I have a question that I'm a little confused about.

It says a necromancer's undead companion gets +1 warrior level per wizard level.

I'm a little confused as to how that works, since skeletons don't normally advance in that manner. (In fact, they don't really advance at all.)

Two basic questions:

1. Since they have an NPC class, do they get NPC stats? (13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8).

2. Do I calculate their BaB as warriors (1/level) or undead (1/2 HD)?

Where exactly does it say that it gains warrior levels?

It explains how they gain power in the third paragraph of the Skeletal Minion description.

I see now, it threw me off when it referred to the skeleton as a 1st level warrior skeleton. Before 3.5, I had never seen a skeleton being referred to as having levels, before that it would have been a human skeleton, or whatever.
