I had this weird idea... basically, use action points(from ebberon) but one recovers them after a full nights sleep. Use them for the standard abilities and also as spell points to power spells. As in the title, i'm just brainstorming so any comments would be pretty cool... For the time being i would say each spell would cost 1 action point/per spell level. casters would be able to cast (Abilitiy mod+caster level) 0 level spells before they would cost 1 point each. At this point i was thinking that spell casters would have a 'channel rating' based upon class level (doesn't stack with other caster classes) that represents the max AP they can use for a single spell (so for example a 1st lev wiz would have a channel rating 1 for his wizard spells).

Um. o_o

I'd think it'd be better if you'd use the Spell Point system in UA than action points. You don't get as many action points as spell points. =/ Plus, it'd make spellcasters much, MUCH, MUCH inferior to the psionic classes.

However, I do think that having action points refill after every night would be a good idea.
