters can't conflict. |
| Dyne06-07-06, 09:31 PM | Sure they can, they just automatically lose. |
| Zombomaniac06-07-06, 09:58 PM | Ok Priest, If this thread is FoD (please God don't let it be), I have no idea if what you are doing is legal. If it is ECL 7 what you are doing is ill-legal since you have no approved stated character. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 10:13 PM | ITS ECL 7 have him approved then, link's in sig as for money, yes, his equipment is within range (Cont. Flames spells arent though-they're only being used now for flavor) as for FoD, the Forge's army is semi-FoD |
| thasis06-07-06, 10:13 PM | As far as I know this thread is ECL15. If not... oooooo boy. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 10:16 PM | As far as I know this thread is ECL15. If not... oooooo boy. LMAO! |
| thasis06-07-06, 10:18 PM | This is not so much of a laughing matter as a OMG people are going to abuse the rules, create problems, and collapse things back down right as we are starting to get things back up. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 10:20 PM | im only ECL 7, nothing more and im not using/doind anything "special" so as far as i know, im good for the next round when i get approved that is |
| Zombomaniac06-07-06, 10:39 PM | Ok thats it. @Elvez4ever Elvez4ever is this thread Freedom of Destiny based, By the Rules ECL 7 based, or Old IFWG ECL 15 based? Until Elvez4ever responds to this the IG actions must stop. Also on the mention of mixing FoD and ECL 7: OH MY GOD, MAKE IT STOP!!!!! There can be no mixing of IFWG styles. None! It will confuse people who haven't been here long, it will open many doors for missunderstanding (which around here leads to arguments and then, more often then not, flaming), and it will cause more problems then I can count. Please God! No mixing! I beg of your common sense! If you can't do it with the rules don't do it. :weep: |
| thasis06-07-06, 10:47 PM | Yah, definitly no mixing. The only mixing that I've heard of is the ECL15 and FoD, but realy, the ECL15 might be going to another boards... so meh. |
| Dyne06-07-06, 10:47 PM | Ok thats it. @Elvez4ever Elvez4ever is this thread Freedom of Destiny based, By the Rules ECL 7 based, or Old IFWG ECL 15 based? Why is there more than one kind? Since when do we have three different games running? If we're gonna encourage new players to get involved, we're gonna have to just choose one and stick with it. Otherwise, it's gonna confuse the :censored: out of people. |
| thasis06-07-06, 10:49 PM | I thinking that we should either scrap FoD and late ECL15 take over and put ECL7 on diffrent threads (as planned for the ECL7), Scrap both FoD and ECL15 (or atleast have it relocated) and let ECL7 completly take over and have the actual foundations for there original purposes of however it was like before the "IFWG", or make some sort of absolution. Nobodies willing to take the iniative though. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 10:52 PM | i meant the army (listed in my link to War Child's stats) is purchased by the Forge, i.e not run by him, but by the Guild itself...hence semi-FoD, unless thats still ECL 7? |
| Zombomaniac06-07-06, 11:02 PM | Why is there more than one kind? Since when do we have three different games running? If we're gonna encourage new players to get involved, we're gonna have to just choose one and stick with it. Otherwise, it's gonna confuse the out of :censored: people. I actually agree. But it came into existance with a reason. In the begining there was almost no one that wanted to lose their ECL 15 PCs when the "Round 2" started, but the GMs (and I am glad they did this) wouldn't let the ECL 15s in with the ECL 7s. So they felt creating the FoD stuff would be a good compromise. At the time everyone agreed. They could keep their PCs and such, but after so long no one really cares any more and no one wants FoD. I say we scrape it. I thinking that we should either scrap FoD and let ECL15 take over and put ECL7 on diffrent threads (as planned for the ECL7), Scrap both FoD and ECL15 (or atleast have it relocated) and let ECL7 completly take over and have the actual foundations for there original purposes of however it was like before the "IFWG", or make some sort of absolution. Nobodies willing to take the iniative though. Scrape FoD? Yes Let ECL 15 take over? No Relocate ECL 15? Yes Let ECL 7 take over? Yes I am all for letting you do the ECL 15 thing (might join if it gets rolling) but I am not for losing the ECL 7. I really like the lower power stage. We will get more Character Development and actualy have to work for some things. i meant the army (listed in my link to War Child's stats) is purchased by the Forge, i.e not run by him, but by the Guild itself...hence semi-FoD, unless thats still ECL 7? Is War Child in charge? If yes then it isn't legal. If no then mabye. We'll have to figure that out. :) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-07-06, 11:06 PM | no, he's not. the army is run by the Forge Mechanicus itself (which actually happens to be a sentient construct-fortress citadel created by the War Father) |
| jagggar06-07-06, 11:50 PM | *smacks everyone the way Gibbs from NCIS does* Didn't I say do this in Meta? I'm on Dial-Up. So I'll slowly review the thread and post responses in Meta. |
| thasis06-08-06, 01:50 AM | Jaggar is kinnda right. Not the best thread for this...<<...>>... |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-08-06, 09:28 AM | ok well my point's been made, and im off to play Battlefield 2: MC on PS2 so later guys & gals |
| thasis06-08-06, 04:31 PM | Mmm... let's just try to keep stuff in there appropiate threads from now on. And let's also try to keep down the spam... :( |
| turalisj06-08-06, 05:27 PM | An elf appears behind the group, a black cloak with ebony claspers hiding his face. I am here on behalf of his majesty, lord Turalisj. The elf says, bowing. He has sent me here to aid this guild in matters of the new war that is coming. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-08-06, 06:47 PM | The warforged glares at the newcomer. "Why must your kind keep breeding?" He smirks, his metal jaws grinding slightly. |
| thasis06-08-06, 07:26 PM | Thasis the Evil grins from the shadows which he has seemingly made his home, "Elves, as much as this guild is despicably full of good ones, have there purpose. Elves themselves I have nothing againsts. Elves of the good alignment? They are simply into existance for us to manipulate to our own uses. Everything is going as I planned. Don't think I've ignored the situation. My direct influence effects all, whether they know it or not" |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-08-06, 07:51 PM | War Child turns, facing the shadows. "It is in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Thrice-Forged that I make His word be known!" Behind him, a small figure enters, carrying a large standard displaying a tattered, bloody banner which depicts an upraised flaming greataxe being held aloft by a mechanical arm. In it's other hand, a cruel looking warhammer hangs at the ready. NOTE: nothing I'm doing is conflict oriented; I just like an entrance to be dramatic. |
| Lady Rolindin06-08-06, 09:41 PM | I like the ideal of a new elf guild, lets see what happens. why do the evil characters like to visite the other guilds so much. thais the evil and the war child hanging around the elf guild, something must be happing here. war forged things, i'll have to borrow some ebbron books to review war forged items and characters again. metal jaws war child, are we going to have ebbron things here also. That is interesting in some ways to me. are you all metal too, your whole body metal ? kind of an unique character I would say Kolbold Ur Priest. |
| Zombomaniac06-08-06, 09:59 PM | Hmmm lets see, :whatsthis @Lady Rolindin Warforged is one word and it does seem kinda weird that the Evil people always want to come into the halls of Good Guilds. @Kobold_Ur_Priest "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Thrice-Forged" Someone have been reading their Bible. "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost." Also I believe Christianity has both "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the . . ." and "His word be known!" patented. :P IC stuff: An elf appears behind the group, a black cloak with ebony claspers hiding his face. I am here on behalf of his majesty, lord Turalisj. The elf says, bowing. He has sent me here to aid this guild in matters of the new war that is coming. Rava glances about wondering who will react first. The warforged glares at the newcomer. "Why must your kind keep breeding?" He smirks, his metal jaws grinding slightly. Rava grins at the prospect of using that for jokes, but desides it would be just to easy. Thasis the Evil grins from the shadows which he has seemingly made his home, "Elves, as much as this guild is despicably full of good ones, have there purpose. Elves themselves I have nothing againsts. Elves of the good alignment? They are simply into existance for us to manipulate to our own uses. Everything is going as I planned. Don't think I've ignored the situation. My direct influence effects all, whether they know it or not" Rava just shakes his head wearily wondering how far fetched one voice can be. War Child turns, facing the shadows. Rave stares blankly at the little man. "Where do these midgets keep coming from?" Rava walks over to the front door, closes it, and when finding there is no lock he just laughs. "That explains much." |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-08-06, 11:00 PM | metal jaws war child, are we going to have ebbron things here also. That is interesting in some ways to me. are you all metal too, your whole body metal ? kind of an unique character I would say Kolbold Ur Priest. yes, im guessing so there is a feat for Warforged called Jaws of Death I believe which actually gives them a bite attack of 1d6+str mod so ill get that eventually and my entire body & that of my mount & Word Bearer (coming soon from Thasis) are all black adamantine and thank you m'lady |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-08-06, 11:02 PM | "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Thrice-Forged" Someone have been reading their Bible. "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost." Also I believe Christianity has both "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the . . ." and "His word be known!" patented. :P I meant, in the name of the War Father, the Son ( War Child ) and the Thrice Forged (the deity concept/guild as a whole) and no, i havent been reading it, i just know the quote |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-08-06, 11:09 PM | Rava stares blankly at the little man. "Where do these midgets keep coming from?" Rava walks over to the front door, closes it, and when finding there is no lock he just laughs. "That explains much." Noticing Rava, War Child's Word Bearer moves to him, its warhammer tucked into its hooded robe. "It is His Word which binds us, His Will which drives us, and His Grace by which we live." With that, it slams the banner's pole into the ground in front of Rava, the bloody banner sweeping slightly across Rava's face. It then steps back and kneels before the penant. Behind the Word Bearer, War Child and his mount trot slowly up to the Vanara, their eyes focused and unblinking. War Child stares at him, his eyes reflecting malicious intent yet cold-hearted determination. Something was coming, and he knew it. |
| Tenzhi06-08-06, 11:50 PM | why do the evil characters like to visite the other guilds so much. That's like asking why fat people visit all-you-can-eat buffets. |
| thasis06-09-06, 01:28 AM | You see, Good people don't enter evil guilds in fear of both taint and retaliation. We seem to be more organized (in most circumstances) and plus the good are completly apalled by our actions. As for the Evil, we go into the other guilds as we fear none, except maybe our own. We don't fear the anti-taint of good as we are so gone to the side of evil that there is no turning back. And we definitly don't fear retaliation, as we are not directly threatening the lives of the good so they don't seem to attack us. And we find the good people humerous and fun to talk to as they are so... odd :P Thasis the Evil finnaly reveals his true form to Rava and the others of the guild, "No, I'm not a figment of your imagination. I simply prefer the darkness. It is my home and the one place in your guilds that I can actualy find myself in comfort. If only I could rip your throat out right now, holding your blood pouring body in my hands, devouring your flesh. Alas, the time is not right, and neither is the place". With that he fades back into the darkness. At this point and time a old man, glowing of angelic radiance slowly and calmy walks into the room. He has a long white beard, a bald head, and a long wooden staff. All reconize him as Thasis the Good, "Hello my brethren. My absence has been long, but the time for me to return has come. Evil is rallying". He then gestures in the direction of Thasis the Evil and War Child, "And it seems as if it is time that good be ressurected. We stand in fear, and as much as it hurts to say, Thasis the Evil has made words of great wisdom. That is why I fear him the most. But fear we must not, rally we must. Good must go under one banner and unite. If the men of evil can do it, we can do it two times more efficiently and productively". Following sightly behind Thasis the Good is another older man. He also has a long white beard, but he wears a well worn green cloak and holds a gnarled old staff. He obviously is well proficient in the wilds, "Mmm... it seems as if the forces of good and evil are rallying there banners, and making idol threats, especialy the evil ones. If only you could see the path of balance is what is needed for this world. Good and Evil cannot exist without one another" |
| Zombomaniac06-09-06, 08:51 AM | Rava pays the little machine man and the Shadowy Thing a passing interest. He focuses his attention on the two Old ones. Interesting he thinks. “Wise words Old ones. I try my hand at good, but quite often am willing to live in my Rivers and Forests leaving the outside world alone, but rarely does the Outside world leave me alone.”Rava then looks back to the two beings of War and Darkness and at their little Flag. He places his hands upon the symbol and lifting it he throws it into the hands of the little machine man. “Leave this place at once.” |
| Lady Rolindin06-09-06, 09:51 AM | Your welcome Kolbold_Ur _Priest. I do find npc's and characters with metal parts interesting, I remeber reading a fr book about a fighter that got part of his right arm cut off, and a gnome priest made him a new arm. That worked by spells so he could control the metal arm. I still pan to borrow or buy the ebbron books, so i can reread about the warforged items, they are interesting. I wounder if character's soul could be put in a metal construct, may be a warforged (good aligment), so they could have natural armor. or have both their arms made of metal and other parts of their body. if i remember right in ebbron the war has ended and the warforged fighters are not really like it too much. they can't go out and fight every day. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-09-06, 11:09 AM | @ Tenzhi: LMAO! That had me rolling for a bit... ------------------------------------------------------------- The Word Bearer grips the banner once more, the pole held aloft in one hand, his warhammer now in the other. "You sad excuse for flesh; you do not know what He wills upon this place, only His enlightened may know....and we will pass His judgement upon this place" With that, War Child, his mount, and the Word Bearer vanish from the Hall, their bodies making almost no sound as the pass. |
| thasis06-09-06, 05:12 PM | Thasis the Good watches the metal creature slowly walk out of the halls. As the metal man walks out Thasis only shakes his head, "Now that that distraction has left, let us get down to buisness". Thasis then sits down on a chair, "My long travels have made me weary. But none-the-less, what must be done must be done. I propose we arise an army..." At that point a loud roaring laughter-like sound emits from the shadows, "The good couldn't rise an army if there life depended on it. You are simply to disorganized to be efficient. Your attempts make me laugh" "Be silent being of darkness. If I can't remove you we can ignore you". He then continues, "As I was saying. I propose we arise an army. An army of men, women, and older youth are willing to join would be taken in, along with the heroes of new and old. Let us reclaim the lands that were once ours, and stop the infernal machinery and black magiks of those who claim the banner of darkness" Thasis the Neutrul simply looks inquisitively as Thasis the Good and Evil talk. He finnaly speaks up, "Why don't you simply divide the lands equaly among eachother". Both Thasis the Good and Thasis the Evil stare at Thasis the Neutral. |
| jagggar06-09-06, 05:35 PM | Both Thasis the Good and Thasis the Evil stare at Thasis the Good. So Thasis the Good stares at himself? :P |
| thasis06-09-06, 05:55 PM | Ooops... fixed that. :P |
| turalisj06-09-06, 09:00 PM | The elf chuckles, then turns to the Evil Thasis, You have no idea how organised we could be if we just got rid of those damned half-elves and the paladins. It's funny because it's true. Paladin1: I say we smite the evil Paladin2: And I say we try and turn them to good as they cut our arms off. |
| thasis06-09-06, 09:16 PM | "I realize that good can be organized in theory, but just like democracy, in practice it doesn't work". Thasis then gives a sinister sort of snarl grin. |
| Zombomaniac06-09-06, 09:36 PM | "That may be, but I have never been one to commit myself to causes that could not be won.” We really should plan for the beginning of the ECL 7. We need to decide what each of our PCs will be and we need to plan how we are going to gain our guild land. |
| turalisj06-09-06, 09:45 PM | Verto- elven monk/rogue Denrik- snow elf wereleopard/psion (snow leopard) |
| Zombomaniac06-09-06, 09:51 PM | Verto- elven monk/rogue Zik(reborn!)- elven sorcerer Denrik- snow elf wereleopard/psion (snow leopard) We only get two PCs. Both ECL 7. I am going with Rava the Blue and a WereBear or Were Cheeta. I just need to deside if I am wanting to spread Lyconthropsy a lot or if I am wanting to just be a pure fighter. |
| turalisj06-09-06, 09:58 PM | Then I guess Zik will stay a ghost.... *elven curses can be heard in background* :D So there are atleast two were-creatures and two psions. |
| jagggar06-09-06, 10:23 PM | Hmmm. . . I have the sudden urge to port on of my NPC-ishes in. . . If I can just remember her name. . . and figure a reason for her to be here. . . I mean, it is more fun to have a little kid you can kidnap, right? :angelhide :schemes:  Oops! I mean :P |
| thasis06-10-06, 12:38 AM | For my ECL7 characters I'm going to have: Jebus the Half-Orc Cleric of Himself who is trying to make a cult of people who believe that he is a diety (I'm not kidding, I'm going to roleplay it seriously) and Tarian the Human Wizard of Vecna and Nerull who's goal is to learn the secrets of death magiks. |
| jagggar06-10-06, 12:57 AM | For ECL 7, I'm gunna have a ton of NPCs. I'll be forgoing a PC for a while if I decide to have one at all. . . Ah, found it. . . Her name be Arlis, and she looks like the stereotypical evil child. Pale, long black hair. :D jagggar appears leaning against a wall. "Introduce yourself, Arlis." A pale girl with long black hair who appeared at the same time as jagggar stares at her as though she'd seen the living-dead. She backs up several steps right into Rava. She looks as though she could not be past her tenth winter or so. |
| thasis06-10-06, 02:25 AM | Mmm... goth girl type... I like... my characters might hit on her though ;) :P |
| jagggar06-10-06, 09:51 AM | Hit on her? But she's-- Ah yes, I knew I forgot something in her description. . . She looks as though she could not be past her tenth summer or so. Or is age measured in winters? I don't really read enough to know. |
| Zombomaniac06-10-06, 02:45 PM | Hit on her? But she's-- Ah yes, I knew I forgot something in her description. . . She looks as though she could not be past her tenth summer or so. Or is age measured in winters? I don't really read enough to know. Ten winters and ten Summers would still be just ten years, but yes it is Winters. It is a lot harder to survive winters then summers. |
| Zombomaniac06-10-06, 03:27 PM | jagggar appears leaning against a wall. "Introduce yourself, Arlis." A pale girl with long black hair who appeared at the same time as jagggar stares at her as though she'd seen the living-dead. She backs up several steps right into Rava. She looks as though she could not be past her tenth winter or so. Rava balances himself after Arlis bumps into him. He turns her around and neels down to be face to face with her, placing his staff on the ground as he neels. "Well look at you. A regular spirit in the flesh. So tell me why are you so startled little Spirit?" |
| Zombomaniac06-10-06, 03:40 PM | Jebus the Half-Orc Cleric of Himself who is trying to make a cult of people who believe that he is a diety (I'm not kidding, I'm going to roleplay it seriously) Inevitables will be hunting you. The ones that deal with prolonging life we hunt you first and if you get to close to divinity the ones that stop people from becoming Gods will hunt you. Also I might hunt you. Not sure why I just have the urge to. :P And do you know what I just realized? I tripled posted. I don't see how I didn't see that coming. :embarrass |
| thasis06-10-06, 04:32 PM | Meh, I'll be farily discreat about it (IG atleast). People will think I'm more crazy then true anywayz :P |
| Tenzhi06-10-06, 05:06 PM | Hit on her? But she's-- Ah yes, I knew I forgot something in her description. . . She looks as though she could not be past her tenth summer or so. A few seasons yet to go before reaching delectability. Were the Elf-Bane in a rare lecherous mood, he still might pull a Happosai, however. Deific levels of Sleight of Hand mean you might be able to steal them unnoticed while they're being worn. :dragon: |
| thasis06-10-06, 05:08 PM | Mmm... defic slight of hand aye *ponders* :P |
| Dyne06-10-06, 05:21 PM | It is a lot harder to survive winters then summers. Not where I live. But then again, we don't really have seasons. We just have Warm, Hot, and "OH MY GOD I'M GONNA DIE!!!" Hot. |
| Zombomaniac06-10-06, 05:22 PM | Not where I live. But then again, we don't really have seasons. We just have Warm, Hot, and "OH MY GOD I'M GONNA DIE!!!" Hot. Ok, ok. In most Fantasy settings it is a lot harder to survive winters then summers. |
| Tenzhi06-10-06, 05:32 PM | Ok, ok. In most Fantasy settings it is a lot harder to survive winters then summers. Unless you're an elf. In which case you're so caught up in appearing "perfect" that you can ignore seasonal discomforts. |
| Tenzhi06-10-06, 05:34 PM | Incidentally, youth is measured in summers, and old age is measured in winters. It's a matter of perspective and temperament. |
| jagggar06-10-06, 05:54 PM | Okay, fine, ten season cycles. Or does that turn into two and a half years? And Tenzhi eats humans as well as elves? The girl fixes her eyes on the blue monkey's mouth. She taps herself twice on the chest, points to her eyes, then to jagggar, then drags her forefinger across her neck. |
| turalisj06-10-06, 06:10 PM | Verto laughed to himself, Seems the little girl wants you dead. He pulled out a longsword and began cleaning it, going over the adamantine pommel and the silver blade carefully. |
| thasis06-10-06, 09:39 PM | A deep thoughtful quiet growl comes from the darkness, "You could be a great acomplice to my guild little girl. I would suggest checking it out when you have some time". |
| jagggar06-10-06, 09:54 PM | jagggar stifles a laugh with her hand. "What makes you so sure?" she asks without moving her hand. Arlis seemingly ignores the two, continuing to gaze at the blue monkey. |
| thasis06-10-06, 09:57 PM | Thasis gives a deep hearty laughter, "I have my feeling you would benifit from my guild and allies as well. But you are to stubborn minded". Thasis the Good frowns, "Be quite Thasis the Evil, you have no place in disturbing the members of this council, especialy children. Corrupting children is low, even for you". |
| Tenzhi06-11-06, 12:58 AM | And Tenzhi eats humans as well as elves? Occasionally, but methinks you missed the term "lecherous" and are unfamiliar with the Happosai (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happosai) reference. |
| jagggar06-11-06, 01:23 AM | Ah, yes. . . I'm quite out of it due to the topics being discussed in other threads, so yeah. . . |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-11-06, 09:41 AM | Thasis, what do you think I should do for my second PC? also, I cant wait to see how Jebus turns out...... On a second notion: Half-orcs get a racial proficiency with the Double Axe dont they? i may be mistaken.... hmmm, maybe a half-orc would be interesting...... |
| Zombomaniac06-11-06, 09:50 AM | Okay, fine, ten season cycles. Or does that turn into two and a half years? And Tenzhi eats humans as well as elves? The girl fixes her eyes on the blue monkey's mouth. She taps herself twice on the chest, points to her eyes, then to jagggar, then drags her forefinger across her neck. :raincloud It just had to be charades. I suck at charades. Rava stares at the little one and wonders what she I trying to tell him. “Hmm . . . Well you obviously can’t talk; you can see things others can’t? Your strange sight or your voice is somehow connected to Jagggar? If you do something bad Jagggar will kill you?” Rava scratches his head and wonders just what the story with this little Spirit is. |
| jagggar06-11-06, 01:25 PM | you can see things others can’t?She shakes her head 'no.'Your strange sight or your voice is somehow connected to Jagggar? She begins shaking her head, then pauses. It was something she'd never really considered before. "Kill her? I wouldn't come near her with a 10-foot scarficial pole. But the likes of him might," she says motioning to Thasis the Evil, "and that's oen reason I'm not foolish enough to toss in my lot with those who shout 'Smite Me!'" "Let's try it this way." jagggar stomps on the ground, drawing Arlis' attention, then points to the girl, "Arlis," to her eyes, "saw," taps her chest, "jagggar," and drew her finger across her neck, "die." Arlis nods. "Besides that," jagggar points at Arlis, tugs her ear and then shakes her head. "'Arlis hears not.' So I don't think she heard your offer, Evil one." |
| thasis06-11-06, 03:39 PM | "Mmm... I shall have to find another way of communication. She will benifit me in the future, as will you, as will you". Thasis then starts to slink deeper into the shadows so nothing of him is visable, "Oh, and I do not have plans to kill the girl, or you, at this point and time atleast. Both of you are to useful". With that you get the sense that he is giving one of his sinister smiles. "Why must you persist to distress those around you Thasis. I guess it's your nature. But I will say it again. Be gone". Thasis the Good then turns to the little girl, "How is it you know this girl Jaggar? And what do you know of her... nature" |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-11-06, 04:04 PM | An fiendish looking elf, young by their standards, enters the hall. His tall, well-built frame is hidden beneath a large cloak, though beneath it you can make out a form-fitting suit of leather armor and a hint of bat-like wings. A heavy flail hangs by his side, its head shaped like a screaming devil. His right arm is bound by a gruesome looking spiked chain which seems to sprout from his flesh itself. "My name, or atleast that which you shall call me by, is Bishop." He turns to the young girl, giving her a slight nod of aknowledgement, as if the pair had history between them, then turns, walking away from the crowd and into the shadows. |
| thasis06-11-06, 04:31 PM | You hear a deep roar from the shadows, "If you come close to me I will rip you limb from limb. This is my dwelling place, and I suggest you dare not interupt my place of dwelling". He then chuckles, "My name is Thasis by the way. It is a pleaure to meet a man of fiendish heritage. Not many seem to dwell around here very often". With that he puts a very large claw on your shoulder. It seems to clench down on your armor and cause some amounts of uncomfortable pain, "Now I suggest leaving my shadows". He then lets go of Bishop's armor. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-11-06, 05:11 PM | Bishop lets out a low, gutteral growl at the fiend's grasp on his shoulder. Then, he laughs; and his right hand snakes upward, glowing with unholy energy; the attached spiked chain digging into the fiend's hand as he removes it from his shoulder. "Hmmm, well-met dark one......I see the two of us shall be but mere....shadows within these walls......." Laughing again, he releases his grip, and the light fades. he grabs the edge of his cloak and steps from the shadows, crossing the room and sinking into the darkness once more. |
| thasis06-11-06, 05:36 PM | "You are both a foolish one and a smart one. This you shall remember, if you ever touch me again I will not be so mercyful upon your soul. I will destroy your body, mind, and soul, in the most agonizing way that you could ever imagine. It could even make the most dreaded of the Skygge cringe. But I don't think you will be so foolish as to attempt such a foolish act again. And for that I respect your wisdom". With that he lets out a low growl and grins once again. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-11-06, 06:08 PM | Laughter resonates from the opposing darkness. "Killling me would only make me stronger......" The sound of metal grating on stone can be heard, and small sparks spray from the shadows; Bishop's chain whirls outward, shredding chunks of stone from the walls. |
| turalisj06-11-06, 07:23 PM | Verto snapped up and put away the long sword. He did a front flip towards Bishop, landing with his sword out and aimed at the creatures neck. I would suggest taking your leave corrupted one. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-11-06, 07:40 PM | A black, unholy looking spiked chain sprays from the darkness, wrapping itself around the short sword. Moments later, a pair of eyes seem to form from the shadows themselves. Behind them, Bishop's body emerges, shimmering with Arcane force. "And I suggest, that you remove your blade from my vicinity before you find it pommel-deep in your stomach." The chain uncoils itself from the minuscule blade before recoiling around Bishop's arm. A split second after the chain repositions itself, a heavy mace swishes through the air, resting inches from Verto's face. |
| thasis06-11-06, 08:00 PM | "STOP THE FIGHTING! Both of you", pointing at Thasis the Evil, "Disgrace the halls of this fine establishment. LEAVE NOW! You are testing my patience". Thasis then attempts to recover from his rage and shaking body. "Old man, you think to much of great peace. It will never be as long as you men of good continue to interfere in our activities. I've been sitting here, watching this thing, neither I nor Bishop have actualy assualted any men who have not assualted us". He then grins, "Do you deny this?" |
| turalisj06-11-06, 08:08 PM | Verto turned towards the Thasi/Thasis (it never was cleared up on what the multiple form of your characters is). His eyes glowed blue and he spoke, his voice sounding like a mixture between his and an old old old elf... You have not changed one bit good one. What he is doing, he is doing under my orders. If you feel the need to argue with it, then be my guest at trying to stop me. Your evil side and you both know how much of a coward you are. His eyes stopped glowing. He slowly put away his sword, and dashed off towards the monastary that he lived in. Like Thasis the Good would ever attempt to harm a good aligned being :D It's not in his morale code. |
| thasis06-11-06, 08:21 PM | Thasis the Evil let of a deep growly laughter at the comments of Verto, "Old man, you've been dissed". Thasis the Good stands there in disbelief. He then shakes his head, "Youth... I must learn to ignore the words of the foolish" |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-11-06, 08:40 PM | "Old man, you think to much of great peace. It will never be as long as you men of good continue to interfere in our activities. I've been sitting here, watching this thing, neither I nor Bishop have actualy assualted any men who have not assualted us". He then grins, "Do you deny this?" A flicker movement and a brief flash of Arcane energy notes Bishops agreement, and then all is silent and unmoving within the dark. |
| jagggar06-11-06, 08:53 PM | jagggar replaces the hand over her mouth. "Well, if you're finished fighting for the moment. . . I'm sure you've heard of weapons or other items which trap souls?" she looks at Arlis again. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-11-06, 09:05 PM | Bishop watches, ever silent from the shadows....waiting for Arlis to speak. (Jaggar would you mind PMing me, I have a little idea I would like to discuss with you) |
| turalisj06-11-06, 09:28 PM | Thasis the Evil let of a deep growly laughter at the comments of Verto, "Old man, you've been dissed". Thasis the Good stands there in disbelief. He then shakes his head, "Youth... I must learn to ignore the words of the foolish" Zik appeared infront of Thasis the Good. Tsk tsk. You should learn by now not to call those wiser than you foolish. Only a fool stands by while evil corrupts those who could become allies. It seems that, along with your rage, anger, and cruelty, Thasis the Evil also has all of the agression and penchent for action that would have been usefull for the side of good. If you refuse to take any action, then you might as well leave this world and let those who would use the great power you have for the use of good. With that, Zik floated through Bishop, tossing up a balloon filled with contact poison behind him. Laughing to himself, he left the halls. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-11-06, 09:32 PM | technically-im voiding that since there has yet to be any actual physical contact involved in the arguements; so there's no balloon filled with poison, sorry. and you're not involved in this conflict as it is. anyways. |
| thasis06-11-06, 11:00 PM | "Anger? Yes, I am angry at my inability to destroy Thasis the Evil at this exact momment and time. Let my anger control me? No, I did snap at him, but I do not let my anger control my general actions. Cruelty? Since when have I ever been cruel to any being? If I was cruel I would have destroyed you all right now for even attempting to call me foolish and wrathful. No, I am here only on the benifit for the forces of good. If I could kill Thasis the Evil I could, but at this point and time there is a time of peace. And to break a time of peace would be a directly negatively influencing act. I rather him be in existance, but the lands stay peaceful. So who is the fool? The man who benifits the land or the man who simply wants someone of opposed alignment dead? As to Thasis being a benifit to the forces of good? Yes, he could. But he is cruel, malicious, scheming, and would manipulate you all to his own deviant purposes. Never trust such a being. I know him better then all here, as I am him to some extent, as he is me to some extent. So do not call me foolish, for I am reserved. As Thasis does, I scheme, but I do it in a much more benificial mean. Do not think because I do not act now that I do not act". Thasis the Evil laughs at the whole situation, "Foolish ones, you stand around bickering unable to raise a fist toward me or any of my kind, while we stand in the darkness, reserved, and able to strike at any point and time. It's funny how us, the ones of evil can organize ourselves then the supposed ones of good". |
| jagggar06-11-06, 11:46 PM | "Or if no one really cares about her, you can all just ignore me. . ." jagggar says. |
| thasis06-11-06, 11:52 PM | Thasis the Evil steps out of the shadows, "Oh I care about the little darling. You still havn't answered Thasis the Goods question, which was very similiar to mine. I will repeat it however, what is your connection with the girl?" |
| jagggar06-12-06, 12:04 AM | "My connection with her? Nun-ya." "I will say though, that one of my rivals was quite interested in her." jagggar furrowed her brow. "Eww. . . I hope she hasn't noticed she's missing yet. . ." |
| thasis06-12-06, 12:21 AM | "Mmm... by rivals do you mean me?". With that Thasis laughs. He then strokes the young girls head as if she were an animal. He then loosely holds her shoulder and looks in her eyes. He points to her, "Me" and then to himself, "You" and then to the Guild of Ultimate Evil, "Go to There". He then immitates shaking hands, "And ally". Then he waves his hands, "power for both". |
| jagggar06-12-06, 12:51 AM | "Sorry, you're not the one she saw kill me. And I don't think you're a 'she' anyway." Arlis shudders at his touch, whimpering and recoiling into Rava. But then she relaxes and she seems not to be looking at the Evil as he signs to her but past him, or perhaps through him. I kinda think it wouldn't be bad to pause so Zombo can get a post with Rava in. |
| Zombomaniac06-12-06, 01:55 AM | As everyone talks and argues Rava simply stares at the puzzle in front of him, scratching his head and chin and looking in a few of his blue pockets. He sees little pieces of this puzzle coming together, but still so many pieces missing and some just not fitting with the others. He then looks over to Bishop. “I’ll talk to you after all this,” He then looks to Thasis the Evil. “Evil, Shut up,” Then to Thasis the Good. “Good, Shut up please,” His gaze lowers to Vertro. “You’re short,” Looks back up to Jagggar. “You’re tall,” And finally back to Arlis. “And you’re confusing,” He makes no hand mosions to confer these usless bits of information to her and after which he pulls Arlis a ways away from Evil and brings her into a patch of bright sunlight, picking up his staff as he goes. When he reaches the light he pulls seven small, stark white, animal skulls out of his pocket and places them in a circle around he and his little puzzle. He pauses to let things order thenselves in is mind. “Can’t hear, can’t talk, connected to Tall Lady, don’t like Evil, and sees Tall Lady die.” He stops and begins scratching his head and then looks to “Tall Lady.” “’ items which trap souls,’” He looks back to Arlis and speaks, but to Jagggar not Arlis. “She can trap souls? She has your soul? Or is she your soul? Or mabye its all of these, or non of them, and mabye she's your daughter.” For the record the animal skulls dont do anything it's just a habit Rava formed as a child. You could ask if you felt like it, he nor I care. Also I am surprised no one just started calling the Thasisses by their alighnment. Thasis the Evil/Good/Neutral is a lot more typeing then just Evil/Good/Neutral. In introductions it would have to be the full name, but after that who cares. :) |
| turalisj06-12-06, 02:33 AM | Was going to put something, but decided agaist it for the safety of my characters. |
| Zombomaniac06-12-06, 03:07 AM | Was going to put something, but decided agaist it for the safety of my characters. And I should care why? ;) :P Do as you like. I'm gonna go back to reading my book at 2 in the morning. Best time to do it. :D |
| jagggar06-12-06, 04:39 AM | Actually, I think I did refer to TtE as "Evil one". . . jagggar spewed half a glass of stolen Pride from her nose and mouth. "Oh hells that hurts!" "I don't make kiddies. If I have to, I'll steal your child and raise it to kill you, but I don't make my own. But she did just about have my soul, Probably why she's so suprised to see me. Makes it damn hard to come back." Arlis' blank gaze falls to one of the skulls and she reaches out to touch it. She blinks several times, then looks about realizing she wasn't where she started out. "Mmnm. . ." |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-12-06, 10:02 AM | Bishop nods to Rava, a flicker of energy coursing through his eyes as he raises his eyes back to the face of the Vanara. He pulls back the right sleeve of his robe, exposing the armor beneath; something looked very wrong. (Bishop is the son of a Chain Devil Lord (Adv.Paragon Kython) and a female elf Knight of The Chalice - PrC which focuses on banning fiends) His chain comes from inside his body, and is always wrapped around his right arm, where it is bound internally. His heavy mace, which is shaped like a screaming devil, is the face of a Pit Fiend, the one who killed his mother, and the one who his father still tortures within his infernal dungeon to this day. "Rava, what is it that you want, Blue one...?" Bishop pulls his sleeve back over his arm, then settles himself back against a pillar, still enshrouded in shadows. |
| turalisj06-12-06, 12:05 PM | And I should care why? ;) :P Do as you like. I'm gonna go back to reading my book at 2 in the morning. Best time to do it. :D Wasn't about you, it was about jaggar.... >.> (Bishop is the son of a Chain Devil Lord (Adv.Paragon Kython) and a female elf Knight of The Chalice - PrC which focuses on banning fiends) His chain comes from inside his body, and in always wrapped around his right arm, where it is bound internally. His heavy mace, which is shaped like a screaming devil, is the face of a Pit Fiend, the one who killed him mother, and the one who his father still tortures within his infernal dungeon to this day. Um, so? Is that affordable for a 7th level PC? Is that even possible? It doesn't realy sound reasonable for a 7th level PC to have a chain coming from his body (although it WOULD make for a great PrC or even feat) |
| jagggar06-12-06, 12:56 PM | I wasn't gunna hurt anybody. . . *hides shotgun* :D |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-12-06, 01:39 PM | Um, so? Is that affordable for a 7th level PC? Is that even possible? It doesn't realy sound reasonable for a 7th level PC to have a chain coming from his body (although it WOULD make for a great PrC or even feat) all i did was make the chain PART of him, you know, like the Dark Prince from Prince of Persia |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-12-06, 01:53 PM | Bishop steps behind Arlis, still concealed in the shadows. His glowing eyes are all that are visible at the moment, their pupils pulsing with Arcane energy. Slowly, a snaking trail of the energy winds its way from his right shoulder to the tip of his hand, which cradles the end of his chain. "I know you cannot hear me, young one..but though I am evil, I mean you no harm.....I was one of the elite guards in the Bane's temple.....I knew your father well.." |
| Zombomaniac06-12-06, 04:20 PM | Um, so? Is that affordable for a 7th level PC? Is that even possible? It doesn't realy sound reasonable for a 7th level PC to have a chain coming from his body (although it WOULD make for a great PrC or even feat) Of everything I know it isn't possible, but I have always felt the the Half-Fiend template was flawed. I mean think about it. Any type of Demon or Devil has a kid with a non-demon/devil and it is a Half-Fiend. Had a Balor for a Dad? You're a Half-Fiend. Had a Pitfiend for a Dad? You're a Half-Fiend. Had a Succubus for a Mom? You're a Half-Fiend. And all those Half-Fiends are all the same. I support what Kolbold is doing right now with the Elf (Race wise. I don't know what he is doing RP wise). In all the FF books a Half-Succubus would have lesser versions of Succubus abilities (See War of the Spider Queen). A Half-Devil of whatever breed would be the same (See Forsaken House). I wasn't gunna hurt anybody. . . *hides shotgun* Isn't that Crowley's Shotgun? ;) IC: Rava smilies as Arlis wonders over the animal skull and her location. When Bishop asks him of what he wishes to speak of the Blue Monkey puts up his Index Finger making the symbol meaning later and when the Chain Bred speaks to Arlis he waits to see how they will react to eachother. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-12-06, 04:29 PM | ok, listen, all i did was take his spiked chain and make it so it came from in his arm, and it's only 1 handed, rather than 2...its still the same, no enhancements or special feats..nothing..just an unusual way of wielding it. Bishop nods at Rava's signal, then turns back to Arlis, waiting. there ARE Devil Bound & Demon Possessed Templates in the Advanced Bestiary from D20 Publishing. though i have not used either in the creation of this character |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-12-06, 04:32 PM | basically i took the idea from: God of War & Prince of Persia 2 like i said, nothing special, just unusual |
| jagggar06-12-06, 05:06 PM | Okay, I'm kinda lost where everyone is realitive to everyone else. If Bishop is behind Arlis when he speaks, then she's probably not aware of him. . . Think I might also need to send another PM getting a bit more detailed so we have things straight. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-12-06, 05:17 PM | he WAS in front of her when he spoke, then returned to the shadows behind her so, just PM me and let me know whats goin on |
| thasis06-12-06, 06:25 PM | I'm confused on how people know so much about this girls history and I don't. I'm assuming PM's and the such... |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-12-06, 06:41 PM | As far as I know, just Me. Which, by the way im still waiting on the rest of the info (and the first part again, seeing as i accidentally erased it) |
| jagggar06-12-06, 06:59 PM | I know too! Yeah, I've kinda been napping today. I'm workin' on it, and I'll send you the earlier thing as well. I think I might post the family relations on the CCC later. It was the Bishop steps behind Arlis, still concealed in the shadows. part that made me think it sounded like he was behind her when he spoke. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-12-06, 10:17 PM | I know too! Yeah, I've kinda been napping today. I'm workin' on it, and I'll send you the earlier thing as well. I think I might post the family relations on the CCC later. It was the part that made me think it sounded like he was behind her when he spoke. yeah..basically, he moved around a lot, lol anyways....as soon as we get an IG response, ill post a bit more |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-13-06, 11:30 AM | Bishop steps in front of Arlis again, his eyes starting to glow with the familiar arcane energy as he speaks. "As I was saying young one, I was a good friend of your father, and I know of the incident with your mother. When your father went away, I was charged to watch over you, and I have been doing so from the shadows for many years now. |
| jagggar06-13-06, 01:58 PM | Arlis raises a quizzical eyebrow as he speaks. After a moment, she raises her hand with her thumb and little finger out, the other three folded down. Sorry, getting kinda distracted by something else at the moment. And yes, that is finger-spelling "y" |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-13-06, 02:07 PM | no prob Jaggar, I have my own creative spark flaring up, so Im good to go :D Bishop drops to one knee, and from beneath his cloak he draws out a small parcel wrapped in oiled cloth. He opens it slowly, producing a necklace which sports the well known symbol of a High Priest of Bane. He holds it up to her, his eyes lowering in rememberance. "I promised you father, on his death bed that I would take care of you, and it was his wish that I give you his medallion so that you may have something to remember him by." Standing, Bishop holds a hand to the child's cheek, smiling and nodding slightly, then once more resumes his post in the blackness. |
| thasis06-13-06, 08:21 PM | A deep quiet inquisitive sounding growling resonates from the darkness from which Thasis the Evil resides, "Thinks just seem to get more and more intressting. Oh, I havn't left yet... just... waiting". Thasis the Good cocks an eyebrow and simply stays quiet, waiting for the young ones response. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-13-06, 10:12 PM | Bishop rests against a pillar, concealed in shadows, waiting. |
| jagggar06-13-06, 10:35 PM | eh, minor detals. . . She reaches out after a moment and takes the necklace and traces her fingers over the surface. She looks back up at Bishop, but her face betrays little. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-13-06, 10:47 PM | details? Bishop watches the child, as he steps back out of the darkened area;waiting for her reaction. |
| Skull_of_Shadow06-14-06, 12:43 AM | A pair of large, glowing yellow eyes appear in the nearby shadows. Following them is a fang filled mouth of sharp teeth, grinning maliciously. A deep voice rolls forth from the darkness around the eyes as the mouth vanishes yet again. "Ah, more elven scum. Well little swine, it is only safe to warn you... newcomers... that any elven blooded creatures are to be destroyed. So be very careful little beasts. We are the skygge... we are the darkness that walks, the shadows that devour your pathetic souls. Be afraid little elves... we are the darkness that lurks behind everything, the beast withing your head, in your closet, beneath your bed. Be afraid..." With that the eyes vanish, leaving merely the shadows that had been there before. |
| Zombomaniac06-14-06, 12:54 AM | Rava stares at the, now normal, shadows and the looks to TTE. "He a friend of your's, Voice?" Rava motions to the shadows. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-14-06, 01:04 AM | Bishop's ears perk at the sound of the Skygge's voice; he steps next to Arlis, drawing his wings around her to protect her, and raising his chain-bound hand at the same time, Arcane energy coursing along the chain, leaving a snake-like trail of energy along his arm, coiling and intertwining itself among the links of chain. "Ah, a Skygge.....I havent seen your kind much lately....I'd come to think most of you were in hiding....besides Thasis the Evil that is." |
| Tenzhi06-14-06, 01:12 AM | The Skygge suddenly lose all of their intimidation factor due to allusions to Metallica. :P |
| Skull_of_Shadow06-14-06, 01:16 AM | A voice echoes from no particular place in the shadows of the room. An amused little chuckle preceding the words that roll deeply throughout the room. "Hiding? We do not hide little swine. I suggest you put that arm away, lest you wish to lose it. Do not bother replying with some threat of your own, between the two of us, it is my people's power that is known. So put it away, before I slice it from your body and use it to beat you into unconciousness. Then well... if I say any more, I'll give away the best part." The shadows clear their throat as the sound of clacking claws echo around the room. "Now... where was I?" The Skygge suddenly lose all of their intimidation factor due to allusions to Metallica. :P I have no idea what you are talking about. But I'm allowed to add some sort of comicness now and then :P |
| thasis06-14-06, 01:55 AM | Thasis the Evil growls, "Hello brother. It has been some time since I've seen skygge other then me around. I hope that I've been running things to the skygges expectations. It's been a while since I've reported to Dromkar" Like I said before, nice to see you back. |
| turalisj06-14-06, 03:54 AM | A pair of large, glowing yellow eyes appear in the nearby shadows. Zik appeared infront of the skygge, a bored look on his face. Yet within the deepest darkness, the brightest of lights will be there waiting to be released. Even those who are corrupt and born of evil can become the greatest source of good. It is a cycle that repears throughout history, one you cannot stop by any means. With that said, he vanished. Thasis the Evil growls, "Hello brother. It has been some time since I've seen skygge other then me around. I hope that I've been running things to the skygges expectations. It's been a while since I've reported to Dromkar" Like I said before, nice to see you back. Wait, who is back? You mean the one that must not be named? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-14-06, 12:58 PM | Bishop grins, his chain & arm's energy fade, the winding Arcane trail disappearing. "And you wonder why I like Skygge....their minds are so much like my own....." He looks to the darkened corner where the newcomer resides, still grinning his needle point smile. He releases his wings from around Arlis, and stands beside her, waiting. |
| thasis06-14-06, 11:45 PM | "No, you believe yours is much like ours. What you don't realize is that we have intellectual strength that you will never posses. We are the deepest darkest point of evil that makes even the cruelest flinch... if we choose to show that side. If evil had a pure face it would be us". Thasis then turns to Zik, "And to you foolish one, what you don't realize is the darkness within us is inbred. Even if we had a tinge of taint of light, nothing short of great mind enchanting spells could ever change our nature. We are evil as evil gets. Changing us would be... difficult". |
| jagggar06-15-06, 12:08 AM | Arlis looks up at the half-fiend as he draws his wings around her. She sighs as he seems to speak to a voice unseen by her. She glances at Rava, for some sort of hint perhaps, as Bishop releases her from his protective wings. jagggar slids slowly down the wall she was leaning against with a stiffled laughter. The closer she nears the floor, the less restraint she can muster until she at last is buckled over on the floor, pounding it with her fist. "Pure. . . evil. . . HA!" |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 12:15 AM | Bishop rests against the pillar next to Arlis, his faintly glowing eyes roaming to Rava, as he too awaits his reply. |
| thasis06-15-06, 12:37 AM | "Do you doubt the fact that I am evil by your pathetic moral standards of alignment? If I was to be classified in such a small alignment system then I would be considered of the prime evil. That is simply the essence of what I am" |
| Zombomaniac06-15-06, 12:42 AM | As everyone starts looking to Rava you see that some where along the line he fell asleep, looking to have fallen into sluber while standing. He leans forward and wakes with a start. "Ugg, and I was having the best dream to. It was the one about the harem of Vanara Women." He sees that multiple eyes rest upon him. "What, did I miss something?" Rava shrugs, seeing Arlis looking at him he makes a few motions and hopes she realizes they mean "People can be wierd." |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 12:49 AM | Bishop laughs at the ongoing arguement. "If we are to concern ourselve with the incarnations of one's alignment, then we are no better than those we seek to oppose; Be you chaotic, lawful, or hold a neutral viewpoint, you are evil at heart- there is no doubt of that." He moves next to Arlis, relinquishing his shadowy concealment. Kneeling, he then takes a meditative sitting position next to the girl, his wings enshrouding his body. "And if you continue to fued among those who seek naught but to further a cause similar to your own, then you may want to reconsider your stay here, for you will bring nothing but retaliation upon yourself." From within the folds of his robes, he produces a dark blue orchid, which he hands to Arlis before resuming his meditative stance; calmly he lapses into a state of mental relaxation. |
| turalisj06-15-06, 01:25 AM | "No, you believe yours is much like ours. What you don't realize is that we have intellectual strength that you will never posses. Even if we had a tinge of taint of light, nothing short of great mind enchanting spells could ever change our nature. We are evil as evil gets. Changing us would be... difficult". Which is what I have been busy doing all this time? I am not going into detail, but you can be assured that the light will have a powerful ally on thier side when I am done. Zik said, He cackled as he melted into the floor and disappearing from sight. Since when did the elven alliance become the alliance of evil? |
| Tenzhi06-15-06, 01:50 AM | Evil and elvish are almost the same word. Elvish? Sh... evil. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 01:51 AM | Im not evem going to begin to comment on Zik.... Bishop's eyelids seem to flutter while in his state of mind, brief flickers of Arcane light seep from beneath their surfaces. |
| Zombomaniac06-15-06, 01:59 AM | Since when did the elven alliance become the alliance of evil? lol :D It isn't, though Bishop seems to be the exepsion so far, but as a smart person I am keeping my eye on him. :shifty: There are a lot of Evil people here because they feel like threatening us and I got rid of one of them, but more keep showing up. I even had Rava lock the front door for God's sake! I might have to do another "Pis*** off Rava" Post pretty soon and this time direct it to all evil (expect mabye Bishop). |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 02:03 AM | :D Yay! Im excluded. Patiently awaiting Arlis' remarks, Bishop rests; his mind going once more to a place of solice as he drifts in and out of conciousness. |
| Zombomaniac06-15-06, 02:21 AM | :D Yay! Im excluded. For now you are. Bishop is unquestionably evil, but he seems to be more of a Empirer Palpatine. :rolleye2: "I will kill every last one of you to enshur the peace of our people" kinda thing. :looloo: From what I can tell you basicly have the well being of choose people, Arlis being the most important it seems, as the for most in your mind, but those who threaten the "important people" will die a painful death. I'll be honest with you. If I am guessing his character design right then he will likely be one of my favorite evil characters around. This design has always been a favorite. Anyone who looks at you knows your evil, but once they know your goals, and the reasons, they realize that you are, in a confussing and Evil-esk way, Good. It can shake a person pretty big if used properly. :evillaugh |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 02:29 AM | Exactly. Bishop rests; to those around him, it's unknown whether he is actually asleep or merely feigning it. Basically if anyone touches Arlis, Bishop will rend their head from their shoulders. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 02:32 AM | I'll be honest with you. :evillaugh Mmm, Thanks Z. You seem to know exactly my point of view. This may yet unfold into something none of you expect. |
| Zombomaniac06-15-06, 02:40 AM | Mmm, Thanks Z. N.P. You seem to know exactly my point of view. Seeing it from the other's eyes is a specialty of mine. Though telling people how each person sees it is normaly pretty hard. This may yet unfold into something none of you expect. Like you and Thais told me when I made CDL "If it was expected it would be boring." |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 02:46 AM | Like you and Thasis told me when I made CDL "If it was expected it would be boring." So, so true. An eerie calm seems to radiate from Bishop, as well as an aura of Arcane energy. |
| Zombomaniac06-15-06, 02:57 AM | So, so true. Yeah, personaly I like to see it right before it happens. That way I might be able to save myself and afterward I can go "I saw that coming." An eerie calm seems to radiate from Bishop, as well as an aura of Arcane energy. Rava walks over to Bishop, picking up his staff as he goes. The animal skull rattle as he walks and Rava stops to yawn multiple times. When he reaches Bishop he lets out a yawn longer and more profound then any of those before it and then leans over, easily within the length of his staff. "What cha' doing?" Rava begins poking Bishop with the animal skull side of his staff, the skulls clunking together as he repeatably attackes the Fiend with his poking and questions. "Wake up Evil Spirit." |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 03:07 AM | With unpercievable reflexes, Bishop's chain is launched forth from his outstreched hand, cocooning Rava's staff. Bishop's eyes flare open, Arcane light pulsing forth as he hauls himself to his feet, using the chain as leverage. "Blue, I strongly suggest you remove yourself from my vicinity, for I am not one to be trifled with, especially now. So speak of what you wanted or remove yourself as I mentioned. If you do not, you shall soon find that I am not as docile as I may appear!" He releases his grip on the chain, letting it fall from the staff, and he recoils it on his arm. Moments later, the Arcane energy fades and he shakes away the anger, once again steadying himself and resuming his post next to Arlis. |
| Zombomaniac06-15-06, 03:27 AM | Rava inspecks hi staff after Bishop releases it. "No damage. Good." He then turns his attention back to the Elf. "Well, well, aren't you the angry little ghost. Just came over to ask you why you came here to begin with. Is that so wrong?" |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 03:35 AM | Bishop smirks, laughing slightly; his motions reverting to his meditative stance again. "You've tested my patience this long to ask me something so trivial?" "I came here for her; as you already know." "I was charged to guard her, and so I shall." He motions to Arlis as he speaks, then closes his eyes again, content in his answer; he settles back into rest. What's Rava's stats again? The way he speaks he seems to be a Spirit Shaman... |
| Zombomaniac06-15-06, 03:41 AM | Rava smirks at Bishop's answer. One question, one answer, and so many more questions after this. Mabye he doesn't even know them all. Should be fun to watch thought Rava. He walks away after this returning to sit in the sunlight. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 03:53 AM | Bishop's whispered reply is barely audible as he sighs deeply, seeming to slip deeper into his trance-like slumber. "Blue, you try my patience with your riddles. Speak your mind or remove yourself from my sight." He inhales another breath, slowly whispering its way through his lungs & he drops his head slightly. Also- see bottom of above post. |
| Zombomaniac06-15-06, 04:14 AM | Rava simply stays in his spot in the light seemingly asleep once more and alone with his thoughts as he has been. As a Vanara he has no LA or anything so I am thinking either full Blue Mage (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=137596) or Full Shaman (is the one in CD the updated version of the one from OA? [EDIT] I just looked at the two and they are not alike at all really. I'll have to decide what I want to do and mabye PM Jagggar depending on what I decide). Also I never told his stats in the first place. :P And for the record the "One question" thing was a thought. Never said, so unless you have a read thoughts spell active you wouldn't know he thought those things. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 12:15 PM | I wasnt responding to the "One Question" thing; I was replying to the question about why he came here, then stating basically that Rava was getting on his nerves by asking such a question. Bishop's eyes begin to flutter again, seemingly in a sense of dream as he slumbers. And, Thasis, I think you'll like Hellshadow.....I plan on having War Child go "dormant" for a while or have him become an NPC @ the FM, so I can bring Hellshadow into the game w/ Bishop. (Hellshadow = Skygge Grunt) |
| jagggar06-15-06, 01:39 PM | Man, all I need to do to get you guys to post is to go to bed early. ...or Full Shaman (is the one in CD the updated version of the one from OA? [EDIT] I just looked at the two and they are not alike at all really. I'll have to decide what I want to do and mabye PM Jagggar depending on what I decide). The Spirit Shaman (CD) is no more an update of the Shaman (OA) than the CW Samurai is an update of the OA Samurai. May I be smote by hereitic88 ten thousand times the day I say the CW Samurai updates the OA Samurai. They are very different classes. Both are allowed in the IFWG. "Do you doubt the fact that I am evil by your pathetic moral standards of alignment? If I was to be classified in such a small alignment system then I would be considered of the prime evil. That is simply the essence of what I am" jagggar eventually calms, regaining control over her laughter. She rights herself into a crouching position as she wipes a tear from her eye. "Hmm, yes, perhaps your kind is pure evil; but pure gold is soft. "Your 'purity' is what limts you. What can you do? Attack those of good? Any evil may do so. Those 'tainted' by good can do something you cannot: they can deny the good within themselves. It is your own limits which blind you to the breadth and depths of morality. "Your darkness means little. You do not scare those of the Light for light beats back and reveals what the darkness hides. Nor do those who have made peace with the darkness within themselves fear you for they know what lies within the darkness. Only those who know neither fear you; but they fear the light equally. "But darkness is not evil. Evil merely hides in the darkness. But evil hides in light as well. Those that hide do so not to be seen, but what can be seen after staring into bright light?" Arlis looks back and forth between the two and pokes Rava. She holds her hands out and opens them like a book, then procedes to 'write' on one of them. |
| thasis06-15-06, 01:43 PM | "There is more to me then pure darkness. Just because I have the essence of evil coursing through every essence of my body, doesn't mean there is not more. You have seen that through the years since my appearence on these lands, yet you have seen so little of me. You have no right to judge what you do not understand" |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 02:20 PM | Nor do those who have made peace with the darkness within themselves fear you for they know what lies within the darkness. Only those who know neither fear you; but they fear the light equally. "But darkness is not evil. Evil merely hides in the darkness. But evil hides in light as well. Those that hide do so not to be seen, but what can be seen after staring into bright light?"[/COLOR] Arlis looks back and forth between the two and pokes Rava. She holds her hands out and opens them like a book, then procedes to 'write' on one of them. So very true. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 02:24 PM | Just to reinstate a point, I'll address the evil ones again, and Arlis as well: Bishop laughs at the ongoing arguement. Jaggar, check that PM about Arlis too... |
| jagggar06-15-06, 02:29 PM | "You would have a better case, was not your better half standing there." she says nodding towards the Good. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 02:36 PM | Bishop watches them, somewhat restless now; his eyes open though he still sits in position. |
| thasis06-15-06, 10:05 PM | "Just because I am seperated from my good at the beggining of my existance in this form that I have not adapted to my situation and changed. But I think you are getting the wrong idea. I am not good, nor do I have sides of good. But I am not what is known as chaotic stupid. I am not a ravaging fiend going around destroying all in his path. I am not one who simply kills for the sake of killing. Sometimes I may present myself that way, but only when the emotions present themselves and it is necessary. So I will repeat once again, do not judge what you do not understand". Thasis the Good has both an inquisitve look and a confused look on his face, "We are not as we seem, yes, that is true. But I still don't understand what you mean..." Thasis the Evil grins, "Ones of Darkness comes in many forms, as shown by Bishop. But individuals of this Darkness come in many aspects within themselves. You see my aspect how I show it now, but to think that's all there is to me is foolish" |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-15-06, 10:34 PM | Bishop nods solemnly in agreement, then returns his attention to Arlis. "Such is the way of evil my friend." |
| jagggar06-16-06, 12:51 AM | "What? Why should I not judge you? I make no claim of love and good and acceptance." Arlis turns to Bishop and repeats her sign, opening her hands like a book, then 'writing' on one of ther hands. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-16-06, 02:02 AM | Bishop rummages through the pockets of his robe, then produces a small quill and ink and a sheet of parchment; he hands it all to Arlis, waiting. |
| jagggar06-16-06, 02:38 PM | best dream. the one about the __?__ of ___?___ women new words. what are they? Arlis writes on the paper first, then jabs at Rava with the feathered end of the quill. Oh, and just to clarify, jagggar made no claim that TtE was chaotic stupid. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-16-06, 03:26 PM | Hahaha, I thought she wanted to write something important... Bishop looks on as Arlis writes her questions, and almost bursts out laughing. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-16-06, 08:47 PM | Link to my RPOL campaign is now in my sig :D |
| thasis06-16-06, 10:14 PM | I know you made no claims, Thasis just takes offence easily ;) And he likes a good debate. "To judge what you do not understand is to make foolish judgements. I didn't not realize you to be a foolish person, so don't act like one" Just acting in character :D |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-16-06, 10:16 PM | Bishop, still slighlty amused by Arlis' question, sits on the floor, retaining his laughter still. |
| thasis06-16-06, 10:31 PM | Should I introduce my new character? (the one from the Warlocks guild) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-16-06, 10:33 PM | idk? for here? possibly for the RPOL--...if its ECL 7, sure |
| jagggar06-16-06, 11:51 PM | k, just making sure we both know. Arlis will get back to 'important' things after he answers. She likes learning new words, partially so people can't purposely talk about her (or otherstuff) without her knowing what they're saying. "Were I not a fool, I would stand on the side of good." |
| Zombomaniac06-17-06, 12:33 AM | best dream. the one about the __?__ of ___?___ women new words. what are they? Arlis writes on the paper first, then jabs at Rava with the feathered end of the quill. Rava wakes brushing away Arlis's quill. "Oh come on people, let a Monkey sleep. I was having the dream again and it was getting to the best part." The Blue looks over and reads Arlis's note and laughs a little, then taking the paper and quill he rights. The second word, Vanara, is the name of my race. I am a Vanara, but male not female, of course. The first word is something you'll be told about when you are a little older, but know that you shouldn't be in one. Now tell me little Spirit, how do you know I said this? I didn't use my hands to say it, I said it. So how did you hear me when you can not hear? |
| jagggar06-17-06, 12:42 AM | your mouth was moving Arlis turns to Bishop and points at the first blank, hoping for an answer from him. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-17-06, 12:55 AM | Bishop smirks. "The first word....well lets just say it's something for those of ill repute." Hey Z, hit the RPOL link in my sig & join up if you want, it'd be cool to have you on the team. |
| jagggar06-17-06, 01:08 AM | Arlis stomps her foot with a huff. jagggar glances over and places her hand over her mouth. "Yeah, not like her parents met in one or anything." Her smirk upon moving her hand away from her face says it's not far from the truth. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-17-06, 01:10 AM | Bishop laughs, falling onto the floor. |
| jagggar06-17-06, 01:13 AM | Think it's funny now? check the edit: jagggar glances over and places her hand over her mouth. "Yeah, not like her parents met in one or anything." Her smirk upon moving her hand away from her face says it's not far from the truth.edit: er, editted the edit |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-17-06, 01:20 AM | hahahahaha! |
| jagggar06-19-06, 07:02 PM | :bump: I think a reply from Zombo or Thasis (either, any, or all Thasi) might be helpful here. |
| Zombomaniac06-19-06, 08:02 PM | Rp wise Rva has nothing to add for now. OOC wise there is something I am wondering. Who shall lead us? Elves4Ever hasn't had any activity since 6/06/06. :twitch: I am asuming that the Devil went and killed him. ;) If Elves isn't leading us then who? :thinks: I know it won't be me as I am not going to be doing the Guild Leader bit this time around. After my first tryies I found that it is not my thing. :yuck: |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-19-06, 08:35 PM | Bishop can do it-temporarily atleast, if that's ok? |
| Zombomaniac06-19-06, 09:56 PM | Bishop can do it-temporarily atleast, if that's ok? It would have to be a group choice. Myself, Wilds, and mabye Jagggar have characters here. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-19-06, 10:08 PM | thats was gonna be my first option- a group cooperation effort, but i didnt know who was going to stay active...sorry bout that |
| Zombomaniac06-19-06, 10:19 PM | thats was gonna be my first option- a group cooperation effort, but i didnt know who was going to stay active...sorry bout that Don't worry, be happy. :D On my part I say "Why not?" From a OOC view I just want someone who will lead us and someone who will uphold the ways of Light, Nature, and Good (I am pretty sure that is what we are founded on). From a IC view Rava doesn't care. He is CN, but farvors the ways of good since they are more Nature-friendly. To him as long as the Light shines and the trees grow he doesnt care. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-19-06, 10:28 PM | on a second note, and i know this isnt the place to ask, but: I want to find someone to build the ultimate sniper, maxed out completely-any race, any class, any feats (PHBII has kickass ones) and the best equipment, etc...preferably Crossbow wielder....max out all levels, stats, etc... anyone up to it? PM me if you want to know more, or WHY... :D |

| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-19-06, 10:47 PM | i would (but i'd like something done soon, to use in the campaign) |
| Zombomaniac06-19-06, 11:37 PM | i would (but i'd like something done soon, to use in the campaign) COF will give you a the best race, levels, and mabye even feats and items if you ask properly. All you would have to do is put it all together. Here yu might get someone to do it all, but I would put more money on the COF. Here I'll go start a thread for this and will see what happens. What ECL are you using? |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-19-06, 11:50 PM | i dont care, max the damned thing out, lets say,....ECL...50-60 i dont care something big send me a link when ur done thanks Z |
| Zombomaniac06-19-06, 11:55 PM | i dont care, max the damned thing out, lets say,....ECL...50-60 i dont care something big send me a link when ur done thanks Z D*** that is a lot bigger then I thought it would be. When I get a good chunk of responce I will send you a link. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-20-06, 12:10 AM | lol, what can i say, i like to max it out to best effect anyway RPOL IS BACK ON!!! c'mon and get on it....we need action! |
| jagggar06-20-06, 12:13 AM | someone who will lead us and someone who will uphold the ways of Light,No. Nature,Sorry. and Good Nope. In other words: "NOT IT!!!" |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-20-06, 12:16 AM | No. Sorry. Nope. In other words: "NOT IT!!!" second thought, me either hells...I'd have the place crawlin with Shamblers... |
| jagggar06-20-06, 12:30 AM | If I had jagggar lead it, she'd clearcut the forrest and create many a furniature factorys which would then have to close once they used all the wood. *strokes chin thinking* Yes. . . and then she'd enslave the elven people who can't work at the factories any more (because they're closed) and sell them to a fat man dressed in red who will force them to make children's play-things for less than a copper a day. Arlis? Arlis really has no business running it. (I'm acutally kinda suprised that no one's tried to detect her alignmet as of yet.) As far as creating an elven character goes, I'm kinda in an elven superiority mood. And that wouldn't result in a good character from me. . . I do have the AD&D The Complete Book of Elves. I picked that up during my fangirl days. Seriously, what use is Orlando Bloom without the long blonde hair and pointy ears? |
| thasis06-20-06, 02:31 AM | Thasis the Good could run it. He's the closest thing to a saviour of good that we have. Jaggar, I always assumed you play'd good characters? |
| jagggar06-20-06, 11:40 AM | The good characters is kinda a reactive thing. Not that I couldn't pull out a good character if that's what the campaign required, but c'mon, everybody else is evil, why can't I be? The one thing I can't do is play a character without a strong motivation or goal of some sort. (Or maybe I just couldn't play them with that DM. . .) I don't really know, It's complex. Maybe it's just that I can't play a character without a strong motivation (for good or for evil) if the DM won't take my hook. (Hello, I'd like to find my brothers. Screw the world, I don't want to be part of any stupid prophesy, I'm not even 5th level yet.) |
| Lady Rolindin06-20-06, 09:21 PM | who ever runs the guild could to me even be neutral good, Lawful good seems to be to over zealus in some ways. unless the guild likes to have characters whom like to try and play by their socital rules of good. what are the social rules for this guild any way, are the lawful or neutral. I agree jaggar that a player can play any kind of character they wish, from evil to good. I usually don't play evil, unless I am running a game (which I have to play the opposing forces). mostly I play good characters and stray from evil ones. thasis run the guild if your character is willing too, the guild does need a leader. |
| thasis06-20-06, 09:44 PM | Ok, Thasis the Good has gone through some changes during his absence though. He's still Neutral Good, but he's... diffrent. |

They can be Choatic Good forall I care. This is a Guild of Good not a Paladin's Palace. |

This is a Guild of Good not a Paladin's Palace what i was trying to say is that the social cultrure of the guild will determine the type of govermental system used. as for a paladin's type system I hope not, it would cause a lot of things to happen depending on the type of Paladin system and belief used. I do hope this will not become a paladin type system in some ways. elf's seem to have their own style of ruling that is different, depending on the elfs in charge. |
| thasis06-25-06, 11:52 AM | Technically my character isn't elf. But he isn't realy human either. He's just inhabiting the body of a human. He's the essence of the pure good essence of Thasis in a material form. So realy, I think he has a good amounts of ability, despite his lack of elven heritage, to run the guild sufficiently. Now on the other hand, if nobody is going to post *shakes fist* |

We just go with their culture a lot. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest06-25-06, 01:53 PM | Now on the other hand, if nobody is going to post *shakes fist* well, DUH! RPOL's got that thing going on....The Skygge, The *****, and The Guard Uniform.....wasnt that a book? |
| jagggar06-25-06, 02:43 PM | Well, as this guild's clearly gotten a RP bent to it, no one is going to post if no one is going to do any role playing and instead everyone is just going to stand around saying, "Who wants to be leader?" Where's the rule that says there has to be a leader? Who's gunna lead if I go off and create some chatoic society guild that hates having a leader? Huh? |

Ok then, no leader. then let Thasis become the leader, he has no proublem with taking charge of the guild it's seems. where is the founder of the guild, I hope they come back and take some part of leadership in the guild. I could help thasis if you would like some help. |
| thasis06-26-06, 02:09 AM | I'm open for any help offered. I'm just taking up the role as I feel that I have the capabilities and the guild realy needs a leader if it is to persist. That's just my opinion though. I have a Half-Air Elemental Elf made at RPOL, but I could easily use an alternate version of her for this campaign. |

| jagggar06-27-06, 01:02 PM | Arlis asked what a harem was and recieved no answer. Posting slowed to a stop as people decided they 'needed' a guildmaster. |
| turalisj06-27-06, 07:26 PM | A harem is.... well you see.... Go to wikipedia.org and type 'harem' in the search under your language. |
| Zombomaniac06-27-06, 09:25 PM | A harem is.... well you see.... Go to wikipedia.org and type 'harem' in the search under your language. Arlis is Jaggar's NPC. Jagggar knows, the little girl Arlis doesn't. Basicly we had some fun RP, Elves4ever seems to have left, we discussed who should be leader, and then it was suggested that we don't have any leader. We would kinda just work with ecachother helping eacgother out and such. Thasis has volunteered to be leader if we choose to have one and has said he would welcome any and all help in leadering this place if he leads it. You guys and galls deside if we should have a leader or not I don't care as long as we are all here, active, and going things that support Light, Good, and Nature. |
