You see I don't exactly understand how bloodlines work, I know the character gains certain advantages as the progress in the the bloodline and they have to took a certain amount of bloodline levels but thats about all I get. Basically as it appears to me Bloodline levels are simply an LA at a later date or is it more of an LA buyoff at a given level ? This is how I see bloodlines working please tell me if I'm wrong, for a minor bloodline a character would take a level in there bloodline at level 12 basically gaining no benefits for gaining a level (Basically a delayed LA) is this correct. If it is correct is there a better way maybe a Exp. point cost instead ? Thanks |

What reason do you have for allowing players to play characters with a net + of ability mods, and a host of some fairly good special abilities. Why not just use the XP buyoff in UA for that? It seems like a better idea than what you seem to be proposing, because then it doesn't unbalance the race choice. Bloodlines are abilities you get as you level, but you have to have levels in the bloodline before you get to a certain character level in order to get them as you level. It's hard to explain, and I'm not the best at it, so yeah. |
