Bloodline Abilities [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-09-07, 05:22 PM I am reading through the bloodline abilities and I have noticed several of them get spells. Question is, what is the caster level for the spell? Is it equivalent to HD?

08-09-07, 05:48 PM When the caster level for a spell-like ability is not specified, the caster level is equal to the creature's HD. For bloodlines, it would be HD+bloodline levels.

It's a neat concept, but it's probably the most confusingly arranged system in the whole of d20.

08-11-07, 08:31 PM Bloodline levels count for determining the save DC of everything. That's one of the neater aspects of bloodlines; they count as levels of <Insert Anything Here> for determining save DCs based on level.
