| Astron the Wizard02-18-06, 08:10 PM | This seemingly shabby building apears to be an inn at first glance, but after skilled examination, it is revealed as a dwarven underground complex. The rooms are filled with equipment, books, scrolls, adventurers themselves, etc. While snooping, a tall man with studded leather and weopons armed to the teeth, greets you coldly. Who are you, why are you here. Do you wish to trade goods, or join the guild? if not, I will be forced to tell you to leave. My name is Astron the Wizard, although I am a sorceror. I own this guild and all the land around it. |
| turalisj02-18-06, 09:03 PM | Zik dispelled the greater invisbility spell, laughing loudly. A dwarf as a sorcerer, now that's an insult to mages everywhere. Here's my card. A navy colored card with a coiled bronze snake appeared infront of him. Zik Flameweaver, archmage of serpents. It is an interesting establishment you have here. Nothing compared to my island home, nor the council's keep, but those are nearly pure magic. Not like a dwarven structure, carved from the earth and doors and all that added on later. Meet the resident insane elf. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-18-06, 09:12 PM | The large half-red dragon ogre mage, Blood Lord Abaddon steps into the tavern followed closely by two others, Raiven and Cerberus. "we would like to seek empliyement here." |
| thasis02-18-06, 09:43 PM | A tall cloaked figure enters the halls. Little can be seen of him. His face is covered. All that can be seen is long straight green hair that flows from his cloak. As he walks in he pulls back the hood of his cloak to reveal a sinister face. His face is pale and gray. He has the distinguishing pointy ears of an elf. He has a large scar striking across his left eye. The eye that has the scar across it is pure red. His mouth is twisted into a dark sinister smirk. His eyes are piercing and have the sense of staring. The tall sinister elf speaks in a deep, but airy, voice, "Hello... what is your name again?... Astron. It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Alastor. I have recently arrived here. It seems as if you have also". The elf then looks around, "You need more furnishing". The elf then waves his hands and sparks of red magic flash. The boards of the floor then warp, twist, and pop out. They continue to shift and form untill they form into a wooden chair. The elf then sits down and gets comforatable. "What is the purpose of this fair guild. What do you have to offer to this... bright land. Are you simply yet another pointless guild that has no focus, direction or meaning. If so I suggest leaving. Otherwise, I suggest introducing your motives. Are they power? political conquest? an army of undead? any three? Most likely not, but still, speak of your motives". |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-18-06, 09:48 PM | thank you Thasis sorry, besides Priest, that was the only good name i've used, lol and Raiven & Cerberus |
| thasis02-18-06, 09:55 PM | ****... I forgot... I wasn't paying attention. I was listening to black metal with a guy named Abbadon, and I got the idea from him. Sorry... MAJOR MISTAKE... changing now. |
| turalisj02-18-06, 11:20 PM | Hello Thasis, your usual flashy entrance I see. Zik said calmly, as if furniture appearing out of thin air was a normality (which it is for an archmage) |
| Demonfey02-19-06, 12:56 AM | An insectile/reptilian creature without eyes walks through the open door, a keg the size of a large human under each arm and one strapped to his back. Hey, what'd I miss, guys? |
| Lady Rolindin02-19-06, 01:31 AM | Zik dispelled the greater invisbility spell, laughing loudly. Meet the resident insane elf. the 2e north mention the tombs ofin the netheril Mountains of the dwarven Kings and Queens who some were wizards and sorcerers. Hum a dwarf wizard and sorcer before the books core class were changed, maybe some races had the magical ability alll along and it was forgotten. who could have tought the dwarfs to be wizards and sorcerers, the netheril, the delzone empire was dealing with the Nwtheril empire and the 2e modulas suggest they tuaght the dwarfs magic. beware dwafen sorcerers and wizards are on the lose again. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-19-06, 11:20 AM | thanks Thasis. Abaddon: Male Half-Red Dragon / Ogre Mage ( +10 LA/+5 Racial Levels - Dragon) Raiven: Male Human Fighter 1/ Ranger 4/ Scout 10 Cerberus, High Priest of The Night Dragon: Male Half-Fiend Elf Cleric 20 (Darkness & Demonic) |
| turalisj02-19-06, 11:56 AM | An insectile/reptilian creature without eyes walks through the open door, a keg the size of a large human under each arm. Hey, what'd I miss, guys? Not much crowley, Thasis was just showing off as usual. |
| thasis02-19-06, 04:56 PM | The elf looks at Zik and says, "I am not Thasis. My name is Alastor. I am Thasis's acomplice. I would suggest not making the mistake again". |
| Demonfey02-19-06, 05:19 PM | Hold this for me, elf boy. With that, Crowley hands one of the kegs to the elf, forcibly if necessary. Let's see what happens next! |
| thasis02-19-06, 10:32 PM | The elf waves his hands and the kegs hover in the air. He then waves his hands and the kegs go flying into a wall and shatter, "I will not take orders from some lowly creature such as you. You are a disgrace to my cause already. If I was in the right mind I should kill you here and now. You may have purpose in the near future however. I will give you a chance to prove yourself worthy of my thoughts". |
| Demonfey02-19-06, 10:37 PM | You don't actually know what I am, do you. The oni, wolf, and elemental forms also pop up Or what they are, either, I'd bet. In unison Here's a hint: we're the same person. And we are the one left in charge of the Guild of Ultimate Evil by Thasis originally until I retired. We are Crowley, Archmage of Fire, Leader of the Council. And you, *Pats elf on head* Aren't as strong as you think, Alastor. Or as wise. With a wave of a claw, the keg that was flung reforms, the alcohol pouring back into it (don't worry-it's being cleaned as it goes). The others that appeared leave as suddenly as they arrived. Now, since 75% of all adventures begin in bars, who wants a drink? Except for elf boy, here, of course. |
| turalisj02-19-06, 10:37 PM | Meh, thought you were another incarnation of his. Wait, that's what crowley does. It's hard remembering all of these god of evil wannabes. Zik said. He then floated up through the cieling, grabbing the keg before leaving and taking it with him. He's still a ghost until the next round. |
| Demonfey02-19-06, 10:42 PM | I don't want to be a god of evil. That position's for my second in command. |
| thasis02-19-06, 10:49 PM | The elf looks at this being claiming to be him and says, "I don't particularly care who you are. Thasis left me in charge. He specifically said to me that if their was any problems with members I could deal with it as I felt I should. Now I suggest accepting your forced resigning of the Guild's control. Now I would suggest informing me on the current activities of the guild so I am efficiently run it" |
| turalisj02-19-06, 10:53 PM | Zik popped his head back in and chuckes the keg at crowley, though it's noticably empty. Now, where in the seven heavens did I leave that demiplane filled with positoxins? plan #346: Fill up several demiplanes with positoxins then dump them into the river styx. The resulting positive energy would negate the toxins within the river, and turn it into a lesser form of oceanus. |
| turalisj02-19-06, 10:55 PM | The elf looks at this being claiming to be him and says, "I don't particularly care who you are. Thasis left me in charge. He specifically said to me that if their was any problems with members I could deal with it as I felt I should. Now I suggest accepting your forced resigning of the Guild's control. Now I would suggest informing me on the current activities of the guild so I am efficiently run it" Do I see that start of a powerf struggle? |
| Demonfey02-19-06, 10:58 PM | @thasisI'm not claiming to be him, I'm saying the different things that just popped up in the same place are the same creature. :evillaugh Didn't you hear? I retired a while ago. I gave up my position and power in the guild after setting events that will destroy this world and restart it. I don't owe you a thing. That includes not making you think you are a little girl, by the way. I bet I could convince Kybele to braid your hair, too...or I could just rewrite the part of your brain that keeps your heart beating so that your body doesn't even know how to do that. Am I coming across clearly enough for you? @Turalisj: I'm getting the character to understand I respect Thasis (the player and the PC sharing the name). I don't respect haughty elves that don't do the research on their foe and just plan on threatening a foe, even if that foe's stronger in numerous ways. Respect your foe, and all that. |
| Demonfey02-19-06, 11:00 PM | Zik popped his head back in and chuckes the keg at crowley, though it's noticably empty. Now, where in the seven heavens did I leave that demiplane filled with positoxins? plan #346: Fill up several demiplanes with positoxins then dump them into the river styx. The resulting positive energy would negate the toxins within the river, and turn it into a lesser form of oceanus. *Innocent voice* Now, where'd I leave that Styx concentrate? The one strong enough to change Oceanus into the River Styx? |
| thasis02-19-06, 11:39 PM | "You are a very strange individual. I don't particularly wish speaking about apocolyptic events though for their are far to many of them". @DF Dont' take anything to offensive, just playing mein new character... well... in-character. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-19-06, 11:43 PM | Styx...what?!...w00t! lets do it! |
| Demonfey02-19-06, 11:49 PM | @thasis: I know. I just feel like giving the character a hard time. Meh. It's my job to start them. Let me guess, you don't even get confirmation of an enemy's death by having a necessary body part harvested, like their head, aren't you. So much like Droga...stereotypical, predictable, and overly confident. I'll tell you this now: you may be leader in name, but you will have to earn their respect and loyalty, and not through fear or disrespect for them. Makes them more compliant. @Priest: I don't have the concentrate. At least not yet, anyway... |
| redhase02-20-06, 12:58 AM | Deamonfey is right in saying you have to know youe enemys. the art of war, know your enemy and yourself and you will win every battle. how to do this is the way the art of war says, by sending in spys, and having informants, find out everting good and bad and every weakness and strong points about a person. It can be a city or in the game case a guild, or guild leader, find out everything about them and you will know what to do. as far as control of the guild, take control and run it as you see fit. should all plans be run through you Alastor, to let you know about things that could happen or might once we know what the gm's decide on and whatnot. study your enemy first, then make plans. I still want to blow up things with the magical devices I talked about before deamonfey. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-20-06, 01:06 AM | @ everyone you may see me mention Raiven & Cerberus, two of Abaddon(Priest's) companions, both will be with him at all times, take place in convos and such, but will not be fighting, just to let u know |
| thasis02-20-06, 10:08 AM | Alastor suddenly grows a big grin on his face, "Oh what I would do to rip your intestines through your throat, and then forcefeed them to you again. The pleasure that would induce to me. You are pushing your limits. I don't have to earn anything from you. You are simply a lowly servent to the Guild. Now I am leaving to return to the guild I officialy run". With that Alastor strides out of the building. If you follow him he's gone. Vanished without a trace. |
| Demonfey02-20-06, 11:27 AM | He really needs to learn. As if I have organs. He also needs to learn the meaning of the word "retired". |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-20-06, 11:36 AM | Ooh, powerstruggle. |
| thasis02-20-06, 05:48 PM | My character is Aragont, Selfish, Sadistic, and he is in general a complete ass. |
| turalisj02-20-06, 05:53 PM | So he is a carbon copy of you in rl? :D |
| thasis02-20-06, 06:04 PM | <<...>>... just maybe... just maybe... :D |
| B2802-20-06, 08:59 PM | I welcome you all to my guild. Alll except Thasis. I understand that you rule the Gulid of Ultimate Evil. I have nothing against evil, and I'm not that good, but I don't wish to side myself in any guild wars right now. You're disguise does not fool me Alastar. All you with an affliction for dragons will be given special rooms. I honor and respect the dragons. :king: |
| turalisj02-20-06, 09:00 PM | Good. I expect chocolate dipped drow heads delivered to my room with drow blood wine, dated -88yk. Thank you. :D |
| Demonfey02-20-06, 09:01 PM | Shall we start the stereotypical "group of adventurers meets in a bar" bit, now? I brought the booze. |
| B2802-20-06, 09:05 PM | Yes, demonfry. As soon as my buisness is done. (the wizard swirls in a misty haze, and you see a battle-hardened warforged vetran standing before you.) Now, demonfry... what were you saying? |
| turalisj02-20-06, 09:06 PM | Are we doing this with low level adventurers? If so, then one sec while I go through my list..... |
| Demonfey02-20-06, 09:08 PM | I'm not demonfry (although it would be fitting). I'm demonfey. Right, then. Who wants ale? |
| B2802-20-06, 09:15 PM | Yes, we are low level, at least, you are. Oh yes demonfry, I'll take a dwarven spirit, and make it strong! |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-20-06, 09:23 PM | he annoys me. |
| Astron the Wizard02-20-06, 09:24 PM | In a swirl of mist, the sorceror you saw earlier apears before you again. Sorry about that, sort of like a "Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde" thing, ya know? :D |
| Demonfey02-20-06, 09:58 PM | With a claw, Crowley taps one of the kegs and begins pouring a mug sized for a dwarf (translation: can you swim?) |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-20-06, 10:11 PM | i dont care. its lame. its annoying. |
| turalisj02-21-06, 06:45 AM | Zik steps into the room, having stabilized his form atleast for the moment. Can we begin before my body teleports to a random plane again? |
| Demonfey02-21-06, 11:22 AM | Hey, what size drink do you want, normal or dwarven? |
| turalisj02-21-06, 04:15 PM | I brought my own moonwine. It has an exotic flavor that dwarven ales lack. Zik replied, taking out a large covered gold mug from his bag of holding and setting it down. He removed the cover, at which beams of moonlight shot from the inside of the mug, and took a few sips. |
| Astron the Wizard02-21-06, 04:36 PM | Suit yourself. We will start shortly. all of you will be shown to your rooms. Of course, until you gain recognition through the guild, you may have to double up. Please, if you get the Rusty Axe into an alliance, or recruit more members, you will be rewarded. Understand that. Thank you. with that, the wizard clapps his hands, and a halfling with padded armor and a belt of daggers appears in the room. with a flourish of his hand, you all find yourselves in seperate chambers with bunkbeds and a table. In the room there is a small, wimpy and scrawny adventurer. There are doors leading to the training dome, the mess hall, outdoors, the main chamber, the lavatory, and more. |
| turalisj02-21-06, 04:48 PM | Elven Moondrop: Equisite beyond compare, this beverage can be produce only by someone with the craft(alchemy) skill. It is made through a bizzare process involving fresh dew and moonlight. Very powerful stuff. |
| Astron the Wizard02-21-06, 05:05 PM | Turalisj: the quiet voice of the halfling whispers: I'm sure it is.As you are lead to your room. You are unlucky (or lucky?) enough to have him as a roommate. Strangely, the halfling always carries a lead sheet with him in a pouch of holding. |
| turalisj02-21-06, 05:21 PM | Thank correllen it is damn near impossible to kill a ghost..... :P Oh, and the hafling will die if he touches any of Zik's stuff. That, and I have a second cahracter to add, one second.... |
| thasis02-21-06, 05:53 PM | Alastor walks into the guild calmy and sits down in the chair that he created upon his last visit, "I shall not be unincluded. I have just as much right to be here as anybody else". |
| Demonfey02-21-06, 05:54 PM | Meh, I just make sure that protocol's followed. I'm headed back to the Blue Lizard. That's right, people. With the restart of the games shall be a return of the Blue Lizard Inn! |
| thasis02-21-06, 06:21 PM | The Blue Lizard Inn... is Bronzebeard returning? |
| Demonfey02-21-06, 06:43 PM | He left the place in my care, remember? I am ashamed that I have let it get so bad that it hasn't been seen for ages, but I will help it make a comeback! |
| Astron the Wizard02-21-06, 08:56 PM | I hold nothing against you, Alastor, the guild of the Rusty Axe welcomes you with open arms. But if you breath one word about the GoUE or the guild wars, you shall find that a severe punishment awaits you, a fate worse than death. |
| Astron the Wizard02-21-06, 09:03 PM | turalisj: Actually, the halflingdid not pilfer any of your things. Quite the oppesate. when you awake the next morning, you find a tomb of ancient times long forgotten. (hint hint, adventure hook) it is filled with maps. One map says that at the heart of a maze of caverns lies an artifact of undisputed power. Nothing rivals it. The map shows you to the enertance of the caverns, but no farther. How's that, hu? :ayyyy!: |
| thasis02-22-06, 09:36 AM | OOG: This guild isn't part of the Guild Wars? |
| Astron the Wizard02-22-06, 10:54 AM | No. I want nothing to do with them until I have a stronger standing among the guilds. :mage: |
| thasis02-22-06, 04:53 PM | Not to sound offensive, but getting a stronger standing amongst other guilds is difficult when all of the other guilds are involved in the Guild Wars. The best way to get a good standing is to get into the Guild Wars and act as a neutrul source that acts as mercenaries, suppliers, or whatever the goals of this foundation/guild is. Just my 2 Bits though. Alastor loosing his normally gloomy and sadistic aproach puts on a sumbraro and starts doing a jewish dance, "Hell, if we're all going to be incinerated by the gods, I might as well enjoy my last days". :P :D   |
| Astron the Wizard02-23-06, 04:00 PM | The Wizard archs his eyebrows and strokes his beard, as he polps down on a throne that appears in mid-air. Tell me more....... |
| Demonfey02-23-06, 04:28 PM | And Nhyris comes slithering in after him. Sir, we don't know when it's happening. Could be a minute from now, could be fifty years from now. |
| turalisj02-23-06, 05:48 PM | Not to sound offensive, but getting a stronger standing amongst other guilds is difficult when all of the other guilds are involved in the Guild Wars. The best way to get a good standing is to get into the Guild Wars and act as a neutrul source that acts as mercenaries, suppliers, or whatever the goals of this foundation/guild is. Just my 2 Bits though. Such as striking at targets a guild would normaly be unable to get to. |
| Kobold_Ur_Priest02-23-06, 05:51 PM | The lumbering half-dragon ogre mage walks in, flanked by his two companions. "If anyone needs me, leave me a message at the Inn." ( JUST PM ME!) |
| Wilds02-23-06, 07:55 PM | Fang walks in blood dripping off of his fur. He swivels his bestialy head around the room and finds the snake man. "There has been a small issue, some villagers managed to find a mage to set up a wall. My peopel are taking it down now, but until then I think I'll relax before going back to fun." |
| Demonfey02-23-06, 08:51 PM | Not here. Take it up at the guild. And I no longer control it, Thasis replaced me. |
| thasis02-23-06, 10:19 PM | The Wizard archs his eyebrows and strokes his beard, as he polps down on a throne that appears in mid-air. Tell me more....... Well first, find some people (with Combat, Magic, Psionic, or Incarnate experiance), most likely NPC's but no necessarily, who are looking for money. Tell them that you can get them connected with deals. Say you will get deals and contracts for them if you get a percentage of all rewards. So you make money and people working for you as a mercenary service. Other Guilds and the such in the upcomming IFGW will then contract your Mercs. That's just one idea... :D Alastor suddenly stops dancing and takes of the sumbraro, "You didn't see anything". He then slinks into a corner and starts eating an elf heart that somehow appeared into his hand. |
| Wilds02-23-06, 10:49 PM | "O.......ok....." He shakes his body blood splatters on the ground and then he turns and leaves. |
| thasis02-23-06, 11:01 PM | Alastor looks at this new figure, "You were looking for me. I am the new leader of the Guild of Ultimate Evil. Let us procead this discussion at my guild halls however". Alastor then walks out and heads toward the Guild of Ultimate Evil. |
| Astron the Wizard02-25-06, 12:57 PM | Thank you Alastor, your input is very valuable. It is decided. The RUSTY AXE will participate in the Guild Wars!!! |
| thasis02-25-06, 02:31 PM | Well I'm glad you decided to enter. If you do create a character for the Guild Wars I suggest taking the Leadership feat. It's rather useful for the type of thing your doing. |
| turalisj02-25-06, 09:28 PM | It's the interfoundation war games, not guild wars. Guild wars is a seperate game. [not so subtle advertising] Though, if you do get guild wars and make a character for that, make sure to join the J A D E Trojans. ^_^ [/not so subtle advertising] |
| thasis02-26-06, 03:17 PM | Guild Wars, Interfoundation War Games, it's all the same :P |
