Amancio 05-18-06, 02:52 PM	I'm trying to find a way to justify the Bard spell list including healing spells. I'm new to 3.5, and a vet of 2e, so the thought of a Bard casting cure light wounds terrifies me. I suppose what I'd like to know, in your opinion, why were healing spells added to the Bard spell list? Additionally, is there a single-weapon feat in a book somewhere? I'm looking for a feat that gives an advantage to someone for using one single-hand weapon and no shield. Ideally I'd like to see what others have done before I try and make my own house rule. Thanks
Reversefigure4 05-19-06, 09:02 PM	For one handed weapon stuff, try taking a look at the Duelist PrC and see if there's anything you like out of there. http://www.d20srd.org/srd/prestigeClasses/duelist.htm The Dueling feat from Knights of the Old Republic (based off the d20 system) comes to mind. It's +1 to attack and +1 to defence if you weild one single handed weapon. You'd need to change it a little for D&D - maybe +1 to attack rolls, not damage, and a +1 bonus to AC.
