| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 07:17 PM | *****Anyone new to this Foundation Please head right for the top of page 10. Here you will find more info. Anything before then is pre-move stuff and most of those members have not posted in quite a while. Anything worth being seen will be re-posted onto this page. I am hoping that new members will come, share and stay.***** Any one with their own race, a race without a foundation, or an unusually classed character (like dwarven druid) is welcome to this place. Come and share your stories, thoughts, pains, and ideas! :invasion: |
| ShoshuroKaigen07-04-03, 08:03 PM | Count me in! This is the perfect place for my Dhuab, Bastet, and what not. And my troglodyte oozemaster, and my tanaruuk conjurer... *rambles on*. |
| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 08:04 PM | Tell me more. Ramble on as you please! |
| ShoshuroKaigen07-04-03, 08:06 PM | *continues on for an hour or so*... my illithid bard, my modron sorcerer, my fey-ri paladin, my cockatrice cleric of Nerull, and my... Where was I? So am I member no. 2? |
| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 08:12 PM | Well yes conseidering your the only to reply. And...:OMG! wait a minute.... I'd like to here more about that cockatrice. |
| ShoshuroKaigen07-04-03, 08:17 PM | Actually I made that up on the fly... But.... Let me find out the ECL of a cockatrice and I'll have him ready to play :D He could be awakened with Awaken Magical Beast and gain a mean streak, this might actually be an interesting character idea. Thanks for the brain storm! Ciao. |
| Delfedd07-04-03, 08:17 PM | Ah yes, my Minotaur ranger/bloodhound/bearlord/shifter |
| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 08:23 PM | you provide the cockatrice character and ill use him. my pcs think that a normal one isn't enven dangerous:rolleyes: just wait!:smirk: |
| ShoshuroKaigen07-04-03, 08:29 PM | ECL for a Cockatrice according to this ECL Calculator (http://personal.nbnet.nb.ca/shadows/Handbook/ECLcalc.html) is 4.7, rounding to 5. If you cut out the extra HD it is 1.7, which rounds to 2. I would go with the second ECL cutting out my extra five d10 HD. Start him at ECL 5, he would be a level 3 cleric of Nerull. Stats are -4 Strength, +6 dexterity, +2 wisdom, -2 charisma. His petrification ability will be very useful at lower levels, but otherwise he isn't very good at melee combat. He can't weild weapons but can look like a party member's familiar and take enemies by surprise. He will have to take Natural Spell as a feat because he cannot normally cast spells. He would look quite cool actually. I like this character idea. EDIT: Forgot to mention I will try to play him myself, but your welcome on using him as a very evil NPC. Maybe make him the leader of a cult of Nerull where the cultists believe he is an avatar of the god himself. |

| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 09:42 PM | Hey if the weapon he has has the opposable ability than the cockatrice could weild it! Also how bout a Monk/Sorcerer Awakened Shocker Lizard Or a Awakened Shambling Mound Druid! :smirk: |
| ShoshuroKaigen07-04-03, 09:59 PM | List of Projects: Awakened Shocker Lizard Monk/Sorcerer Awakened Shambling Mound Druid Illithid Bard Modron Sorcerer Also you have posted some threads that you shouldn't, like We Want You. Those might tick of the Wizos. Just a thought. Ciao. |
| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 10:01 PM | bah! Its only a thread for people to share their ideas for insane monster NPCs. If the WizOs get mad I am fine with them moving or removing it. |
| Capn Charlie07-04-03, 10:19 PM | Finally a foundation that welcomes me! I have been wanting to play a Quess Diplomat(Rog/Brd/Spynmaster) ever since I found the race on the old boards. By the way my Lupine is a heck of a misfit, I made it up just to finally fulfill the wish of a player of mine. He is a Rgr2/Brb2/Drd5 whose parents were killed by goblins and raised by a tribe of wild elves living in the cold wood in northern faerun who went abroad to see the world and find the legendary living metal to win the title of tribal protector but ended up finding a mercurial great sword and joining an eccentric red wizard of thay and an ex- purple dragon warmaster trying to become baron of the stonelands... <drones on and on> ...then they took over ruins that held the beginnings of an ancient portal network and he felt it is his destiny to reunite all the lupines and is starting his own pack of cohorts and followers and animal companions and... That's just one of my players stories in a nutshell, you don't even wanna know about my npcs. |
| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 10:22 PM | You know those PCs would be nice. You could post them at any of the 3 We Want You! thread located in the DM section, Player's Book-races section, and Savage species Section. Might as well go for it! |
| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 10:31 PM | Take care of your own list. I'll take care of mine don't worry. Mines getting bigger anyways.:smirk: -Awakened Shambling Mound Druid -Awakened Shocker Lizard Monk/Sorcerer -Awakened Carrion Crawler Cleric (Evil duh :) ) -Awakened Earth (or any other)Elemental Fighter/Sorcerer/Elemental Savant -Awakened Gargoyle Cleric/Fighter -Awakened Grick Psionic Warrior  On second thought.... anybody who wants to help me out go for it! |
| ShoshuroKaigen07-04-03, 10:57 PM | I call the Gargoyle! *starts calculating ECLs* |
| ShoshuroKaigen07-04-03, 10:58 PM | Also, Gricks, Gargoyles, and Elementals don't need to be Awakened. |
| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 10:59 PM | Thanks that one I could use right away....been too busy making my maps to do it though. |
| ShoshuroKaigen07-04-03, 11:10 PM | Alright, Grimclaw, the Fighter/Cleric of Erynthul, is underway. First, one question, what level? Gargoyles have a high ECL if you include their bonus HD. +4 Dexterity, +8 Constitution, -4 Intelligence, -4 Charisma Freeze Ability +8 to Hide in rocky terrain 4 bonus d10 HD DR 15/+1 Flight 75 ft (average) +4 Natural Armor I think thats it. Comes to an estimated ECL of +6. |
| Souza07-04-03, 11:10 PM | :D Heya! A foundation for my Cheetah (anthropomorphic) Monk / Drunken Master! http://geocities.yahoo.com.br/greychico/extra/drunk.txt I dont use Savage species very much IMC. One player is a Werewolf, and thats it. For NPC's, i do use this book a lot.. I must find a DM, too many ideas (from this topic) :) May i join the FFTWNWETG? |
| Capn Charlie07-04-03, 11:11 PM | Dibs on #4! I can't believe I'm putting a foundation in my sig, oh well blood wolf's been wanting the thay quote back anyway... Long Live the Eccentrics! ;) |
| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 11:13 PM | Of course anyone who has the waky enough ideas for the FFTWNWETG can join. Nice idea by the way. I have no stats for the Drunken master. and the post after...elementals....go for it! |
| ShoshuroKaigen07-04-03, 11:18 PM | Medium sized Earth elementals have a ECL of 5.5, which rounds to +6. +10 Strength, -2 Dexterity, +6 Constitution, -6 Intelligence Earth Mastery Push +9 Natural Armor 4 bonus d8 HD Speed 20 ft Elemental Qualities |
| baneofkobolds07-04-03, 11:20 PM | By the way Capn_Charlie your member #3 and Souza your #4 |
| ShoshuroKaigen07-04-03, 11:25 PM | What total ECL do you want for Grimclaw, the gargoyle, baneofkobolds? I would get a good one with ECL 15. Gargoyle 6/Fighter 4/Cleric of Erynthul 5. If you have Defenders of the Faith, I would advise you to use the Templar instead of fighter, because I envision a gargoyle cleric a mighty sentinel of a evil temple. |

| baneofkobolds07-05-03, 11:31 PM | As indicated by some this should be in the savage species....well I'm going to start a thread(deleteing and remaking it 1/week) there with a link to this thread....actually to an updated thread of the FFTWNWETG. CN Chaos Beast Ranger CG Abeil Vassal Wu Jen (in love with the Formian) CG Formian Warrior Sorceror (in love with the Abeil) LG Cerebrilith Fighter (thats the 5th smegging Cerebrilith he's *>$!)+ played!!!) N Varakhut Psion LG Senmurv Shugenja CN Greenvise Rogue (me!) I'll get their stats up soon, the Greenvise dude is a couple of posts up... |
| Bjorn the Wanderer07-07-03, 11:09 PM | Our DM to allow total fairness between all the players gave us the following stats to organize as we saw fit then adjust by race. 17,14,13,11,9,7 I went with the Anthro ape for +2str +6 dex and +4 wis The organised it as such. Str 9+2 =11 Dex 15+6 =21 Con 13 (+2) =15 (toad familiar) Int 11+0=11 Wis 7+4 =11 Chr 17+0 =17 Since we are playing very low levels with limited magic to start her equipment is presently rather limited. At 4th level She added +1 to dex for a total dex of 22. She is now a level 2 sorceress with 2 levels to account for the ape. She is a very charismatic ape lady standing 6 feet tall and weighing in at 260 pounds. I acidently rolled for her on the male human line and then the DM made me keep it to make up for the ape aspect of her. Her present equipment includes a masterwork light crossbow, with masterwork bolts providing her with an amazing +11 to hit with it (+2BAB for ape, +1BAB for sorceress, +6 for dex and 2 from the master work crossbow and amunition) a short spear to set versus incoming charges. And when she is walking about with no armour a wonderful AC of 19 from the combination of Dex and +3 natural armour. She has a bag of holding as her only magic item along with a number of minior potions, Cure lights and blur. She has bought herself a home with the assistance of the remainder of the part setting up a alchemists lab in a very secure basement. Nothing special but a decent character with some role play ability. Later, Bjorn the deceased |

| Orcy The Green Wonder07-08-03, 07:05 PM | NarlethDrider, if you dont mind drawing characters for people there is a character art request thread here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=692499#post692499). After seeing some of your work I believe many of the people that request characters would appreciate you giving it a shot. That is of course if you arent helping out the people here with something at the time. Theres almost always a steady flow of requests, so knock yerself out if you would like to. |
| Capn Charlie07-09-03, 01:40 AM | Second party material? Sounds like no place else to go material to me! Welcome aboard I say. With two artists we shall usher in a new era of art and learning heretofore unseen in neither thread nor foundation! Long live the misfits!! Also see my above post. |

| Bjorn the Wanderer07-10-03, 10:44 AM | Thanks ofor the image. I was thinking maybe a little less hair but I like it. I'm considering makeing a monk out of the ape. Would be fun and lethal in a non lethal kinda way. Was thinking of a monk who would not actually harm anyone. always doing subduel damage. and never willing to hamr something that cannot defend itself even if it is evil. Just a though. Later, Bjorn the Deceased. |

| Simeon38X07-14-03, 02:12 PM | As you might know, I like drawing adventure parties made of weird race/class combos. Heres what I mean... http://www.enworld.org/modules/gallery/albums/albup66/adventure_party.jpg An adventure party consisting of a Medusa Ranger, Spinagon Wizard, Carrion Crawler Barbarian, Rogue Eidolon Fighter, Jahi Cleric and a Neogi Illusionist. Anyway I want to do another picture like this (I have three others in my enworld gallery) but cant think of what odd race/class combos to try. Could some of make a list of six characters, like my description under the picture. Thanks...:) |
| Zat07-14-03, 02:13 PM | Ooooooo....... What about a Rog/Soc Kobold? His name is Niblick. If thats not good enough, then how about a small gleatenous cube with an intelligence of 6 (think jellyfish) named Allen. |

| Zat07-14-03, 02:50 PM | Niblick is a character that I have made and played. And Allen was just to see if it was unusuall enough. IF you want to make Allen you can. Niblick is mine. |

| Zat07-14-03, 03:13 PM | IF you read Nintendo Power, then you know Allen. IF not, well then rain drop like thing. |

| Simeon38X07-14-03, 03:20 PM | Anyway getting back to the point (sorry Zat, but I really couldn't figure out your request, please dont take it the wrong way :( ) can anyone think of 6 weird race/class combos for me to draw in an adventure party picture?... :) |
| Zat07-14-03, 03:26 PM | Thats ok. Giving any one a definate shape makes it so that they can't grow nearly as much. |

| Bushmeister07-15-03, 02:35 PM | My all-time favourite has got to be Grumpus, the goblin fighter. Trained by an ex-mercenary captain, Grumpus's abilities in battles were limited to mocking the opponents before the battle and (if the party won) after them as well. He spent lots of money on fancy, ornate armor and weapons and then hid behind the party's spellcasters ("Guarding the flank", as I always said) when the real troubles started. Grumpus had his fifteen minutes in fame when the other fighter got bored of fighting alone and just hurled my poor Grumpus to the front. The brave little goblin defeated the two monstrous spiders (after trying to bribe them off), but sadly fell into a pit trap two corners further into the dungeon's third level. I created a new character, but by some luck the DM let us see Grumpus later on (he had survived the fall, sneaked his way trough the dungeon and ran off as far as he could) when the party accidentally entered his new inn. Oh, the joy, the joy. That's pretty much my only weird character, but I've played a tiefling fighter/sorcerer in a one-shot adventure taking place in the Planescape set. He was a bit of a min/max-character, but extremely funny as we met his father (a pit fiend) in a destroyed military outpost on Acheron. |

Will you consider me a boring rulesmunchkin if I remember you that with a pit fiend for father your character was NOT a tiefling but at least a half-fiend? |

| baneofkobolds07-15-03, 06:24 PM | id like to see the goblins stats and youre in if you want! |
| Bushmeister07-16-03, 12:01 PM | Thy honor me to no end ;) OK, I did some digging up, and here's the stats for Grumpus: 4th level Fighter Str: 12 Dex: 19 Con: 11 Int: 9 Wis: 8 Cha: 12 Half-Plate (ornate, cost pretty much), short sword (ornated, cost pretty much), light flail (used to disarm people, followed up with a quick thrust from the sword) Weapon Focus (short sword), Weapon Specialization (short sword), Ambidexterity, Combat Reflexes LOTS of ranks in Hide & Move Silently (being small and a goblin, these were what I viewed as essential skills for survival), and some in Climb and Spot. It was actually proposed that he'd act as a scout/rogue, but I strongly objected as being alone could VERY possibly be hazardous to one's health. |
| Bjorn the Wanderer07-16-03, 03:45 PM | Over the weekend I started back to my campaign with my reworked anthro ape, now as a monk rather then a sorceress. He is not not a she as well as a little lighter not as tall and lots more fun to play. Starting with huge bonuses to Wiz and Dex is very helpful for a monk with natural armour. So using the stats of 17,15,13,11,9,7 with a +2 S +6 D and +4W I created the following at 4th level. Str 11 (9+2) Dex 23 (17+6) Con 13 Int 15 Wiz 16 (11+4 +1 for lvl4) Chr 7 Combined with the natural armour of 3 for the ape he has an AC of 22 (10 +6 dex +3 NA +3 Wiz). Not bad for walking around in normal clothing. Same as the Party fighter in fullplate and large sheild. Took the feat weapon finesse unarmed strike combined with the BAB of +2 ape and +1 monk for a total of +9 to hit with unarmed strikes (+7/ +7 furry of blows). Concentrated on mobility skills like tumble, balance, jump, a little swim and climb. At this point He has the ability to tumb through around opponents on any roll but a 1. 5 ranks, ability 6, and a +2 synergy bonus from jump for +13. amazing saves of Fort +7 (3 monk, 3 ape, 1 con) Ref + 12 (3, monk, 3 ape, 6 dex) and Will +6 (3 monk, 3 wiz) Works out very well and really irritated the enemy when every time he hits it is for a D6 subduel damage. Later, Bjorn the Deceased. |

| baneofkobolds07-18-03, 05:56 PM | I agree that is very cool!:D |
| Orcy The Green Wonder07-19-03, 06:52 PM | I should have posted this on the origional post, but that isnt my work. I had it done over on the character art request thread that I believe I've linked on here before. New character going, using the wrath and rage book, I took the half-orc template they give and applied it to a hobgoblin. Half-orc/Half-Hobgoblin, hes big, hes red, hes hairy. Very cool character. |
| Bjorn the Wanderer07-21-03, 02:50 PM | I got thinking about a differnt character which might be fun to give a try. Got thinking about an antro skunk Cleric of Illmater. Think it would be oddly fun and exceptionally interesting. Only problem is that my monk would have to die in order to let me do it. Bugger maybe in time but hopefully not. Later, Bjorn the Deceased |
| baneofkobolds07-21-03, 05:37 PM | Why dont you post the stats anyway I'd like to see them. |
| Bjorn the Wanderer07-21-03, 06:59 PM | Originally posted by baneofkobolds Why dont you post the stats anyway I'd like to see them. Unfortunatly I don't have any as I'm away from my books and will not get back to them for a while. So I'm kinda stuck on an idea. Trying to find out how an antro skunk would work out. Hard to do with no help at all. Maybe in time, unless someone could draw up the basics on an antro skunk for me. Bjorn the Deceased |
| baneofkobolds07-21-03, 09:57 PM | thats too bad. I'd do it but I am very busy preparing for my new campaign as it is hopefully going to really begin this week with a 4 hour session.:D :D |
| Orcy The Green Wonder07-21-03, 10:16 PM | one of the nastiest things I've seen has to be the half-orc/half-minotaur. I Slapped the half-orc template (from wrath and rage) on one of them horned big boys... run away. This thing can tear thru a whole lot... though it has that nasty +8 ECL. |

I made a hybrid template the once, and my DM liked it. Jesus christ he made so many monsters from that, and he completly Minocentric!... Minotuar/Halfling hybrids (odd) Minotaur/Troll hybrids (very odd) Minotaur/Beholders (yes you heard me right) and the best of a massive collection... Minotaur/Filcher (now your scared) Actually, I convinced him to try the last one!...:D |
| Zat07-22-03, 03:57 PM | Minotuar/Halfling hybrids (odd) I had a friend who played something like this. This was before we learned about the whole ECL thing, and it was just lvl1. It killed everybody at least twice. I don't like him (player, not race). |

| Daeri Maer'jiir07-22-03, 07:03 PM | Dregh Personality Dregh are always curious of their surroundings, which means they can live very adventurously, however they are shy in company. This often means that they end up, looking but not touching. Physical description A Dregh stands around 6’10” -7’ 6”, most of this height is due to the large tail that supports their legless bodies. The bottom half resembles a snake’s lower half; however it merges in to a furry torso. The top half looks like a satyr, however, only in a few ways. First as previously stated they have a fine fur, and also ram horns. Diet They seem to have a "Weakness" to caffeine and adrenaline. All stimulants have an increasesed effect. Dregh have a fondness for spicy food, along with spices, they like fish, bread, vegetables, and some fruit. They are generally vegetarians, as the seed rarely falls far from the tree. Alignment Trying to avoid outside conflict most Dregh remain neutral, however some take their curiosity out of their homeland and take sides. Homeland Dregh live near or in forests, and usually near steams, they favour flat ground, and almost all humid climates, they dislike deserts, and open land. Dregh are happy near almost every kind of forest. Dregh prefer natural houses, but large congregations mean the need for buildings. Other populations of Dregh live in places other than forests but do not like cold climates because of their cold-bloodedness. Religion Dregh worship Elhonia, some may vary but all the gods they pay tribute to have natural aspect, all except the evil Dregh who openly worship Merrshaulk and are some times friends of the Yuan-ti. Language Dregh speak their own language, and other races may find it hard as it bears no resemblance to other languages. They understand a smidgeon of common and elfish, they can pick up most languages much faster then humans can. Names The Dregh have a sacred and magical book of all names that have been chosen so far, and thus no other Dregh would use another’s name on their child, to do so would shame their child and them selves. Names are individuality, and to take someone else’s would be like taking styles, and ideas. Some common names are Male: Andar, Frulle, Doulk, Shorn and Gernohr Female: Leialla, Klyyr, Hourn, Shrenale and Guolle Miscellaneous Even good Dregh kill Yuan-ti on sight, and do not speak of their “Tainted brothers” openly, and Dregh do not provoke Yuan-ti, but if one is met, they will not hesitate to kill it. Racial traits +2 Con -2 Wisdom Movement rate of 30ft Low-light Vision Dregh can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. They retain they ability to distinguish colour and detail under these conditions. +2 to Will saves against fear affects +2 to Swim, spot and search checks Wood cunning as Stone cunning but with wood Parvels next |
| baneofkobolds07-23-03, 06:56 PM | I like this new race maybe I'll find a way to fit them in to my campaign.:D |
| Capn Charlie07-24-03, 11:12 PM | Over on the mature boards we're having a discussion as to the nature of the *ahem* genitalia of reptilian humanoids. Anyone with insight into real reptiles or fictional reptiles would be appreciated. |
| baneofkobolds07-26-03, 05:56 PM | just about anything else on reptiles i culd probably clue you in on...:bored: |
| Daeri Maer'jiir07-27-03, 09:58 AM | Dregh excrete fluids and they mix etc, real reptile, I have no idea. |
| Zat07-27-03, 10:55 AM | Reptiles work alot like fish. So a male reptile and a female anything else, might work...... This is ofcourse ignoring the whole chromosome problem. |

| Zat07-28-03, 10:52 AM | If I've already done this, then too bad. Here is something I came up with for another thread. They're called Cobblings (http://ferien.aribytes.org/cobblings.html) |
| Simeon38X07-31-03, 03:50 AM | Heres a party im going to play in soon. We've started at 8th level... SYKODO DARKFOOT Gender: Male Species: Half-Drow/Half-Pseudonatural Entity (mother was an alienist wizard who fell in love with an ageless, sexless entity entity that had no name) Zodiac: Taurus Age: 91 years (elven teen!, yet still the oldest in the group) Alignment: Chaotic Good Class: Psion (nomad) 2 (ECL 7) Religion: None, considers his friends more important than the immortals (though he respects Corellon Larethian) Height: 7'3" (tallest in the group) Weight: 87 lb. Good points: Sykodo is friendly, very-open and accepting in nature. He is creative and artistic. He cares nothing for other peoples differences, and loves to explore new ways of looking at things. He's also very feminine. Bad points: He tends to be sensitive and easily upset. He can be flighty and undedicated to friends and family. Its not he is self-intrested, far from it. He just finds it difficult when things go against him. Strength's: Dexterity, Charisma Weaknesse's: Strength, Constitution Best friend: Anesha Sunchild, probably because she's a teenager to. Companions: Sqea'chetk, pronounced sqee-check, a pseudonatural little raven pet of Sykodos. Looks like flying rams skull, with 4 crab-like legs and a pair wings on the which on the right is like a ravens, the left like a bats. Physical Description: Sykodo is tall and slim, and almost as feminine in appearance as in personality. He often wears an odd mixture of flamboyant and rugged clothing. This might include a bit of leather-armor with petticoat, flared-sleeves or trousers, guadily-patterned fabric, anything showy. At the same time he likes to contrast it with rugged dull cloaks, torn tabbards, etc. Appearance wise, he appears as a sort of alien Drow. He has light grey skin opposed to the night black skin of true Drow. He has 3 large expressive, pupiless eyes, completly violet in color and the extra one is on his forhead. He has no nose, but a friendly mouth with two tiny fangs. His left foot is hoof-like, whilst his right foot is more insectile. His hands end with 3 talons-like fingers that are surrounded by a couple of small, prehensile tentacles. His ears and long and pointed even by elven standards, and they flare out sideways rather than up. His left hand has a large human-like green eye on it, and a from his left temple is a spiraling ram-like horn. He has a spiky head of hair that he has dyed somewhat orange and red at the tips. Nicknames: Syke to his friends Weapons: A living Katana (that bites and flies!) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOKO SHADOWSTAG Gender: Female Species: Goblin (with distant umbral heritage) Zodiac: Gemini Age: 19 Alignment: Neutral Good Class: Rogue 4/Sorceror 4 (ECL 1) Religion: Respects but doesn't worship Olidammara Height: 2'2" (shortest of the group) Weight: 23 lb. Good points: Yoko is charming and comfortable company, she knows how to please the opposite gender to her advantage. Despite this seemingly vulnerable nature she exudes she is actually very confidant and can handle herself against idiots. She's very streetwise too. Bad points: She can be arrogant sometimes, and blatantly honest. If she doesn't like someone she'll let them know it. Sometimes her silver tounge and witty nature gets her into trouble. Strength's: Intelligence, Charisma Weaknesse's: Strength, Wisdom Best friend: Vega Draketail (her boyfriend), and she gets on well with Anesha. Companions: Uba, a large Shadow that protects Yoko, ever since she was a child. Physical Description: Yoko is small even by Goblin standards, yet has that appithany of female forms. She is inexplicably atttractive for a Goblin as well. She dresse's like a Goth. She wears black makeup and deep-plum lipstick. She wears crop-tops and short-skirts, and basicly anything revealing. She often wears a few light chains and pendants as well. She has unusually pale-skin, a pure white color. Unusual since she has umbral ancestry. However she has completly black, shiny eyes. She has long, black hair combed into two pig-tails. She almost always wears a necklace with Olidammara's symbol on it. Nicknames: Vega likes to call her 'bright-eyes' Weapons: A composite shortbow (a longbow by her standards!) and a Kukri carved with an image of a shadow mastiff. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- VEGA DRAKETAIL Gender: Male Species: Kobold Zodiac: Libra Age: 22 Alignment: Neutral Class: Wizard 8 (ECL 1) Religion: None, believes that outright worshipping gods is naive. Besides, Yoko and his friends are more important to him. Height: 2'5" Weight: 24 lb. Good points: Vega is calm and cool-minded. Although he cares little for law and order, he is by nature diplomatic. Unlike most Kobolds, he has no cowardly streak, and he fears little. He can settle down paranoia and superstitous mumbo-jumbo with a keen intellect. Bad points: He can be arrogant, and can seem uncaring to people he doesn't know. He sometimes leaves people to solve their own problems. He is sometimes critical about religous belief. He tends to supress his emotions, but not his views. Strength's: Dexterity, Intelligence Weaknesse's: Constitution, Charisma Best friend: Yoko Shadowstag (his girlfriend), he also shares a sarcastic but friendly relationship with Dakari. Companions: Zane, a Shocker-lizard pet that thinks it's a dog (barks and everything!) that Vega keeps. Physical Description: Vega is slightly taller than most Kobolds. He is surprisingly manly, but not muscular. He often wears comfortable clothes, but with a few wizardly touches. This is normally a pair of trousers and shirt, with an buttoned short-tailed duster coat and a blue cloak wrapped around his neck and chest. He often wears a kilt and a beret-hat as well, because he just wears whatever he finds comfy and doesn't give a damm about coherence and fashion. He also wears a minature pair of glasses that fit at the end of his reptilian snout. He has smooth, scaled skin that is a light earthy green in color. His horns are small, one reason he wears a beret because he feels somewhat ashamed. He also has a pierced tail. Nicknames: Yoko likes to call him 'Sugar' and Dakari jokingly calls him 'The Brains'. Weapons: A light crossbow, unlike most Wizards he loaths to carry staffs and wands. As long as he has his components he's fine. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- GRAZAK BAGRAKKA Gender: Male Species: Unknown (stat-wise an anarchic half-orc) Zodiac: Cancer Age: 34 Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Class: Barbarian 2/Psychic Warrior 1 (ECL 6) Religion: None, simply because he understands little but nature. Height: 5'8" Weight: 248 lb. Good points: Grazak is a simple but surprisingly protective. He has lived in the wilderness all of his life, and understands the forces of nature with surprising profanity. He is primal and undogmatic, and treats animals with as much respect he would give a sentient being. Bad points: Because of his small-mind, he finds some concepts difficult to grasp. He can be uncontroably aggressive as well, mindlessly flying into a rage when angered. His protective nature towards his friends can quickly become violent. Strength's: Constitution, Wisdom Weaknesse's: Intelligence, Charisma Best friend: Hagrek, his fellow companion Companions: Hagrek, failed mind-flayer experiment, an Illithid/Wolf hybrid that is untamable, but has a particular fondness of Grazak, probably because Grazrak treats him as an equal. Physical Description: Grazak is unnaturally muscular. But not in a macho, manly way, more in an obscenely brutish way. He wears little, except for a pair of stiched-up, ragged baggy trousers. He has fur pelt on his waist and torso to carry his possessions. He is unusual in appearance, because it is unknown what species or race he is. He has gigantic shoulders and massive, hunched back. He normally walks about on fours. He has digigrade canine-like legs. His skin is fleshy, red color, but when he angered this darkens to an almost blood-like crimson. He has few, porcupine-like spines poking from his back, and his comparatively small head is almost all mouth that takes up left side of his face as well, on the right is a bloodshoot, twicthing eye. He has a few messy knots of matted-hair in dreadlocks. Nicknames: Kaniya honors him with the name 'Bear', Yoko sometimes lovingly calls him 'Big Guy'. Weapons: A couple of throwing flints and stone-headed axe. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ANESHA SUNCHILD Gender: Female Species: Human (actually a dead rebel good-natured Succubus who was reincarnated and accidently born with wings and the memory of her past life) Zodiac: Pisces Age: 14 (the youngest in the group) Alignment: Chaotic Good Class: Cleric 6 (ECL 3) Religion: Has dedicated her life to the worship of Corellon Larethian Height: 5'2" Weight: 113 lb. Good points: Anesha is understanding and open-minded, and willing to stand unflinched in her views of justice and morals. She believes that freedom is the ultimate existence, and she openly rebels against law and evil. Bad points: Though normally outstanding and confidant in her beliefs, she is easily frightened and timid when in the face of danger. She relies on Sykodo for his confidance for support in battle. In a diplomatic situation however she is capable. Strength's: Dexterity, Wisdom Weaknesse's: Strength, Constitution Best friend: Sykodo Darkfoot, probably because he's a teenager to. She also gets on well with Yoko. Companions: Chill and Wisp, a semi-sentient, long-lived pair consisting of a Moth and Butterfly that Anesha can understand and looks after. Infact Anesha can understand and talk to any insect. Physical Description: Anesha is like any typical pre-teen girl, only more beautiful and naturally prettier. She wears a little make-up, but she's actually pretty enough as it is. She has seemingly short blond hair which she crops out, a bit like Sykes only straighter. She does however have a long pony-tail that almost reachs the floor. She wears rebellious, punky clothes, and she has a large fondness of the color white. She often wears massive flares and sleeveless tops. She likes to wear flowers in her hair, however (perhaps due to the fact she was a Succubus in a past-life) she likes to wear gothic claw-rings and chain bracelets. Her strangest features however are her pale blue, almost husky-like eye's and her large angelic wings. Nicknames: Neesh to her friends Weapons: A yellow-shafted Shortspear with a diamond spear-tip that sears the flesh of evil creatures. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- KANIYA TEZKAL Gender: Female Species: Half-Human/Half-Gnoll (brother of Dakari, complex family-life you see. Dakaris mother died when he was born, and Dakaris dad 5 years later found love again with a human shaman, hence Kaniya was born) Zodiac: Saggitarius Age: 22 Alignment: Neutral Good Class: Fighter 5/Druid 3 (ECL 1) Religion: Worships nature and the spirit-realm, she respects Ehlonna, Fharlanghn and Obad-hai Height: 5'6" Weight: 132 lb. Good points: Kaniya is good-natured and loyal. She is friendly and defensive of her friends and the innocent. She respects animals and nature, and rarely speaks ill of the dead. She and Dakari have a friendly rivalry like any siblings. Bad points: Like Grazak (whom she's a good friend of) is short-fused and somewhat illogical. She gets quite violent with those who would make a profit from nature. She also has a inexplicable phobia of fire. Strength's: Strength, Dexterity Weaknesse's: Constitution, Intelligence Best friend: Though she is as kindly as her brother Dakari Tezkal, she relates to Grazak very well. Companions: Yani, a cute little Blink Bunny (or Al'mir-raj from tome of horrors) that Kaniya keeps. Physical Description: Kaniya is shorter than her brother, and feminine, but she also quite stout and buch. She is certainly stronger than most of the men in the group. She looks like a human in most respects, but she is covered with a light, tawny fur like a Fawn. She has pointed, canine ears and digigrade legs. Her fingernails are sharp, and she has a bushy tail. She has deep, expressive hazel eyes and a pair of pointed fangs. She has long, braided and dreadlocked hair. She often wears loose fitting, forest-colored clothes and a small amount of leather-armor. She somestimes wears a woven skirt with ancient, tribal patterns. Nicknames: Dakari jokingly calls her 'kid', because he can just about remember a time when she wasn't around. Grazak honors her with the name 'Wolf'. Weapons: She fights unarmed like a monk, she hates carrying weapons because she feels unprepared when holding them. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- DAKARI TEZKAL Gender: Male Species: Gnoll Zodiac: Scorpio Age: 27 Alignment: Neutral Good Class: Shaman 5/Ranger 2 (ECL 2) Religion: Worships nature and the spirit-realm, he respects Ehlonna, Fharlanghn and Obad-hai Height: 6'2" Weight: 129 lb. Good points: Dakari has a happy-go-lucky, over-friendly, almost eccentric nature. He's the sort of person who can turn arguments into laughter. He has a good sense of humor. Bad points: Sometimes he doesn't take serious events seriously enough, and despite his obvious wisdom he can react a bit slowly to things. Strength's: Intelligence, Wisdom Weaknesse's: Dexterity, Constitution Best friend: He's the sort of person who is everyones best friend. But with his younger sister Kaniya he shares a friendly sibling rivalry. He shares a sort of sarcastic but friendly relationship with Vega. Companions: Te, Bi and Ko, a trio of Zashiki Warashi (from creatures of rokugan) that are basicly tiny, child-like tree-spirits. My friend got the idea from Princess Mononoke you see!. Dakari (being a shaman) sought their aid from them the once, and they decided to stay as they took a fondness to him. Physical Description: Dakari is tall and lanky, even by Gnoll standards. He likes to combine traditional with non-traditional when it comes to clothes. He wears baggy trousers and woven-cradigans decorated with leaves, forest-tapestry and feathers. He wears a large bird-like skull on a tabbard, and his long hair is braided and dreadlocked. He also has a pierced lip and short buzz-cut mohawk. He has scar across his left eye. Nicknames: Kaniya jokingly calls him 'Daki'. Weapons: A gnarled quarterstaff, like a typical Shaman. However it is also possessed by a spirit of a myocinid elder. Dakari and Kaniya once saved the dead elders Myocinid village from a evil spirit called a Lu Nat. In return the elder made home in his staff so that he could heal with it. |

Fox Lee did it for me. I would draw it, but I cant draw beautiful and feminine characters at all. If I could afford it I would pay Fox Lee to do a nice, colored version for me. By the way has anyone got any requests, I haven't done any drawing in yonks...:) |
| baneofkobolds07-31-03, 02:21 PM | are those character's ages their ages or the player's ages cause a 14 year old elf is like not even a ten year old human i mean they live a 100 years before being close to adulthood |
| Orcy The Green Wonder07-31-03, 02:29 PM | Read the reincarnated part. That would explain how she can be so young. |
| baneofkobolds07-31-03, 03:09 PM | ah ok i missed that somehow.. |
| Israfel66607-31-03, 05:56 PM | I remember some1 on the FR board saying that his character was a good drow albino  . You may want to search him and invite him to the foundation, because he surely represented something out of any standard ;) |
| Simeon38X08-01-03, 03:11 AM | Whoops, I made a typo there. Anesha isn't an Winged Elf, she's a Winged Human. Quite stupid of me really, because if she was an Elf she'd still pretty much be a baby!... |
| Daeri Maer'jiir08-01-03, 10:17 AM | That might have been me. I never played the character, just had the concept. Which was.... Drow baby is born albino, and is sacraficed, and thrown out. The body is collected b a drow druid, who reincarnates him as something. I got that far and kind of gave up. |
| baneofkobolds08-03-03, 01:21 PM | BUMP |
| Zat08-04-03, 07:09 PM | *Bumping* is sad |

| Simeon38X08-05-03, 02:57 AM | Has anyone got any requests?. I've only got one request at the moment and thats a half-gold dragon psychic warrior somebody wants me to draw...:) |
| baneofkobolds08-05-03, 04:19 PM | bumb was pretty sad but there was no replies for a while ive been busy training some newbies so i have had no time to make somethin to post and no one else was so as for a pic how bout a half-gold dragon/ half-elf wizard/psion/dragon disiple/illithid slayer with a bow and quiver straped to his back, in the quiver put arrows and crystal capacitators, also a diorje that has easy access, also in hand put a sickle(in each) one metal one crystal, have blue electic effect on the crystal one and red fire effect on the metal one both with wooden handles, maybe some psionic tattoos, oh and wings too (dragon of course) make him in some cool combat action the pic would be much appreciated thanx |
| Israfel66608-05-03, 04:50 PM | If you are out of requests, here's mine. I would like it to be very dark, my absolute favourite would be a b/w drawing on black paper, but it'll do anyway: (nb character is a half-drow/half-shadow dragon sorcerer/fighter/cleric of Shar with a night hunter familiar. Her armor and boots are made of her mother's scales and her necklace of some of her mother's teeth) Akran is an unnaturally tall drow, she's almost seven feet. Her skin is jet-black and slightly scaled, especially on the neck and legs. Her face sports angulated features and reptilian eyes; her hair is white, bound in a ponytail. Akran wears a black "leather" armor made of purple-black dragon scales and boots (with no heels) of the same materials; a pair of slender wands are sheathed in one boot. Around the neck she wears a necklace of long fangs. Her shoulders and back are covered by a rock-hued cloak, closed by a Sharran pin (resembling a black disk with purple borders). A similar pin, but larger, closes her belt. Both of her hands are covered by steel bracers, each of which ends in four cruelly sharpened straight blades. Behind her, a huge bat (5 ft. wingspan) glides in the darkness (if you have Monsters of Faerun, it's a night hunter bat) |

From what I can tell these are the members. I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool if everyone on the foundation had an iconic character, in otherwords the weird iconics have their members name. For example if Daeri Maer'jiir wanted a Psionic Loxo as his iconic character, the iconic would be named 'Daeri Maer'jiir' after his owner. What does everyone think, whats everyones iconics gonna be... :D It would also be intresting to see if you can come up with iconics that suit your member name. For example Cthulthoth_the_Callin_Chaos might be some weird inhuman Alienist, whilst Capn Charlie might be a leader of some monstrous pirates. Can everyone please reply to this, I really, really want to do this!... |

They have acid and junk, plus some psionics, and Mind Blast. It has Extract too. It would be cheesy, but they start Medium, mayber Small, so it's ok. I WANT ONE!!! Well, I do have an elven pyromaniac, and coincidentally, a copy of the Silmarillion on hand. Courtesy of Prof Tolkien... Anor - "Fire", as in Feanor, Spirit of Fire. Also "Sun", as in Minas Anor, Tower of the Sun. Naur - "Fire" again, as in Gandalf's fire spell (The Hobbit), "Naur an edraith ammen!", "Fire come forth!" Not entirely sure if he was using Quenya or Sindarin in that case. Eh. Can't check now, anyway. |

And what's with the cross-gendered Nymph? Hmm, and outgoing Ooze with a bubbly personality, but of course thats not the only thing that was bubbling!... As for the Nymphs and Satyrs. On our world Nymphs are almost always female and Satyrs are almost always male. However 1 in every 50 children born will be of the opposite gender. However they still retain the personality and mindset of the opposite gender. So male Nymphs are just a feminine and tend to be slim and lithe in appearance, whilst female Satyrs are very masculine, have well-toned bodies and stocky statures. |

So can I join? Eagle.... with an Owl. |

| baneofkobolds02-10-04, 05:08 PM | SO much to do SO little time. sorry havent posted anything lately but this past months been bs. Im a junior in high school an was sick the week before chrismas vacation so missed stuff. when i came back beeing in the AP and honors classes that i am i had to stay extra everday for two weeks. besides that the half bathroom had ceiling fan malfunction now were redoing practically the whole room. being the oldest and only male im the one who has to help my dad. beside that midterms were only a week and a half ago and third quarters starting. beside all this i just got star wars galaxies and went poor buying the ram and video card i needed to play it and have played that quite a bit. now im sick again missing too much more school work and have had and now have very little time and energy to think about D&D sadly to say. my campaign that im DMing was supposed to start a month ago too. hopefully within the next week or too ill be better and cought up enough to work on stuff and maybe have my player's characters to post. any way thats way ive done little with this foundation in the past month or two and dont worry stuff will be coming from the foundation founder. |
| baneofkobolds02-10-04, 05:12 PM | hate to double post but i know my spelling is off i am just way out of it right now |
| The Ethereal Wickerman02-11-04, 08:58 AM | Dont worry mate, i've be posting stuff to keep it going whilst your not here...:D |
| baneofkobolds02-14-04, 03:32 PM | well i got some rest, feel much better, missed very little in school, and its feb vaca so i should be posting stuff soon:ayyyy!: |
| Land Outcast02-17-04, 11:10 AM | Maybe it is not THAT weird but my epic halfling Brbn/Rgue/(abrebiation of Frenzied berseker)/shdwdncer) did work just fine(Love calling him "ambusher:b: "). "Not all that is gold dlitters nor all who wander are lost"---J.R.R. Tolkien |
| Zenos02-19-04, 02:25 PM | One of my favorites is using the psions are different/same to make odd prestige class combos. Technically (if psionics = magic) then being able to manifest counts as cast, etc. This means you could make a wizard/psion/geomancer who casts wizard spells with power points, or prepares powers with spell slots. lots of fun combinations available with this one. |
| baneofkobolds02-19-04, 05:58 PM | you guys know whats dumb how a 9 day vacation seems like its been 3 years after the first three days and then all of a sudden theres only 3 days left. in those four days that disapeared i have done what i wanted. more specifically finish the first adventure for my characters so we can start, run a star wars gauntlet, and thats it. oh and maybe some home work. i did however get my last players character finished with him so they're ready. i could and should be working on that or homework now but i dont feel like it. ill get back to you guys tomorrow hopefully ill have somethin for you. |
| baneofkobolds02-21-04, 05:15 PM | i absolutely hate this. im in such a lazy mood i have no initiative to do anything and i mean anything except sit at the computer. its like my mind doesnt want to function right now. school starts again monday report due wednesday test sometime during the week arg i hope this ends or im screwed. |
| baneofkobolds02-24-04, 04:23 PM | This is off topic but id like ti to stay on the first page so people may at least glance at it because this weekend im going to do some actual D&D stuff. the rest of this week will be full of studying, homework, and mindless video gaming. a list is in my signature of the current games i am playing and Super Return of the Jedi is really getting to me. why? because i have enough time to get to the sail barge level but cant beat it. the only reason i cant beat it however is due to starting the level over with a death getting mad and turning off the game and due to my lack of brain at the moment i always forget to get a game over and write down the code. just felt like saying something. oh besides my campaign info i will hopefully post some ides of mine for adding star wars aliens and creatures to the game. this will however be limited to ideas and not working plans for im poor and am looking for a job to pay for the alien anthology. anyone with any thoughts, opions, or comments on the video game, D&D, or my star wars integration please share for these siple non-brain required post are keeping me sane and will be for the nxt few days. |
| baneofkobolds02-28-04, 03:18 PM | ok guys here it is its saturday and im pumped im all caught up in school, have nothing to do, made some money bought mEtroid: Zero Mission, beat the easy mode, thinking about starting over Metroid Prime since i never beat it bought got damn far, and finally am ready to work on D&D stuff. ill share a little of the campaign to begin soon there are three people who are going to play. theyll all start at level 4. first there is half elf half gold dragon who is a wizard/fighter 1/1 he doesnt have a name yet second is a paladin halfling 4 she also has no name yet. she has a pet riding dog that will become her special mount when aplicable finally is an anthropomorphic ram cleric 2 he has a name but it was thrown on on the fly and needs some....work. their adventures will bring them to find that someone or something is trying to release a great evil that was locked away many years ago by an army of resistence composed of many of the races and then some who destroyed and army of "special" goblins and one of kobolds each fighting against the other to be the only ones under this evil. with the mass deaths of these three armies and the destruction of such a power came an evil aura spread over a land. all that remains is a wasteland whose inhabitants are of unlife or pure evil. demons and devils alike share this as a home and it is not uncommon to find them fighting here. this wasteland is a place of evil and it has taken the work and cooperation of many to keep this evil within the wasteland. lately however something greater has been stirring..... thats the basic outline and i like keeping it as basic an outline as possible as i dont wish to fully plan everything but would like to have the world almost create itself based on the events that occur. anyone with ideas or comment or questions please share |
| baneofkobolds02-28-04, 03:46 PM | ive looked over what i had worked on over 2 months ago and i need to finish. its the adventure that brings the adventurers into the story. the adventurers live in the forest city of retrado. its is a city in the trees and underground. here lives gnomes, halflings, and elves as well has our adventurers. a psion in the city comes to the adventurers who have had their share of combat and ask them to go to the Caves of Psionic Bane. here in this secret to almost all area lies in protection the Anullus an artifact capable of absorbing all psionic energy in the area. through his connections the psion has heard of rumors that a group may be trying to steal the artifact to harness the powers it has absorbed for something. what that is is unknown but such a great item cannot be taken and the adventurers must go to the caves and look for any signs of trouble. many dangers lie in wait and the adventures must go and stop whatever evil is coming out of the shadows. unknown to the adventurers and to their old psionic friend is that the ogre mage and his band of kobolds stealing this item are working for the same evil a red great wyrm older than any would expect one to live by some unknown force. this dragon wishes to again unleash the evil locked away in the wastes of the Field of Thä'kär (pronounced ta-car) |
| baneofkobolds03-03-04, 02:21 PM | ok so i got back into doing stuff but im still not quite far enough to share anything else. hopefully ill finish theis adventure up and we can begin having sessions that i can share with you guys besides that i got nothing but id like to here from the rest of you if you have anything to share with people |

| baneofkobolds03-18-04, 09:05 PM | Damn teachers and their homework. I slacked that weekend two weeks ago in respect to my campaign and no am paying for it in excessive homework. This is unfair and i hope to all the gods that this weekend will prove somewhat D&D productive. I havent even had the time to see whats new in SWG with the Droid Invasion here. |

| baneofkobolds04-03-04, 06:32 PM | Procrastination (sp?) : nothing to fear but still my worst enemy. I am one of the laziest people that my friends know. I wait tll the last minute to anything. I had a 10 page paper due on tuesday and instead of at least working on it over the weekend before it was due I went to a Comic & Collectible Con and spent my time wishing I had those rare and expensive Star Wars figures to add to my collection. I did the whole paper on that monday after school and still pulled of a high C (surprizingly due to the dumbosity (new word) of the teacher). Anyway in terms of D&D because we have no set date on which to begin my campaign and no one really is in that much of a rush anymore and have completely given up on me getting ready....where was i oh yes due to no set date to begin im left to finish enough to begin for when i feel like doing it. And since i dont have to have this done any specific time i never get around to doing it although i have all the time in the world. But what they dont know is that once and a while i will randomly get the stuff out and look it over and think of stuff. My biggest issue is that i have to adjust stuff that i previously did and i hate that. Anyway this is one of those times. I took basically 3 free days to myself this week and the other two didnt do anything in school anyways so i dont feel like doing homework that im really behind on cause again im lazy like that. And megaman X4 is :censored::censored::censored::censored: :censored::censored::censored: me off cause Sigma (after phantom and such cause thats easy at this point) just wont die and im bored of SWG untill the next update. And as such i really need to do something and since i havent drawn that much in over a year which is dissapointing to myself i have decided to dig up a huge peice paper and draw out a map of my campaign world. Sorry for rambling on thats just the damn procrastination kicking in again. And again hopefull some developement will insue on my campaign that i can post. And all of you members to this foundation we need some ideas atleast even if no stats are posted. Slackers all of you even you typing this. (thrown in scitzo for the hell of it) |
| baneofkobolds04-03-04, 06:35 PM | sorry to post again so soon but why can i say hell but not the word spelled with a p than an i and 2 s and then the ed? |

| baneofkobolds04-07-04, 04:45 PM | thank you for all the names TEW. i used some and am now in the process of coloring the map. its very long and hard work. the map is over 2 foot square. it took 2 hours to draw 2 to place/come up with names, and 2 to ink. i have colored a small portion and that took an hour so i have at least 8 hours more before the end but i think it looks great. i wish i had a scanner i could post portions of the map to show all of you. |

| baneofkobolds04-11-04, 04:27 PM | *****Hello all newcomers!!! All previous pages are a waste of time to be looked at. Anything of importance there have been re-posted below. Feel free to skip to the latest posts as well as to look around at previous posts. All I ask of new members is to share and idea for an unusual or interesting PC or even NPC.***** I've decided to really develope some info on my campaign before beginning play and I am in need of names for groups of races instead of saying the like the orcs from the west i could have a specific name for them although statwise they are identical to the rest. so if anybody has any names i could use for different races from most any of the WotC guides up to the Fiend Folio since ive been too poor to buy another even though i really want one cause theres a bunch i dont have. anyway multiple name would help cause obviously ill have more than one group of many of them. |

| Finwe04-14-04, 11:55 PM | You now have somewhere to go! ;) Let me be the first to welcome you to the new Guild House, or foundations board. All it costs to stay here is to send a magic item worth at least 20,000 GP to each of your GM's (me, sil and orcy) once per month. Seriously: Welcome to the new board. You are now free of the shackles of having to stay on topic for the particular board you are in. Now you can role-play, discuss rules or just generally chat. Enjoy! |
| Silmarien Aldalome04-15-04, 12:38 AM | Greetings Kinsmen - welcome aboard. Looks like Finwe's been busy - here's an invitation to you to keep an eye out for a Foundation Council thread - where we're gunna toss ideas around to game-build with. regards to you all stav |
| baneofkobolds04-21-04, 11:24 AM | No one has posted since the move thats disappointing and TEW probably the only one posting at all. Well I'm going to work on something to post here today or tomorrow. Also instead of putting stuff about my campaign here I started a thread in Homebrew about it so please visit there and check it out the link is in my sig. What i make for here however probably wont be a charcter but maybe a tauric creature or something like that that could make an interesting character. (I need to print more character sheets) |
| The Ethereal Wickerman04-21-04, 11:50 AM | Come one people, there has to be someone whose played (or going the play) a weird character. Or just post some ideas you have... |

As the two gaze upon these strange half lizardfolk half actual lizard Arwaine explains what as been though to be a myth: The result of a rivalry between the Yuan-ti and Lizardfolk for as long as they have been on the Psionic Peninsula. “These are the Daretchim, a Psionic race of Lizardfolk and dire monitor lizard hybrids. In the wars between the Yuan-ti and Lizardfolk the Yuan-ti, being more evil than the Lizardfolk, used the captured to perform horrible experiments on the Lizardfolk. The results were the Daretchim. Not willing to fight for their creators against their own heritage the Daretchim escaped loosing many in the process. This escape proved to be of no use. As soon as the Lizardfolk saw these abominations they were shunned and even killed. “The few whom survived have formed moving bands and tribes using their inborn Psionic abilities and their great strength to remain a secret from the world.” “But now we know about them and what is to stop us from telling anyone.” And as Uli said this, the two looked up to see one of the Daretchim standing above them sending a telepathic message to the two, “Because you won’t remember any of this...” The Daretchim are a secretive yet peaceful race. After being outcast from their Lizardfolk kin they formed tribes deep with the warm tropical forests of the south. Soon the Lizardfolk that shunned them and the Yuan-ti who created them were all but destroyed all together in a massive battle. Few remember the Daretchim and even fewer have seen them. Still even less have remembered the encounter. Those who do befriend the Daretchim find that they are indeed peaceful wishing only to be left alone. The Daretchim live in tightly knit tribes of no more than 40 of them living together. These tribes stay on the move in the forest of their choosing to help keep from being seen and use their psionic powers to keep those who may discover them from doing so. Few venture off on their own but those who do are not to be angered. The Daretchim are 7-8 feet tall and over ten feet long due to a tail longer than their 6 foot long bodies. They have the torso, head and arms of average lizardfolk though their scales have reverted to a deep sapphire color. Their body is that of a dire monitor lizard whose scales are also sapphire. A Daretchim has strong legs and strong arms all containing razor sharp claws used only in self defense. Their tails are also used only in self defense but due to the strength of these appendages they prove useful in moving around their few belongings. The Daretchim have kept a dialect of Draconic, and also remember enough Yuan-ti to get by in a conversation. They are bitter enemies with the Yuan-ti for causing their banishment and speak the language only for any Yuan-ti to understand their threats clearly. The Daretchim are most friendly with woodland elves and centaurs although the races find them dangerous and not to be trusted. Humans, dwarves, Halflings, Gnomes, etc. are all unknown to most Daretchim and curious to these creatures when seen. COMBAT The Daretchim only fight when absolutely necessary to protect themselves. However, when Yuan-ti are encountered they become savage and barbaric killing all of the Yuan-ti they can catch. They don’t have any weapons and will almost never use them when offered. The Daretchim fight on the constant defensive rather running to live than staying to die. They use their inborn Psionic powers to disable most opponents and then wiping their mind leaving them with thoughts of only bad dreams. Psionic Powers (Sp): At will- monster domination, mind blank, teleportation circle, foresight, sequester, emulate power as 8th level Psion* Psionic Attack/Defense Modes (Sp): At will- ego whip, id insinuation, psychic crush, empty mind, thought shield, mental barrier* Telepathy (Su): Born in an area of high psionic use and the result of psionic Yuan-ti experimentation the Daretchim have a way to communicate with any creature greater than that of most innately psionic creatures. This telepathic link cannot be answered and only extends 150 feet but there are no language barriers. Trip (Ex):A creature hit by a Daretchim’s tail slap is subject to an immediate trip attempt by the Daretchim. This is a free action that doesn’t provoke and attack of opportunity. *uses Psionics Handbook |
| The Ethereal Wickerman04-22-04, 05:17 AM | Intresting race BOK, it's about time we had a non-evil reptilian race, as well as something related to Yaun-Ti!.:D Im planning a campaign world based or modern art and post-modernism with good old DnD fantasy elements. I need some races, and I dont want Elves and Dwarves, etc. The settings gods are going to be based on real-life Artists, so Aderan (based on Bas Jan Ader) is going to be the deity of Grief and Tears, Quinnarc (Marc Quinn) the deity of blood and the body, Boycenia (Sonia Boyce) the godess of inter-racial love, etc, etc. Based on the kind of art and themes they've produced. I'll post more ideas soon.. |
| baneofkobolds04-22-04, 08:12 AM | very nice im glad you like it. I thought it was about time to make a peaceful reptilian race as well. |
| Zat04-22-04, 12:13 PM | Lizard folk are mostly peacful as long as you don't **** them off. But, then again, who doesn't **** off lizard folk? |

Hey, here is another one I just made up. It's a 5-headed Laernan Cryohydra, who has mastered fire magic to kill white dragons, his sworn enemies. After all, if dragons are spellcasters, then why not hydras? By Bjorn The Wanderer Over the weekend I started back to my campaign with my reworked anthro ape, now as a monk rather then a sorceress. He also carries a deck of many things. He also enjoys polymorphing enemies into hampsters and the he gets out the cage. muahahahahaha! Save of 25 for that and higher for his enchantment spells. He has spell and greater spell focuses in enchantment. He also has far too many skills to list. By Daeri Maer'jiir Dregh Personality Dregh are always curious of their surroundings, which means they can live very adventurously, however they are shy in company. | The Ethereal Wickerman04-24-04, 02:18 AM | I've decided to really develope some info on my campaign before beginning play and I am in need of names for groups of races instead of saying the like the orcs from the west i could have a specific name for them although statwise they are identical to the rest. so if anybody has any names i could use for different races from most any of the WotC guides up to the Fiend Folio since ive been too poor to buy another even though i really want one cause theres a bunch i dont have. anyway multiple name would help cause obviously ill have more than one group of many of them. Well it depends on what your Races are like, culturally I mean. For example if your Orcs are savage barbarians as usual, give them savage names... Taruk Gorkata Rakka etc, etc... And to make them genetically different from one another. So the Taruk are the shortest, with grey skin and thick, curly hair. The Gorkata have much darker skin, the tallest but they have softer features. The Rakka has dark grey skin (not as dark as the Gorkata though), small eyes and slimmer physiques. Its just little differences like that that can determine your origins, whether you be Human or Orc. It can done with any race, just take Human racial-groups and apply them to other races... White Elves - Pale and fair skinned, soft-bright eyes and features Black Elves - Half-caste skin tone, large soft-dark eyes and expressive lips Oriental Elves - Very pale and fair skinned, long hair, shorter stature Aboriginal Elves - Dark-skinned, slightly more weathered, but much softer features than a Human aboriginee etc, etc... See what I mean, easy peasy. As for names, heres a short list you can use... Orcs Vagar - White Orok - Black Yaki - Oriental Paraku - Aboriginee Elves Tavenestali Jeyusaliney Warashilinu Koronaliserai Dwarves Thrudjelmer Cogontu Rashito Bunyiga You see the pattern forming now?...:) |
| The Ethereal Wickerman04-24-04, 03:24 AM | Originally posted by baneofkobolds very cool I'd to know more about these ones: Vakandor - Orange humanoids with 4 spidery-legs and exoskeletons El'qwi - Spike-haired, small elephant-like people Brazagian - Brown-skinned spiny 6-eyed people Sure, hopefully i'll have pictures uploaded of all the race skecthes I did, all 60 of them!...:D VAKANDOR Vakandor are a race of mercenaries, selling their services to the sides that can pay the most. Although they loath the Law, they see themselves as outsiders to moral debate. Vakandor are normally quiet and patient, but this doesn't mean their compliable. They are not beings that like to be told what to do. Since many of them are mercenary warriors, they can get argumentive with employers who are trying to give them orders outside the deal. Despite their short-fuses they are relatively calm and docile creatures until battle commences. Although most of their Agression come in the form of words, they can back it up with fighting prowess. Vakandor stand about 5 ft. tall though their 4 long spidery legs are quite wide, strecthing about 5 ft. from each side. Their bodies are covered in a thick-exoskeleton giving them a somewhat crab-like appearance. Their bodies range from many shades of Orange and Red, mixtures of the two, and even some cases of Vakandor being bright Yellow or Ochre in color. They have 3 surprisingly long fangs at the front of their mouth and small bony plates on their arms, chest and legs. Males are 2 pairs of Horns, including a large pair that stick out like conical from their temples, and a smaller darker pair that curve just in front of the larger horns. Females only have the smaller pair, but they are longer and more ram-like. EL'QWI El'qwi live in a culture that promotes honor and happiness. They believe in promoting peace and friendship with other nations, they never wage war on another nation unless doing so is necessary to protect their lands and their heirachy, whom they respect deeply. This because those born into the heirachy supposedly have a spark or their gods power. Whether this is true or not, the Kings and Queens of the El'qwi (males and females being equal in their society) live up to this legend with charming personalities and great faith. El'qwi are friendly and gentle beings, even the prisoners they capture from wars are treated fairly. However El'qwi do have deep sense of veangence and honor, and muderers in their society are treated with unparraled anger from the whole El'qwi community. They do believe in the executing criminals however, they instead exile the murderer and say that if he or she ever returns the land, the populace can drive you out using whatever means necessary. Being exiled is a terrible fate for most El'qwi, as they have an innate sense of community and ties to heir land. Being forced away from it to them is like having a limb removed. El'qwi stand a head shorter than the average Human, but they are stockier and have thick frames. They are substantionally chubby creatures, as they enjoy eating lots of vegatation and fish. Their skin is the color and texture of Elephant skin, ranging from silver-grey to darker-shades to almost being black. They have large, expressive eyes that tend to be hazel or maroon in color. Their noses are slightly longer that a Humans, and it looks more like elephants trunk than a humanoid nose. Their oddest feature is their tall, spiny hair that tends to be navy or blue-grey to color, though there have been cases of El'qwi with Cyan colored hair, light colored-skin and red eyes. Males have two small tusk-like spikes that jut out from each side of their chins. Males take pride in these tusk's like a Human would a beard, the bigger the tusks the more attractive they are to the females. BRAZAGIAN I haven't got much info on these guys yet, but what I can tell... The females are fairly taller than humans, the males substantionally smaller. The females of the species are much bigger and stronger than the males, and they covered in spines and have big, bony crests on their heads. The males are smaller but smarter and more personable. The spikes have flattened into smooth scales, their crest's have developed into a long flap of skin that resembles long hair. No matter what gender they are, they have no teeth, instead the spikes have replaced their lips. They have 6 eyes. |
