There are no PrC's (at least that I know of) which require proficiency with one martial weapon, and there aren't really any full caster PrC's which have a BAB requirement. Personally, I would never play a sorcerer in a game where the Battle Sorcerer is allowed. |

Arcane Strike (feat from CW) is also a good choice later on, combine it with Haste and you can deal good amounts of damage. As for a PrC, in the right hands I would say that the Daggerspell Mage (CV) is also a good choice, will help you in the skills area, and would provide the same casting progression as a Eldritch Knight (9/10, and requires a level from another class). |

Can they stand up as a full 20 level build on their own? I think they could, in all honesty. Sure the sorcerer can cast more spells, but the Battle Sorc can cast the SAME spells, wear armour, have better hit points and can smack them in the face with a one handed weapon. Given Eschew Materials and whatever feat doesn't require a somatic component, they can probably stand toe to toe with even a more martially inclined class. |

The natural armor might be useful, but so would the claw attack; most important, though, the breath weapon means you don't need to worry about taking a damage spell at every level. |
