| Sssargoth08-27-05, 01:03 AM | I noticed that the old thread was getting dangerously close to the 1,000 post marker, and subsiquently being pruned, so here we are again. Hopefully I will have something for a description of the main hall here this time. I'll do that later. If you need to RP for any reason please use Red text, and anything else in the normal text color For a complete list of rules that are specific to the foundation boards click here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=221394) , and if you are looking for the CoC it's in Cabo's sig on the page that I have linked. I do have aditional rules for this foundation that can only be superceded by the employees of Wizards, the WizO's, the other Game Masters, and on specific occasions the Scribes if they make a valid point. My rules are: 0. These rules can only be superceded by the employees of Wizards, the WizO's, the other Game Masters, and on specific occasions the Scribes if they make a valid point. This, as you can tell is rule zero, since this is the second time i've put it down 1. The opinions in this foundation are exactly that: Opinions. If anybody dose not respect others oppinions, and voices that fact, I will concider it flaming 2. NO flaming. I will personaly attempt to stop flame wars when I think 1 is starting, unless a WizO or GM gets to it first. 3. Do not put your member number in your sig. just put in your request and put Psionics foundation member in your sig, and your an official member. the number in the Member List is only for refrence of who posted in what order, mostly for my benifit. 4. Have fun, and play nice 5. DO NOT EAT THE BLUE GOBLINS NOW, for the moment you've all been waiting for! The Member List: 1)--Foundation Leader and Thread keeper Sssargoth, the PsychoDragon 2)--The genocidal dragon turalisj 3)--True Mind Switcher and Psychic Chirurgeon Shandrakor 4)--The Trancendant Mind Kildor 5)--Myrdinn 6)--Resident Squidface bgt The Crystal Library (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=7100618&postcount=9) 7)--Crusading Wilder cvazi 8)--Mindthrasher thasis 9)--Bacris 10)-Tempist Stormwind 11)-The Astral Wayfarer Disposable Hero_ 12)-Mind over Monk valhiem 13)-The Awakened Mind Konphujun 14)-Keeper of the Cerebro-Enhance-O-Tron GFC_Seracule 15)-Grand Master of Soulknives cloud__1 16)-The Dreamer of Dreams The Vorpal Tribble 17)-Forged Fabricater JesteroftheDeep 18)-Grand General of the Psionic Army Solmund 19)-Disciple of the Mind's Voyage HauntedHeaven7 I would request that anyone wishing to remain a member to please post here. | Shandrakor08-27-05, 01:43 AM | I claim membership & old title! Here's the Library 'just in case'; I'm hoping bgt has a properly formatted copy :D Psionic tattoos This subject was investigation in how the different races would make the tattoos, rune, lines, pictograms etc etc. What we have so far: De Batavier Dwarfs: runes Dromites: strange alien like symbols Half-Gaint: rather crude symbols. Half-orc: warpaint like tattoos. Goblins and Blues: small and hidden designs to reflect their sneaky nature From a post of Shandrakor in which a removed non-essential parts Dwarves runes elves asthetically pleasing shapes and forms that have no relation to any actual meaning. Humans pictograms directly tied to the function of the power. Gnomes would use odd shapes; halflings would use little tiny drawings. Githyanki would use bold, powerful and sharp-edged figures; Githzerai would prefer softly curving, subtle figures. TK ones would be...rather difficult for non-TK to understand. Maenad tattoos would be all sparkly; Xeph ones would be pretty, but rather hastily drawn. Elan would use timeless, classic shapes, perhaps geometric in nature. Dromite tattos would, IMO, be the coolest of all, as they would be scribed in the colors/with identifying marks of the caste that created them. Thus one could easily tell the difference between tattoos scribed by members of the Fire, Ice, Glimmer, and Voice castes. As to which would be most visually appealing...I'm as-yet undecided. Dreamless Telepathy (Compulsion) [Evil, Mind-Affecting] Level: Telepath 4 Display: Mental Manifesting Time: 1 Range: Medium (100 feet +10/level) Target: One living creature Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Will negates Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: 7 The subject's brain functions are subtely altered so that the target cannot achieve a dream state. He is able to sleep, but not dream, allowing the use of related spells and psionics against the subject, but the subject themselves are unable to use psionics or magic the next day without their much needed mental downtime. All ability damage caused by this cannot be healed naturally until the subject gets a good night's sleep. Dreamless cannot be dispelled, for a change is made directly to the workings of the brain itself, causing an extended condition. This affect can be removed by psychic chicurgery, reality revision, and similiar effects. Restoration, Heal, Greater Restoration, Bend Reality and Limited Wish remove the affliction. This can only be used if the subject is awake. A second usage of this ability restores the brain to proper balance. Over 8 days, the subject suffers more and more severe reprocussions from the lack of healthy sleep. Subjects that don't dream are unaffected by this power. Those who meditate instead of dreaming are still affected as they are blocked from the neccessary subconscious interaction to refresh themselves. First day: The subject becomes edgy and tired, resulting in a the loss of a point of both intelligence and wisdom. (Int -1, Wis -1, Cha -0) Second day: The subject's adrenaline tries to make up for the lack of sleep, resulting in a +1 bonus to constitution and reflex saves. The mind however is even more weary, resulting in the loss of an additional point of intelligence and wisdom. (+1 Con, Int -2, Wis -2, Cha -0, +1 Reflex) Third day: The subject's adrenaline high wears off, and their entire body is weary with fatigue, resulting in 2 points of constitution, strength, dexterity damage. The subject also takes a -2 penalty on reflex saves. An additional point of intelligence, wisdom and charisma is lost. They also take a -1 to all skill checks. (Str -2, Dex -2 Con -2, Int -3, Wis -3, Cha -1, -2 Reflex, -1 Skill checks) Fourth day: The subject becomes both fatigued and shaken. Two additional points of intelligence, wisdom and charisma are lost. They also take a -2 to all skill checks. They also start to see things that are not there or feel sensations that do not truely exist. (Str -2, Dex -2, Con -2, Int -5, Wis -5, Cha -3, -2 Reflex, -2 Skill Checks, Fatigued, Shaken) Fifth Day: The subject becomes exhausted. Two additional points of intelligence, wisdom and charisma damage. They also take a -4 to all skill checks. They are continuously in the grip of illusions. The subject will panic once every hour unless they make a successful will save (DC 12). (Str -2, Dex -2, Con -2, Int -7, Wis -7, Cha -7, -2 Reflex, -4 Skill Checks, Fatigued, Shaken) Sixth Day: The subject must make a Will save (DC 10) or go insane. They also two additional points of intelligence and wisdom, and two points of charisma. (Str -2, Dex -2, Con -2, Int -9, Wis -9, Cha -9, -2 Reflex, -4 Skill Checks, Fatigued, Shaken) Seventh Day: The subject must make a Will save (DC 10) or go insane. Even if the save is made they are reduced to a gibbering wreck, unable to act in any way and are considered helpless. (Str -2, Dex -2, Con -2, Int -9, Wis -9, Cha -9, -2 Reflex, -4 Skill Checks, Fatigued, Shaken) Eighth Day: The subject falls into a coma, and dies 2d4 hours later, no will save. Augment: Augment: For every additional two power points spent this power affects another target, and the manifestation time increases by 1 round. Storm Cloud. Homebrew feats Brain virus [psionic] You can charge your brain with powers. Preq: manifester level 3, you must know at least one telepathy power Benefit: You may create a virus in your brain fluids. This virus is created by manifesting a power, paying all the necessary pps. The power manifested may be any power that effects a single target. As soon as any creature comes in contact with the inside of your skull, or tries to manipulate your brain, the virus becomes active and will attack the creature. If the power normaly allows a save the DC of that save increases with + 4. Crystallising focus [psionic] Using it's focus you can heal a part of your psicrystal Preq:psicrystal containment Benefit: You can expand the focus contained by the psicrystal to heal/repair it for 1 point of damage. This can be done 1 + your class primary ability modifier times a day Focused Haul [Psionic] You are able to keep the perfect muscle arrangement while carting heavy loads, spreading the weight evenly across your form. Prerequisite: Str 14, Endurance Benefit: As long as you are psionically focused you add 20 pounds to your carrying capacity for light, medium and heavy loads. [Perfection of Motion [Psionic] Your movements are completely poised and strictly controlled. Prerequisite: Dex 14, Balance 5 ranks Benefit: As long as you are psionically focused and not wearing medium or heavy armor, you gain a +10 bonus on your balance checks. Rejuvenating Trance [Psionic] You exchange sleep for meditation. Prerequisite: Mind Over body, Psionic Body Benefit: While you are psionically focused you may substitute sleep for eight hours of watchful meditation. This allows you to recover PSPs and hit points as quickly as if you were sleeping. You achieve a state of deep concentration, in which you focus and regain your energies. You are still conscious and aware of your surroundings, so do not suffer any penalties on surprise or initiative rolls, and you are not helpless if attacked. You still can't expend PSPs, however. Normal: Eight hours of restful sleep is required to regain PSP's and heal at an optimal rate. Keep the stone alive preq: encode stone, psycraft 5 Ben: With this feat a power from a powerstone can be manifested without flushing it from the powerstone. To manifest the power the manifester pays all cost +2 extra pp (to save the power from flushing). Normal powerstones usage rules must still be followed Crystal linked construct preq: psicrystal, astral construct power Ben: With this feat a manifester can imbed his psycristal in an astral construct he creates. The constructs duration will become untill dismissed or when it is destroyed. As long as this construct excist the manifester can't create an other astral construct Other Stuff in the Library Items: Gauntlet of Mind over Matter Improved Gauntlet of Mind over Matter Restoration Chamber Classes: Redactor-Coercer Psion Psychic Acrobat The Ever Rising The Ectoplasmic Harvester Artifacts: The Nexus of Power Critters: Brine Treader-Darkwater Fungus Dragon Uncarnate-Insomnius Resonance Raven Salikaa Cirripedian Ssi't'ssi Swarmers Neural Putty Disciple of M'tu Dream Guard Gilga T'gelli Duskwing Swarm Fevercramp Flies J'marlik Karibbi Man Who Wasn't There Padaelias Torrga and Torrgan Starets T't't Woman In Black Gods: M'tu[/QUOTE] Yet more psionic goodness: Mind Melody (Ps): The mindsong is an odd malady that is picked up after telepathic discourse with a mind much more powerful than the subject's, leaving a sort of psionic ringing in the mind that disrupts telepathic communication. It is also passed by telepathic contact with one suffering from this affliction. The first day it takes three extra power points to use any kind of telepathy. The second day twice as many. The third day a player must use up every one of their allotted psionic points to attempt or hear even the briefest message. After three days of this, the ringing forms into a melody that starts to play in the subjects mind. Most of those whom have had this have mentioned that the tune is almost always lovely beyond words. However, every day for the next week it grows louder and louder. The first day of the melody the player is telepathically deaf, and cannot send or receive. It hits its peak at the eighth day of the illness, where the melody is so loud that they cannot even hear normally, and no psionic abilities can be concentrated on. This last for two solid days before slowly becoming softer, reversing the effects until no song is heard, only a ringing, and then this to disappears at the end of the second eight-day. All in all this mental malady takes 18 days to disappear after contacting. While ringing the subject takes a -2 to concentration and listen checks. While the melody plays the subject takes -6 to concentration and listen checks. At peak no concentration, listening or psionic abilities is possible, even with the Unconditional Power feat. A second bout of this disease leaves a subject partially psionically deafened, causing a permanent doubling of psionic points to use telepathic powers and they act as if Dazed during the peak two days. A third bout leaves the subject permanently telepathically deaf and they act as if Insane during the peak. A fourth bout leaves the subject permanently insane as the melody continues unabated. It can be cured by Psychic Chirurgery, but the manifester has a chance of contacting the malady in doing so (a roll of 1 on a six sided die means it has spread to the manifester). Reality Revision can also cure the mindsong. | Klidor08-27-05, 11:29 AM | I do't know if we can, but is there a way to thread or link this thread to the D&D psionics discussion message board? Its a pain to have to travel to the guild house to check this board. Just wondering. P.S. membership and title in the sig. |
| Sssargoth08-27-05, 12:49 PM | I could ask one of the WizOs if it can be done if you want, but I doubt they can. Even if they could I doubt they will. |
| De Batavier08-27-05, 01:09 PM | Greetings. Smart move to make a new thread before the 1.000 posts ;) You could ask Mark at the psionics part of the board to put a link to here in his master index, it's the only sticky of the psionicboards. |
| Myrdinn08-28-05, 05:32 PM | A grey robed half elf enters the psionics guild. Two crystal swords cross on his back, ioun stones circle his head and a cat walks at his feet. He approaches Sssargoth and bows saying "I come to request entry to your guild. My field of expertise is cerebremancy" |
| Hercy08-28-05, 09:05 PM | The sound of shattering glass suddenly reverberates through the air, carrying with it a shrill, high-pitched aftersound. It is unpleasant, and it implies discord through its essence, and is like the unravelling of order and predictability. Somehow though, the disorganised sound also carries with it the promise of adventure. You are reminded of leaving home for the first time, alone, when you first faced the wilderness, with a winding path that unfolds before you, leading you to far away places. The air shimmers, at about a height of 15 feet, above Lord Sssargoth's head. Sensing your discomfort, you suddenly hear laughter. In an eruption of power, and surge of sound, a parchment materialises and falls at your feet. The far away places of both the ally and the enemy are all about you. Without your knowledge, Order and Disorder meld into the vastness of the Otherworld. And in their footsteps, see the echo of your own choices. When The Walker, The Silver Warrior and The Living Fire are in conjuction, either you will understand how to find and use the Psionic Crest of Enternity or else you and your Order will vanish from the face of the planet. |

I'm horribly uncreative with names, too... For instance, I've used Tempest Stormwind for two-thirds of my life. At the same time, though, I DO have a minor in cognitive psychology, so I should be able to find a nametype soon, barring suggestions. By the way, I seem to recall that the Crystal Linked Construct feat was expanded from that one on the boards -- I did a full expansion of it that included psicrystal personalities as part of the design. I can't find it anymore, though.... |

| HauntedHeaven710-22-05, 03:30 AM | I must inform everyone of the amazingness! we have a high developed world, and to be quite honest i wanted to bring psionics. My dm supported me but i would have to do it in a flavorful way, since he honestly likes psionics. you guys will like this its....inventive, and we are forming it as we go. The art of the Psionic is refered to as a Gypsy "Trick" within the world, as all gypsys are inheirently psionic. Since i have to hide them as being a trick rather than, iinborn power it makes it interesting to manifest. to do mind thrust i hold my dagger and go "watch the blade!" and fake throw it, and manifest mind thrust as i do it. The trick where i hit you without releasing my dagger. To use energy ray one takes out a piece of colored glass of the according type and melts the "focus" in his hand, or shatters it, or destroys it overall as he casts. i have said "I will now climb up an invisible tree", when i did levitate, acting as i was climbing as i rose up into the air. People sometimes question the truth behind my tricks, wondering if it really is just a trick. One time when i town a caravan of my people arrived and i found solace within fellow tricksters, who aided me in disguising my art. Its a gigantic charade, the gypsy people hide their powers and use them for all their variety of tricks from the fire breathing man (kineticist), the acrobat (egoist), and even the fortune teller (seer). We are building psionics in a midevil europe like world through the gypsys, adapting the base psionic system to this world! After all in the time period people who's powers werent explained (arcane or divine) were branded as witches and killed by the inquisition of the two major churches. People like psionics and warlocks are the outcasts of society, warlocks the loners while psions allying and disguising their powers to live in peace. I must say, i am VERY pleased with this, its an interesting twist and overall it just increases the quality of the game. And besides, gypsys are cool. |

Or better, what did you want it to be statted out as, a monster? special material? universal item? Edit: just going to toss some ideas around Living Crystal - Special Material Living crystal is a very rare form of crystaline psionic organism. Living crystal is morphic in nature, possessing the durability of a crystal structure combined with the ability to reshape itself to suit its whims. Weapons and Armor crafted from living crystal can be communicated with by psionic creatures by resonating with the crystal structure, and can be convinced to reshape themselves to suit the purpose of the wielder. A psionic character may spend two power points to convince the crystal to reshape itself, doing so takes a swift action. Doing so with a weapon grants the Morphic (underdark) and Sizing (complete adventurer) abilities to the weapon for one round. If this ability is used with an armor it allows the user to reshape the armor to fit while changing forms (via the metamorphosis power, polymorph spell, wildshape class feature or similar ability) instead of melding with the new form. Weapons and Armor crafted from living crystal cost an additional 1000 gp, and are treated as having a +1 market price ability when determining the cost of enhancing them through magic or psionics. Living crystal resists any attempt to be magically altered by beings that do not first communicate with it, and as such can only be enchanted by psionic characters who spend two power points per day in addition to all the normal costs for the item they are attempting to create. Living Crystal items have a hardness of 10 and 30 hit points per inch of thickness |

They appear as large, gnarled trees of fibrous dark-brown bark that twists and curves the entire length. In evenly spaced sections grows equally gnarled and twisting branches from which grow opaque crystaline leaves ranging from milky white to smokey black and all shades of brown and umber in between. The veins throughout the foliage is alight with a gentle glow that extends far beyond the growth itself. Though it appears at first to grow in a chaotic fashion, if one is to look long enough one would notice the inherent fractal pattern to the growth that holds from the tip of the roots to the spread of the leaves. Teaxi grow, not from seeds or clippings, but much as a mushroom, sending its tendril-like rootlets through the soil and gathering nutrients and moisture. Once it has the neccessary ammount it springs forth overnight into a half-sized sort of sapling that reaches full height within but a few weeks. They then continue to grow, but at a rate that approaches the geologic. All Teaxi are connected with one another, and form a collective, albeit minimal, intelligence. They grow only in places open to the outside air, yet dislike sunlight. Though they are not harmed by it in any way, they will not grow in sunlit areas. This leaves them as a rare plant that thrives only in the shade of the deepest rifts and overhangs. It is not certain how they came into existence, but most believe they were a breeding project by the earliest Xeph ancestors. Teaxi share memories and sensations, but possess no real language. They stand some 20-25 feet tall on average, with a trunk about 8 feet in diameter. Combat: Teaxi are barely aware enough of their surroundings to even recognize a threat, though they sense the presence of all about them. They merely defend even if attacked, possessing little ability for offense. Upon being harmed they immediately attempt to heal themselves, unless of some power type upon which energy conversion comes to life. Upon taking damage of this type they release it back at their opponents. Deeplit (Ps): A teaxi's crystaline florage continously releases a soft, wan radiance that illuminates a 60-foot radius with the brightness of moonlight. Psi-like abilities: Continuous/Inertial Armor (+10 AC*), Touchsight; 3/day Body Adjustment (6d12*), Sense Link; 1/day Energy Conversion, Suspend Life Manifester level 8. Save DCs are Charisma based. * Includes augmentation for the creature's manifester level and Empower Power feat. Vulnerability to Sonics: A teaxi takes half again as much (+50%) damage as normal from sonics, regardless of whether a saving throw is allowed, or if the save is a success or failure. |

The crystal lattice that forms the creature resonates with psionic power, able to act depending on its shape as a conduit, storage device, or amplifier for psionics. Images (Sp): In addition to resonating with psionic energy, living crystals are capable of manipulating their forms to produce images of nearby creatures or objects. While the crystal stores at least one power point it can create a Silent Image of any single creature or object within the range of its blindsight assuming both the crystal and the object exist in at least shadowy illumination. The caster level for this ability is equal to the crystal's hit dice. Psychic Resonance (Su): The lattice like internal structure and morphic nature of living crystal allow it to function as a large neural pathway, storing and manipulating psychic energy. A living crystal acts in some ways like a cognizance crystal, able to store a number of power points equal to half it maximum hit points. While at its most basic level this psionic energy allows the living crystal to move and continue to live, many other abilities are powered by this energy as well. A living crystal that does not store any power points is inert, acting in all ways like normal crystal until a psionic being charges it with more psychic energy. This storage capacity grows when the living crystal gains hit dice through its resonant growth ability, but the crystal is incapable of recharging itself in any fashion, and can only regain power points if it is charged by a psionic being in the same way as a cognizance crystal is charged. Resonant Growth (Su): A living crystal may use some of the stored psychic energy to stimulate growth within itself and rapidly change its mass. By expending 5 power points as a full round action, a living crystal gains 1 hit die. The crystal may continue growing at this rate by expending power points until it runs out. The living crystal becomes large when it gains its 7th hit die, huge when it gains its 13th hit die, gargantuan when it gains its 19th hit die and colossal when it gains its 25th hit die. Psychic Lash (Su): When threatened a living crystal can release a lash of psychic energy to those around it, stunning them and draining any psionic talents they may have. As a standard action, the crystal eminates psychic static similar to a catapsi field in all directions, this ability has a range of 20 feet, this range increases by 10 feet for each size category the crystal has gained beyond medium size. Those within the blast must make a will save DC 14 or be dazed for one round. Psionic beings who fail their save lose one power point per hit die of the crystal. Using this ability consumes one stored power point per hit die of the living crystal. The save DC is charisma based. Psionic Field (Su): When the living crystal stores the maximum number of power points its capacity allows it reaches a perfect resonant state. During this time any powers manifested within the range of the crystal’s blindsight are considered to be 1 manifester high than normal for purposes of determining level dependant variables. Manifesters within this range who correctly identify the field and resonate with it may also count this bonus towards their limit for power points spent augmenting their manifestations. Identifying the field requires a psicraft check with a DC of 15 plus the crystals hit dice in order to both determine the nature of the field and the correct method of resonating with it. Ooze Traits: Living crystals possess all normal ooze traits accept for the mindless trait. Living crystals that store power points have minds and personalities dependant on both the amount of energy they currently hold and their internal shape and structure (psions familiar with living crystals have a slightly better appreciation for the phrase “getting bent out of shape”). Psionics: Living crystals may use the following psionic powers by drawing upon the power points stored within them as if manifesting a power from a cognizance crystal. The manifester level of these powers is equal to the crystals hit dice. Some of these powers can only be manifested by crystals who have gained sufficient hit dice (and thus manifester level) to produce them. All save DCs are charisma based. 1st level – Crystal Shard, Empathy 2nd level – Mass Missive, Swarm of Crystals 3rd level – Dispel Psionics 5th level – Catapsi, Power Resistance 7th level – Reddopsi Psi Like Abilities (Ps): At will – Detect Psionics, Detect Hostile Intent New Feats: Crystal Friend [Psionic] Though any psionic being may recharge a living crystal, only a select few have befriended them so well that they are permitted to draw from the crystals sustaining energy. Requirements: Manifester level 3rd Benefit: You have befriended one or more living crystal clusters, and they allow you to draw from their resevoir of psychic energy. You may treat any willing living crystal you touch as a cognizance crystal with a storage capacity equal to the crystal's storage capacity for power points and may manifest from this energy as though it were a cog crystal. Normal: Psionic characters may recharge a living crystal, but may not draw power points from it. Resonant Soul [Psionic] You have spent time studying living crystals and learned to master the use of their psionic fields. Requirements: Manifester level 7, Crystal Friend Benefit: You gain a +4 bonus to psicraft roles to learn the nature of a living crystal's psionic field. When you manifest powers within the field of charged living crystal you treat your manifester level as being 2 levels higher instead of one. |
| turalisj11-07-05, 02:32 AM | I'd say around cr 8. I'll playtest it in my game and see how it is. :) edit: you know what? maybe I should just fight it right now and see how it stands up. :D |
| psionic_viking11-15-05, 11:58 PM | Can I join? I could just use my username as a title, but that would be boring and unoriginal so I'll try to think of something better. Suggestion on living crystal as a material: I think giving it a self-repairing ability, like 2 hp per day, would be a good idea. Lastly (this is going to reveal just how new to the boards I am), how do you make your text red? |
| Sssargoth11-16-05, 12:06 AM | Lastly (this is going to reveal just how new to the boards I am), how do you make your text red? Just quote this post to find out. :D |
| psionic_viking11-16-05, 11:09 PM | sweet I almost have a charcter done and could use some suggestion for a title |
| gabrion11-16-05, 11:32 PM | sweet I almost have a charcter done and could use some suggestion for a title By "title" do you mean name, or a position like "Duke of Austria?" If you mean the former, then say a little bit about the character and I'm sure people could come up with suitable names. The thing is, I like names to correspond aesthetically with the character, so say a bit about this guy (or gal). |

| Sssargoth11-26-05, 02:45 AM | Sssargoth's shocking kiss Psychometabolism Level: Psion/Wilder 3 Manifesting Time: 1 standard action that includes the "touch" attack Range: Touch Target: 1 living creature touched Duration: 3 rounds Saving Throw: Will negates Power Resistance: No Power Points: 5 This power, which carrys it's creators name, was created by a psionic red dragon wyrmling that was considered somewhat crazy by red dragon standards, and barking mad by just about everyone else. He was determined to embarras a particular female humanoid at any cost, because she embarrased him. Being a psionic red dragon, well, this is the end result... You kiss the target full on the lips, which is considered a touch attack, to stun them for a short period of time while they attempt to convince themselves that they only imagined it happening. The experience is heightened by the psionic energy of the manifester. Often the target is mentaly scarred for the rest of their life and attempt to avoid the idividual that used this power on them, like the favorite nephiew of aunt Fannie. This is particularly useful when used on a member of an obviously different species, like a human and orc, or an elf and a dragon for instance. Creatures with an Intelegence score of 2 or less are not affected, and honestly, why would you want to kiss a mouse? Creatures of an obviously different species get a -4 to the save due to the mental shock of what happened. See above for examples, but what constitutes a different species is completely up to common sense and DM discression. On a failed save there is also a 60% chance of the experience being "burned" into the targets memory. The target will attempt to avoid the person that manifested this power on them, and must make a Will save in combat or take a -1 morale penalty to attack and damage rolls aganst the maifester. They do not get the -4 when making the save to negate the morale penalty to attack and damage. The target is not considered flat footed while stunned, as they are able to defend themselves. The target is stunned for 3 rounds. Rather fitting, doncha think? |

Looks like a fairly complete list right now, just thought I'd link it here in case any of you folks know of material thats still missing (or can recommend some other good 3rd party psionic material to list). Also figured it might be useful for some fellow psifans. |

| bgt12-22-05, 08:44 PM | Sorry I've been falling behind on my library duties. Here ya go: The Library Psionic tattoos This subject was investigation in how the different races would make the tattoos, rune, lines, pictograms etc etc. (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=5874789#post5874789) Homebrew feats Brain virus [psionic] You can charge your brain with powers. He probably spending to much time completing the new Minds Eye, I hope. :cool:Thanks for the help with that, I was getting close to a PM myself :D |

| Tempest Stormwind12-31-05, 04:13 AM | Figured since no one else has posted about it, I probably should. Many of you may already know about it, but several of you probably don't. The Society Mind (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=7311764) is finished. Primary authors are, in the order we formally joined the project, RadicalTaoist, myself, DrunkenEwok, and DisposableHero. Thematically, it's all about interconnections between beings, and getting greater wholes than the sum of their parts. It's about communication, coordination, and the big picture. It makes an entire party better at what it does. It's a new base class, aimed at filling a support role. It can also make a passable psionic healer without adding any new healing powers to the lists (it draws upon healing that the group already has and makes it more efficient). With the right skill selection, it can also make a reasonable nature-based psionic character, or the social psionic manifester. We even threw it against the Character Optimization gurus (aside: RadicalTaoist, DisposableHero, and myself are all veterans of that forum and knew what to look out for, and DrunkenEwok's a freakin' Jedi at writing rules lingo. A side effect of being veterans there is that other skilled optimizers listen when we speak, so several good minds turned to that topic.). After nearly a month, they still couldn't find a way to break the game with it. (Like much of psionics, it looks strong on paper until you realize exactly what you're dealing with, and then it just seemed to work). And despite being an apparently unbreakable support class, the most frequent response to it that I see is "I want to play one!" Also included in that class thread are two new feats, eleven new powers, and a new descriptor. There is also an included FAQ, expanded material (variant rules, two optional feats, an EPIC progression, three epic feats, and an epic organization), and more flavor than you can shake a very, very large stick at. I call this a critical success. I hope that you enjoy it as much as we have so far. |

| Dyne12-31-05, 07:07 PM | I'm working on making a generic Jedi Knight class based on the Psionic rules. The rules for Force powers in the Star Wars RPG are pretty lacking, and so many of the Psionic powers are pretty much the exact same as the Force powers we are familiar with anyway. |

Take soem of the best and worst features from each class (average bab, mostly mediocre saves, a mindblade, moderate hp, and a limited power selection somewhat matching that of the psychich warrior) I think I already got it figured out. It's gonna be similar to a Psychic Warrior and a Psion. Not Mindblade, though, lightsabers really do function differently. They are not proficient with any type of armor or shield. Armor of any type interferes with a Jedi's Force powers, making them automatically fail (no spell failure chance). Note that in special cases, some types of armor specifically designed for Force-users does not restrict the use of their Force powers, as mentioned under the armor's description. Force Powers: Wisdom is the most important ability for a Jedi's Force powers. A Jedi's Force powers function in a way very similar to Psionics. Refer to the Psionic rules for reference. Exceptions are as follows: -Armor restricts the use of Force powers completely. -Power Resistance and Force Resistance are separate, as they are from Spell Resistance. Power Resistance protects against Psionic powers, and Force Resistance protects against Force powers. -Some Force powers have a specific alignment (Light or Dark). The Light Side is the equivalent of Good, and the Dark Side is the equivalent of Evil. Jedi may not use a power of an alignment different from there own (Good and Neutral Jedi may not use Dark Side powers, and Evil and Neutral Jedi may not use Light Side powers). However, some Jedi may get around this restriction by using the MetaForce feat Balance Force. | Dyne12-31-05, 08:10 PM | Might lower the number of Force points they get, especially at higher levels. Also, need to add some more restrictions. 91 different Force powers isn't too bad, but almost all of them are lower level. There are only a handful of high-level Force powers. EDIT: Okay, I got it figured out. They have the same number of Powers Known as a Psion. However, the number of Force Points per Day is the average of a Psychic Warrior's Power Points and a Psion's Power Points. So, it should be "not too small, not too big." Now, just need to group the powers into Alter, Control, and Sense, and to pick out the Light Side and Dark Side powers. Shouldn't be too difficult. EDIT2: Decided against the Alter, Control, Sense thing. It's rather difficult to decide which powers would be under which category. Anyway, I believe it is complete. |
| RavinRay01-02-06, 09:29 AM | Well, li'l ole me's knocking on the door (more like bashing it with my head :banghead: ) asking you to let me in. Now for a title! I'm thinking of "Dragonmeister Disciple of Rerraclya". That name is taken from the Carnelian Dragon I created over at The Third Eye (http://kapsi.fi/blacksmith/TheThirdEye/index.php), Sardior's deputy to the subpsionic gem dragons. As you can guess, I'm crazy about gem dragons. The latest that I did is the list of powers and spells (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=561387). |

"I, the Healer of Broken Dreams petition to join this foundation. Any group could use somebody to heal the body as well as the mind." |
| MaverickWolf01-04-06, 11:14 AM | A young man, armor as dark as any shadow, steps into the main hall. As he lifts his head, his long hair falling across his eyes, a smile can be seen forming on his face. He'd been gone for some time, and he was glad to be home. Crimson blades appeared in his hands, chains running them back to his wrists, his grip on their hilts loose, easy. Electric blue flames licked the edges of these blades, a sharp contrast to the dark hues of his clothing and the blades themselves. It was good to be home again. Ah, I can't believe how long it's been since I've checked in here. Didn't even think about it after I came back from what ended up being a temporary stint in the military. Life's been nuts. But I'm back, and I've got a few psionic creations of my own, found within my sig. |
| Tenzhi01-04-06, 11:41 PM | Nope. Your going to make one tho, arent you... Yes. But I need to reference the actual Beholder file(s), which I can't do from work unless I remember to bring my book(s) along. I have a concept in mind, however, for a beholder that's slightly smaller than the norm and crystalline in appearance. Whether it will have the full 10 eyestalks or not I haven't decided. |

"Greetings," he says, "I am Kalriem, seeker of dark knowledge, and I come to join your prestigious organization." Hullo. Just wondering if I could join up. I've been thinking about it for a while now, but never quite got around to it. Anyway, I think that having a site like this: PsiWiki (http://psionics.wikispaces.com/) would be a great place to compile all the psionic stuff that has been created. :D Unless I'm too late, and you already have a site like that. In which case, simply whap me and call me an idiot... |
| Diplominator01-27-06, 07:31 PM | A tall man in a grey cloak enters, flanked by two bodyguards in matte black armor. All three appear to be unarmed, but the man in grey has a strange draw to him, an uncanny charisma that creates trust before he even speaks. When he does speak, his voice is calm and points to an inner wisdom, far beyond that of most men. He says, "I have come to join your potent council. I am the Changer of Minds, and these are my thralls." I've always liked Thrallherds. The Psionics Foundation has another member. |
| VonRaventheDaring01-30-06, 01:15 PM | Suddenly there appears a new face among the others of the guild hall. A tall (for a dwarf) dwarf with a blackish blue colored beard done in an elaborate coif reminisent of a lions mane, dark greyish colored skin, a bald head, and solid golden eyes that glow with an inner power reminding you of a powerful cat of sometype, steps foward. His robes are midnight blue hue, and they hang open revealing dwarven mail of an anchient make. The staff in his hands is a dark metal and has a hammer on top make to resemble a Lion's head with saphire eyes. "I come in the name of Auppenser god of psionics of the Realms to join ye's guild. They call me the Cardinal of the Deep. I am a master psion of the nomadic arts, and an elocater at your service." The dwarf bows with a flourish. |

Especially the great and powerful Sssargoth, as i hear your very talented at balancing stuff. I've been working on it for an evil minded psion. let me know what you think. Mind Seed, Dormant A modified version of the mind seed power, this power was created by a very dark hearted psion of the Telepath discipline. Telepathy (compulsion) [Evil, Mind-Affecting] Level: 9th Telepath Display: Mental Manifesting Time: 1 standard Action Range: Touch Target: One Medium or smaller humanoid (only Seven Dormant seeds allowed at one time) Duration: Instantaneous; See Text Saving Throw: Will negates Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: 17, XP See Text Just like mind seed you impress the totality of your psyche into a subject’s subconscious. If successfully impanted the seed of you mind germinates of the period of one week, however unlike mind seed this doesn’t have to take effect right away. You can delay the germinating of the seed until a time of your choosing (usually death), upon which it activates. Now the interesting things are that the caster of this particular spell knows instantly when one of his seven seeds has been removed. The germinating is as per the mind seed power, and the mind seed can be removed by psychic Chirurgery, reality revision, or similar high level effects. Although unlike mind seed, this is a direct transfer of your psychic which means that while there is an XP cost, there is not a level loss. In addition there is a percentage chance that every time you use this power you will develop a taste for it and become a psychic vampire. The XP Cost: 6,000XP per seed planted. **It should be noted that the individual that developed this power also developed a gem that would temporarily house his psychic essence till the new body was ready, and he there by lowered the XP Cost, and also created another new power in the process (see Essence Imprisonment) |

The psychic vampire is an individual who craves psychic energy/attribute points and basically your soul instead of blood. They have to have died by a energy drain, or are created via this power. The goal or ultimate thing is to drain powerful individuals who can cast or direct magical energy and psionic energy. |
| VonRaventheDaring02-06-06, 09:57 AM | Here you go Sssargoth i hope you like it, but feel free to tell me what you think k. Psyche/ Essence Imprisonment: Telepathy (Compulsion) [Evil, Mind Affecting] Level: 9th Telepath Display: Mental, Visual, Material Component (see Text) Manifesting Time: 1 Standard Action Range: Touch Target: One Touched Medium or Smaller Humanoid Duration: Instantaneous, until released or destroyed Saving Throw: Will negates Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: 17, XP See Text This psionics power is special in that it has several side effects not at first associated with the original power. The original purpose of this power is to imprison, or store someone’s soul/psyche, or essence. The material component is a purified gem, of 5,000 gp or more, by purification it is meant that a magically/ psionics method, or naturally flawless gem. The preferred gem types are sapphires, emeralds, and Jet. The soul or essence of the person is imprisoned in the gem by the Psion by touch. The only way to free the soul or essence from the gem is by the original caster freeing the soul, or by shattering the gem which then frees the soul or souls imprisoned with in the gem. The subject’s body enters a state of coma while the soul is imprisoned, and should be treated as if it were a dead body for all purposes. Divination spells trying to locate the soul, of the person will only show the color of the gem stone used, leaving one with a mystery. The soul is aware while imprisoned, and can be transferred to another body with out a soul, or returned to their own body. If returned to their own body after too long of a period they will be animating as an aware zombie, or skeleton. If the soul is freed within 24hrs the soul can re-inhabit the body with very little damage or problems. While the soul is imprisoned within the gem the body can be animated or control if one wishes. However the body will react to all spells like an undead and it will have no real living reactions treat like a undead golem. The soul can be questioned for knowledge and tortured in away as they can observe through the gem. However it should be noted that if a Psion or psionics individual is imprisoned they can attempt to take over anyone who attempts this as the powers of the mind still work to a limited degree. While a priest or mage would find they are almost powerless as they have not holy symbol or spell components to call upon. A gem can hold up to 1d4 souls or essences at one time, of course one can be freed, and others added as per the manifester’s choice. The XP cost for manifesting this power is 4,000XP for the gem preparation, and an additional 3,000XP for the manifesting of the power. You can also use the soul for other darker things such as Soul/Essence drain (yes another power to soon be presented!). |
| VonRaventheDaring02-08-06, 03:46 PM | Okay Sssargoth i hope you like these! Molecular Modification Lesser Metacreativity (Creation) Level: Shaper 3/Psion, Wilder 4 Display: Visual, Material Manifesting Time: 1 standard round Range: Touch Target: Touch Duration: See Text Saving Throw: (object) Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: 5 This a useful power used to modify something into a more pure form. This power is used to refine the materials that the manifester has on hand, into refined items. All the manifester has to do is have the imperfect of flawed item in his hand and concentrate on it. When successfully done the item will be a flawless or refined version of what ever it was. This power unlike the Molecular Modification Greater does not change the items type, just improves what it is. An Example is making a flawed and chipped sapphire 25gp, into a flawless and un-chipped sapphire 500gp. The value of the item is to be decided by the GM of course! Molecular Modification Greater Metacreativity (Creation) Level: Shaper 5/Psion, Wilder 6 Display: Visual, Material Manifesting Time: 1 standard round Range: Touch (See Text) Area: 1 cubic inch per/ level Duration: See Text Saving Throw: (object) Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: See Text This is a powerful and very useful metacreativity power. It modifies the molecular structure of an item to match that of another item that the Psion must be touching. Example Nnly has one gold coin, and several copper coins, using Molecular Modification Greater he can change the copper coins into gold coins, but he must be holding the gold coin upon manifesting of the power. The range for Molecular Modification is 1 cubic inch per level of the manifester. The Duration is limited to 5 minutes per level of the manifester. Now the power point cost is variable for example modifying something of the same type such as metal to metal costs 10 pp, the modification of something from non-organic to organic or cross type costs 20pp in addition to this to make the item permanently modified it costs and additional 10 power points. It should be noted that this power is and was never intended to be used on living subjects as a weapon. |
| The Vorpal Tribble02-11-06, 11:05 AM | Heyas, made this for an arctic campaign of mine. Not sure when I'd ever use it, but thought I might share. I'm wondering about the price though... -=-=-=-=-=- Glycerol Glands This is an extensive set of glands grafted along the limbs and body of the recipient. The hypothalamus, the portion of the brain that regulates body temperature, is removed and replaced as well. Now when the recipient is exposed to cold temperatures this triggers a reponse in the brain that causes the glands to produce a special substance that keeps the body from freezing. A recipient of this graft gains immunity to frostbite and may exist comfortably in conditions down to 0 degrees fahrenheit without having to make Fortitude saves. The recipient also gains a +2 bonus on saving throws against cold effects. In fact, if the creature possessing these glands fall unconscious from low temperatures he automatically stabilizes and instead goes into a state of suspended animation. For every year that passess only a day is experienced by the body of the recipient. It grows hungry after a "day" without food and begins to suffer the effects of thirst and starvation as appropriate. If the temperature around the body warms up to above 0 degrees the recipient awakes. This graft does not provide any level of resistance to cold damage. Graft Flesh, adapt body, suspend life; Price 10,000 gp |

Shadowblades are proficient with no armor, or with shields. Power Points/Day: A Shadowblade can manifest powers. His ability to manifest powers is limited by the power points he has available. His base daily allotment of power points is given on Table: The Shadowblade. In addition, he receives bonus power points per day if he has a high Wisdom score (see Table: Ability Modifiers and Bonus Power Points). His race may also provide bonus power points per day, as may certain feats and items. If a Shadowblade has power points from a different class, those points are pooled together and usable to manifest powers from either class. Bonus power points from having a high ability score can be gained only for the character’s highest psionic class. Powers Known: A Shadowblade chooses his powers from the psychic warrior power list. At 1st level, a Shadowblade knows one psychic warrior power of your choice. Each time he attains a new level, he learns one new power. A Shadowblade can manifest any power that has a power point cost equal to or lower than his manifester level. The total number of powers a Shadowblade can manifest per day is limited only by his daily power points. A Shadowblade simply knows his powers; they are ingrained in his mind. He does not need to prepare them (in the way that some spellcasters pre pare their spells), though he must get a good night’s sleep each day to regain all his spent power points. The Difficulty Class for saving throws against Shadowblade powers is 10 + the power’s level + the Shadowblade’s Wisdom modifier. Maximum Power Level Known: A Shadowblade gains the ability to learn one 1st-level power when he takes his first level in the prestige class. As he attains each level, a Shadowblade gains the ability to master more complex powers. To learn or manifest a power, a Shadowblade must have a Wisdom score of at least 10 + the power’s level. A shadowblade draws his powers from the psychic warrior list. Shadow speed (Su): A Shadowblade’s class levels act as (and stack with) monk levels for the purpose of determining his unarmored speed. His class levels do not apply to any other monk abilities. Ninja Training (Ex): Shadowblade class levels stack with ninja levels for the purpose of determining Ki Power and armor class bonus. Hide in Plain Sight (Su): A Shadowblade can use the Hide skill even while being observed. As long as she is within 10 feet of some sort of shadow, a Shadowblade can hide herself from view in the open without anything to actually hide behind. She cannot, however, hide in her own shadow. Sudden Strike (Ex): If a shadowblade can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage. Whenever a shadowblade’s target is denied a Dex bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dex bonus or not), the shadowblade deals an extra 1d6 points of damage with her attack. This increases by 1d6 points for every four shadowblade levels thereafter. A shadowblade can’t use sudden strike when flanking an opponent unless that opponent is denied it’s Dex bonus to AC. This damage also applies to ranged attacks against targets up to 30 feet away. Creatures with concealment, creatures without discernable anatomies, and creatures immune to extra damage from critical hits are all immune to sudden strikes. A Shadowblade can’t make a sudden strike while striking the limbs of a creature who’s vitals are out of reach. A shadowblade can’t use sudden strikes to deliver nonleathal damage. Weapons capable of dealing only nonleathal damage don’t deal extra damage when used as part of a sudden strike. The extra damage from the sudden strike ability stacks with the extra damage from sneak attack whenever both would apply to the same target. Shadowsight (Su): At 2nd level, a Shadowblade shadowsight. This ability adds 20 ft to her darkvision range, or gives her a darkvision range of 20 ft if she does not already have darkvision. It also allows the shadowblade to use her darkvision when she would normally be prohibited from doing so, such as in a cloud ofdarkness or even when blind. This ability is active only as long as the shadowblade is psionically focused. Uncanny Dodge (Ex): Starting at 2nd level, a Shadowblade retains her Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) regardless of being caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. (She still loses any Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized.) This ability is only active if you have 1 or more points of ki left in your ki pool. Insightful Strike (Ex): When a Shadowblade reaches 3rd level, she becomes able to place her attacks where they deal greater damage. She applies her Wis bonus (if any) as a bonus on damage rolls (in addition to any Str bonus she may have) with any weapon. This damage only applies to damage dealt by sudden strike. Targets immune to sneak attacks or critical hits are immune to the shadowblade’s insightful strike. A shadowblade cannot use this ability when wearing armor or using a shield, or carrying a medium or heavy load. Shadow Strike (Su): At 3th level and higher, the shadowblade can spend one daily use of her ki power to deal a shadow strike. This allows the shadowblade to drain the life force out of the target (in the form of levels) on a successful melee hit. A successful hit bestows one negative level on the target. The DC to remove it 24 hours later is 10+1/2 Shadowblade level+ Cha modifier. The shadowblade gains 5 temporary hit (vitality) points (or 1 temporary wound point) per negative level he bestows. Activating this ability is a swift action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity. This affects all attacks for a number of rounds equal to the shadowblade's Wis modifier. Acrobatics (Ex): Starting at 3rd level, and every 3 levels thereafter, a shadowblade gains a +2 bonus on Climb, Jump, and Tumble checks. Shadow Step (PL): At 4th level a shadowblade can use one daily use of her ki power to travel between shadows as if by means of a dimension door spell. The limitation is that the magical transport must begin and end in an area with at least some shadow, not including her own. A shadowblade can spend 1 point of ki to jump up to a total of 20 feet in this way. Every 2 levels higher than 4th, the distance a shadowblade can jump per ki use doubles (40 feet at 6th, 80 feet at 8th, and 160 feet at 10th). A shadowblade can opt to jump a smaller increment, but if she does the rest of the distance is wasted. For example, a 6th level shadowblade can spend 1 point of ki to travel up to 40 feet, but if she only travels 25 feet, the rest of the distance is wasted. Using this ability is a swift action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity. Evasion (Ex): At 5th level, a Shadowblade gains evasion. If exposed to any effect that normally allows her to attempt a Reflex saving throw for half damage, she takes no damage with a successful saving throw. The evasion ability can only be used if the Shadowblade is wearing light armor or no armor. If a character gains or has gained evasion from a second class, the character automatically gains improved evasion. Improved Shadow Strike (Su): At 6th level and higher the Fade instead bestows 1d4 negative levels instead of 1. He can also make a ranged attack (Close: 6m + 2m/2 lvls) that deals 1 negative level. Activating this ability is a swift action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity. This affects all attacks for a number of rounds equal to the shadowblade's Wis modifier. The shadowblade gains 5 temporary hit (vitality) points (or 1 temporary wound point) per negative level he bestows. Move Like the Wind (Ex): Starting at 7th level, a shadowblade can move stealthily even at a quick pace. He no longer takes a -5 penalty on Hide and Move Silently checks when moving at any speed up to his normal speed, and he only takes a -10 penalty (instead of a -20) on Hide and Move Silently checks when running. He takes the normal -20 penalty when attacking or charging. Greater Shadow Strike(Su): At 9th level the Fade henceforth can make a ranged attack (Close: 6m + 2m/2 lvls) that does his unarmed damage and deals 1d4 negative levels. Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 10th level, a Shadowblade can no longer be flanked. This defense denies rogues the ability to use flank attacks to sneak attack the Shadowblade. The exception to this defense is that a rogue at least four levels higher than the Shadowblade can flank her (and thus sneak attack her). If a character gains uncanny dodge (see above) from a second class the character automatically gains improved uncanny dodge, and the levels from those classes stack to determine the minimum rogue level required to flank the character. This ability is only active if you have 2 or more points of ki left in your pool. |
| Moriok_Mephidross03-05-06, 12:14 AM | Why exactly are those who have the greatest powers of the mind so silent in these Guild Wars? Shouldn't this foundation have half the world under it's mental sway by now and have the other half fleeing for their lives? |
| turalisj03-05-06, 12:17 AM | COMPLETE PSIONIC IS ALMOST HERE!!!! ONE MORE MONTH!!!! Sorry, couldn't resist. Finaly, psionics get healers to thier side. :D |
| turalisj03-05-06, 12:19 AM | Why exactly are those who have the greatest powers of the mind so silent in these Guild Wars? Shouldn't this foundation have half the world under it's mental sway by now and have the other half fleeing for their lives? As far as you know, we don't..... :shifty: But I'm going to have a ghaele for sure in the game, and perhaps a telepath, with the third being a dragon. |
| Sssargoth03-05-06, 12:23 AM | Why exactly are those who have the greatest powers of the mind so silent in these Guild Wars? Shouldn't this foundation have half the world under it's mental sway by now and have the other half fleeing for their lives? Well...Im not sure... Im sure business will pick up once Complete Psionics comes out though. Note to self: Make plans to rule the world... I need to update the member list too, now that I think about it. |
| Moriok_Mephidross03-05-06, 12:38 AM | I'll get a cattle prod ready if thats what ya need to keep things running here. This guild will be a powerful thing if used in these guild wars. Imagine... an army of Psions marching across a battlefield blowing the enemies to bits without even raising a hand... |
| turalisj03-05-06, 11:33 AM | That, and taking control of them as well as summoning an army of astral constructs. :D |
| bgt03-05-06, 12:43 PM | Note to self: Make plans to rule the world... <I shudder to think that you would follow in the example set by my kind, Sssargoth.> Count me in. I call dibs on Florida! I need to update the member list too, now that I think about it. I need to update the library too, now that I think about it. Probably get around to that tomorrow. |
| Moriok_Mephidross03-05-06, 02:54 PM | The world would tremble at the mere thought of psionic armies. Unless the GMs allow people to use that thing tha makes all psionics useless that was apparently approved. Who the hell let that one through anyway? |
| turalisj03-05-06, 02:55 PM | Count me in. I call dibs on Florida! I want all of europe then. |
| Moriok_Mephidross03-05-06, 06:23 PM | My vision for the Psionics foundation is having a ruling council. One member from each discipline of psionics would be on the council. Psychic warriors would be the primary grunts and military men. Soul Knives would be the strike force, assassins and that kinda stuff. Wilders would be... I don't know... support for strike forces and the rest of the Psionic army, possibly right up there with the ruling psion class. |
| thasis03-06-06, 12:21 AM | My good or neutrul character is going to be a psion. I havn't decided which. I think having a half-dragon psion might be pretty pointless in the next round however since the racial ECL will cover most of the levels and such a low-level psion might not be benificial so I think I'll have my neutrul character cover the psion. Anyhow, whoever I choose to be my psionic character for the new round will be a member here. I also have an aboleth psionic amplifying peice of magical armor that I worked up. I'll post it some time maybe. |
| turalisj03-06-06, 06:44 AM | *gets ready to turn enemies into crystalline statues* do'h, can't do that yet! *summons an army of astral constructs* |
| VonRaventheDaring03-06-06, 02:19 PM | I have to admit that i like the idea of world conquest i'll take new zealand if its open. I also think that the council has merit as we would need to cordinate all of our movements. Imagine the Nomads as the transporters of armies and strike forces, with Telepaths being scouts and relaying orders, Seer predicting attacks and forseeing sucess or failure. The shapers making weapons, and constructs. Ahh the beauty that will be to behold. |
| bgt03-06-06, 03:24 PM | The Library This subject was investigation in how the different races would make the tattoos, rune, lines, pictograms etc etc. Telepathy (Compulsion) [Evil, Mind-Affecting] Level: Telepath 4 Display: Mental Manifesting Time: 1 Range: Medium (100 feet +10/level) Target: One living creature Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Will negates Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: 7 The subject's brain functions are subtely altered so that the target cannot achieve a dream state. Metacreativity Level: 1 Psion/Wilder, 1 Psionic Warrior Display: Auditory and Visual Manifesting Time: 1 standard action Range: Personal Target: You Duration: 1 rounds/ level Power Points: 1 When Anvil Arm is used your arm is covered in psionic energy. This psionic energy then forms into a anvil shaped cocoon around your arm. You now have a natural attack on the arm of choice. The attack deals 1d12 energy damage and has a critical range of x3. The Anvil Arm counts as a +1 psionic weapon for when determining to overcome DR. Telepathy Level: 2 Psion, 2 Psionic Warrior Manifesting Time: 1 standard action Range: Close (25ft + 5ft/ 2 levels) Target: One opponent Duration: 1 round/ 2 levels Saving Throw: Will negates Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: 3 Gaze of Beast allows you to use a gaze attack against one enemy. That enemy, unless not applicable for a gaze attack, must make a Will save. If the opponent fails the Will save he is shaken for 1 round/ 2 levels. A modified version of the mind seed power, this power was created by a very dark hearted psion of the Telepath discipline. Now the interesting things are that the caster of this particular spell knows instantly when one of his six seeds has been removed. The germinating is as per the mind seed power, and the mind seed can be removed by psychic Chirurgery, reality revision, or similar high level effects. Although unlike mind seed, this is a direct transfer of your psychic, which means that while there is an XP cost, there is not as much of a level loss only 2 levels are lost. In addition there is a culmative 10% percentage chance that every time you use this power you will develop a taste for it and will become a psychic vampire (regardless of successful manifestation or not). The XP Cost: 6,000XP per seed planted attempted. Telepathy (Compulsion) [Evil, Mind Affecting] Level: 9th Telepath Display: Mental, Visual, Material Component (see Text) Manifesting Time: 1 Standard Action Range: Touch Target: One Touched Medium or Smaller Humanoid Duration: Instantaneous, until released or destroyed Saving Throw: Will negates Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: 17, XP See Text This psionics power is special in that it has several side effects not at first associated with the original power. You can also use the soul for other darker things such as Soul/Essence drain. Metacreativity (Creation) Level: Shaper 3/Psion, Wilder 4 Display: Visual, Material Manifesting Time: 1 standard round Range: Touch Target: Touch Duration: See Text Saving Throw: (object) Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: 5 This a useful power used to modify something into a more pure form. Metacreativity (Creation) Level: Shaper 5/Psion, Wilder 6 Display: Visual, Material Manifesting Time: 1 standard round Range: Touch (See Text) Area: 1 cubic inch per/ level Duration: See Text Saving Throw: (object) Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: See Text This is a powerful and very useful metacreativity power. Storm Cloud. As long as this construct excist the manifester can't create an other astral construct Other Stuff in the Library Items: Gauntlet of Mind over Matter (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=4452692&postcount=1) Improved Gauntlet of Mind over Matter (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=4476825&postcount=10) Restoration Chamber (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=4477194&postcount=1) This is an extensive set of glands grafted along the limbs and body of the recipient. Graft Flesh, adapt body, suspend life; Price 10,000 gp Living crystal is a very rare form of crystaline psionic organism. | Kalriem03-08-06, 10:46 PM | If I may tentatively make a suggestion, why not move the Library off site? Such as to a site like WikiSpaces (http://www.wikispaces.com/)? That way, it'd be easy to access, well organized, and augmentable by everyone. Not only that, but it could be augmented by psions who are not a part of our esteemed foundation. Plus, we would be spared the 5,000 word limit imposed upon posts. If it's any comfort, I already have a site devoted to Psionics (http://psionics.wikispaces.com/) , so we are spared the horror of the initial construction. Just a suggestion, though. :D |

| Eclipse Lutgehr04-14-06, 07:02 PM | Under the guild hall door a light fog quietly floats, coalescing into the discernable, yet still foggy, form of a young man with glowing eyes. Upon inspection, he appears to have short hair and is clean-shaven. Looking about, he appears to spot someone, and floats over to them with intensity in his manner. In front of Sssargoth this young man’s form solidifies and kneels. Appearing no more than 25, he wears well-crafted leather body armor, and a simple dagger at his belt. His neck betrays a colorful design, which is in actuality the beginning of several psionic tattoos that extend all over his body. Drawing the dagger from its sheath, the young man holds up a palm and slices the dagger across it, his glowing eyes looking directly at Sssargoth, “Greetings sire. I have traveled a great distance upon rumor, and would proposition to join your organization, now that I have finally found thee,” closing his hand, the young man’s eyes glow a bit brighter, and the blood ceases to slowly drip down through his knuckles, “I am known as The Ghostly Shade in the north, though my given name is merely Haldren. I specialize in the discipline of Psychometabolism, and would hope you have the room for another in your sect.” Well I guess that’s my formal way of asking if I might join. I’m basing the name off of a psionicist I played back in the days of 2e, and have yet to update to 3.5 (even though his primary power is still there, Ectoplasmic Form). He wasn’t all that high level-wise, but he was still a memorable enough character that I’d like his legacy to continue through here. I’ll try and post my creations at an opportune time. |

Thanks Hope you enjoy :coolcthul Attribute Siphon Psychometabolism Level: Psion/Wilder 8 Display: Auditory, Visual Manifesting Time: 1 standard round Range: Touch Target: One Living Creature Touched Duration: Instantaneous/ Varies; see Text Saving Throw: Will negates Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: 15 When activated a glow emanates from subject touched and travels to your body making you glow briefly. A sucking sound emanates if successful, if failed a sputtering sounds instead. This power when activated because you to drain or siphon off some of the life force of the individual subject you touch, and transfer it to you. When activating this power you must choose what attributes you wish to siphon. The physical attributes; Strength, Dexterity, Constitution all appear to be a red color, while the non-physical attributes Charisma, Intelligence, and Wisdom all appear as a blue glow. Only drain 1d6 attributes at a single manifesting, and you only gain these temporarily unless you spend double the points when manifesting this power, stated before will save is rolled. If you permanently siphon off the points you receive half of what you roll with a minimum of 1. The subject will regenerate the missing points slowly at a rate of 1 per week; the permanent points are gone forever however. In addition to this the psion can choose to drain year from the subject and in doing so takes 1d 8 yrs per roll, added to his own lifetime expectancy at the cost of the person taken from, once again only receiving half per successful roll and spending double the power points to manifest prior to rolling for save. The temporary points can be give by a willing participant as can the permanent points there by removing the will power save. |
| redhase04-16-06, 05:59 PM | I any one has suggestion to help please do, and you can help make the psionics ideal. here's the ideal I came up with. Bela Donna's hands the psionost can by their power of their mind make hands apperar and with a sucessful graple check with each hand, the psionist can control the hand or hands to grab the victums wrists or ankles. Or the psionist can grab any other body part and controll the victum. the victum needs to make an strength check not to have their wrist or ankles taken over by the hands. 1. the hands strength of the hands should be atleast 18 or 19. 2. the psionist can be able to make one hand appear with their psionics power or 6 to 9 power points, a second and 3 or 4th hand to appear, with power points of 3 to 7 for each hand? 3. the psionist uses their will or int bonus to create more hands, if the psionist gets a +3 on their int or will then they can creat 3 extra hands, which they can control with their mind power. (which would work better will or intelligence bonuses for extra hands?) 4. the psionist can then make the hands (with an sucessful graple for each hand) grab, lets say thier ankles and turn the victum up side down and hold them their for as long as their power points allow. the psionist can then slam the victums head on the floor or slam the victum against the wall. or what ever the psionist wishes the hands to do. the hands could be used to grab the victums ankles and wrist and hold them in the air. I would likle help to delevlope this power and figure out the power points for the frist hand and the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th hand. and to figure out if it's a wil or int bonuses for the extra hands. I have not seen any thing like this in the books so this for those who want to help you can have credit for helping with the psionist power. I got the ideal for my ideal of the psionist power i'm working on of choking hand. i would like everone's ideals and help to develope this ideal. thank you in advance. Bela Donna's hands Level: psoinsit ? wilder ? Display: Phyiscal Manifesting Time: 1 standard Action Range: target you can see Target: One Medium or smaller humanoid Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Will negates Power Resistance: Yes Power Points: 6 to 9 (frist hand, second hand, 3rd, or 4th 3 to 6 or more per hand.) the Hands of Bela Donna allows the psionist to make a hand witch they can control with their mind power to grab the victums wrist or oter body part, more than one can can be made by the psionist. By using their will or intigenllangce bonuses and create more mands. The psionist can then (with an sucessful graple check for each hand) grab the victums wrist or ankls, depending on witch the psionist choices to have the hands grab. the psionist can then if grabbing both ankles turn the victim up side down and slam them against the wall or slam the victums head on the floor. Or the psionist can (if they can make 4 hands) grab both ankles and their wrist and hold them spread eagle in the air while the victum is held in the air. This action will allow the psionist to have thier friends or other to then attack the victum or capture them. what do you think and please help with the power points and with the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hands on how many power points used for each extra hand. do you think it 's a will or int bonus for extra hands? any help is appreacted! |

| thasis04-23-06, 04:12 AM | The SRD doesn't define what is core. It defines what is allowed to be refrenced and/or republished in other sources without the direct consent (or paying of royalties and the such) to Wizards. |

| jagggar06-06-06, 10:10 PM | *lets loose a peal of laughter that's far too giddy to be evil* So after seeing The Omen today I went to the Library. Didn't have any D&D books. So I went to the book stores while I was out. . . and found the XPH for $17.48 ($18.80 with tax) and my mommy was nice enough to let me get it (since I hadn't bought Underworld: Evolution). Sure I could look at the SRD, but I get a headache after doing that for a while. I've kinda been skimming the book and reading parts of the racial descriptions. Any suggestions on what I should read firstish? |
| thasis06-07-06, 01:49 AM | Ok, I just got back from seeing the Omen... omfg... oh my... I WANT YOU JEBUS! The point is, that movie ruled. And it was sooooo close to the original that I almost cried in joy. God that movie was great. Set up for a sequal to... so happy. As for the XPH... I'd suggest realy going over the Psion and the Powers. After that go through the Psionic Warrior and Wilder. Lastly go over the Soulknife (As it's not that great, except in concept maybe). |

Looks like a lot of decent people here, from the threads I've read in Psionics. |
| Zarreth_Nessad06-22-06, 09:28 AM | I would like some objective opinions from people, and anything said will not be quoted or republished. I would like for these to be sent directly to me and not posted on a thread (although if you read the thread in question and wish to comment, that is your own choice, I just do not wish to cause any drama). I have recently been told in the thread, linked below, that my advice "is bad. And is not appreciated." I would greatly appreciate it if people would look over the thread below (and any other threads I have posted in that you come across) and let me know whether or not this person is correct. If he is (or you feel he is) correct, feedback would also be appreciated in where I went wrong, or how I gave bad advice. My social skills, I admit, are greatly lacking, and I often overlook things that may be obvious to other people. Again, I do not want to cause any type of scene/drama/flaming/etc, so I will not be making a thread, replying to this person, or otherwise making replies about this to me public in any way. | RavinRay08-13-06, 10:39 AM | Author's note: This is a backstory that I wrote for the subpsionic gem dragons I created in the psionics forum and subsequently submitted at the Third Eye. Because it is a derivative work of Mark and Scott's Legend of Sardior series, I felt it only proper that I post it here rather than the psionics forum. The clerics of Sardior know of his destruction of his obsidian dragon thane Seradess and the banishment of the obsidian dragons, but the reasons behind this remain unproven. One theory has it that Sardior’s then advisor, Blithenpaxantadravos, coaxed Seradess to experiment with the practice of subpsionics; she subsequently turned to evil and took the rest of the obsidian dragons with her, something that Sardior could not tolerate. They have taken this as an indication that the pursuit of subpsionics may lead one to evil, and is something the Master of the Gem Dragons forbids or at the very least discourages his followers to pursue. However, this appears to be in contradiction with rumors of the emergence of three new gem dragon species, each of which specializes in the supposedly forbidden practice. The three newly discovered gem dragons are the jade, opal, and turquoise dragons. Encounters with them are so rare that they are considered legend by most people and even by the majority of the hierarchy of the church of Sardior. Aside from isolated groups of humans and humanoid races, only his highest-ranking clergy and other dragons are aware of their existence and true nature. These three dragon species live in more remote places than most other gem dragons, accounting for their rare encounters. Some individuals choose to reside underground and are thus seen somewhat more frequently by dwarves and other underground dwellers, but they minimize their contact with other races and prefer to use their psionic powers to erase any evidence of their existence. A few make their lairs in places that would seem barren to most humanoid races, such as areas overrun by lava or dried-up remains of long-ago disappeared lakes. Physically, they resemble other gem dragons, except that their scales have a softer sheen, are opaque, and are rounded, not faceted. The reason for their need for secrecy is left up to Sardior himself; those clergy aware of their existence speculate that he is starting to assume a more pro-active role in the events of the world and is preparing for the time when the gem dragons will be drawn into conflict with sorcerers and wizards wielding Shadow Magic. In fact, the true account of their origin and purpose goes further back in time. Early in his godly existence, Sardior entered a deific dream state and traveled to a demiplane of dreams. There, the demiplane drew from the energy of his subconscious mind and one red egg was formed. Sardior probed the egg, and felt latent psionic potential. Intrigued, he fully opened his mind, and six more new gem dragon eggs formed, two each in colors of jade, opal and turquoise, surrounding the red egg. Each egg also had psionic potential, so Sardior gathered the eggs to himself and brought them back to his domicile where he nurtured their incubation and awaited their hatching. When the day came, the single red egg hatched first, and a female wyrmling with scales the color of carnelian emerged. The following day six wyrmlings emerged from the paired eggs, a male and female from each color. Sardior was happy to parent his new brood, but at the same time he wondered how they would grow and develop, and how their creation in the demiplane of dreams influenced their innate abilities. Something told him that a day would arise in the future when they would be needed and their existence revealed to the world. He kept the knowledge of their hatching a secret, and created a permanent gate to the demiplane of dreams in a secluded area of his castle. Returning to his dream state, he altered the demiplane to become a suitable home for the wyrmlings and watched them grow. The carnelian dragon was particularly precocious and developed faster than the others. As they grew older they started to become restless in the confines of the demiplane and Sardior’s castle. The Ruby Dragon faced a dilemma: he couldn’t restrain them for long, but didn’t want to reveal their existence yet. An unexpected solution came when the carnelian dragon, now bearing the name Rerraclya, came forward and volunteered to lead her nestlings on a visit of the Material Plane. Sardior was grateful for the offer but hesitated to let them go unaccompanied. He decided to join them in the form of a dream-state aspect, which would remain ethereal unless needed. Their first foray took place under cover of the night, in a remote corner of the world. From then on, the brood of seven dragons took regular secret trips beyond the castle under Sardior’s watchful eye, and always away from other dragons. He trained Rerraclya in the use of her abilities apart from the others, for he could see that she had a natural aptitude for leadership and wanted her to be his representative to the other six. When they reached breeding age, the six dragons considered raising young of their own. They wanted to start their families in the Material Plane but Sardior still felt they weren’t ready. He knew that the chance of extinction of these new species was far too great to allow them to raise their families in the uncertainty of the Material Plane. So he told them to bide their time and propagate their species in the demiplane, which he offered to expand. After generations of dragons were bred and raised in the demiplane, the time for their entry into the Material Plane drew closer. At this time Sardior had a court of six thanes—Aleithilithos the amethyst dragon, Hrodel the crystal dragon, Smargad the emerald dragon, Seradess the obsidian dragon, Charisma the sapphire dragon, and Tithonnas the topaz dragon—and an adviser, Blithenpaxantadravos the three-headed dragon. He considered revealing the existence of the new dragons with them when Seradess turned against him. Sardior destroyed Seradess and discovered that Blithen was responsible for corrupting her. He banished Blithen from his court. In the tumult that followed Blithen almost came upon Rerraclya and the six dragon progenitors, but Sardior caught up with him and removed him from his castle. Sardior realized that had Blithen discovered them before his treachery was known, he could have turned them against him just as he had done with Seradess. He also foresaw that Blithen would attempt to return and possibly challenge him and his church sometime in the distant future. It was then that the reason for the creation of the subpsionic gem dragons—as it became apparent that they were manifesting powers subpsionically—became evident to Sardior: they were to rise up and confront Blithen should he return stronger and challenge his church. Sardior then revealed them to his five remaining thanes. He expressed his concerns to the court, and outlined his plan for Rerraclya and the subpsionic gem dragons. They would be finally free to enter the Material Plane at last. But, in return, they must exercise discretion and minimize contact with other races, and especially other dragons. They will also serve as the clandestine defenders of Sardior’s church from Blithen should he ever threaten it. Rerraclya will be Sardior’s de facto new thane and representative to the jade, opal, and turquoise dragons, and she will report to him regularly. All of them decided not to reveal anything just yet to the clergy of the church so as to prevent the premature revelation of the existence of the subpsionic gem dragons. |
| VonRaventheDaring08-16-06, 01:04 PM | hmmm a project, well ..... stroking his beard Actually i do, i have been working on a psionic artifact, now i wish to have it as a minor one but if the concensses i that it is to powerful for that its okay to make it major one. I call it the golden mask of Infinitisum. It is a relic from the ruins of Jhaamdath the old human empire of psionics, in the Forgotten Realms. The mask is golden in color and bears the symbol of infinity on the forehead where the third eye is located. The item allows the wearer to use the psionic power of Fussion, as long as they are psionically active, with some modifications to the power. The item has a power point pool of 215 pp. The wearer can create as many clones as he desires as long as each clone has 5pp at the minimum. (ie 2 100pp clones, or 40 pp clones) clone is considered 2 levels lower than the wearer and have the wearers skills, knowlage, and personality. I wish to include some type of danger for using the mask as well was thinking of something along the lines of lose of sanity due to fractured personality, and reassembly of fractured personalities but haven't decided what works best yet. Any ideas? |

| RavinRay09-26-06, 07:23 AM | If anyone's interested, they can do a "How to add subpsionic gem dragons to Eberron" article, using the dragons I created (listed in my Dracodex sig), say for Dal Quor or Sarlona. |

| Panolnt11-20-06, 02:49 PM | An Elan with a Psicrystal floating nearby enters the room with several Dorjes on her back and well kept chain armour on his body "I have returned from the far reaches of the planes and would be willing to share what I have learned and experianced all for the ability to join your foundation and be known as the visitor of 100 planes. Are there any other requirements I must complete?" |
| jagggar02-27-07, 04:48 PM | I'm trying to represent some characters a friend and I came up with using Psionics. We're sorta making a few changes though: We're tossing out the powers known list and giving them whatever powers fit their abilties, also ignoring disiplines. That gunna cause problems? One character has telepathy powers, only, he's only able to use them on dragons and draconic creatures. Should he get any particular sort of power up from being limited to using his powers on Dragon-types and (Dragonblooded)? |
| xantan04-04-07, 03:20 AM | a human male enters the now crowded entry way. he wears a long jacket of supple dark brown leather. the jacket is left open, billowing behind the man as he enters. beneath the fine garment he wears sturdy yet relaxed clothes. they appear to have seen the wear of time, yet they remain undamaged. odd pockets run down the length of his pants and he wears high top boots with turned rims. around his neck is a simple hourglass pendant. he wears his light brown hair in a medium length style and wears 2 earrings; 6 sided dice. he appears unarmed, but you know from the others in this room that those who come unarmed are rarely without defenses. he strides confidently up to the throng of will manipulators, reality benders and world shapers. his lips issue a long sigh as he sees no good way to pass through the crowd and towards his appointed goal. once they grow accustomed to the new presence the others turn away, leaving the man on the outside looking in. "well this won't due..." he mutters to himself. " i am a gambler, a wanderer, a trickster and a rogue" the man says, suddenly beside Sssargoth. he holds in his hands a collection of worthless baubles, trinkets of no significant value, and a genuine smile of amusement as many in the crowd begin to realize just who those trinkets belong to. "i am all those things and more," he says addressing Sssargoth and placing the trinkets on a desk "but i am also more, for i come this day seeking to align myself with your organization. some call me the temporal distortion, mostly for my love of manipulating my namesake, but you may call me Seth Rollander" he finishes with an elegant bow. |
| RavinRay05-03-07, 02:53 AM | From his realm in the Windswept Depths of Pandemonium, Garyx the All-Destroyer surveys the Material Plane. Of late, he has taken an interest in the mental art of psionics. To the great concern of both Sardior and Blithenpaxantadravos, Garyx counts a small but formidable following among psionic creatures, and obsidian dragons in particular. Whispering promises of power to obsidian dragons and ex-shapers of Sardior's church, he lured some individuals away from the Sect of Seradess. He has even encouraged some soulknives to take levels of pyrokineticist and dedicated themselves to his service. |
| Sssargoth06-26-07, 01:39 AM | Just re-laying my claim as lord and master of the crystal keep, even if I havent exactly been around much. |

| brothersutek08-19-07, 08:54 PM | +++The doors to the hall slam open and in flies a githyanki planar raider! Rapidly deploying githyanki warriors take guard positions around its landing site while Sarths bellow orders. Down the drop hatch comes a regal figure, a male githyanki respendant in green and silver armor a black cape billows behind him as he strides to the front of the hall. He stops before Sssargoth his followers keeping all others away from him. Five Knights rush forward bearing heavy sacks, they empty their burdens before Sssargoth each sack containing dozens of illithid heads. "I am Kith'rak Sutek, these creatures would keep me from joining your guild." the proud githyanki proclaims "This was a poor choice as i offer nachos." |
| Raikhad02-28-08, 09:27 PM | A pale young man roams carefully across the halls of the guild, covered in a brown mantle. He is suddenly surprised by the appearance of the guild master, Sssargoth, showing his clean face with bright white eyes, the face of a Kalashtar. He instantly bows in front of him, his hands on the floor. "I come from a land far away, my lord Sssargoth. My temple and friends were destroyed, the only thing that was left with me was my...gift." Extending his hand, he shows his capability as a soulknife, by creating a beam of pale light. "I am an adept of the Jilashtora, the Way of the Flowing Blade, and I humbly ask for a place in your guild, for I heard here was a lair of people with the same gift as mine, and people far more powerful than me." Hello everyone, I really apologize for a big RP thingie, but, oh well, I love the kalashtar and I love soulknives. I have to admit I am not intimate to psions and powers, but the idea really is cool! I hope you accept me and I hope we can exchange thoughts about these singular gifted people, the psionic. |
| Bookmen02-28-08, 10:16 PM | (OOC: Welcome to the Guild House! I'm not sure whether or not this foundation is still very active. Hopefully I am wrong and people will show up.) |
| turalisj03-04-08, 04:56 PM | Nah, this guild is pretty much gone. Sssargoth is no where to be seen, as are most of the members. |
| Sssargoth03-08-08, 12:58 AM | I still exist, its just that I've been having trouble navigating the boards since it switched to gleemax, and World of Warcraft has consumed alot of my free time. |

| Bookmen03-08-08, 01:59 AM | I love WoW, but could never play it for one simple reason: They fscked up the story beyond anything I have ever seen anyone else do. |
| Sssargoth03-10-08, 03:57 AM | *thwacks Sssargoth with the +10 newspaper of ultimate dragon smiting* No! Bad Sssargoth, bad! Thou shalt not play warcrack, for it shall consume thyself. HAHA! I am immune to the newspaper of dragon smiting, for I am already an addict, and no longer feel much. Also, I blame Gulien for getting me into it... |
