Battle Scion of the elven blades [Archive] - Wizards Community

I'm playing a fighter/ranger grey elf, whose race was decimated a hundred wears or so. My character believes that a few actually survived, just like him. He was left in a human family by his father before the battle that wiped them out. Along with him, he left a elven thinblade and a elven lightblade.

Enough story now. I'm convincing my DM to let me play a battle scion, using these two blades as legendary weapons. They are not magical for now, nor they grant any bonus. We're just having a hardtime creating abilities for the levels of the class since it's two weapons instead of one.

Other point is the fact that they are not magical... yet. I believe it would be a nice entry requirement to do a ritual to "awaken" the blades, previously to entering the PrC.

Finally, I'm thinking in giving a elf feel for the abilities. Something like the blades were created for protecting the elves and their interest.

Well, any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

this sounds like it was homemade to be tackled by Weapons of Legacy.

as for Elven-esque abilites, look to things that make one quicker and more nimble at lower lvls, like improved initiative and such and mabe haste later on.

also,
check out Lost Empires of Faerun which has some information on a bunch of Elven specific items including the Elvenblades.

Ok, I'm going to search for that book. Thanks Monkeygod.
