A small sign is placed next to a large door. It Reads:

Welcome traveler to The Realms of the Gods. Here is where the gods themselves come to talk, plan or just relax. One day you may find your way into these hallowed halls until then entrance is denied.

As you stare, reading the sign in awe, a god carrying a silver and green sword walks past you and opens the door. You try the same yet the knob is unable to be moved.

Inscribed into a stone tablet hanging on the wall to the left of the door are the names of the Dieties and Gods of this world.

As you finish reading the names of the gods you notice another sign containing the rules and laws of godhood.

Divine Actions

We also have a Pantheon, which you may end up on. If you dare to challenge one or several members of the Pantheon and win, you may join the ranks of the Divine. Or, alternatively, you may attract a member of the Pantheon to you, through outstanding acts of courage, glory or self-sacrifice. If you are unlucky or recklessly use your Major Artifacts or extremely high powers, you may find a Deity comes after you. If you lose in a combat with a Deity, you are then at The Deities' Mercy. But, if you win, you too, could join the Ranks of the Divine, and host a Plane at The Pantheons Foundation.

Posters have large amounts of discretion (choice to act as you please) available to them with Divine Actions.

1. Battle Player-to-Deity
2. Rewards a Player Character with Divine Ranks for outstanding glorious acts
3. Punish a Player Character for Wreckless use of Power
5. Try to Block the use of a mortal's or Foundation's power

The only other kinds of Actions that we have are Divine Actions. At the beginning, the GM's will assist here, by posting Divine Actions. BUT - *any* player may accumulate Divine Ranks, and join in the freedom to post Divine Actions. But Divine Actions aren't posted liberally. A GM can overule a Divine Ranks post, if refereeing is required.

Well done Necro!!

To answer your question - not necessarily Faerunian -

Let's see what the others think.

Pantheons obviously can't be restricted to Faerunian given the span of the Foundations. Looking good necro, but I'd edit your post to say "Player to Deity challenge" rather than "Battle Player to Deity" - it could be that a deity will challenge a mortal upstart in similar fashion to Greek mythology; i.e. they have to clean out all of the stables of whatever that horsey-place was in a single day.

If the judges and Gamemasters are gonna be gods, I suggest Sil be the Goddess of the Elves. She knows Elves better than anyone I've ever met, and she can describe things in such a fluid manner. She'd be perfect for the part (I'm mostly worried of the the Deity of the Elves because I'm an Elf, but I guess we should be working out the other Deities as well).

The planetouched want a personal deity, just to mention it.

So, what are the names of the Deities and Gods?

One question: Lets say player X gains divine rank. What porfolio does he got? Can he choice his own? Lets say player x defeats god Y does player X get god Y's abilitys?

Also - Have we agreed yet that only the Judges and Gms are being gods in the begining or not?

Lastly - For my porfolio, if judges are gods, I pick Kings and Oaths.

Being that I am a foundation "leader" and the fact that I am possibly starting off as the neutral high-king it just seems appropriate. Of couse "king" only refers to mortals or non-deities, I'm not trying to see King of the gods.

I can't remeber where I said it but I asked if we could make it part of the game where anytime someone swears a verbal oath or writes a written contract in my name then I could go Silmarilian(sp)/Mythology/[Insert other ]/ect and enforce those laws.

Prehaps thats stepping out of line too much and/or abuse of powers but I think it would be interesting. However a crafty guild leader would set a time before an alliance contract becomes null, just in case.

However if I am to do this I want to have like full power to enforce it so that people take it seriously. This will both stop people from doing it all the time and stop people of requiring this kind of oath for everything.

Its up to the people,
