12-04-05, 02:19 AM I haven't seen the spirit shaman, but I doubt it. The bloodlines do not provide a creature with any effect (such as creature type change) they don't specifically say they do.

I think that bloodlines are a distant ancestry, not enough to qualify as the fey type or otherwise detect as fey.

12-04-05, 02:53 PM I agree with Phoenix. Reading the description there is no change to the creature type when acquiring a bloodline. For example, the fey-bloodline'd character could not use a magic item that required fey-blood to use.

12-19-05, 03:26 PM To my knowledge, it is never actually stated how far back your divergent parentage is. That's all fluff that an individual character can decide for themselves. Being "blooded" for feats and magic is a fairly limited thing. Half-orcs and Half-elves are orc and elf blooded specifically. By the Player's Handbook they are NOT also human blooded. Races of Destiny touches on this topic and has some optional rules for how to deal with being "blooded."

Because it's not RAW for half-breeds to be "blooded" for both parents, I suspect that merely having a heritage bloodline will not qualify a character either.
