kafit 04-21-04, 06:42 PM	Okay, I really hope I don't sound too terribly ignorant here buuuut, I have no idea how exactly the whole blood lines thing works. Not a bit. The description in the book totally did not help. Can anyone out there enlighten me please?
MattMart 04-22-04, 03:49 PM	choose a bloodline gain the abilities listed at said character levels... multiclass into bloodline class by specified character levels.... basically...take a certine number of hitpoint skillpointless levels in order to gain the benifits listed... the number of levels you need to use on your bloodline depends on how powerful the bloodline... Minor requires 1 level to be placed in bloodline by the specified overall character level... Medium requires 2 levels to be placed in bloodline... Major requires you to level into bloodline 3 times... there is a chart which tells you when you must have taken each of the required levels....but i dont have the book in front of me... for example...for a major bloodline....you get powers every level no matter what you class into as long as 3 levels are dropped on a "Bloodline" class by certine points in the character's career....
Veneficus 04-22-04, 05:16 PM	The bloodline is a way to get a level advanced race without worrying about the ECL at first level. The ECL gets broken up over a few levels, and the powers of the template race or level advanced race come to you based on your total character level.
kafit 04-22-04, 05:49 PM	So basically, at certain levels, you use your xp to up your ecl by one instead of gaining an actual class level, is that it? I think I am starting to understand it. Interesting concept. Thanks guys!
