Assuming not, there are no values for class features listed anywhere. What you're hearing is people's personal feelings on what balances one class against the others. When someone says that a rogue's Trap Sense ability is worth the same as another class' feature, they are stating that this ability is balanced against another ability found in some other class.

Much of this is a matter of oppinion (usually based on a great deal of experience in playing the game), and is not quantified in any 'official' sourcebook that I am aware of.

BTW... if I am wrong about this, and values are listed in an official WotC sourcebook, please let me know. As I would love to check that material out too. ;)

05-27-04, 10:09 AM Search kazaa or emule for the 'class generator'. It's a .pdf sheet containing a breakdown of the classes according to a system and explains how to gauge newly invented classes. You still have to do the wet-finger-work but at least it provides guidelines.
