| Zat06-15-07, 09:26 PM | I'm running a game that's using the Weapon Proficiencies variant and I have an Artificer playing in the game. I'm not sure how man Proficiencies to give him. It doesn't 'fit' to match him as a wizard or sorcerer, but as to what to do and not over or under power him I'm not sure. |

| Zat06-17-07, 02:28 PM | I was kinda' thinking the same thing, but I've had a few others tell me that they should be more akin to the other arcane classes, even though it's not really an arcane class. I was thinking giving them Basic + 1 melee and +1 ranged. That might be too restrictive though. Damn my inability to understand how this game balances things. |

So, I'd give them more than the cleric rather than less. Basic +2 on choice are the minimum - personnally, I'd probably go for Basic +3 (probably with an imposed choice - like hammers). |
